Miso glazed salmon, as a salad with kale

Do you get what you pay for at Sweetgreen? Accidentally picked up lunch here to go on their opening day, oops! Thankfully, and surprisingly, the line was pretty short, just a couple people ahead of me. Pros: No seed oils! Love that they use olive and avocado oil. Big fan of the pickled onions, and that the crispy onions were GF! Cons: The salmon was not fresh enough, as it tasted fishy; when I cook it at home, it does not taste that way. Price: felt like I should get more food for the price. They still have bumps to figure out: the assemble line isn't very organized, I was offered someone else's food several times, and the opening day festivities/freebies were unclear. I would try Sweetgreen again, but I may like Bibibop better.

Alright, I've been waiting to come here ever since I saw the announcement months and months ago. Last weekend, I tried to walk in with my wife and we were informed that they weren't open yet; but we were told to scan their QR code on the door to reserve a spot for their soft opening, which was today! Of course, we got here right on time and waited. The reason we so anticipated this place to open is because this area is full of places for burgers, wings, pizza, and pasta. If you are looking to carb load, this area is your thing. However, for lighter fares, we didn't really have that many places. Enter sweetgreen. In general, there are two types of bowls: salad bowls and grain bowls. What makes this place so good is that everything is freshly prepared on site, including the greens! In fact, their kitchen is behind a giant transparent pane of glass where you can see the fresh kale, romaine lettuce, and more, being chopped and mixed for use. Then there's the protein. There's chicken, steak, and miso salmon. On our visit, I had the chicken and my wife had the steak. The chicken was very well marinated and the steak perfectly done. As for the grains, there's white rice, purple rice, and quinoa. Without going through everything they have, the food tastes great. The portions are generous. Prices are reasonable. The only thing we didn't quite enjoy is the super loud music being played during service. In any case, we will be coming back very regularly!

I have tried a few different menu items from this place and even created my own custom bowl a few times and I have to say I have not once been disappointed in any of the choices I have made. My favorite dressing personally so far is the creamy basil and pesto vinaigrette. The hot honey mustard isn't as spicy but I love the taste. The blackened chicken was super juicy and seasoned very well, and so was the steak. The salmon is very tender and moist surprisingly. I love how everything is fresh, freshly made and/or freshly prepared in the restaurant, even a few of the dressings and sauce are made in store. The combinations for customs are endless, and the menu items were put together very well. Customs can get expensive once you add meat, and other premium toppings, but a custom comes with a base, 4 toppings and up to 3-4 dressings including lime and lemon squeezes which I think is actually pretty good for what it's worth. The salads are pretty big and the portion sizes are very decent. I can't eat it in one sitting even if I tried lol. Inside the restaurant is a nice clean and fresh aesthetic, where there is a big glass window looking into the kitchen to see the employees prepping all the fresh ingredients. I understand the restaurant still opened, so the workers are still getting used to everything and how everything is going but they were all super nice and patient. Gave good recommendations everytime I and kept the like moving swiftly. 10/10 will recommend I think I found me a good salad place

Super let down with this new location of Sweetgreen. I had been to other locations in other states many times and been very satisfied so I was of course expecting the same quality here. Unfortunately this ended up being the worst protein I have ever had at any restaurant in my life. I ordered ahead, a Steak Honey Crunch bowl. The only thing I added was garbanzo beans. Sadly the steak on the bowl was so awful I had to pick it off and throw it away. It was so tough and dry it really felt like beef jerky (please see attached picture as it says it all). The rest of the ingredients in the salad were fine but obviously the majority of cost of a meal is the protein. I sent an email in response to my experience as well as called the location and never heard back. So not good customer service either. At this point I would not return and risk wasting my money again. The 2 stars are for the location being prompt and clean inside at pickup.

Although I like the Buddha bowl, thought I'd try the Northstar burger and chicken avocado sandwich. Today was a particularly warm day for March so they had the windows open which created a nice breeze. The line took a bit of time to get to the front but the staff was extremely nice and was able to make substitutions. There a lot of seating so whether you are a party of 1 or 8 there's plenty of areas to eat. The food took about 30 minutes to arrive with the kitchen backed up. There's a self serve water station so we relaxed and took in the ambiance. There's food emphasizes fresh ingredients and the burger and chicken sandwich did not disappoint. The burger is vegetarian friendly and comes with a good portion of kale slaw. The chicken sandwich was stacked tall and super filling. Would recommend to try!

We started with the tasting and all of the selections on the sweet menu were absolutely delicious! I honestly would purchase them all by the bottle they were that good. Even though it was a little busy, we still were able to walk right up and get a spot and were instantly waited on and she did a wonderful job of keeping the tastings coming. We hadn't decided on dinner yet and my friend recommended we stay and eat because she loved the food - I am glad that I took her suggestion. I got the jambalaya and I do not think I have had such a flavorful jambalaya in Ohio much less a winery-type place. My mouth is honestly watering right now thinking about it. Our waiter for our dinner was quick and kind. Overall it was an amazing experience, especially for my birthday, and I will definitely be back - that strawberry rhubarb wine is calling my name again already!

We made our reservation about a month in advance, arrived early at 5:00 p.m. for our 5:15 seating, and were seated fairly quickly. Our waitress, Margaret, was friendly at first--but unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ended. We waited 45 minutes for our starter and an hour and a half for our entrée. What made it more frustrating was watching nearby tables--many seated after us--receive their meals, finish, and even turn over while we were still waiting. We finally left around 7:30 p.m., feeling very disappointed. The food at Cooper's Hawk is consistently excellent, which is why this experience was so discouraging. There were also billing issues: I had a birthday reward and several wine bottles through my membership available, yet the wine was still charged to our bill and the birthday reward wasn't applied until I pointed it out. Although part of it was corrected, we still ended up paying for the bottle that should have been included. We usually enjoy wonderful visits here, and Cooper's Hawk remains one of my favorite restaurants. However, this particular experience--especially the long wait times and billing confusion--was truly disappointing, and I would hesitate to dine in the same section again.

It was like a small city that I had never heard about. There were so many stores and restaurants all around. The atmosphere was amazing, there was a celebration in the square for Juneteenth and the live band and singers were wonderful. The food at Cowboy Sallys was delicious. I got the Coca-Cola Short Ribs and they were so good. The mashed potatoes were creamy and the short rib fell apart like butter. My friends each got a sandwich and they loved them. We ended the meal with dessert, their bread pudding and chocolate lava cake. They were both delicious, and the cake was nice and warm. Our server told us that the lava cake is supposed to come with ice cream and they ran out, so she took it off our bill which was very nice. While the service was very kind and welcoming, it was a little slow. Our server took a while to come to the table in the beginning and was somewhat absent during the dining experience. The host came over to take our order because she was busy. But they were both very nice when they did come to the table and chatted with us. Overall it was very fun and the food was really good, and it was the perfect night with nice weather and live music not far away.

Lots of black, blue, darker colors, but nowhere near as macabre. Pleasant, though. We were given menus, cool, leather bound mini binders. (These are way different than other pics from earlier reviews) Really neat selection of house drinks (adult beverages) wide selection of Bourbons, whiskey and tequila. My wife got the Berry Naughty, (see menu pic for description) Evan waited on us. I ordered the Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich, Hickory-smoked pulled pork + Tangy Carolina gold BBQ sauce + Southern slaw + House pickles + Cowboy Crack Sauce + Buttered brioche with fries. It has coleslaw and their special Cowboy Crack sauce on it. The pulled pork was cooked well, huge amount of meat. Definitely not shredded, but pulled apart. A few chunks were at least 2" in length and about 1 1/4" wide. Also, it comes with a boq sauce already on it, besides their special sauce. My preference is the pork has no boq sauce on it but it's at the table to add if it's needed. But, gotta say this, HUGE amount of meat, and a tasty bun. Fries were good, but not spectacular or special. Their ketchup has some kick to it, so that was pretty neat. But, my taste buds were almost confused with the special sauce, the bbq sauce and then the ketchup. My wife ordered the Coca-Cola Braised Short Rib Slow-braised short rib + Coca-Cola reduction + Buttery whipped potatoes + Smothered green beans + Crispy tobacco onions. Next time I may order that. I tasted the meat and mashed potatoes, yeh, really yummy! All in all, a good night, really good service, not too noisy, nice decor (several lights looked burnt out in a corner chandelier and a a dark evening, it would be difficult to see a menu. Just sayin') Not a big drinker but definitely a large selection of adult beverages. Would definitely make it a fun evening. Yeh, warrants a return visit with friends!!

The concept is basically same as Chipotle, build your own bowl pick your own protein, veggies and bases. We started ours with the lemon rice and added I think almost all the toppings lol and then we got the fried chicken if I remember correctly, and added the sauce on the sides. Now I had very high hopes for the restaurant. But what I didn't like is how 1. The chicken was super big. More like chicken nuggets in the bowl instead of chicken FOR the bowl. We had like 6 pieces of chicken but a big bowl full of other toppings. Something I did like though is there was no limit on the toppings. You could get all of them or none of them if you really wanted. It threw me off with the sauces we asked for them in the side and they gave us packets. Idk why but it kind of threw me off too then we ended up forgetting to even use them when we ate the actual bowl. The sauces probably would have helped with the bowl, but tbh the experience was just anti climatic. Personally it just feel like a whole bunch of American Asian items thrown together in one bowl
