Do not go here unless you get the price upfront. I took my 13 year old granddaughter, and 8 year old granddaughter for cut and blowdry. I was told $140 for my 13 year old and $110 for my 8 year old. To be fair I should have walked out but I didn't want to let my granddaughters down as they were so excited. For that price I thought their hair would be amazing, but it was far from that. I decided not to get my 8 year olds done. I was told they would cut it with no shampoo and blow for $50, so they are charging $60 for shampoo and blowdry! I feel totally ripped off! read more

Horrible experience. Worst cut and color I have ever had. Quy ruined my hair and I am out $400 dollars. She quoted me $250 on phone then changed the price when she got me in the chair. Instead of foiling my hair- she did a lazy job doing a layer of bleach then a layer of brown and repeated until done. She dry cut my hair prior to the color and gave me horribly uneven layers. It looks awful even in a ponytail. When finished she told me to wear it curly til I came back in 3 weeks where she was planning on charging me $90 to fix my color! My bangs are terribly uneven. Below is the color and cut I asked for which she indicated I had plenty of hair to do and assured me she could do it. It is nothing like I paid her for! Do not waste your time money or let her near your hair! Awful business woman awful hairdresser awful human to rip people off! She has the nerve to have my picture on her website after I sent her an email asking for my money back! She never responded. If she doesn't remove my picture I'm going to sue her! I should have read the Yelp reviews because we too were taken advantage of by this place. I booked my mom an appointment online for a $50 haircut and was charged $95. I don't even pay that at an upscale Ballantyne salon. She also tried to sell us a Revlon hair dryer for $68. Quy also kept typing in different prices on her machine before showing me our checkout cost. I have never experienced such an encounter. I don't even know how this place stays in business. Zero stars. Overpriced. Poor quality. Paid twice as much as a high end salon. Owner quotes one price that is higher than her pricing on her website and then almost doubles it at check out. Pricing started at 250, then ended $385. Services were a partial highlight and cut-blow dry. Website pricing is $103 and $67. When you bring the overpricing to her attention she threatens to call the police and have you arrested if you don't pay the amount she is asking for at the end. Haircut was too short and not even. The color was splotchy. When I explained that I was unhappy with the change in price and quality, she said she would give me $30 back if I didn't post a review. read more

Which already seems high for a haircut. I showed up at the location, which is not really high-end and not very clean, and before she started, she increased the price to $100. As I headed home I called her on the phone, to have a conversation about it, and express to her that it wasn't a good customer experience. She didn't take accountability, gave excuses, got defensive, and said that haircuts could be up to $300. I explained that the issue is not keeping the original quoted price, and trying to get more out of a customer at the last minute. Also, be prepared for product pushing. Haircut now that it's not styled it's actually awful. Very nice wash and styling by Vanessa by the way. I debated whether to write this review, but I read that other people here and in Facebook reviews, had similar experiences, and I realized that this wasn't a one off situation, but the way she might actually do business. I wanted to love this place because it's close to home and to other shops I frequent. Plus the atmosphere is lovely. Unfortunately, a couple hours before my appointment, I was texted to ask if I could move my appointment time one hour later. I needed to keep my original appointment time due to other obligations. So, when I showed up, Quy was working on someone else. I wound up spending a lot of time under the dryer after having my hair washed while she finished up with the other client. When it was my turn to be seen, I asked for long layers. She cut my hair bluntly, straight across. No layers to be seen. When she showed me my hair, I asked for some layers to be put in. She somewhat hastily cut some layers, but didn't cut them individually. She grabbed large chunks of hair to "layer" my hair. I've never seen it done like that before. Once she was finished, it looked the same as it had before, only the ends were a little thinner. By that time, I had lost trust in her, so I said it was fine and left. Of course, I didn't leave without paying $130. I will not be back, and I wish I'd checked Yelp instead of just Google before scheduling my appointment. read more

This business owner does not care about the good of the client. My sister came home to me sobbing because the woman didn't listen to her AT ALL. On the website, we assumed a hair color wouldn't be more than $200 and she tried to make her pay almost $500. She tried to belittle her by telling her she didn't understand all of the things included that creates these prices. She tried to explain her price range and that she'd just leave, but this woman pressured her by telling her she'd make her lose money and she needs this money. She gave her something extremely different than asked for and then told her she had to leave with wet hair, because hair drying costed SIXTY DOLLARS!!! That's as much as a hair dryer COSTS! Then after the hair, the woman tried to pressure her into buying products and travel products after she repeatedly told her she could not afford them. I called her back and she was so rude. I did not have a kind tone, but we are heart broken and this woman took her for a ride around the block. I would save $300 and go ANYWHERE else. Please check the prices online I added for reference. First time here. We got a great cut, they have comfortable chairs, and staff are very friendly.

I went to this Salon to have my hair straightened. I have had the procedure done before in a different Country so I'm very familiar with the Keratin testament. When the owner started I knew she had no idea what she was doing. I didn't say anything at the time because I just assumed she had a different way. Long story short, she applied the Keratin with just her hand. She dump some of the Keratin in her hand and rubbed it into my scalp. Then but me under the dryer. She was going to then flat iron my hair some crazy way and I said no just make it straight up and down. I went home and washed my hair. The owner didn't tell me I had to wait 2 days before washing my hair so the treatment only lasted about a week. Don't waste your time or money here! My girlfriend got her hair done here as well at the same time and got FUC$ed with her pricing and procedures in hair coloring and cut. read more
