    1/2 Turkey Avo Salsa Verde
    KayAnna S.

Another great Mendocino Farms location! With quality food and efficient service, what more could you need? Really easy to order food either to eat in their cafe or to take to go. Although they were busy our food was ready in under 10 minutes! My husband and I ordered the farm club sandwich and the 1/2 turkey avo salsa verde sandwich with spicy curried couscous. My husband enjoyed his farm club sandwich but we both agree that the turkey avo salsa verde was the best! The salsa really adds to the flavor of the sandwich. The spicy curried couscous was fantastic as well. So much flavor for couscous. It's a staple I get every time and happy that this location made it just as delicious as others. Really easy to get in and out for a quick meal!

I love the quality of food & healthy options at Mendocino Farms locations across my local area, and this location inside the Whole Foods at The District at Tustin Legacy on Park Avenue is super convenient to grab a nice bite before shopping for groceries at the Whole Foods. I love the $12 half sandwich & half side combo, it's an awesome value, and my favorite half sandwich so far is the Turkey Avo Salsa Verde, it has some nice mildly spicy elements together with creaminess and a nice lean protein like turkey in a great bread. The staff gets the job done and the vibe is pretty cool with tables inside or outside to choose from.

Unusually small sandwiches, very stingy on the ingredients, comparing to other locations. I added avocado and cheese too

Was a big surprise to find out that this Mendocino Farms is inside a massive Whole Foods. Here's what you need to know when and if you come... The food tastes average but there are several other issues. First, they make it basically impossible to dine in. Everything is served strictly to-go, in a paper bag. No trays, no plates, nothing. You end up sitting at a table in the middle of Whole Foods trying to eat your sandwich like some confused animal. But they sure do ask for tips. Second, this was the stingiest Mendocino Farms sandwich I've ever had. I've been to almost every location in Orange County, and they're usually consistent. But this one barely put any ingredients inside. On top of it I even paid extra for cheese and avocado, which they practically hid under a microscope. Ok flavor, terrible execution. If you want a real Mendocino Farms experience, go to the University Town Center location instead. I've had good experiences there so far. I won't be back to this one.

Chen's Crispy Rice Salad, Baja Green Goddess

Mendocino Farms has quick, healthy salads. The Chen's Crispy Rice Salad, Seasonal GOAT with Summer Peaches, and Baja Green Goddess salads are served in containers that are less filled and some dressing sides are smaller in size. Pick-up order sometimes gets lost or taken. It's located inside Whole Foods and has a bar area with TVs, making it convenient to grab groceries before or after your meal.

Mendocino Farms is one of my go to spots, so of course I got catering from them for my birthday! I got the Medium Sandwich Tray (22 half sandwiches) for $200 -- you're able to pick which sandwiches you want to include, which was nice cause other places have a pre-set one. My favorite sandwiches were the Chimichurri Steak & Bacon and the Chicken Pesto Caprese. I ordered online a few days in advance and I had no issues picking it up. It was ready on time and they also offer a serving set up. If you do go to Mendo here, it's in the Whole Foods grocery store on the right. It also has its own seating area so you can eat there if you'd like.

The Farm Club = tasty and satisfying, without the guilt!
    Laura H.

The Farm Club: 4/5. Delicious sandwich that can become two solid meals. I liked everything in it, from the thick turkey slices to the bacon to the pickled onions. Tasty yet not heavy. My only complaint is that I couldn't really taste the avocado or aoili. I tried a bite of my friend's Basil Pesto Pasta Shells, and it was very feta-forward. Not an issue for me since I like feta, but I was hoping for more of the basil pesto and parmesan flavors. Not sure if this was supposed to be heated up, but we ate it cold haha. Mendocino Farms is located towards the right entrance of Whole Foods Market at The District. Tables are available inside the market and directly outside. My sammich took a while to prepare, as I got it after the people who ordered behind me, but it did seem like they were busy for dinnertime. Our food came out well packaged and labeled for easy pickup.

Wonderful place for a quick to salad fix. This location is in the Whole Foods and they have a nice indoor and outdoor seating area. My favorite is the Mama Chen salad with tofu and miso mustard dressing. That miso mustard dressing is delicious and I frequently buy a side of it just to have and use at home. When offered, the superfood salad also hits. Casual. Plenty of parking. Good service. Please come and create your own adventure.

We recently ordered Mendocino for our office lunch. Their sandwiches are good as usual, but probably better with a bit more protein in the sandwich. The two salads and the curry couscous are also good. Cookies are always very fresh and chewy.

Mendocino farms inside of Whole Foods making it convenient! Prosciutto and chicken sandwich is the best sandwich! It has texture, crunch and flavor all together in one big bite! This sandwich has become my to go! Parking and the crowd was a tad insane on a Saturday but doable.

Only, The Best. My favorite, favorite lunch spot! I am a picky, health conscious person (realtor / yogi), and you just can't go wrong with this place. Super healthy choices, you can modify it however you like, staff are all very nice, genuine people. Has a very cute inviting atmosphere, and love the farmhouse industrial interior. I used to get their Avocado Quinoa salad, but these days I love their limited time salads :) my son loves their grilled cheese sand, chicken Ferraro soup, chicken parm dip sand, and their Not So Fried chicken sand. Husband always gets the Farm Club there as it's very clean, simple, and tasty. You just can't go wrong here, and I've done catering for 80 guests before. They all loved it!

    Small basil pesto shells
    Christina T.

Wanted something quick and healthy for dinner, and Mendocino farms delivered! I got the Golden State Cobb and opted for the Baja goddess dressing instead of the vinaigrette that it came with. The salad itself was fresh and loaded with toppings full of protein and healthy fats like goat cheese, cherry tomatoes, boiled eggs, bacon, pickled onions and some herbs. The balsamic glaze also added a nice touch. I also got a side of basil pesto shells, which were very tasty, but the small size was the size of a Costco sample cup, so I wouldn't opt for this item again. Service was good and the store itself was clean, modern and aesthetic.

Swiss connection is now a whopping $10.5. highway robbery it is. But the bread is still unmatched for pillowy cheweyness (hot will get u a crisped exterior so always go for hot). Carrot n Daikons baguette would be my second for bread but their bread is thin flakey fall apart outside with a more airy pillowy interior. most important. do not say no to the mustard and whatever the other thing they ask if is ok to put in. the LeDIP experience is a whole deal ok. it's all or nothing. just like it should be in normal restaurants ok, like the shirt shoes and pants requirement? all or nothing. if you went to a restaurant without pants, you would not experience the experience as it was intended. take it all or leave empty handed ok? unless you're actually allergic to something. but like are u living if you miss out on the perfect combo of savory and cutting sourness? i acquired an allergy to shrimp and once a year i'll still boiling crab a lb of shrimp and just premedicate on Benadryl hoping i don't die. oh it's so good. god it itches so bad. ah so succulent. whole experience! hot french connection- can i eat this first please? oh my god i don't think i ever appreciated the soft pillowy softness of the baguette in my younger years. the outside crust is the thinnest crisp and yields immediately (unlike Lee's Trashwiches where the stale crust cuts the roof of your mouth). Simple sandwich but sometimes the best things are the simple things. Cold Swiss Connection - the only reason i get it cold is cuz this is my breakfast & lunch for the next day. so no point in melting it prematurely. i honestly can't decide between the two, so i just get both. the difference is Swiss cheese here vs the brie in the french. update-its like 10.5 now cry. and get it hot! i was wrong! it ooooozes Parking - shared with the whole center, plenty. Payment - cash, credit chip 5, or venmo? No Pay unfortunately. Credit chip wouldnt read my card either, took 3 tries, and u need to manually hold it down cuz its not secured so....not really contactless. '26 theyve modernized, apple pay now accepted so yayy. I got there just as the order was predicted to be done, but I ended up waiting another 10 minutes, which was fine for me. It's a sparsely decorated sandwich spot, with a little bit of seating, but it's clear this is a grab-n-go type place. After picking up the sandwiches, I cut both in half and ate half of each. I can't really remember what I got, but that was kind of besides the point anyways. They offer a variety of breads, so I opted for dutch crunch and a regular french roll. The dutch crunch wasn't as good as others I've had from other notable sandwich places, but the french roll was great! I liked the construction of the sandwiches, as they were tightly wrapped and not over-stuffed. Good ratios and not too large as to not be able to wrap your mouth around it. But as for the content itself, I just wasn't blown away. It was perfectly normal, but I didn't feel anything beyond that. As a lunch place, I feel like it's a good option if you want a sandwich, but if you've got something closer to you that is marginally similar, I'd head there first.

I'd rate the Peruvian Steak an 8.5/10. The bread was perfectly toasted, the mustard added just the right amount of kick, and all of the flavors complemented each other well. It would have been a perfect 10/10 if one side of the bottom bun hadn't been completely soggy from the mustard spilling out of the sandwich. I ordered my sandwich to go, so if I had waited until I got home to eat it, I think the entire bottom of the sandwich would have been soggy. That was disappointing. For to-go orders, I think Mendocino Farms should automatically serve the mustard in a separate sauce container to help prevent this issue. My other qualm was with the pickup process. When I received the text that my order was ready, it read: "Your order at Mendocino Farms - 10 - UC Irvine is ready for pickup. Please proceed to the counter." Some restaurants have signs explaining whether customers should grab their to-go orders themselves or wait for a team member to assist them. I waited patiently at the counter for several minutes while a team member saw me standing there but didn't acknowledge me. After about five minutes, I finally asked, "Can I grab my order?" The process felt confusing and could have been communicated more clearly. Overall, I thought the sandwich was delicious and a great portion size. However, I think the to-go process could use some improvement. I ended up eating my sandwich in the restaurant because I could already see the bread becoming soggy when I picked it up, which wasn't part of my original plan.
