I've been wanting to stay here for a while and I would see this on the way to Anacortes and back! My buddy and I stayed for one night here. It's a beautiful property! Over looking the horizon and water. We checked in no problem! They gave us a couple of handouts for the map of the property and restaurants. We are glad the casino is non-smoking -- this made the experience enjoyable to walk through! They do have a specific area for smoking which can be accessed through automatic sliding doors which shut together so the smoke is self-contained. Since they're also a lodge, I had a room with the view and it was amazing getting up at sunrise! The king bed was comfortable and not lumpy. Unfortunately, I didn't sleep well that night (reasons of my own - was too excited for the next day and/or mind was racing) but I could hear either the HVAC or a part of where I was staying where the noise crept up like an airplane every 10 mins or so which made it difficult to sleep. The lamps had the really dim yellow lights which made it hard to read so I had to turn on both lamps to be able to read. The room was spacious though and the shower was marvelous! I'd give it 3.5 but rounded it to 4 since most of my experience here as first timer was minor. Everything here, including the casino and restaurant were great! read more

What a beautiful and impactful resting posts during my 40th birthday trip of a lifetime! Swinomish Casino is one of my new favorite destinations where I could enjoy reconnecting with my surroundings all the while enjoying the pleasures of good food, drink and people! After an entire day of exploration it was comforting and exciting to know I had this beautiful spot to come back, unwind and enjoy! Some establishments have schedules and hours posted so be sure to check as I am sad to say I missed the Easter drink special- a drink in a chocolate bunny!!! It's only Friday and Saturday I go for their prime rib. Reasonable price and cook to my standards. Service is good and ambience is great.

There's a Fatburger in the casino, so that's a huge plus. The casino is very clean, staff is very friendly and there are lots of options for game play. Looking forward to returning to checkout the events they have going on throughout the Summer. read more

Everybody here is always so nice and helpful. There's several different restaurants to eat at, from pizza to burgers to a café and bar. Lots of slots and table games to choose from. They run quite a few promos of free play and other giveaways and hot seats too. read more

I and my fiance have stayed here multiple times and has always been our favorite hotel. We both got a room and I gave my room to his daughter and son in law. Then I went downstairs to play and I forgot my room key. I went to get a new one, and front desk wouldn't give me one since my name wasn't on the reservation. Even though he could have looked at past reservations and seen my name, the front desk graveyard guy didn't do it. I couldn't wake up my fiance and I told the front desk that sonce he snores and the TV was on, so I spent the night in the lobby. Had the front desk did their job and added my name like they have done EVERYTIME we stay there. read more

Visted on a Saturday afternoon, and the ambiance was quiet and chill. Casino is nothing fancy or glitz, and it seems like a place for locals yo come and chill. Clean establishment and no smoking. Game machines are generally current, and I didn't notice any newer or unique ones on display. Payouts are CHEAP and so low-it's a joke. I was betting $3.50+ and if I was lucky yo get a bonus, it paid out 3-5x my bet (obviously I'm aiming for 100x but in general, I'd expect at least 10x). I dont mind losing money if im having fun; however, my experience was anything but. If you're willing to go another 30 minutes north or south, there's the Skagit Valley and Angel of the wind. read more

This casino is located off of Highway 20. They offer the usual selection of casino slots and table games. They get two stars because 1) food is terrible at this place, worse than the other casinos around and 2) their slots are very tight from experience. Great breakfast! The Eggs Benedict was very good, it looked a bit odd as one side had a lot of ham the other a small piece. The hollandaise sauce was really good and the ham had a bit of sweetness. My scramble was excellent. Didn't look pretty, but was super flavorful. Plenty of salty smoky bacon pieces and lots of spinach. The small cubes tomatoes added a nice touch of brightness and the melted Swiss cheese was perfect. My favorite part was that it was hot, not warm, hot! The hash browns could have been cooked a little more crispy for me and the toast was not toasted. The hot delicious scramble made up for that. Slot machine payouts are horrible. They want you to pay a huge amount to max out your bets on the slots to the point I doubt anyone would want to put 250 pennies in a penny machine for one play. The odds are minimum 65% payback. Where Nevada is 82% payback unless they changed it. Some slots in Reno pay 95% payback. They too have jacked up the high coin in to make a play. It was nice when it was 5 coin and play. The jackpots are supposed to pay once every time the machine is paid three times the jackpot. WE tried the RV parking. We saw lots of empty slots during the week We were exhausted from the Oregon trip north. They offered the over flow. WE parked somewhere else and used our Jet Ski to do the Casino. About 30 slots were sill open and when we left at 4am broke....the slots were still open. Jet ski was high and dry so we had to drag it to water through the sand. That really made us tired. Ya, Nice looking casino. But nothing really to brag about. Not much Native items to look at. Really would like to have old native foods to try out and brag about ....Hey....I ate a 300 year old recipe. Firework stands along the side during the 4th. Boy the prices were stupid high and the sweat inside the packs shows it was last years stuff stuck in a container getting all damp. My sky rockets were great. Out of 144 there was 34 that didnt go up. We bought a huge thing of artillery shells and the display was half the size it was supposed to be and some fuses went out in the canister. So we had 15 left over to take apart one day. The pin wheels....went around till the next fuse burned out before the other. Then lighting it up might would have worked. We bought the floating lanterns. Those were awesome. But the price was stupid 10$. But it was fun with sky rockets shooting at it. Kinda like a pin ball game till the rocket blew a hole in the side and it dropped fast. New years fireworks were just as bad. I think I will stick with Shelton Firework stands. read more

Got a comp room and requested a bay view room a MONTH in advance . Made reservations a MONTH in advance. Checked in and to my disappointment it's a horrible view the roofline covered in rocks!!!! This was a special occasion birthday and all I really wanted was to enjoy a waterfront view.... Desk help was rude and absolutely no help. They did not offer anything to help remedy the situation. Our friends and us were treated extremely poorly !!! We've spent the last 8 thanksgivings there camping in the RV park. Our friends tried to get a table in the sports bar for 12 people snd the waitresses were rude and would not seat them. Then they were asked to leave - which they did. 24 hours later our friends were asked to leave the property. It was complete bullsh*t !!!!! This is a PSA to not frequent this casino. Went to eat at Carvers and I'd have to say tonight was really bad. Wasn't busy and it was 10 mins before we saw our waitress. Order our food and a hot tea. Waitress brought tea and then disappeared, had to find someone to bring a spoon. They first tried to give our food to the booth next to us but it wasn't what they ordered (they were there before us) the salad and soup came out with the entree. By the time we were done with our soup & salad our prime rib was cold as were the mashed potato. It's suppose to come with mixed vegetables well we were lucky there were vegetables on the plate. My husband had 2 small broccoli and a slice of zucchini and I have 4 broccoli which were hard and cold. Prime rib was good, just cold. Never saw the waitress till we put our cards on the table to leave. As we were leaving the booth next to us finally got their order. read more

A group of us stopped into this casino to play some games and watch the Apple Cup. Ample parking is available. This casino is very small and extremely smoky. On the night of our visit, several games were being serviced. We watched the football game in the 10 Sports Bar & Lounge. An abundant amount of flat-screen TVs are displayed throughout. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Tabs were easily split. Reservations are not accepted. Happy Hour is not offered. Very few craft beers are offered in this lounge. My wife had a Mac & Jack and I had a Port Townsend IPA for $4.50 each. Glasses of Cab were $4. For starters we shared the Smoked Chicken Quesadilla for $7: cheddar cheese, pepper Jack cheese, bacon, pico de gallo, avocado and lime crema. The filling was cold so it was a bit disappointing. For our meal, we shared the Batters Up Fish Sandwich for $14: beer battered halibut, American cheese, shredded lettuce and tartar sauce on grilled sourdough bread. We chose the french fries as our side. Our sandwich was also served with half a dill pickle spear. We were both satisfied with our meal choice. Overall, Swinomish casino was meh. Nice hotel/casino with easy access to other parts of WA. Would rate higher but they don't offer any breakfast or coffee (there is a separate drive through coffee hut along their parking lot) and they were in the middle of updating their heating/cooling as of 4/23. They have 1 restaurant inside and the casino is attached; however no bags are allowed so be mindful when arriving as we had to exit the building and walk around. read more

Just returned from a weekend in Anacortes, where we stayed at the Swinomish Casino And Lodge. Check-in was easy and quick. The room which was a double queen with a Bayview was large. I love the walk-in shower. They were plenty of outlets to charge our devices. Parking is free and plentiful for this time of year. I'm not sure what it's like in the summer. The location is great as it's a reasonable distance to downtown Anacortes. We had breakfast and downtown each morning. There is also a store and cultural center next-door to the casino. It's a better drive than a place you can walk to. The best compliment I can give them is that everything was clean. There is a Fat Burger in the casino, which I enjoyed. I didn't know they served vegan shakes which is awesome for anyone who is lactose intolerant. read more

We stayed at the hotel a three weeks ago and had a very nice room. I reviewed it. Also we ate at 13 Moons and I reviewed that as well. We also gambled at the casino. I personally am not a gambler but the Mrs dabbles. She stayed with slot machines this time. I have to say since I don't gamble I take in my surroundings. I have come to the conclusion the slot machines are TIGHT just from watching the happenings on the floor. I realize the odds are always with the house in casinos but no wins at all in over an hour? Wow. That was what I noticed anyway. The staff were helpful and nice for the most part. There were some mask mafia walking around pointing out the slightest infractions of mask etiquette. It's literally refreshing that a casino goes totally smoke-free and I commend Swinomish for going that route. Do not bother playing the machines! They are the most tightest I've ever played; it should be illegal the way their machines are programmed. Luckily, I had much more enjoyment at the card tables, and I'm not just saying that because I came away with a few dollars more than I started with. TWO PART REVIEW - One good, one not so much ONE STAR MANCHU WOK in the new food court area... Wonder how good business is for them. We wanted to take something with us for a light dinner in our motorhome. At 6:30 pm there was one person behind the counter with their back to us. She was talking through a window to someone in the kitchen and writing things down - the entire time we stood there waiting to be helped. She glanced at us 3 times and didn't acknowledge us. Invisible customers when you have your work to do, I guess. I don't know how long they've been open but if they're trying for a Panda Express-like operation, they are sorely missing the mark. There were several empty pans and the rice and noodles looked pretty old. Probably just as well we didn't have anything from there. Personally, I wouldn't have her "working" and presenting as the face (and persona) of their company. FIVE STARS... ON THE OTHER HAND The SPORTS BAR all you can eat Halibut & chips is fantastic. The fish is fresh and lightly breaded, then deep fried hot enough that the oil doesn't penetrate. Served with a fairly neutral coleslaw and tasty tartar sauce. Worth the drive! read more

Came here from our beach house with a couple celebrating their 42nd wedding anniversary and my birthday that Seam to fall on the same date year after year. This is not the first time at the casino but it was the last. It's not about making it rich it's about having a Friendly nice time out. And if their staff can ruin it they did. This place will test your patience and all the common sense you've ever known. If you're one of those still smoking a known carcinogenic in the 21st century then you're free to sit without a mask and spread disease to yourself and others, but if you buy a beer from the bar then you're expected to put your mask completely back on between sips. And they have people walking around enforcing such rules. They also check your temperature before allowing entry. Considering this is a tribal casino with zero obligation to follow local state rules/laws, I found the whole experience a joke. Have been coming here since as far back as i can remember. This used to be a fun casino but they have slowly been getting cheaper and the slot machines are getting harder to win. The soda was served in a regular sized cup, now served in a cup just bigger than a shot glass. They say its complimetry unless you go to carvers or the sports bar. They used to give you a gift for your birthday, not anymore. The complimentry food used to be 15 or 20 Now its 10. The promo play is 99% going to be 5 dollars. Ive taken advantage of every promo offer that i can get a hold of and only got 10 one rime and 5 every other time. The slots dont even try to hold ones interest anymore. Most of the machines i have played take ar least 40 spins and about 30 to 40 dollars before awarding a bonus that pays as low as 2 dollars. The one positive thing i can say is that the clealiness is kept up and we know alot of the floor employees so we are usually greeted. Ordered an order of fries and the portion was rediculously small on one order. Going to start trying a different location now. read more

My family and I wanted to stay here for a couple days. The rv park was full but they had an overflow area for way cheaper. The spots were long and somewhat spacious for being basically a parking lot. There were no hookups at all which was fine since we have solar installed on our rv. There wasn't anything special about the park either, no playground for kids or a store. Just a basic park. This is a great casino with incredibly good food. Both in restaurants and takeout. We just had a full Thanksgiving dinner takeout and it was absolutely very good. Lots of leftovers which is appreciated. Highly recommend this place. Also has a great RV campground right on Padilla Bay with most sites having great water views. Full hookup of course with steady 50 amp service. We have come back here several times. They also take COVID safety very seriously We will continue to return. read more
