While traveling through Utah thought we would try the hype of dirty soda. I honestly will say not really impressed that much the add on to the soda wasn't even enough to change the fact that it tasted like regular Dr Pepper and nothing more. The drinks are fine, but the facility appears to prioritize vehicle throughput at the expense of accessibility and community engagement. This location operates primarily as a drive-thru with no customer lobby or indoor gathering space, creating an environment that excludes pedestrians, cyclists, and others who may not arrive by car. In a city that promotes active transportation and outdoor recreation, it is unfortunate to see a business model that effectively discourages walking and biking. The lack of accommodations for cyclists is particularly disappointing given the popularity of cycling in the Ogden area. Businesses that provide bike racks, pedestrian access, and welcoming public spaces contribute positively to both the community and the local economy. This location does little to support those goals. From an environmental perspective, encouraging customers to idle in vehicle lines rather than arrive on foot or by bicycle feels out of step with modern sustainability efforts. The design prioritizes convenience for drivers while overlooking opportunities to create a more inclusive and environmentally responsible customer experience. Had such a great experience here for my first visit! I usually go to Fizz, but a friend convinced me to give Swig a try -- and I'm glad I did. The workers were so sweet and quick, and my drink was spot-on. I came during off-peak hours, so there was almost no wait. I love the variety of soda mix-ins they have, but my absolute favorite items are their Refreshers. No other soda shop does flavored waters like Swig, and the blended option takes them to the next level! The ambiance was nice. This time I tried a few drinks with Dr. Pepper mixes, plus my usual go-tos -- the Strawberry Breeze and Frozen Hot Chocolate -- and everything was delicious. I also ordered a pretzel and 4 peppermint whoopie pies, and it only took about five minutes for everything to be ready. Everything tasted amazing and is totally worthy of five stars! read more

Swig will forever be my favorite soda shop. Everywhere else is mediocre at best. I haven't been to a single swig that doesn't make a good soda. Wait times per location are definitely not as consistent but this location is always quick. Never had an issue. read more

This swig has single handedly supported my Coke Zero addiction since its opening a few weeks ago. Compared to other soda places around, they are the best of the best. Their sodas are always nicely carbonated. Staff is quick, friendly, and willing to give soda suggestions. They've gone above and beyond customer service wise. I love their sugar cookies, but for anyone in corporate reading, I do miss the original recipe that was doughier. Will that make me stop buying their delicious frosted sugar cookies along side my beverage? No. Just a pipe dream I thought I would pitch. If you need a drink suggestion, my favorite is Coke Zero with Coconut Cream and a splash of cranberry or raspberry. Fair warning, it's addicting, and you will be hooked. ‍ Happy swigging! read more

The swig in ogden is my favorite swig! Always super fast, the employees are very kind and give great suggestions when I'm wanting to try a new drink. I've been a frequent customer of Swig as a whole for a few years and I've yet to be disappointed by their work. Their employees at their Ogden location are all very sweet, kind and on top of it. As a connoisseur of Diet Coke, I'm a huge appreciator of the way they make my drink. I think the cost is too high for what it is but who doesn't? However my main gripe is the treatment of employees. It is practice that employees meet the cars outside instead of letting cars drive up to the window to order. It cuts down on time which is nice, but the benefit outweighs the cost in inclement weather. There is no need that a teenager needs to be standing outside to take orders when there is a current heat warning across the state. The UV index today (June 24th) was 9, the temp at 5:00pm was 98. Technically that would constitute as hazard pay. OSHA regulates that working conditions are kept at 68-78 degrees. On average it can take the human body an hour to cool down to baseline temperature after being overheated. Even if workers are ducking back inside (that is under the assumption that inside is properly air conditioned) in between orders, there is still a risk for heat exhaustion and even brain damage. Personally I'm willing to wait if it means that workers are kept safe. read more

In the past this Swig location made the best Dirty Dr Peppers but lately they have been horrible. The last few times I have visited this location the drinks have been completely flat. When I've asked about the issue I've been told that I'm crazy because no one ever complains about the drinks being flat. Today I was told that my wife and I are the only two people who have ever complained about the Dr Pepper being flat and that it is an issue with us and not an issue with the drink itself. Very disappointed in the way we were treated today because I used to love getting a drink from Swig but I won't continue to go there if the employees are just going to tell me I'm crazy and not accept the fact there is an issue with their drink. read more
