    Sausage pizza

We stopped in on Mother's Day and they brought out a rose for my mom at the end of the meal. So sweet! Both the host and server were super friendly. We tried the pizza stuffed pretzel as an appetizer. It was covered in cheese and looked so good. I got a burger and baked beans for my meal which was fine. I looked around noticed that most people were eating pizza so that's probably what I'll go with next time.

Hands-down, the best pizza in the Greenwood area! This photo says it all! My grandson was so excited when this huge pizza was brought to the table. Service is always fast and friendly, the pizza is amazing, made in a wood burning stove in the front!

My husband is on a search for the perfect pizza so we had to stop in for the wood-fired pizza. This is the best crust we have found so far. Thin and crisp with a little bit of char. The sausage and cheese has great flavor and the cheese is legit. Service was great. Good local beer selection. This is our new favorite spot when we travel to Indianapolis.

My beautiful wife & I needed some lunch so we decided to hit Main St. Grille since we haven't been there in a long time. Suffice to say we weren't disappointed at all! We seated ourselves & met our waitress Halley who did an awesome job covering several tables on addition to ours. We started with warm pretzels & cheese sauce ( sorry no pictures). We both thought they & the cheese was very tasty. My wife had the tenderloin & Cole slaw. She thought both were very good & definitely done there. My pizza was a very good wood fired creation. The sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms & extra cheese melded together well. Overall a great visit. We will be back soon!

We were greeted immediately after entering the restaurant. It was a very busy Saturday, but we quickly had drinks and menus. This place has a family friendly sports bar vibe with a very friendly staff. They have a wood pizza oven that I really need to try. My kids had cheese burgers that they really enjoyed. I had a BBQ Angus Burger with pulled pork, BBQ sauce and onion straws. Plus the burger had legit real thick bacon. It was all very good.

Upon arrival notice the sign on the inside door that says "Please Seat Yourself." I elected to sit at the empty eight seat full bar in the back. There is also outdoor seating available. They do have what looks like a very nice pizza oven available just inside the main door. And there are plenty of screens tuned into a variety of sports with one of the largest screens right above the server's station between the pizza oven and entrance to the restrooms. The bar sign advertises they have Local Craft Drafts on hand. I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak minus the mushrooms which comes with a cup of Au Jus on the side. I also ordered the Potato Salad as my side. Both were exactly as I wished for and expected. The sandwich was hot with plenty of well cooked steak meat and plenty of melted cheese on a fresh bread bun. The potato salad was equally excellent. It was just like your grandmother's recipe. The service was excellent, prompt attention throughout the meal plus quick delivery of the food. This places seems to be very popular. But there were a few tables available at the height of the lunch hour.

Main Street Grille is a Southside staple. It is locally owned and operated. It's right off 65 and has plenty of parking. If you don't find parking in the front, there is overflow parking in the back. They have their own wood fired oven for pizzas. My go-to orders would be: fried ravioli, pretzel breadsticks, kickin' shrimp, jalapeño popper pizza, chicken wings, pulled pork platter, or the patty melt. The service is usually very good. The owner is always walking around to make sure everything is running smoothly. We love coming here and I would definitely recommend trying it out.

I finally made it here and it was worth the wait. The restaurant has dining area, bar and patio seating. The bar is a full service bar. They have an extensive menu that includes salads, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, phillys and wings to name a few of their items. The run daily drink and food specials, most notable $2 Tuesday and Thursday where they have $2 beers. There is a decent sized private parking lot there for you to park your vehicle. You will see chopped wood outside the restaurant for the wood stove that you will see when you first walk in. It had the place smelling real good. That is the oven they cook their pizzas in. It is probably not one of its intended uses, but it really put off some good heat. The bar and dining area have televisions where you can watch sports on.The staff there is very friendly and attentive. I never had to ask to get my drink refilled. My server had another drink at my table at the same time I was finishing the one I was working on. After sorting through the menu, I decided to go with the the chicken parmesan sandwich with fries. It did not take a lot of time for me to get my meal. I would say about 8 minutes or so and I was going to town. The chicken breast was huge. It dwarfed the bread. It was very flavorful and delicious. I am still thinking about it as I am writing this review. It was also very filling. It was the only meal that I needed that day. This is a very nice joint to get a drink and a bite to eat. They have quality service and delicious food. I highly recommend checking this joint out. You will not be disappointed.

They had the door open, which was letting in the fresh almost-spring air.) Drinks are pretty much all they have at Snug, to be honest. Don't visit thinking you're going to find a meal, because they don't have a lot of food beyond locally made hand pies and empanadas, a grazing board, and something called Snug Nuts. (Which brings to mind certain ... images.) I didn't get any food, just a Road & Coke, which is a whiskey with a Coke and lime, similar to a Cuba libre, although a Cuba uses rum. It was delicious, but a little light on the booze. It was only $5 and change, though, so it's kind of like what do you expect, really. It was a nice drink to sip slowly while I sat in the small, cozy bar. Speaking of bar aesthetics: Snug lives up to its name. It's tiny and dark but inviting. It feels like stepping into a hug. A hug that can also provide you with copious amounts of Irish whiskey, which sounds like the best kind of hug, to me.

The bar felt like a fun neighborhood bar with everyone knowing each other. Today at lunch, the crowd was mostly older, 55+, with younger patrons entering ( around 2:00 p.m.) as we dined. As you enter, you walk directly in front of the bar. A half-wall separates the bar from the 2 - and 4-top tables plus high-tops. The game area is in the back of the bar with pool tables, dart boards, and a jukebox with all tall-top tables or standing bar ledges in the back. The menu offers the standard pub options with a nice selection of appetizers, burgers, tenderloins, sandwiches, salads, and dinner options. Today's lunch special was a chicken fettuccine ($10.99) or shrimp Fettuccine ($1 upcharge for shrimp) served with garlic toast. The Shrimp and Broccoli Fettuccine was a large serving and very tasty, but I had to take most of it home. The bartender/server could not have been nicer, super efficient, and made me feel very welcome. She covered the entire restaurant and didn't miss a beat. I definitely would stop back in when I'm in the area. It's fun to be in a neighborhood bar where friends hang out together.

The organization has also asked me not to abut Shelby Street Tavern's reply to my review on Google, and I have grudgingly agreed. However, the post stays. I will notate my deception, and will also remove the needlessly rude section at the end, but the rest stands. ORIGINAL POST, EDITED AS EXPLAINED ABOVE: This is honestly a great bar, mostly, hence the 5-stars for Food, Service, and Atmosphere. I was initially glad my organization [NOTE: THIS IS A LIE, SEE ABOVE] chose to patronize this place. But that appreciation ended last night when bar management decided that keeping things quiet was more important than dealing with an assault and battery that happened at the bar. If the genders and races in the situation had been reversed, my friend would still be in jail right now, while the harasser in this situation got to finish out their night feeling good about getting away with what they've done. Someone reserving your bar for an event does not magically get the right to assault and batter someone. Never mind that the person doing the A&B has a history of harassing the person they chased out of the bar... [NOTE: FINAL PARAGRAPH REMOVED FOR BEING UNNECESSARILY RUDE]
