The worst enchiladas I have yet to have!! For $18 there was almost no meat, and a bunch of tortillas with cheese on the bottom. It was disappointing and I threw it out! If I wanted to eat a package of tortillas I would have bought them. There are plenty of great places to get good enchiladas. This is NOT IT!! read more

This restaurant is where the locals eats, the staff do the customers by their names. The customers knew the staff. It was very much like eating at a family restaurant with family. I ordered Chile Relleno, cheese enchilada, refried beans and rice. My hubby ordered the Chile Relleno burrito - absolutely delicious. The green enchilada sauce was one of the best I've ever eaten-delicious Shelley flavor creamy and spicy - loved it!! read more

I had a brisket burrito with red and green sauce. I prefer the red sauce, which was so good. I also had 2 churros, which were the best churros I've ever had. If you can handle spicy I definitely recommend the red salsa they give you with the chips, it has such good flavor. The waiter we had was awesome. read more

Amazing place! Our waitress was amazing! My husband had their works burger. Meat was so tender and juice and the patty was huge! First time I had the Mexican beef short rib and vegetable soup. The flavor is mild but taste better with the rice and a few drops of lime juice. Highly recommend this place! read more

OK, so I've only eaten here three times now... But this is definitely one of those places that, I've already found myself obsessing over... Meaning, figuring out how and when I can stop by... to and from southern New Mexico/El Paso. Today worked out perfectly... I had a very early breakfast so by 11 AM I was starving... And here it is 11:30 AM... And I'm headed back up north to Albuquerque under the influence of one of the best food drunks I've ever had :-). This place is not only excellent, it's truly memorable... Get anything with the brisket. So good. The beans are yummy there. But the rice is terrible. Staff is wonderful.

Polite, cheery, and kind from the moment we were greeted and seated by the proud staff member. Busy, with a pleasant atmosphere and community feel to the restaurant. Really disappointed in most of the food here. The chips and beans were the best part of our meal. Chips were warm, thin, and crispy. Beans had a very deep beany flavor and a great mouth feel. After that, it went downhill. This place seems to think if they put enough cheese on anything, it will taste good. The chili relleno got its flavor from the pepper even though it was stuffed and topped with cheese. Enchiladas were soft, gummy, and lacking flavor except for cheese. The Gordita was filled with a bland, dry ground beef. My wife's flauta was a deep fried concoction unlike any we've seen. Her taco had the same flavorless, dry ground beef. Strange thing is, the place was busy at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon. Service was fast and friendly. We wont be back. read more

We have eaten here twice since arriving in Las Cruces. Once at the restaurant and once home delivery. Both times the food was excellent. We were astounded by the size of the margarita. Welcome to Cha Chi's the server exclaimed when he brought it. We had enchilada, relleno and taco plates. All were excellent. Lots of food prepared exactly as it should have been. Delivery was also fine. The three crispy taco plates were great. The tacos were still crispy. Cha Chi's deserves our recommendation. Enjoy! read more

My daughter and I came in for dinner. We were greeted right away and seated. The staff was very friendly and nice. They were also very helpful. The food was very good I loved everything I ordered ( two cheese enchiladas, ground beef taco, chili Reno, it also came with rice and beans) I had both the red and green sauce and they were both delicious. The one and only complaint I have is with their beans. They were very bland and tasteless. Everything else was wonderful including the rice and the service. I had to give it only four stars strictly just because of the beans otherwise this would be a five star. read more

I didn't get a photo because my chile relleno plate looked so good I just dove in and scarfed it down. That was probably the best chile relleno plate in town. Even the beans and rice were a step above the normal. I used to think Nellie's had the best chile relleno plate but they don't have it on their menu anymore. My wife got the hamburger steak smothered in queso and the bite I had of that was also delicious. My father in law ordered the taco plate and although I didn't try his, it looked amazing too. I'll be putting Chachi's on my rotation of New Mexican food for sure. I'm getting hungry thinking about those chile rellenos and might have to go back tomorrow for lunch. Give Chachi's a try if you haven't yet. The ambience and service is also great so you just can't go wrong. read more
