Went in expecting a pleasant experience as my parents know the owner. He was the one serving us and could not have been more rude over something so trivial. We have never gone back and never will. Literally THE BEST pastries and sandwiches there are. I am absolutely flabbergasted by the bad reviews. Did we even eat at the same place?! I have been a customer here almost since they opened and I have NEVER had anything I didn't just love. I had no idea how spoiled I was until I moved away from Logan. I have since lived in Ogden and Salt Lake and have desperately tried to find something that compares. Nothing in Ogden comes close, even in the historical district. Nothing in Salt Lake that I have found yet comes close. I even stopped at a resort while in Heber and out of FOUR different types of pastries my husband and I ordered from their 'authentic' European bakery, we only liked one. If I could get Sweetly Divine on speed dial and have them deliver down here, I would do it in a heart beat. The owner is actually from Poland and trained in Europe. I have followed the press for his shop, and from what I have seen, it is all good. I have seen him in local papers, a state magazine...and on national tv at least twice. Those jalapeno jellies ARE amazing. My hubby had to make me try them and I now give them as gifts because they are awesome. Try them on one of the sandwiches they always have freshly made. You can buy a jar to take home in the shop OR online. A certain famous radio/tv personality I happen to be a fan of ALSO loves them and is the reason for the national exposure. But it is well deserved! I love the tarts and the swans. The cheese empanadas are to die for especially if you heat them for 10-15 sec in the microwave. The cannolis...the best I have ever had. My one regret is not being able to try the dill pickle soup everyone raves about. I am sure I sound a little too positive about this place, but when someone gets it right, why not shout it from the roof-tops? I miss Cache Valley, and this little gem one of the top three reasons why! Maybe those who didn't like it should just stick to donuts and coffee. ;) read more

Terrible food. Worse service. The person "guaranteed" I would love the jalapeno jelly on the sandwiches (I had never had a jalapeno jelly I liked so I doubted it). With such a statement, I tried it. It was disgusting. He informed me there was something wrong with me. Refused to give me another sandwich and refused to give back my money. Now I warn away as many people as I can. The pickle soup is really good. I avoid the sandwiches because they insist on using this gross pepper spread that ruins everything it touches. I also really like the cupcakes and pastries. The owner is rude, and very abrasive, which ruins the whole experience. read more

We stopped in VERY quickly for the first time today. We got a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie and an M&M cookie. My toddler loved her M&M cookie and my husband enjoyed his macadamia nut. I wasn't really on the mood for sweets so I didn't get anything....thats bad. I should probably go to the doctor. That's not right at all, not wanting a snack. We went to Gossners for cheese and I caught a glimpse of a lonely jar of habanero jelly on a once full shelf. I grabbed it and wanted it immediately. I thought of how good it would taste on top of cream cheese and wheat thins. I carried my little prized jar of jelly around like a security blanket. I heard someone behind me say, "Aw I should have grabbed it. The jelly is gone." I knew right then I had something special. I felt like Golom from Lord of thr Rings...my preccccioussssss!! I looked at my wanted treasure, resting in my lucky hands and realized it had the Sweetly Divine label. It's called "I'm So Hot Habanero Jelly" and it's amazing!! That was the longest ride home, having to wait to pair it with cream cheese and crackers. I didn't get a snack when we stopped in, but I am SO glad I went all Black Friday on that jar at Gossners and carried it around all greedily so no one could have it. I am so happy of this accidental discovery! We were in and out of there so fast, I didn't notice they had jars of this on their display case. I can't wait for our next drive up north. We will definitely be stopping in for more jelly. I hope to try all of their flavors and hopefully some of their desserts! read more

Desserts are amazing. Great for Lunch too! I like the Salads and Sandwiches. Food is always fresh and delicious. Quiet place you can sit and enjoy with friends or solo. Pulled over to try Sweetly Divine on a whim, and I'm glad I did! I had a craving for something sweet after a day of running errands. As I walked in, the owner walked out from the back and warmly greeted me. I scoped out the pastries, making conversation with the owner. There wasn't many choices, but all of the tarts, chocolate covered strawberries, cookies, etc. were so pretty. You can tell that they are all made with care. I decided on the key lime pie, the owner boxed it up for me. After I had paid, I mentioned it was my first time in and he generously gave me a polish butter cookie on the house, which I enjoyed in the car. The cookie was nicely flavored, a good texture, and it was dipped both white and milk chocolate. I was so excited to eat the pie when I got home. The key lime filling was flavorful, the crust was the perfect thickness with a great flavor, and the whipped topping was so rich and creamy. I will definitely go back! read more

I love the fact that it's Polish. But not your stereotypical Polish restaurant. This place is very much modern and contemporary, eclectic, cosmopolitan, and unique. Their prices are rather expensive though. I only bought a small box of desserts and I spent at least $22. But it might of been because of the crème brulee. On the receipt it doesn't itemize everything and show how much you spent for each item. Overall this place offers a positive dining experience. It's especially a good place for those who have a sweet tooth. Best of all unlike some restaurants it doesn't take a long time. It is cafeteria style and you can just eat here on the run if you have a busy schedule for the day. They sell soups, and sandwiches. Everything on the menu is pretty good. read more

I'm English, and we are serious about cake. We not only make it ourselves, we also go to the local cake shop for pastries that are more troublesome to make at home. I was delighted to find Sweetly Divine. Actually I haven't tried all of Mark's cakes because I find it hard to get beyond the éclairs, lemon squares and macaroons. In addition to magnificent cakes, Mark also makes great soup, sandwiches and salads. His sandwiches are nicely wrapped and are my go-to daypack food when I'm planning a hike or flying somewhere. His soup made me like white clam chowder. Coffee shop prices, but in Sweetly Divine's case, worth every penny. read more

Sweetly Divine is an undiscovered treasure in Cache Valley. The owner is from Poland and went to pastry school in Europe, I understand. The European-style pastries truly are divine--not a clunker in the bunch. All fresh and wonderful. Real whipped cream, fresh fruit, perfect pastry. He also makes his soups from scratch every morning, certain ones each day, but Tuesdays are wild card day, and if you're lucky enough to hit a Tuesday when he makes Polish pickle soup or borscht, you're in heaven. I especially love the borscht. His sandwiches are pre-made every morning and wrapped in plastic. This isn't ideal, but try them--each one has one of his homemade condiments on it that makes them extra-special. You can also buy these condiments, like pineapple-jalapeno chutney, in jars. They are delicious. There are only a few tables in the shop, but lots of people come and take out their lunch. The strip mall location is deceiving for the quality of this place. This polish man's pastries are DIVINE! The only problem I have ever had with this place is when they run out of cannolis.:) I've tried his jalapeno jelly and it is terrific and there are always hard to find specialty flours and and a few other baking ingredients in the cooler. My husband and I will stop in here after dinner and load up on pastries...for the kids. MOST of the time they make it home. We have both been to Europe several times and these pastries are the real deal. read more

This is the best local place to get a sandwich. I was a little skeptical at first about the spreads on the sandwiches but the awesome Polish owner promised it adds a nice pop of flavor. My favorite is the ham or the veggie. I've gone there numerous times since Sweetly Divine has been open and the food never disappoints. I wish the location was closer to downtown Logan but maybe Logan will be lucky enough to get a 2nd Sweetly Divine someday. read more
