This is now the second project we've had System Pavers do for us. Front driveway and back patio earlier this year and a winding path just this past week. It should go without saying that we liked the work they did the first time so much that we had them come back, but I'll say it: These guys are good, and their attention to detail is without equal. They put in a block wall (with under-edge lighting) in the back and expanded our patio with beautiful pavers, and did our sloping circular driveway in the front. Makes the house look so much nicer. Requested warranty service and a crew came out today to figure out why things were growing underneath the turf. I had done a front yard and a side yard turf projectspent over $23,000. I had existing drains for very good drainage. The company came out and decided that the warranty did not cover, which turned out to be some kind of fungus growth. System Pavers, would not honor the warranty which I did present which did not exclude this situation. Then they decided for $1100. They would cut out the sections that were protruding and cover with an anti-weed killer, which they apparently did not do upon installation. They did come out one time to pull up the sod because the weeds coming through was really bad. Although the weeds still come through, I took care of them myself with vinegar and salt. System pavers, refused to take any responsibility whatsoever for the state of my sod I paid $23,000 For sod that did not last even two years. I have had three past projects with System Pavers and had some problems. Well actually one major problem when this bobcat driver lost control of a bobcat at my house in Lake Arrowhead and went through my fence and almost down the very steep hillside, however, a huge cedar tree blocked his demise. My 50 foot cedar was severely damaged, and I did need an arborist to come out, assess the damage and provide materials to save the tree . Do not use this company. I understand that they are under new management and they are not honoring any warranties, I handed over the warranty when they arrived, nope, not honoring it! By the way, this was my third project with System Pavers and I have spent over $100,000 with this company, so much for customer satisfaction. Guaranteed! read more

System Pavers designed a Backyard patio adjacent to my Swimming Pool. They used a jackhammer to remove the existing concrete. In doing so they damaged the tile in my pool on the side where they jackhammered. They attempted to repair the damage but did a terrible job. Most of the tiles they replaced fell off. They have not corrected the damage and now refuse to do anything to make it right. I question the honesty and integrity of this company and would think twice before I would use them. read more

We got 5 estimates from different companies before going with System Pavers, and we're so lucky we did. Even the estimate experience was miles above the competition. Jay Maltzman visited for an on-site estimate and he was informative and showed an attention to detail and passion for the craft that no other consultant came close to. We weren't sure if we were going to add pavers to some parts of our patio, so we had some very detailed requests for the estimate to break out costs of each section so we could decide how much of the project to move forward with. Every other company ignored these requests and gave me a summary quote for the whole job without line items breaking it down, but Jay took notes and broke down the costs on the spot, following my requests exactly. Others just pretended to listen and had to get back to me after a few days with whole parts of the job missing from the estimate. Jay took measurements and had a rough map of our home ready on the estimate with costs the same day. We also had a complex reshaping of steps that needed some creativity to work in our space. While others just gave us a vague "we'll figure it out and it will look beautiful", Jay drew the curves on the estimate and gave us strong artistic justification for his approach to the step design. When we moved forward, he upgraded his drawing to a detailed color coded map that served as a wonderful reference throughout the project. I can't say enough great things about the project manager who lead the installation team on-site: Israel Zepeda. He went above and beyond to make the experience smooth for us. He ensured we understood how the work was going to proceed, checked with us often when there was a design question or issue with our existing utilities or hardscaping, and his communication was excellent throughout the project. Whenever I had a question or brought up an issue with areas of concern, he would take care of it and walk me through options. It is so rare to work with someone who takes responsibility for issues that come up on a project, and fixes them without argument, blame, or price gouging. No matter who you hire, there will always be issues on a project, and the way Israel handled them truly earned my trust and gratitude. We had some other installations around the pavers that required some careful timing, and Israel was very accommodating to make sure the areas we needed ready for other contractors were done on time. Besides the working relationship, the end result is beautifully done and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend System Pavers to anyone looking to do outdoor work. My husband and I had been wanting to do cement or pavers in our backyard for quite awhile. We had a large patch of dirt that was often a mess and a small concrete patio that didn't drain well, the patio was angled toward the house and the water pooled right outside our back door. I went to the OC fair to find a company that did pavers. I made an appointment and Brian was the sales rep. He was punctual for the appointment and he discussed the process of putting the pavers in, he helped us choose the color and the pattern for the patio. Brian introduced us to Angel on the following visit and he was the project manager. Angel discussed our plans with us, once we began the process, he was there each day, very punctual, even arriving before his crew. Angel kept us posted on the progress daily. He took pictures and showed us an area that the dirt was above the pavers and offered suggestions for improvement if we were interested. The pavers looked so nice that we decided to remove old brick planters and put in new planters to match the pavers. It made such a difference. Angel anticipated the project would take 5 days to complete. Even with adding the planters, the job was complete in 4 days. His crew worked as a team, very quickly and professionally and they kept everything clean and picked up after themselves each day. Angel was with us each step of the way to be sure that everything was done well and we were pleased with the progress. We are extremely happy with their work. We had System Pavers install a patio in our backyard recently, and I can't say enough good things about the entire experience. Our sales rep/designer Joey did a great job coming up with suggestions and a design that incorporated some elements that we already had. (This is the first step in a full backyard renovation, so I'm going to add pics once we're finished...) Once we had the design finalized and signed the contract, the installation was scheduled very promptly and the project manager, Jimmy, was very communicative and kept us informed on how the installation was going to proceed and made sure everything went smoothly, answering any questions that we had along the way. Finally Antonio and the crew did the actual installation very efficiently and professionally and made sure that it looked fantastic when it was finished, the entire thing took two days which was a pleasant surprise. In 2013 System Pavers installed patio pavers in our backyard, and we were very pleased with the workmanship, the clean up and the end result. In the last year we noticed that the pavers began crumbling, disintegrating. One of the benefits of using System Pavers is they back their workmanship and products and have a 25 year warranty. When I called to have them look at the failing pavers, they sent Jose Muniz to assess the problem. With Jose's assessment, System Pavers honored the 25 year warranty. A week ago they removed the old pavers and replaced them with new pavers of our choice, all at no cost to us. Jose Muniz was extremely professional, honest and an excellent communicator. He kept me appraised of the process, answered all my questions and tirelessly worked to supply sample pavers until we had chosen the style we liked best. The crew that was assigned to do the project was also professional, hard working and friendly. Victor and Ramon are very skilled at laying pavers and attending to so many details. After the job was completed, they cleaned up the area, washed down all areas that had dust and sand from the job and then checked in to make sure we were happy. Unlike other experiences with contractors, we feel they really wanted to please us and remain open to any concerns or issues that come up in the future with the job. System pavers completely blow me away. From customer service, to the actual work that was done, they were just impressive. There was a project manager, Jose, who answered our questions who made us feel very comfortable that the work was going to be done properly. He would come by and make sure that even the smallest details of having the drains face in the same direction. The workers kept to themselves completed the jobs and worked full days from 8 AM to 5 PM five days a week. The job was done in a week and a half. Now as a sidenote, unfortunately due to the jackhammering they busted our pool drain or pool pipe. José was in communication with our pool man and they took care of the cost of replacing the pool pipe and putting the pieces of the pavers they took a part back together again. There's also a warranty on the pavers. I wish that all contractors and people in this field would be as responsible and professional as system pavers! We had a very positive experience with System Pavers. We replaced our driveway, porch, walkways (front and back) and patio. Our sales consultant, Jeff Brown, was easy to work with. He came up with some really good ideas and did not pressure us to make our decisions right away or sign a contract before we were ready. In the backyard, we significantly altered the footprint of our patio (increased the size by over 50%) and the walkways around the yard. Jeff's ideas really added to the eye appeal and usefulness of the hardscape. Our project manager, Ryan Mainwaring, came to our house the day before work was to start and explained how the project would proceed, and what we could expect. Once work started, he came by every day to assess progress, check that the work was within specifications and make suggestions for improvements. He was informative, and like Jeff, he came up with some great ideas to add some classy dimensions to the project. Ryan told us the project would take 3 - 4 weeks, but it was actually completed in just under three weeks. We noticed a few flaws and pointed them out to Ryan. He had them fixed to our satisfaction within two days. Prior to starting the project, we got quotes from another paving stone company. System Pavers was a bit more expensive, but I believe the quality of workmanship and professionalism made the added expense worth it. Jeff had so many good ideas and was able to show us (with his computer software) what the completed project would look like, whereas the other sales representative only followed our suggestions, offering no ideas for improvement. We looked at numerous completed jobs from the other contractor and noted that the work product appeared substandard. I have no regrets that we paid extra to have System perform the work.
