Perfect place for a nice brunch. The price is perfect for the quality of the food and from the begging to the end everything was delicious. The service was outstanding. Sylvano’s - House special ravioli!! Veeeeery delicious - Italian Near Me - Miami, Florida

Truly, this place is a treat and a half. The most difficult decision was between ordering the Branzino or their Chicken Paillard. However, their veal Parmesan is one of my favorites so I usually let my gut decide accordingly. What I love most about their appetizer menu is the grilled calamari! With an extensive wine list like theirs, it's quite easy to order one for the table to accompany your savory dish. The terrace is a great seating option plus it's dog-friendly! I asked a server to bring me the brunch menu to eye it out and it's quite impressive! I took a bite of the spaghetti carbonara my friend ordered and I was in heaven. Luckily, she gave me a little portion of it so I was able to have a nice sample of a few of their staple dishes. When I discovered their Miami Beach location years ago, I fell in love so its easy to see how this location manages to awe me. Nice neighborhood restaurant. The ravioli and the gnocchi were tasty. The creme brûlée was ok -- not special, but good. Service is spotty. One waiter was very attentive; the other was in a hurry and made me feel he couldn't wait for me to finish and leave. Not one single "welcome", eye contact or smile. If you ever spent time in NYC or miss that neighborhood Italian restaurant this is your home away from home in Miami. This is not checkered table cloth type cliché but rather an comfortable and slightly sophisticated decor. Great large bar with indoor and outdoor seating. It is the little house on 2nd Ave. Food quality is fantastic and plenty to choose from. I have been for lunch twice because the lunch special is outstanding value at $14.99. Just had the best brunch at Sylvano's... I took my whole family (12)... we were all very impressed with the food and service. They were attentive and quick. We arrived pretty early 11:30, but they were ready for us and did not hesitate. I went for dinner with my family on a Saturday night. Among our party we had a 2 and a 3 year old. The kids had there moments of acting their age but no big deal. It shock me that the owner came to the table to tell us to please keep the BAMBINOS at their chairs. I found this to be so wrong considering that they allow pets at the tables regardless of size or slobbering all over the place. So if you visit them please make sure to keep your kids on a leash. read more

We were looking to eat light.. Pizza and a salad. Having frequented Sylvano's Miami Beach location we expected the same old world flavors at the new midtown location. Parking not easy on the street... Inside large bar more of a Sports Bar feel.. outside dining ok. Caprese Pizza had No taste! - cheese all in the middle with a few tasteless tomatoes and sparse sprinkling of basil ! Rolled crust edge was 1/3 of the pizza House Salad nothing special. ( Spris chain pizza's are better.) Very disappointed and looking at other dishes being served not at all impressed. we will not be back.. There are several Italian establishments in Midtown & Design District just down the street and with a more lively atmosphere and authentic "ITALY" flavors. read more

The location is an up and coming neighborhood however the restaurant is cozy clean and the food... Bloody amazing.

Nice enough and seems to be popular for its food and bar. People having drinks and dinner at bar with a sport's viewing but very muted sound. We are at a table and we were not impressed. First, when we order brushetta, we expect that the garlic/tomato mixture has had an opportunity to blend and be at room temperature and that there would be a distinct garlic taste to the toasted bread. The mixture for us was just made, the chopped tomato was without taste, the bits of garlic lay on the top and all on non described toasted bread. The mixture was so fresh that nothing seeped into the bread. One member has the eggplant appetizer and found it way to salty. We tried the artichoke bottom appetizer and found was very complex creation with too much lemon. One nice item was the Sylvano's which was large and with great garlic bread would be a meal itself. I tried this place because I really wanted pasta, but it came out and was very cold along with a few other plates. The service was very nice though but the food wasn't that great and they also did not offer meat in many courses which was a bit striking as well. I am so freaking happy this Restaurant opened right here in the Midtown area. Clearly they have a well established clientele on the beach and are known for their incredible food. This new location is fresh, clean, beautifully designed, and has plenty of street accessibility and parking. How's the food...? Insane good. We ordered the Chicken Paillard, The Branzino (Mediterranean Sea Bas), and the Ravioli of the Day, which is House made ravioli with Ricotta, Salmon and Asparagus in Butter Sage Sauce. That last dish was what I had. To die for. I wasn't necessarily planning to do a review for the restaurant, so regretfully I took no photos. The food was amazing or at least the appetizer was. waiter was amazing as well and this is where it all when south. we order our food. as we were getting served the appetizers a family of four walked in. The chef walked to them got a huge order in italian clearly friends with the chef problem here is that they order a lot of food got there entire dinner served and here we are done eating our appetizers waited 15min and got up paid our food and left before our dinner came out. How are you gonna skip customers and make them wait in between meals. Super rude and not acceptable...... i hope the chef sees this and puts himself in our shoes so many restaurant but we chose this one today and he treated us like second class customers. out of the 15min wait we had 5min of watching a family eat dinner a family that just skipped us not a good feeling special on January 1st.
