We hired them for move-out cleaning of our one-bedroom apartment in Berkeley and two very nice ladies did a great job. I wish we hired them when we moved in, as the place is pretty old. However, scheduling a time was quite stressful. Texting the available number is probably your best bet over calling or messaging via yelp. The management kept rescheduling on me. When it rolled around to our set time and day, I asked if they were almost at my place, and they said there was an emergency and that I would need to reschedule. I understand that things come up for people, but she should've notified me proactively instead of me asking 15 minutes past my set appointment time. Also, when I scheduled my appointment, I sent them pictures of my place to get a quote, and they said it'd be $180-200, and the two ladies ended up charging me $220, weird considering I already pre-cleaned a bit. Overall, they did a really great job at cleaning itself. But if you're on a strict timeline (like moveout) or on a strict budget, probably not worth it.

For the record, I had none. Super-Cleaning is very accommodating in scheduling, as I needed an evening or weekend appointment, which was no problem whatsoever. Maryuti was prompt, professional, and polite. I also appreciated the fact she brought her own cleaning supplies. I was afraid in the timeframe I booked she would only be able to clean a minimal area or two, but she worked faster than I could have imagined yet was extremely thorough, thereby, being able to do more than I expected. The house had not been thoroughly cleaned for quite some time, so she had her work cut out for her and she truly delivered. The baseboards and vents were extra dirty, as was the ceiling fan in the kitchen and there was a night and day difference after they were cleaned properly. Maryuti was very quiet the entire time which was appreciated as this was one of the days my sister was working from home so she could continue to work uninterrupted while the house was being cleaned. There was no apology or accountability for their lack of punctuality and dishonesty. I cannot recommend Patricia's Cleaning Services to anyone.

I used Yelp to look at 8-9 different house cleaning providers in the area, read all of the reviews, asked about prices, etc. I found that Ana's Detailed House Cleaning presented as the best option for me: prices were reasonable, ratings and reviews indicated they did good work and had been doing it for quite a few years, and above all else they were very responsive over Yelp's messaging service. While I did see a few 1 and 2-star ratings, after reading those reviews I found most of them to be weird complaints from years and years ago. They're not indicative of current service. The promptness and attentiveness, combined with being intentional about explaining their services and answering questions in a reasonable amount of time, showed to me they were taking their work seriously. I started with a Deep Cleaning, which was just finished today. They did a great job. They caught little issues other house cleaners have ignored (dust under the fridge, for example) and went above and beyond to make the beds in a nice and well-presented manner. They were also friendly to my cats. I'm looking forward to having them come regularly.
