I got to partake in both breakfast and lunch. Both were ok - breakfast wasn't much different than what you'd get on the buffet at Shoney's. Lunch was a little more daring with the brisket being quite good. Included in your visit is the bar. There are three house wines (ooo that cab is rough), a handful of beer choices and two cocktail offerings. They did have well liquor for other options. Everything else is "premium" and for additional charge. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The woman's room had to be designed by a male. Two stalls. One being so tiny a carryon would not fit through the door.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The club wasn't busy yet the bathroom was far from spotless. My second favorite Admiral's Club at O'Hare, lol. I did like the chicken apple sausage earlier this week, though I wish it had been warmer. The bartenders are friendly enough when I'm grabbing a drink, and the other staff I've interacted with have been nice as well. I always end up going to whichever Admiral's Club is nearest to my gate, and when it happens to be this one I'm always fine with it. Purchased a day pass for $89 to try this place out. I definitely think it has nothing on the Centurion lounge and Capital one lounges. The complementary food is more like snacks than real food with one or two entrees only. The evening I went it had a soup, a fried rice dish, and friend chicken balls. A salad bar, desserts and other charcuterie was available but compared to the other provisions of the other lounges, it was more like an Escape lounge grade. I have been to several United Clubs in various airports but I think this is the first Admirals Club I've been to. This was located by gate H6. The club is on the third floor. As far as these clubs go, this one is pretty nice. It was very spacious and there were many open seats in the early morning. The United Club is usually pretty crowded and I remember one occasion where there was no available seating. When we entered there was a distinct odor of bacon throughout the lounge. The buffet area had some bread items, fruit, hard boiled eggs and an egg casserole with hatch Chile. There was some (surprise!) crumbled bacon. After I made an Americano I discovered there was now (surprise!) an entire platter of bacon. I made a beeline for the bacon and I helped myself to a hearty portion let me tell you. Comfy seats, phone charging outlets worked, several business convos taking place all around (what do you expect?) and the staff was nice and diligent about clearing away used items. Nice clean bathroom with DS & Durga hand soap and lotion (primo stuff their perfumes are amazing). I think I was in a mood to be entertained. read more

Friendly and helpful staff at this AA club. I had a flight cancellation due to equipment issues. I made a bee line for this AA lounge which was next to my gate. There was a 3 1/2 hour delay till they got another plane ready. The staff found me alternate flights and quickly got me all rebooked. I even got a upgrade! If you are wondering what value the AA clubs have its when you are knocked off kilter by flight problems. You can get your itinerary sorted out, find a quiet comfy place to relax and have a snack. Bear in mind that while your are relaxing. The customer service desk on the concourse is likely 40 people deep from you cancelled flight and no one is relaxed. I'm so turned off by American Airlines as a whole. Not only have I been a loyal member for years now, but I'm on active orders and was still turned away from entering the Admiral Club. It was already bad enough, that I was stuck at both Fort Wayne and ohare airports for more than 24hrs because of AA planes having maintenance issues etc. But being turned away because I wasn't in full uniform, even though I had my ticket and orders was so unprofessional and left a really bad taste in my mouth. Even after I explained that we are told not to wear our uniforms if we can avoid it, because of the conflict going on in the world, but had my boarding pass, ID, and orders. I may stick with United moving forward because ive never had this type of petty issue with them or any other airline while traveling on orders. read more

Admirals Clubs are pretty standard. They are a comfortable place to sit when you have a long layover. There is some food available. Is it the best airline club food ever? No, but sometimes the salad is good, or they have a soup I like, or bananas. The desserts recently got an update, and they have a bread pudding available. A lot of the food is standard between clubs (eg. desserts, breakfast options). I typically will wait for my flight, grab some water, and sit in a decent seat. There are lots of plugs available for chargers, but they aren't in every seat. What you really want is the Flagship Lounge (if you get access to it). That has better food, showers, and it's super cool. read more

There is comfortable seating with a view available . Restrooms are clean with upscale hand soap and lotion. There is a door ledge at the bottom of the door to open with your foot after you washed your hands! Always leave early enough before your flight to enjoy. Having been to the clubs in DFW, PHL, and PIT, I believe Chicago has the best one. The space never seems crowded and food is refreshed on a regular basis. Staff here are always great and attentive during your stay. Reymond the bartender was exceptional this morning. There are two bars in the club, helping to spread everyone out in the space. Bathrooms and facilities are always clean and well maintained. There's a quiet room where you can lie down if you have a long layover or get here early. I never entered one of these clubs before. I used my points (5600) to purchase a day pass. The attendant at the door helped me with checking in on my flight and then directed me to the lounge. They provided two types of soup, cheese cube and hummus selection, fantastic Caribbean chicken, and made to order guacamole. Also provided was three dessert options and delicious coffee, cappuccino or latte options. The bar had a large selection of drinks for purchase. Behind the bar a room is located for resting or lying down. The wait staff came around and cleaned up dishes. I'd pay again for this type of commodity/environment for my next long layover. read more

The AA flagship lounge provides a nice not hectic atmosphere to relax before your international flights. A variety of wines, champagne and open bar for mixed drinks is on par with other international airline lounges. A wide variety of beers are available including locals (revolution fist beer), international beers (Stella and modelo), domestics (Michelob ultra) plus NA choices. The buffet provided a choice of fresh fruits, meats, cheeses and hot dishes. Don't miss it if you have elite status on AA. read more

These people are crooks. They sell OneDay passes but then refuse entry and honoring the pass citing "member safety" when the club is clearly empty! When asked if they would refund me (purchased same day with a full fare First Class ticket), I was told to contact online customer service. This sure as hell lost my business for American Airlines and any recommendations that I was considering. Trash airlines come with trash customer service. I will definitely avoid flying this carrier in the future when possible and recommend the same if you are looking for an airline that actually cares about its PAYING customers and not rob them by refusing services after selling such! read more

I've visited quite a few of the Admirals Club lounges in American's route system, and this is one of my favorites. The club is spacious and I can almost always find a seat even during holidays and other busy seasons. Staff keeps the buffets stocked and the areas clean, which I appreciate. I also like the fact there is a Coke dispensing machine that lets you pick from a variety of different pop flavors including ones you don't usually see, such as Coke Zero Cherry Vanilla. The only negative of the Admirals Clubs is the need to access via elevators-I wish there were escalators available because it can take a while to get an elevator up or down. Recommended. read more

While connecting flights at ORD, we stopped in the AA Admirals Club to use their restrooms, as we knew they would be cleaner than what's in the airport for the general public to use. Checking in was a breeze and somewhat friendly. The restrooms were VERY clean and nicely stocked! But I have to say, I can't stand the horribly, over-perfumed soap they have in the AA lounges... PLEASE get rid of it and offer lotion with scents for those who want such scents. There are comfy and cozy seats throughout, basic food available for free and nice views of the tarmac. Admirals L 2 area. Not near the choices of items. We wanted to order off the menu like we normally do and they said they have no cook today. Pretty bad if you can't have or offer what we as customers pay for while traveling. It's like most of America tho. No one wants to work and companies don't want to pay a decent wage. The lounge in O'Hare airport is huge! Always plenty of room no matter how busy. Tv's, food, bar, WiFi... all you need to pass the time before your flights. If you have any issues the friendly staff can handle all your ticketing needs! Conference rooms and a kids area rounds it out!!!! read more

I have been to this admirals club a number of times and really enjoy it. There a lot of good amenities, whether you want to hang at the bar, find a chair in the varies areas or grab a seat in the large tv room, there is something to do. There are two areas to grab food so you don't have to go from one side to the other. The food is typical of other admirals clubs but I have found that the service is really good. This is a club that I look forward to visiting when I am in the area. read more

Worst lounge around. Extra charge for anything with bubbles is what the female bartender told me after she finally got off her phone. She made more than one customer wait while she was texting. I'm not used to such a lower class lounge as this so maybe this is normal for American but I am significantly disappointed. The location was overcrowded and hardly any food available. Centurion is much better, obviously, but that is not an option at this location. Since you likely don't have another choice, go for it. But prepare to be disappointed. Additionally, the food they did have was gone, without being replenished during my hour stay at the lounge. I don't expect much out of American Airlines as they are one of the worst available, I guess the poor standards carry over to their lounges, as well. read more

I thought this was the world's smallest Admiral's Club until I saw the one at the LAX satellite terminal - but both get the job done by providing a quiet place to grab some snacks and enjoy a cocktail before your flight or on a layover. The checkin staff at this club were super friendly and helpful - even after I accidentally proffered my Delta AMEX to pay for our day passes (I meant to grab the Marriott). They were sure to point out that my day pass would get me access to another club either at ORD or if I had a layover (I didn't) and printed our boarding passes *just in case* we needed them. The club again isn't huge but they offer the standard veggies/hummus/soups/snack mix/cheeses you'll find at any AC. There isn't a soda machine, so you'll have to visit the bar to get soft drinks. The bartender on my visit here was friendly and quick. For the cost of lounge access, you can probably get a better/more substantial meal elsewhere in the airport, but you won't have the quiet, free Wi-Fi, or access to nice bathrooms that you'll have in the AC. read more

Not a direct reflection of the admirals club but very unhappy with AA. They over booked and overstocked the flight forcing me to check a carry on bag- and pay for it. In the process they broke my luggage, and upon arrival because I had to go to baggage claim I couldn't re-enter the airport to wait for my friends as they were on a later flight through United and Delta (smart on them). I write this as I sit on the curb of my destination city, waiting for the next two hours. My carry on bag that I have used as such for four years and never had an issue with flying in an overhead bin, now doesn't roll. This is the only way I can hope American Airlines sees this and tries to fix this issue so other flyers don't experience what I did. read more
