This place is great! The food is awesome, and the selection of meats is really incredible. They had things on the menu that I had never seen before. I went with a few friends and had an awesome time! Will definitely be back.

I looooove Szechuan Mansion! Their service is great - everything arrives fast and the restaurant is very clean. The sauce station has plenty of options with recommended sauce recipes. The meat is always tender, and the chicken bone broth is SO flavorful. Highly recommend that broth if you're not a fan of Szechuan spice/numbing flavor. The sides are also great - the spam fried rice and popcorn chicken were very flavorful and a great way to complement the meat/broth.

WOW - blown away by great service, fun and lively ambiance, and excellent hot pot. First off, they are very busy, so expect to wait a bit after checking into the wait-list. We came on a Friday evening around 5PM, and only had to wait about half an hour, but the wait seemed much longer around prime dinner time. The person checked people in on the iPad and was actively managing the wait-list, so it seemed to run efficiently. They have an extensive menu, but they also offer combo deals so you don't have to choose yourself. We got the original bone broth, with sliced and marinated beef, and the veggie platter. The broth was so flavorful (without being overly salty), and was great to sip since it was a cold day outside. The beef and vegetables were fresh and plentiful. To dip your food in, they have a full sauce bar with your standard sauces like sesame, sa-cha, peanut, soy sauce, oils, hot sauce, peanuts, garlic, etc. which you can fill to your hearts content. Our server was friendly and attentive, helping to provide suggestions and refills as needed. The best hot pot experience and left full and satisfied. A must try when you're in the area!

Was visiting North Carolina for a weekend trip and found ourselves craving hot pot. This place had some pretty good reviews and man did the food live up to the expectation! The sauce bar is pretty extensive with fresh ingredients, a variety of sauces and oils. Really brings out the potion making skills in you. First, we chose our pot size of Yin-Yang where you get to pick two soup flavors. Next, we chose our broth flavors and spice levels of the Beef Tallow Mala at Medium Spice Level and Chicken Stock with Mushrooms. After, we chose the cooked and uncooked items to put into our hot pot. We chose: braised beef, tripe, quail eggs, pork belly, enoki mushroom, prime beef, tenderloin, beef meatballs, fish balls, tofu, napa cabbage, watercress, winter melon, and corn. Picking the noodles is one of my favorite parts; I chose glass vermicelli, green bean vermicelli, and udon. BEEF TALLOW MALA Satisfying mala flavor, some places have a mild mala, but this was perfect, not too oily and the beef tallow was fresh, there wasn't any weird taste to it which can happen if it isn't fresh. CHICKEN STOCK WITH MUSHROOMS Such an underrated soup, truly would drink this on its own. A perfect break from the spicy mala and really flavorful for such simple ingredients. Everything came out reasonably fast for a place that was pretty packed. The staff were so friendly and attentive, it was a great place for a party of six. All the meat was prepared fresh and presented beautifully. This is one of my first reviews where my photos really don't show everything I ordered and enjoyed. I definitely ate before the camera for one of the few times in my life. Everything was just soooo delicious and I really just dove right in haha. Highly recommend coming here if you want to try a good hot pot place or if you just want some bomb hot pot. Absolutely wonderful.

Came for lunch on a Friday with my family and we were all very satisfied! We ordered their limited-time special of prepared lamb stew, which was very flavorful. I think it's quite a thoughtful setup to have a side table with shelves next to the table, which keeps our table less crowded and makes it easy for us to clear used plates away. Beware they get really crowded for dinner and on weekends - even though we were there for lunch most tables were occupied. They are not AYCE, meaning you order whatever toppings and ingredients you want but they are a la carte. Really solid hotpot, can't wait to return!

Authentic Szechuan Chinese cuisine! Staff is friendly and the food is fantastic! I strongly recommend if you want real Chinese food. I wish they had one of these where I live in Florida!

The food came out quickly. The service made sure we always had a full cup of water (with lemon, yum) which was great because the broth (beef tallow) was so spicy but so tasty. Definitely recommend getting fried pork belly appetizer (it's to die for). Expect a bit of a wait especially on weekends.

Delicious, excellent service, and filling for a little more expensive than what we usually get. I got the mini spicy beef broth. We went for Combo C. Enough food for four people at about $80 at the end of the day. Quality of food and sauces is spectacular. The sauces are especially nice because they're a build your own deal. Ambiance is nice, pretty modern and classy.

Extremely friendly staff, beautiful decor, great smells and even better food! I eat here with my partner or alone usually 1-2 times per week. While not all you can eat, this is THE BEST hotpot restaurant in the triangle. When you walk in the aroma of spice and soup greets you immediately. It can be a bit chaotic to get on the wait list if it's your first visit- but it is worth the momentary chaos and the wait for your table. The menu is huge and the waitstaff is great at explaining the hot pot process and can make suggestions on what to order. I cannot recommend Szechuan Mansion enough!

This was our first time trying Hot Pot, and it was pretty good. We must have looked confused because the server asked if it was our first time and explained everything on how to order. We had 3 people and decided on the combo for 2-3 people, which ended up being more than enough. These were my favorite items that I tried: the tomato broth, the fried bun with condensed milk, prime beef sliced meat, egg fried rice, and all the yummy veggies (especially squash). I loved the sauce-making station in the back, but their #2 sauce provided at the table was incredible. Overall, fun and delicious dining experience.

Tonight was my first time ever having hot pot!! The service was okay, however I wish the waitress had provided more of an explanation on the menu, portion sizes, and the hot pot process in general since my family and I didn't really know what we were doing. There was a whole sauce bar in the back that we were unaware of - happened to discover it on my way to the bathroom. We ordered 2 broth bases to try. My sister specified level 1 spicy, (the lowest level) for the broth she chose, but when it came out it ended up being extremely spicy to the point that we couldn't eat it at all so that was disappointing. Thankfully, the other broth we chose was delicious and not spicy at all. Overall, the ingredients seemed fresh and I really enjoyed the chicken broth, ramen, rice cakes, mushrooms, and chicken. The sea weed tasted funny to me so I would recommend skipping that. I loved the hot pot experience I just wish there had been a bit more guidance. I'm sure the next time will go smoother!

I'm a solo diner who loves hotpot. Is this place solo diner friendly? I usually see tables with 2 or more people. I don't have to take up a big table and feel out of place. Do you offer smaller hotpot options for solo diners?

Thanks for your question! Yes, we offer small pot for solo dinners! You will enjoy it as much as you are with friends!

Do you have gluten free options for the hotpot if so what are they?

Thanks for asking! We have gluten free options.

    Do they reservations?

Thank you for asking. You are more than welcome to call our restaurant at (919) 800-1802 for reservation. Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Is it all you can eat? If so, How much per person ? If not, What's the minimum ?…

It is not all you can eat, they have different menu options, there's no minimum.

What are the vegetarian broth options?

Thank you so much for the question. We have Vegetarian Spicy Broth and Tomato Broth here.

    Do they serve alcohol?

Yes, we have definitely gotten beer here but I can't recall how extensive the alcohol menu was.

I would love to order takeout, but do you have one for Hotpot, possibly combo B?I know that you keep your place clean but it is very risky for my health and I cannot take a chance to eat inside. I hope you have that option if I order takeout/delivery?

Hi Jenn. Thank you so much for asking the question. Yes! We do have takeout option. We will also let our customers take our induction cooker and pot home for free. We need to take some deposit, but will be fully refund when you return our stuff.… Read more

Is this place all you can eat?

We are bringing our customers quality protein and fresh vegetables, so we are not all you can eat style. Our price is very reasonable and if you come with a big group, the price is actually lower than all you can eat.

The flow of food to our table was great, not too fast or rushed and not too slow. Our waitress was wonderful and ensured that our group had everything that we needed to enjoy our meal. Will I be back again - Absolutely!! Everyone in our group agrees that this is the best Chinese food anywhere! I will caution some seeing this review that unlike many other Asian restaurants, if you order a Hot and spicy dish here it will indeed be very hot. I consider that to be good because I enjoy hot spicy food, but for those who cannot handle hot food stick with the milder dishes.

Simply put, everything we ordered was a home run. The soup - Wonton - was splendid. The broth had far more kick, far more substance, far more taste than the stuff we've managed to get at other local restaurants - and more clearly matched what I've eaten in Chinese restaurants throughout Southeast Asia . . . and, of course, in my few trips to Beijing. The egg rolls immediately made me think of this little hole-in-the-wall take-out Chinese joint in Brooklyn that I recall . . . from fifty years ago. The place was situated on the corner of Bay Parkway and 86th street, right at the point where the elevated track for the B train was located - and immediately became my father's first stop as he descended the station's stairs at the end of his workday, leading right to the front door of that cookery. He always ordered an egg roll or two, ate one standing in the entryway to the cook shop, and brought several home. Those Szechuan Garden egg rolls immediately, for me, resonated with the vigorous, deep taste of those Brooklyn delectables. We had a simple fish dinner with white rice, and an eggplant cooked deeply and wrapped in a thin dough covering - never had eggplant that way before and it was, again, a home run. The fish was so very simple, so very tasty - unforgettable. Thankfully, we have enough leftovers to make for another great meal today. We now have a new favorite restaurant near our home in Durham.

The fried dumplings were crispy, not at all greasy, and filled with very flavorful filling, coupled with a perfectly paired dipping sauce. All of this was swimming in some of the most amazing Szechuan peppercorn broth that was spicy, but not numbing and not overpowering. It was the perfect broth to wrap each ingredient in flavor. After I finished all of the delicious beef and veggies, I went for the noodles. I never really new what "bouncy" meant when describing noodles until today. The quail egg was the heart of it. Got the bone broth this time. While the broth is good, it's not great to the point I'd crave for this. I'm honestly not a big fan of the rice noodles but they went well with the broth. My girl got the noodle dish with the beef tripe, and we also ordered beef tripe for appetizer and milky rice cake for dessert. The beef tripe is one of our favorite appetizers, and it's perfect with Japanese beer. The noodles are a bit spicy but the spice level was adjusted low to my girl's liking. The rice cakes were good but not the best we've tried. It's something we'd order again though. For 2 people, we ended up spending around $50, including tips, so reasonably priced but not as satisfying as a dim sum dinner. | Overall Score: | Overall Score: 4.1/5

Noodle Blvd is located in a spot that you could easily miss, but it's easy to get back on track. I pulled into the gas station parking lot beside the restaurant, then just turned right into the restaurant parking lot. The parking lot is fairly small, so be warned about that. My friend was there when I arrived, and he sat at the bar. When I walked in the door, I was greeted with smiles and waves. It was very inviting, which is fitting for a ramen restaurant. My friend ordered us Lychee Margaritas, and oh my goodness, it was so good! We decided to visit right at opening on a Saturday, so the bartender was still preparing some of the ingredients needed for the margarita. The bartender informed us that it's usually better once a key ingredient sits for a while, but I loved the drink regardless. I ordered edamame for an appetizer, which came quickly and was good! Since I've never had ramen before, I asked our server what he recommended, and he told me about some of their most popular dishes. He told me the N9. Chicken Curry Ramen was a favorite of his and the patrons, so I decided to order that. It came quickly, and I was immediately in HEAVEN upon my first bite. I loved every bite after! I decided to play it safe with the spice and got level 2, but I can definitely go up a level or 2 since I love spicy. Highly recommend, and I will be back! Worth the drive from Clayton, where I live.

The short rib ramen was good, but the noodles were short, like they were cut or made short on purpose. The shrimp shumai was disappointing. Small bite sized portions, but they were soft. After cutting into one, I found out that they use rice as a filler with a bit of shrimp. I've never seen rice used in shumai, unless it's Shanghai sticky rice shumai. Also got a unagi don togo, it was good, just a bit small on the portion of eel, but it's hard to mess up an unagi don.
