    Spicy Noodles
    Harish J.

No frills Thai place with friendly service and huge portions in my opinion. The spicy noodle had great flavor, nice char on the vegetables and succulent chicken. Definitely give them a try if you are in the area.

Solid 4 star thai restaurant. Went on a random Wednesday afternoon with a large group. Everyone in the group got food from the lunch menu. Took about 30 minutes to get the food out so I'd assume all the food was cooked fresh. Server was prompt and efficient with orders and refills. Some of the foods were kind of weird. That's the reason for -1 star. All the pad thais were kind of sweet. But the curries were phenomenal! The red curry and yellow curry were both close to perfect. Had to add chili flakes to it to spice it up. Food quantity was on the large side. Solid amount of rice and salad came with the entree. They did add a mandatory 20% gratuity but thats to be expected for a large party. Solid spot in Hollywood if I'm around.

Came here for take-out. This Thai restaurant is kosher and vegetarian. The food is very good. It's in a mini-mall so parking is very easy. The menu is large and has pictures of each dish which is very helpful. I have to come back here and try more things. It was hard to pick what to get. Everything looked so good. We ordered a bunch of appetizers to share. We got sweet potato fries, dumplings, potato samosas, spring rolls, golden tofu, and chicken nuggets. Everything was delicious. The sweet potato fries were really good (not your typical Thai food but I still suggest ordering them). I also really loved the chicken nuggets and the dumplings. It's very fun to share a bunch of appetizers. Of note, is that the golden tofu is a much bigger sized appetizer than the others. For our main course we got the pad thai noodle, pineapple curry, and panang curry. I asked for my vegetables to be well-done and they delivered. Cooked to perfection. You can never go wrong with pad thai. We added vegan chicken. I enjoyed it very much. Of the three things we ordered that's the one I would order again and again. The pineapple curry was good but the sauce was thin. I prefer a thicker curry sauce so I will get something different next time. The panang curry was also good but we got it with brown rice and next time we will order the white rice instead because it's tastier that way. A couple things stood out here. One is that they got the order perfectly which is not always the case with to-go orders and something I really appreciate. Another was that the packaging of the to-go order was done really well so that everything stayed at a good temperature and did not spill out on the way home. Service was also very kind and helpful. The ambiance of this place is cute. It's a small place but spacious at the same time. It's surrouded by windows which makes it feel bigger. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great for date night or meeting up with your friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I would suggest eating here rather than doing take-out since it's a nice place to eat and the food is excellent.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very clean and pleasant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had to get home on this particular day. Otherwise I would definitely have stayed.

Way too spicy food that's going to end up in the trashcan

We ordered the food to not be spicy and it was too spicy for anybody to eat. We ordered delivery. The restaurant refused to do anything to help us with unless we return to the restaurant, and with two small kids I could not do that. Very disappointing.

Pumpkin Eggplant Lover with steamed tofu - phenomenal!

I was so thrilled to finally get to try this place. It is certified kosher (which was an essential for my friend) and vegan, which is why I wanted to go here in the first place. There were so many things on the menu that I really wanted to try and on this trip, was only able to try 2 items. I'd love to be able to try their Tom kha soup, curry, and mango sticky rice on a different trip. It's extremely expensive in my opinion for Thai food, especially when you're just getting vegetables and tofu but sheesh it was delicious. We tried the pumpkin, eggplant, tofu stirfry with steamed tofu ($23 or $24) and the pad Thai with fried tofu ($20). Both were great and my favorite part was the eggplant in the stirfry! So tender and perfect! The waitress was also very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend and I can't wait to try again.

I was very disappointed with the food here. I heard good things about this restaurant, but unfortunately, I won't be recommending this place to anyone. The food was 2/10. Refrain from tasting fresh and flavorful like it's supposed to. I've been to many (non-kosher) Thai cuisines, and there are better options if you eat at non-kosher restaurants. The service was okay, and the ambiance was nice, but the restaurant seemed cleaner. Easy free parking.

Came back for takeout a second time, and still really did not disappoint (though man inflation has hit prices hard, $55 for 3 items) What we got: pineapple fried rice, spicy noodles, and eggplant pumpkin lover - our favorite dish consistently is the eggplant pumpkin lover! - pineapple fried rice was the second choice and spicy noodles was just OK The blend of flavors is just superb, and what they use as meat substitutes is so flavorful- especially their "chicken" and how they deep fry the tofu! We got takeout again, but the restaurant itself looked like a casually cute, intimate vibe. Around 4 tables around 9pm on a Tuesday, so pretty good crowd! 100% would come back- so far our favorite is pumpkin eggplant lover and curry noodles!

No leftovers, no over-ordering... a true test of discipline at a place like this. Started with a Thai iced tea that hit exactly right. Balanced, not overly sweet, and generously poured. Service throughout the meal was excellent. Attentive without hovering, and the pacing was spot on. I never felt rushed, which is rare when you're clearly on a clock. For my appetizer, I went with the Phuket wings. As someone who takes wings seriously, I can say these stood out. Crispy, flavorful, and coated in a Southern Thai curry sauce I hadn't experienced before. Rich, slightly sweet, with a depth that kept me going back for "just one more." For the main, I took the server's recommendation and ordered the Thai beef salad to balance things out. Smart call. The dressing leaned creamier than what I usually expect, but it worked. Bright, flavorful, and layered. I'll be honest, I couldn't quite finish it, but the beef didn't stand a chance. Every last bite. Dessert sealed the deal. The mango sticky rice, now famously known as the Cardi B Mango Sticky Rice, lived up to the hype. Perfectly ripe mango, warm sticky rice, and that coconut sauce tying it all together. Simple, classic, and done right. The space itself tells a story. Walls lined with photos of the owner alongside celebrities from all over. But what stood out more than the photos was the man himself. He made his way around the room, greeting guests, checking in, bringing real warmth to the experience. No hierarchy, no pretense. Everyone gets treated like they belong. Twenty-six years in and I'm just now discovering this place? Better late than never. Next time, I'm bringing a group and ordering everything family style. That's the move.

Everything tasted fine, but not as flavorful or 'seasoned' as how other Thai restaurants are. We recommend their traditional Pad Thai, as well as trying their Spicy Eggplant. I don't recommend the Massaman Curry as it didn't have much curry flavor and the coconut milk they put in basically overpowered the entire dish. Service was good, and ambiance was a modern minimal take. Street parking. If I were to recommend Thai food, I'd probably recommend driving more west towards the San Gabriel Valley area.

Personally, I'm obsessed with the Lamb Shank Massaman Curry and Pad Thai. The curry might be the best in the city. It was kind of funny -- I was already thinking that, and the father of the family next to my brother and me said the same thing to his wife. And the Pad Thai? Super thin, almost angel hair pasta-like noodles. SUPER. GOOD. I've never had anything from here I didn't think was exceptional. And this is definitely the only Thai spot I feel that way about. Only minor knock: I picked up my Pad Thai today through GrubHub and the interaction was a little odd. The owner, I assume, wasn't friendly, and my order wouldn't pull up on GrubHub, which is on me. Service is excellent here and I recommend dining in for optimal dining experience. However, all my leftovers were still fire, as well. I would recommend getting all of these dishes: *~Green Curry Dumpling ($12) - This may be a sleeper hit but the green curry surrounding the steamed veggie dumplings is a nice level of spicy and just makes my mouth watering thinking about this appetizer. *~Crispy Duck Rolls ($14) - They're fresh & feel so refreshing to eat with a few pieces of roasted duck inside and their fresh Thai slaw with some hoisin sauce, all wrapped in rice paper and lettuce, of course. I'm obsessed with this appetizer, as well! *~Pad Thai Meltdown ($22) - This is the most fun spin on pad thai of all time! I'm a basic girl and goodness do I love pad thai. Well their recipe is absolutely delicious ~ but this dish has melted cheese on top, as well! It's not as weird as it sounds, it's actually amazing just making the dish taste more creamy, not really cheesy tasting. My only disappoint was they are supposed to grate & melt the cheese tableside and that didn't happen. I went on a busy lunch though so I'm assuming that's why we didn't get the tableside show! Maybe next time! *~Chef Katt's Special Fried Rice ($18) - If you're going to get a fried rice, this classic Thai one may be the one to get with sweet Thai sausage slices and bacon pieces throughout.
