I frequently go to sweetgreens (1-3 times per week) and I have never left disappointed! The staff is always lively and pleasant and the food is delicious. Everything is fresh, and you can taste it. My go to salad is the kale caesar salad with an added hard boiled egg. You can also order on their mobile app, which is great for when you're in a rush, but beware that if you order through the mobile app the salad is not mixed together so you get a bowl filled when everything for the salad, but it is not mixed up. Took my nephew there for lunch (his recommendation) as a thank you for helping me buy my new computer. It was the first time I was there. And while it reminded me of the way Chipotle serves their food, the menu and service were both beyond what I had anticipated. The line out the door for people waiting to order was kind of a giveaway. There were menu options and make your own options. My nephew decided to make his own, I went off the menu because there were so many items to choose from (both vegetarian and not) and selected the Shroomami, because I love mushrooms, and because I couldn't stop saying "Shroomami." Shroomami. Hehe. The salad was true to its word, a veritable tsunami of mushrooms, kale, rice, beets and more served in what appeared to be a large mixing bowl. It didn't look as nicely arranged as it does on their website, but it wasn't for looking at anyway. I ate the whole thing. My more restrained nephew took home half of his. The salad was excellent but what made it *exceptional* was the miso sesame ginger dressing. Best. Dressing. Ever. I have to say the staff was also exceptional. They were welcoming, friendly and treated me, as a first time visitor, as though I was someone special. Not kidding. Whether part of their training or just good people, my hat is off to them. Hard enough to get good service like that when you have wait staff coming to your table, but at what amounts to upscale cafeteria-style, it's unheard of. Good for you, guys! read more

I'm not a salad type of guy. I prefer meat over it, but with this place, it changed my thoughts on salads. Their veggies look so fresh and pretty. It looks like they wash everything before you order. Everything on the menu sounded delicious. I created a kale, avocado, tomato and corn salad. Boyyy, it tasted so good! Has so much fresh flavor and crunch to every bite. Yesterday was my first time experiencing Sweetgreen. A friend insisted on it after the gym and hyped it up enough that I was willing to attempt to find parking at Lynnfield at the bougie soccer mom mall. 15 minutes and 3 laps around the lot later... Worth it. 100%. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and humored me while I asked a million questions. This location was very tidy and I loved all the big windows to keep it nice and bright. Apart from my wicked tasty salad with roasted squash, the tea selection was on point. I will definitely hit this place up again. Probably more so because this was a great alt to hitting up hippy dippy grocery store's salad bar. Cheaper and just as filling. When I first heard the concept of sweetgreen ("it's like Chipotle, but for salads!"), I was a little skeptical - an entire lunch spot based around just... salads? With practically no other options?!? However, sweetgreen does its salads like no other. These bad boys will fill you right up. They also have a few options for grain bowls if greens aren't really your thing. I typically go with the 'build your own' option, though I've tried a few of their suggested salad offerings as well. Of the available salad bases, I really love the kale + romaine mix, and I always have to splurge and get avocado added to whatever I'm ordering (thankfully, they are very generous with the avocado portoins!). My latest favorite combo to get is kale, romaine, bacon, egg, chicken, avocado, broccoli, sweet corn, apples, and white cheddar cheese, with balsamic dressing. It's the perfect combination of savory, sweet, salty, tart... mmmmmm. I'm sure the calorie count becomes pretty hefty by the time I have them throw all these tasty goodies onto my salad - but I do still come away feeling healthier than if I had just had a burger and fries. The lines can get somewhat long here, but they tend to move right along - I think the most I've waited has been about 10 minutes. They do also offer online ordering if you want to skip the line altogether (but the earliest pick up time you can select on the website is generally 30 minutes out - which is kind of an annoying quirk of the system). My only real complaint here is that the salads are a little pricey (especially if you go crazy with the add-ons, like I sometimes do). My salads usually run in the $12-13 range. But, for a healthy, filling, unique meal, I have no problem treating myself every once in a while to sweetgreen. (Who would have thought that I'd ever consider a salad to be "treating myself"?!?!? My favorite new lunch spot. It must be everyone else's as well because it is always packed. Love the locally sourced ingredients and the easy ordering system. Get the hell up, throw away your refuse, and walk to starbucks if you want to scroll through your facebook page. Be aware and courteous of your surroundings, and look up from your phone because you will need common sense to get through life unscathed. 2) This place is packed so if you put your jackets at an empty table and then go to order in a line 20 people deep you are another selfish brat. That means an empty table is taken up by your ugly jackets for an extra 15/20 minutes while you order as a bunch of patrons stand up eating next to a trash bin and drink fountain. So yeah you're an ignorant A-hole. A person could have eaten and left in the time you took up the table for no reason other than to be a self-important bone head. 3) If you see a pregnant woman, eldery person, or a someone with a baby and YOU are capable of eating standing up. Get the heck up and offer them a seat. Don't avoid eye contact (Mr. Trendy Hippie Jacka**) and pretend you don't see the woman with an infant trying to juggle her meal while you readjust your designer man purse and pretend you don't notice her. Apparently you just want to look cool and pretend you care about the earth by eating at a trendy restaurant that has organic locally sourced produce, recycles, and offers healthy meal options, but you deep down your really just another selfish, ignorant, poser. So delicious and fresh. Instead of doing my usual "make your own" option I decided to go with one of their combinations. Since it was my first time there I wanted to try their flavor profiles out. I got the fish tacos bowl. It is absolutely delicious! I can't wait to go back! I highly recommend it. At $11 I think the price is typical when compaired to the price from a sub shop. However instead of a bowl full of ice burg lettuce there is good quality greens, house made dressings and beautiful fish. They really do seem to take care in making your meal which they do right in front of you. Overall A+! read more

They not only forgot to toss the salad (again) but also forgot to put the sauce in the dish! These 2 star rating is for the people who work on mobile orders on Sundays! UPDATE: this place is a mess when it comes to the staff! Most of them don't even speak English! I ordered on line today 10/10/16 but when I arrived to pick my orders 30 minutes later, the staff said the printer was not out of order or something! So I had to stand there like a fool waiting for my order whereas I could've stood in line and got my order! The woman who proceeded to make my order was in no hurry to do it for me and didn't even say sorry! Update12/1/16: this location has improved a lot! Even though I'm still ambivalent about mobile order... Update 4/9/17 I love this place but I shouldn't come here on Sundays from now on! Huge fan of this place! I was so impressed with this place from the moment I walked in. I ordered the chicken and avocado salad and added corn to it. It has a very chipotle vibe where you watch them make the salad right in front of you as you like it, it was awesome. The finishing touch is they asked if I wanted lime juice which I just figured meant out of a bottle so I said yes because I love lime flavor. I was thrilled to see them grab an entire half a lime and put it into a lime juicer and squeeze it right onto my salad, it was a nice touch! The majority of the products used are locally grown and there is a chalkboard with a list of where certain ingredients are coming from. I got the guacamole greens and the employee scooped out the minuscule crumbs of tortilla chips from the bottom of the tin and then replaced it with a new can of chips which I didn't get any of them which was annoying, I also asked for half romaine in my salad and was given one tong full, and the avocado was turning very brown.
