Absolutely appalling experience. We stopped here while passing through and walked inside to place an order. Three employees looked directly at us and not a single one acknowledged us, greeted us, or offered to help. One employee even walked past us twice without saying a word. We stood there for at least five minutes feeling completely ignored like we were invisible. I have never experienced service this rude and unprofessional. It takes two seconds to say "we'll be right with you." Instead, we were met with blank stares and zero customer service. We finally walked out in utter disgust. Finally got over here with no wait. The service was amazing. Quick and very friendly. A lot to choose from so I asked for suggestions. The pretzel bites were hot and so soft. You could choose between white cheddar cheese or strawberry cream for your dipping sauce. Tried the Guava Have It, which is Mountain Dew based and it was really good. A hint of coconut made it feel like a drink in paradise. The Dr. De Leche is Dr. Pepper based but sweeter and almost has a coffee taste, surprisingly good. Swig has opened 100 locations and to celebrate they had a $1 drink sale on Saturday. Drinks up to 24 ounces were only $1.00. Limit 2 per person. We arrived at 3:09 pm and were in line until 4:10 pm when we finally ordered our drinks. We received our drinks very quickly once we ordered. Since this was my first time going I ordered the Hula girl and the Riptide. Both are made with Sprite. My husband created his own with Sprite lemonade and raspberry syrup. BUSY! Swig is brand new to the Southside and always busy! So plan accordingly if you're going to try it out for the first time! BUT, the staff is excellent in making sure you're taken care of and keeping the line moving rain or shine! I visited a few times and have loved it! One of the times they had staff members out in the rain handing out free chocolate chip cookies to say thank you for trying it out! They were excellent and I would order them in the future. Another time, the staff was handing out free pumpkin chocolate chip cookies to try as they just came out as part of their seasonal menu. I would recommend to download the app. They have already texted me a few free new items to try out just because I have the app plus you get "points" every time you go which add up. The staff was so friendly, conversational and patient with us while we were trying to figure out what to order off their extensive menu. This is a drive thru only location FYI. I really enjoyed the Riptide - it has Sprite, cranberry, raspberry & lime. Super summery and refreshing. My husband got the Raspberry Dream, which is Dr. Pepper, coconut & raspberry. Also excellent! Great drinks- fun and festive. Highly recommend the Shark Attack! The lobby is currently not open so be prepared to wait in the drive thru line. Despite the super long line, it moved pretty quickly and they have music playing. Once we actually ordered, it only took 2 or so minutes to get our order. The staff were incredibly friendly especially given the volume they were dealing with. We tried the Big Al (Diet Coke with lime and coconut), Happy Camper (root beer with marshmallow), and the Buttery Beer (root beer with butterscotch. I liked the Big Al the most of the three, but I probably wouldn't order it again. I like all 3 flavors separately but not so much together. The good news is they have about a million more options to try. They are drive thru only right now not sure if that'll change once they are fully open so unfortunately I can't really comment on the atmosphere side. However that did present a problem as we had ordered the pretzel bites and paid for them all the to be told at the window that they were out of them and they refused to substitute them for the mini chocolate chip cookies instead they did a refund and then ran a separate transaction for them. I got the riptide which is sprite, cranberry, raspberry puree and fresh lime. It's refreshing and you taste each of the ingredients I would definitely get again I do wish they had Sprite Zero though. Hubby got the Founder with Coke Zero instead of Diet Coke it also has sugar free coconut, fresh lime and coconut cream. It has a very island Caribbean taste to it. It taste like a Cuba Libre without the rum. Chocolate chip mini cookies are really good just a little strange them being very cold. Seems like EVERY time we drive by here there is a line! Finally figured we should see exactly what we were missing.... We ordered a Buttery Beer and Guava Have It, and they both were good. I had seen the Swig sugar cookies and wanted to try them. They have an adult size and a kids size. They come chilled. I prefer mine room temperature and it was good! The lobby is currently not open yet. The line seemed long, but moved along pretty fast!!! As an Arizona native I have had my fair share of experiences with Swigs, so I am very aware with how busy and popular the soda joint is. For a shop (with a surprising lack of menu) that is filled with 15 employees, it is surprising how hard it is to make sodas. The pace at which the eight sodas we ordered and made, you would've thought I asked for them to build Rome in a day. Usually I am very patient and understanding for individuals who work minimum wage in stressful environments such as a joint like Swig or Dutch Bros, but I am almost at a loss of words. After my group placed our orders separately, I placed one more within 30 seconds of the last order. My group and I had set aside 20 minutes in order to make this stop before we needed to get to our meet, I waited for another five minutes for the final drink and asked the register kindly if they were almost done with the last drink as we had all gotten our drinks. They then told me they had not even started on the EXACT SAME DRINK that I had ordered one minute before ordering this one. I gave them another two minutes before we had to leave without the drink. I'm utterly disappointed in my experience. FURTHERMORE 2/8 of our drinks were made incorrectly, but this seems to be this particular shop's specialty, as the MAJORITY of the other patrons in the shop with us had to send back drinks SEVERAL times because they couldn't seem to make a THREE INGREDIENT SODA correctly. With that being said, I would not recommend this particular location to anyone ever. read more

Stopped by this new spot to see what all the hype was about. The service was amazing! We were unsure what drinks to try so the attendant helped explain her favorites and what was most popular. We went with the shark attack (blue drink) and a mango one. The kids really liked them but I have to pass: they are way too sweet for me. Think koolaid and slushie had a child haha Some of the drinks came with a gummy too! They have cookies and other items too but we didn't try them. Visiting the area for work, I was so confused when I saw an incredibly long drive thru line weaving thru the parking lot. I then realized this was a grand opening for Swig so you know I had to get right on in line to try something new! The wait was about 10-15 mins but moved fairly quickly. They were not supplied with certain ingredients so my first choice of the Dragon Dew was declined. My second choice was Riptide. It reminded me 100% of Cranberry 7UP which I love. There are a million choices as well as the option to create your own drink flavors. There were some snack items like cookies and pretzels on the menu but it seems like it's mostly a beverage spot. The food and drinks here are so good! I'm not sure if you can go inside or if it's just a drive through place because they just opened up by me. The line for the drive though was pretty long but they kept it moving pretty fast and we also used up all that time to decide what we wanted so it felt pretty quick! Service was amazing I'm not sure who helped us but she had bright pink hair and was so sweet and answered all of my questions. Since it was a drive through there's not much to say about the ambiance but everyone seemed pretty happy and positive even though it was freezing outside.
