This location was a disappointment. I preferred a bowl to go and opened it before I left since it was sitting on the counter and not even in a bag ready to go. The chicken portion looked very small so I asked for the manager. I showed him my last order from the Spectrum location and his response was well we measure all our serving and they are all 2.5. He also said well they over portioned it. He was very dismissive and did eventually say he as a one time courtesy, with a big emphasis, he would remake it and I said no and just left annoyed. When we got him I took all the chicken off and weighed it in a food scale and it was 1.6oz!!!! Super disappointed since I had an amazing bowl from the other location. read more

There was a GIANT BLACK HAIR in my salad which almost made me throw up. I have blonde hair the manager who made my salad, Dakota, had black hair. I brought it back in saying I want to be refunded, Dakota offered to make another salad to which I said no absolutely not. She offered no apology about the hair in the salad and responded "it's just a hair"and "things happen" which is gross. The manager didn't seem bothered at all about a hair in a customer's bowl. I commented on how she didn't even offer an apology for this and she began to gaslight me and say that she did. This location needs a new manager because this was my first and last time ever coming to this location. I've never had this experience to the sweet green locations in Los Angeles. So excited to have a salad place nearby!! Love it that they are opened now. I was here on opening day and it was very festive indeed!! They gave out hats if you were early enough and also had a flower vendor where you could make a bouquet. They offered cookies inside and free coffee from their coffee bar. I love their salads but they are a little on the slow side. I would suggest ordering on the app because then it'll be ready for you when you come. I've been back 3x since and it's slow b/c it's 1 worker who does 1 order at a time. So it just depends on the line in front of you. I also so think the price is ok. They charge you extra for everything though which seems a bit much but you don't have to add on. Just be forewarn. You could end up paying $20 for a salad. I love sweetgreen as a chain and I hesitated writing this, but for the fourth time in the last month as a half this location has messed up my order and left one or more things out of my bowl!!! I usually order through an app who will with give me a coupon or discount, even though the error is not their fault. The print out order is in such big font, surely there has to be a solution of checking that each ingredient is added. Maybe go down the list and put a dash or dot next to an item after it's been put into the bowl? I would care less if additional items were not an up charge. read more

(Read on their website) I'm back for the third time now in store and I have to say I'm a fan, HOWEVER, I am not a fan of the first experience going in. It's actually overwhelming even if it's chipotle-style where you can build it yourself or choose from a premade menu and customize it yourself. There's SO many selections and each section has a "premium" item that is an upcharge. There's just so much going on. I haven't tried any of the premade menus, but I've ordered the same of what I created all 3 times now. I ordered a grain+greens bowl with Romaine Lettuce, Quinoa, Portobello Mushrooms (An extra scoop. Their scoops are so small :/) , Cucumbers, Sweet Potatoes, Tomatoes, Onions, almonds, and their green goddess ranch dressing. God the green goddess ranch dressing is so good. Oh yes, and the mushrooms! Their interior design is very modern, clean, and still built in a way that is in line with their values. "We optimize our building materials from construction to furniture, investing in clean energy, and industrial equipment to make a minimal impact. Our restaurants are designed to contribute to a more sustainable future by embodying our values in a tangible way while broadening access to real food across the country." The drinks that are served are okay. I've had their Lemon Lime Ollipop (Yuck) and Green Tea. Green tea was fine. For the RTD&E section I've had their Hu Chocolate Covered Hunks (Cashews+Vanilla Bean) and that one was SO good. Customer service is A+. UPDATE: AVOID USING THE APP! If you use the sweetgreen app to order ahead or get your food delivered (I've had both done) I have noticed how you get way less in comparison to getting in line to order! My delivery was cold (Understandable, it took way longer for it to arrive) but there was BARELY any food in it compared to when I went in to order. Sad bowl. read more

I'm always on the lookout for new and exciting vegan options and when I stumbled across place I was excited to try it. Needless to say my first experience has now turned into my last .... Ordered online for pickup, Spicy tofu was ordered on all three bowls. When arrived at facility @ 6 pm on Saturday (Tustin location closes @ 9) I was told they were out of tofu. They offered to replace tofu with chips or a drink!! What the heck? I requested a refund and was told they we're unable to give me a refund. After a heavy 5 minute discussion was told the tofu would be ready in 10 minutes. I don't understand why they couldn't offer the tofu as ordered instead of arguing that they were out and wouldn't honor a refund... btw, tofu was bland and no spice. I have tried this restaurant 3 times now. I really want to like this place as I love salads. I got the chicken avocado ranch salad the last two times. Unlike some of the other reviews I found the portion too small as the bowl wasn't even filled. Unlike the picture the chicken is actually in small pieces and is minimal. For the price point it makes it expensive for a lot of lettuce. Although I liked it I would hesistate to go back for the value. The last salad though had a lot of raw red onions instead of the kind that comes with the salad which was an undesirable mistake flavor wise for me. I think the place has a lot of potential though so with improvement I could be a fan (i.e. filling the bowl and giving an adequate amount of chicken, not just one spoonful. Also, there needs to be a checklist of some sort so to go orders are prepared correctly with the right ingredients. read more

I love sweetgreen! They always use super fresh ingredients and everything is delicious! However, this store in particular had very mixed service. There was one person I noticed who was so friendly and really did go above and beyond for the customers. However, the girl we got was rude- she really didn't look like she wanted to be there. She mumbled all her questions to us, seemed irritated, and threw our food containers on the counter, entered it into the POS and walked away while we were still paying and never came back. We needed a receipt so the other super friendly guy helped us out and hand wrote it all since the printer wasn't working! 5 stars for him, 1 star for the girl, and 5 for the food. read more

The lettuce in my bowl was old/many pieces were not edible. The sweet potatoes were either incredibly salty or blackened to the point where they also weren't edible.
