    Couscous with arugula
    HoyMay P.

We landed in Chicago on time. We had some extra time to spare so visited the United Club. It was a busy place. I helped myself to couscous with arugula salad, grilled asparagus, grapes, cheese and chicken with sweet bell peppers. That was a good stop before our next flight.

Had an unexpected delay that I found out about en route to the o hare airport. Didn't have any lounges available through my priority pass, so I paid $59 for this United lounge, which was conveniently located next to my gate. There was enough seating, there were some light bites, and self serve fountain Coca Cola products. Had a small soup and salad. Made sure to put in some eggs in my salad to perceive winning and value. Nice to have ok food, but that's not why I came. On the other side of the line was more seating and beers on tap. Also got some snacks for the flight. Overall, given that everything in the airport is marked up anyway, I decided to spend on access to this lounge for space and light refreshment and it was worth it to me.

The bar area. lol I'm too lazy to walk Over there. The drunk white guys who drive big trucks are at it again...

This is for the United club at or near gate B16. A number of reviews here are for the club at the other end of B concourse. I guess they couldn't figure out gps coordinates to get the right review in the right place. The club is down a level and I would say it's a smallish to mid-sized club. Two primary seating areas, a bar and food area. Hot food is ok but not award winning. The bar seems to be full service and not without its loud drunk braggarts. lol it's a lounge, everyone here travels and gets around. We get it. You are something. Now please, drink quietly lol. Lots of plugs and charging points. Different seating configurations but no place to escape the noise if it's busy. Decent. Appreciate its location and availability.

This is a review for the United Club by B6. There was a long line when I visited, which is unusual at a United Club. I waited about 15mins before entering. After check in, take the escalator to the second floor. This club is spacious with lots of seats to accommodate members. There are two self served food stations that are opposite ends of each other. Each station has its own coffee machine. Surprisingly the main cooked foods were actually pretty good. I love meat, but I could be vegan for an hour. There is one bar to this location serving complementary beverages.

This was conveniently located right outside my gate. It is a good size, has good food options, fast wifi and was not too crowded for the FTW. Friendly staff as well.

Decent United Club, but very busy... Comfortable place to hangout while waiting for your flight, alright food, and respectable drink selection. Not as nice as Denver's lounges, but no complaints.

My first time at the United Club, so I'm rating it on its own merits, rather than comparing it to other United Clubs. Ambiance (4/5). It's not a four-star hotel, but everything from the bathrooms to the seating are much nicer than your standard airport accommodations : ) And everything was clean. Food (4.5/5). I was very pleasantly surprised by the selection and quality of the food. I tried everything from the basic salad (3.5/5) to the meatballs and marinara (4/5) to the lemon chicken orzo (5/5) to the chocolate chip cookies (4/5), and I came to the conclusion that there must be a very talented chef preparing these foods! Very nice. You can also get every kind of drink--there is a bar, a coffee bar, and a soda machine like the one you find at a movie theater where you can get every brand of soda in any flavor : ) Overall it felt like a restful spot in an otherwise hurried place.

This is my first time in many years where I am at the concourse B6 gate as opposed to the other B16 Club at the opposite end. This place is much bigger regarding seating and also newer than the other B 16 Club. Same food items with todays lunch offerings were a dumpling or minestrone soup; 2 mini sandwiches a twist on a Vietnamese Banh Mi that had turkey and pepper jack and a Caprese Baguette; pieces of Bratwurst on a hot holding dish as well items to make a salad with pieces of iceberg. Bar at the far end was nice and larger than the other B Club Concourse.

The first impression was nice, calm, and professional in appearance. The seating was nicely laid out, plenty of different areas. I absolutely loved the library-esque atmosphere, THIS is what a lounge is supposed to be... not having kids running around, yelling, horseplaying, annoying guests. There were kids and they were well-mannered. They have a champagne and wine bar here - though not as nice as many other first class lounges, it was a nice offering and the brands were very nice too. They also offered a fun bloody mary bar which was self-service. This was really interesting as they offered so many things one could put in their bloody mary. Food here was tasty... the eggs were amazing. They offered an omelete station too. Overall, it was a nice visit.

This location is spacious like the other flagships but often has a bunch of people in it. The reason Soho rates above the rest is they gate access to One World Emerald customers only so it's a much more relaxed and considered space. This one allows in Sapphire as well so there's a bunch of bodies in here.

There are four Framery privacy pods. Two with adjustable seats and desk tops and two without seats in a stand up desk configuration. These pods are quiet and have charging capability (1 USB-C and 1 115V). Overhead lighting is fully adjustable along with the front facing lighting for video conference calls. There is also an adjustment for the ventilation fan however I have found that, even on the highest setting, they can get warm. There are most of the same food options as the F9 location but on a smaller scale. There are self-serve options for soft drinks and coffee. In lieu of a tended bar, there is a self-serve bar with an assortment of juices, wines and beers. Like most United Clubs, there isn't a whole lot of interaction with the staff. That said, they all seem friendly enough and this location is clean and well maintained. Would I go back? I've actually been to this location a few times now and like it. So far, it's a quieter alternative to some of the other locations.

It is a long narrow space where the front is less used since refreshments are at the far end. Finger foods like canapés, sandwiches and wraps are set out on a sideboard. There are different seating arrangements including phone booth like cubes for more private phone conversation. This new lounge takes the load off the one near F9 and has a more tranquil vibe than the packed elbow to elbow ones in Terminal 1.

The reason this lounge was designed as such a large space is due to the fact that there's a lot of people in here. That's just something to keep in mind as a basis for your understanding. In terms of design, this lounge has various types of seating. They have the more comfortable chairs located throughout the various rooms at this lounge. They also have numerous seats that are associated with tables. This is probably best for people like myself, who enjoyed grabbing a quick snack, and having a drink, before it's time to board the aircraft. They also have long desks with charging ports set up for those who want to get some work done. Plus, there are some self-standing seats spread out throughout the lounge area. In terms of food offerings, they have food buffets on two ends of the lounge. Both of these buffets offer a unique blending of Quick-Food, as I like to call it. Is pretty good. I will say, that I've never been disappointed in what they offer. You can always find something to suit your pallet. In terms of drinks, they have drink offerings at both ends of the lounge, as well, in association with the food buffets. There, you can get your expected soft drinks, coffee, and water. If you want alcoholic beverages, you have to go down to the one end of the lounge, where they have a bar. There, they generally have two bartenders. Each of which is happy to give you whatever you want. They often mix drinks, beers, wine, and all that kind of stuff. Many of the drinks are all free. But, if they are, be sure to throw the bartenders a tip. I think that's an important gesture. Some people decide to sit along the bar while they enjoy their drinks. I guess they are just type of people who enjoying hanging out at bars. I don't find out all that comfortable, or appealing, as you're basically elbow-to-elbow with somebody, you don't really know. But, that's just my personal opinion. If I have one complaint about this lounge, it's the fact that it's not really set up for the first class domestic passengers on United. Whereas, is you are flying internationally on United, they use the Star Alliance lounges that are specifically designed for its first and business class passengers. In terms of this lounge, pretty much anybody can get into it, simply by paying a sixty dollar fee. Thus, you get a whole lot of people, Just overwhelming space, without a lot of decorum. Overall, I've been in much better lounges, and I've been in a lot worse lounges around the globe. There's not much to complain about this place, you just have to expect that there's gonna be a lot of people. I have seen it at times midday, when people can't even find a single seat to sit in. So, just keep this in mind.

The food, drink, and service were good -- generally consistent with my experiences at other Sky Clubs in recent years. My favorite feature of this particular Sky Club is the Chicago-style hot dog cart. During our visit, it was tucked away near the secondary bar. Our Chicago dogs were authentic and delicious. If I recall correctly, the hot dog guy said the cart was only meant for the lounge's opening; however, it was so popular that it became a permanent fixture in the lounge.
