I am a swimline customer for many many years. I have bought their slides/ to volleyball pool net, to now the cooljam pro basketball. I have the cool jam pro basketball. It rusted after only one summer and Kim jacobson and today Dave ( whose a manager) think that is normal. Please look at the photos below- i have a fisher price one for 3 years w no rust. Dave who is the CEO is extremely rude comparing my basketball of 1 year to the rust on his boat, which is quite offensive. He wants me to scrub off the rust a mother, Which i already tried it did not work. Instead of finding a solution for me he has made me more frustrated. I recommend this company "Swimline" in New York for all your swimming pool toys, floating lounge chairs and designer rafts for the water too. Check out their website for their Food-ish raft styles! I also attached some photos of them. My favorite local pool store, Sunny's stocks their line of products as well. Then I bought a 2nd chair this year in May 2021. Great quality and material that the chair is made of. Back in May 2020 I ordered my 1st lounge chair from their website ( Early September Birthday present) since my local and favorite pool store Sunny's did not have any in stock due to COVID-19 and lack of incoming delivery trucks. Not a problem since Swimline had many in stock and shipped my chair free being a first time customer with them and a favorite customer of Sunny's! :-) I was told that the chair would be shipped United Parcel with a delivery time of 7-10 days. I was pleased to track my box and was happy on the 5th day for it to arrive in great condition from shipping plus in time to enjoy the chair on Memorial Day weekend in my Kayak swimming pool. This company is a joke. Everyone in that company is a shyster of some type. Two years ago in 2023 we purchased a liner from a local pool supplier & we had it installed.. Total cost for both was approximately $1650. We noticed right away our pool was losing water. We thought it was the lights or perhaps a leak in the return area, turns out it was neither of those because when we closed that season and reopened up last summer, our pool was more than halfway emptied. So we replaced the water and call the local dealer and they told us we had to deal with Swimline directly as they were the warranty company and manufacturer.. Fast-forward; Kim, Jacobson, who is supposedly the warranty representative for liners, is completely rude, unprofessional and unknowledgeable, and like I said; a shyster!! That WHOLE office/famiky/company are crooks! I have supplied every piece of information and documents that they wanted for their "warranty" they told me I would have to pay 30% to them for a replacement liner. (Which if you buy it on your own, it's the same price so they're basically selling you a new liner and telling you it's under warranty!). Once you agree, they drop all correspondence with you, they do not send you any information on how to proceed, they don't return phone calls, they don't reply to numerous emails -and now you're stuck with a poorly manufactured liner and unable to proceed further or get a replacement. The company, which boasts being " family owned and operated since 1971" should be ashamed of themselves. There are nothing but crooked thieves who continue to screw people out of their money.! Buyer beware! If anytime you're purchasing from a retailer please ask them where their supplies from! If it comes from Swimline; STAY AWAY!! my next move will be to report them to the Better Business Bureau and consumer affairs of New York!!! read more

Absolutely horrible service. I bought a sandfilter pump and after a week the motor died. I first reached out to Spreetail which is apparently who shipped me the pump via Amazon. They said it was past the 30 day and I had to reach out to Swimline, after videos, pictures and redundant explanations of what my pump is doing, Kim who is the contact I was given said that I need to go back through Spreetail. Wow, weird pattern with this business. Either great or horrible. Unfortunately I got the horrible. I lost the Skeg on a friends paddleboard and was working to replace it. The manufacturer connected me to Swimline. I gave them all the details of the board, in writing twice, and again on the phone and was directed to a replacement part. I then called again to double confirm so there could be no mistake. Kim J. even put me in hold to double check and confirmed I was ordering the right part. It arrived, and was wrong. I called back and was directed to Kieran G. He acknowledged it was wrong and offered to send me two of the correct ones, which were 1/2 the price of the one I was originally sold. I told him that I would prefer to receive one correct replacement part and a half of my money back for the wrong skeg. I also offered to send the wrong part back to them. He replied that it was my fault that I ordered the wrong Scagg and that he was going to send me two of the correct ones and we were going to "call it a day". Just incredibly rude over a small refund for a company error. I let him know that it was not my error and that I would appreciate him fulfilling my request as it was the same dollar value of his proposal. He did not even bother to reply. I also emailed Kim P and she did not bother to reply either. As a previous business owner I feel badly for the owner of this business because his staff, that he is paying to help, are being really rude, damaging his brand, losing him customers and money. I do not recommend swimline. I purchased a pool liner on may 19th and the packaging was damaged and the liner didn't fit. I spoke to a representative to return my liner. I had to purchase a new box and pay $150.00 to ship back. I shipped my return on 6/3. My calls inquiring my return and refund of $640 went unreturned until 9/3. I finally received an email stating that i was ineligible of a refund due to the liner being returned over 30 days and not in its original packaging. This matter still is unresolved and I will have to make it into a legal matter. I will never purchase from swimline again nor recommend them read more

I purchased an above ground pool and Swimline manufactured the liner. The liner had a two inch gap in the seam (it was not sealed properly) Not knowing this (pool company installed liner) until about the pool had over 4000 gallons of water in it. Need less to say all the water flooded my backyard and did some damage, I outreached to Swimline to advised what they were going to do about the situation. All i got was we send you a new liner but it will take 4-6 weeks. Kim the customer service rep was absolutely no help and rude!! I asked for a manager to contact me 3 times and she refused. After the 4th time she said she outreached to manager and it has been almost 2 weeks with no response. I am sorry but if you put out a defective product, be responsible and make it right. we bought a new a new Swimline pool liner (32'x16') from a local pool distributor back in March. it was installed by a professional pool liner installer. We got to enjoy the pool for 5) days before the lower seam opened up, whereby, we lost 17,000 gallons in about an hour. it is very apparent to us that the section that blew out was due to a poor manufacturing problem. unfortunately, because of this quality issue, we are out approximately $1,800. (labor to install, water and ground damage). if you read their small warranty stipulations, it's very clear, that they DO-NOT want to be liable for anything, but to replace the liners. please be aware; in order to avoid what we experienced, you need to purchase a good quality liner. don't be disappointed in purchasing a Swimline liner, like us. clearly, they are not standing behind their product! john R read more

I made the mistake of purchasing a pool chair from this company. It came with a defective piece. I called and they said they would send a replacement. 8 days later I called back and was told it was shipped "yesterday"- which was a full week after my call. I asked why they waited and was scolded by the woman on the phone. She acted like I was impatient for thinking a week was too long. Buyer Beware! If you have a warranty problem, they follow everything to the letter, no wiggle room or taking your issue case by case. We purchased a replacement liner thru our local pool store. We had it installed, and within 4 days it was losing water. We had to drain our newly filled pool to locate the leak. Then we had to cut the section with the hole (fortunately it was seam failure) and send it off to Swimline. We waited almost three weeks for our replacement liner. No contact from customer service to let us know our claim was being processed. When I sent my section of liner, I also included copies of the invoices for installation and water delivery, hoping that maybe they could see clear to help defray some of the cost. No response. Then I emailed David Scwartz at Swimline pleading my case. No response. I finally reached him by phone today. In his eyes, he's a hero, they did replace my liner after all. I realize on the warranty that it states they only cover seam failure, they are not responsible for any other expenses. Considering the fact we never even got in our pool, that quality control missed this seam failure, it was extremely distressing that they will not work with you. My husband and I are senior citizens, on a fixed income. To say the least, the added expense has created a bit of a hardship. If you need a replacement pool liner, do your homework! There are companies with much better warranty's. To be sure, I will scrutinize any pool products that I need in the future to be sure they are not Swimline products. read more

Hello FB friends. My 2 month old liner has pin holes in it and I was told that the manufacturer was swimline. I spoke with a representative at swimline and was informed that they only cover rips in the seams. I took down an old pool and replaced it with a brand new pool, new walls, liner, filter and pump and have used it for the past two months only to be told, sorry we don't cover pinholes. NEVER NEVER buy any SWIMLINE product. This company is very rude and difficult to deal with in their warranty department (referring to KIM J) I was sent from walmart. Com a Sunchaser floating chair for Mother's Day from my son. 1 month later when our swim Season finally arrived, I assembled it. During initial assembly, the mesh chair was too small for the frame and spilt immediately while placing over frame. I reached out to swimline to explain situation and thinking they would own their manufacturing error and poor quality control and send out a replacement with the correct mesh covering. I was told by Kim in warranty that she needs photos and detailed receipt to replace the defective part. I explained that it was a gift but I could send photos of new product, box, directions, ect. and cc statement proof of purchase. (Being a gift, I was trying to handle without my son being disappointed he sent flawed product.) Kim J was very rude and said anyone could have the product and the box. (Why?) Long story short, she was very satisfied that I will need to return to walmart and get another one without her involvement. I will take it back to walmart, but I will replace it with another manufacturing product line. I would never trust that the next product will be quality and I will not repeat the frustration that thas company creates. (Especially Kim). I purchased a pool fountain from them. Their customer service response is the poorest I've ever experienced. You have to search the Internet in order to find an email or telephone number. Neither is listed on their documentation. When I called to tell them of an issue I'm having they said it was my fault because I tightened the pool slipnut to tight. After calling Swimline. I will never buy another product from them. We purchased 2 summers ago the blue and white sun chasers. We payed $159. Each for the items. (Thinking paying a little more they would last longer that the blow up floats and appeared to be more durable for more than a couple of summers) When we got home we took one back because the webbing was already ripped. (Coming apart at seams) Our pool place replace it with a new one. By the spring last year we went to order new seat covers because the sun , chlorine had eaten the webbing up. We didn't think nothing of reordering the seat covers or mind paying for them. When we went to the pool store the owner actually felt that they should not have dry rotted so fast ( 8 months)so she warranty then and got us new ones that we were even willing to pay. We are aware that we were going to have to replace every season not a big deal. Yesterday when we came out to the pool my husband and I were getting into chairs and one of the pvc brackets broke that hold it together. So we were quite disappointed. I decided to call the company and let them know. Kim J answered the phone I explained to her the problem we had with the broken chair. I told her that you assume to replace the covers but assume you will never have to replace the lounge part and wanted to know if that part was warranty she informed me that they was 0 warranty after 1 year then she continues to informed me how that we were too rowdy on the floats. (We are in our 50's). I then even ask her it I could buy the broken piece.
