Well last year's amazing service was no fluke. These guys are the real deal. Called to let us know when they'd be arriving, opened pool and cleaned up. Jon and David were easy to talk to , eager to please and showed real pride in doing an awesome job. It really says something about Leslie's as a company when the employees go above and beyond what is just required to do a job. Jon and David really made sure we understood our next steps and what to expect with the pool. Those extra few minutes they took to provide great customer service makes all the difference. Great company, great customer service and a great job. Opening and closing a pool is a stressful thing. Well it used to be until I discovered Leslie's. I had been dealing with another company and on the phone they always said "Don't worry" but in person it was "We don't do that." After another bad opening experience I took my water to Leslie's to be tested, for free. The only thing I needed to do was run the filter and get the salt level lower. They said to bring a sample in again a week later and sure enough everything was perfect. I scheduled a closing for October and the team showed up as scheduled, big smiles and ready to help. They put both the leaf cover and regular cover on. Explained everything they were doing and noted the account for the things we would need to open pool next summer. They insisted on storing the pump, filter and accessories for me. I didn't have to lift a finger. The team today, Jack and David, were awesome. They were professional, friendly and extremely customer service oriented. Josh in the Patchogue store is always ready to help out and give honest advice. I recommend Leslie's wholeheartedly.

The filter was defective and he replaced it with a cheaper traditional filter and did not refund the difference. The pump worked overtime causing it to fail and I had to purchase a new pump. He then charged me $579 to clean the debris in the the pool. I tried phoning and texting over ten times and no one returned my calls. Then without my permission he billed my credit card the $579.00 which I have turned over to Consumer affairs. Shoddy work. Failing to communicate. Beware Joel B.

Ed lives only 1.2 mile down the road from my house and at the time had very good reviews listed. Ed came over the house to view pool and take measurements and discuss issues with me on 06/17/25. Ed stated he will be back with his contractor to look at and size deck! Did not hear back so I sent email on 06/20. No reply so I called and left message on 06/22 asking if he is still interested in the job. Now it is 06/29 and Ed never called or email back. Ed seemed very nice, knowledgeable and personable when he was at the house, so why he could not return a call or email to give me an update is beyond me. Maybe the job was too big, but if that was the case he could have been honest and just let me know. Either way he never contacted me back, so I am guessing!
