Guy came here and said battery is dead and it's from 2017 so I should go to Nissan dealership as I will get it for free since it's under warranty. He jumped my car and when my husband got to the dealership service technician said battery is on its last leg but It doesn't have warranty says it's from 2013. I would hope that reading the battery's date is the basic thing one should be able to do especially when they work for a car service. This cost us 2h in route and 45 minutes on the phone with AAA. T &A towing of West Bollingbrook told AAA that we miss understood them and we wanted to go to Nissan. Really? This is not the first time we had a bad experience with them. Why would I possibly want to go to dealership if they could change my battery right in my garage?? We only went to the dealership because T&A technician suggested that we have it under warranty because he mistakenly read 2017 instead of 2013. We didn't get any apologies no free battery nothing... Now I have another T & A towing on my driveway, different guy. Ended up paying $141 plus tax even though AAA told me they should charge me $136.... I don't have energy to fight over $5 so I'm letting go. read more

Horrible experience. Driver left horrible mess in my car and tried to blame mechanic for the mess. I work with this mechanic for years now and this was never a case. T&A Driver thought I got car back like that while in fact mechanic receiving the car tried to protect his business and documented how car was received after delivery. I called driver who simply disregarded my comments and request for contact with business owner - at the end he simply hang up on me and didn't pick up after I called back again. Looks like this is T&A business model. Check the pictures and be a judge yourself if you want to give this company a call. Filing complain with BBB is next on my list. read more

Last night we waited 4 hours after calling AAA to have a car towed. From our understanding this place was dispatched twice to pick us up. They never showed after we waited 2.5 hours. The second time they gave us the tow company number...which was T&A Towing. When we called after waiting 1.5 hours for the second call, the man said he never got the call. Baloney! AAA confirmed that they did. And me and my elderly mother sat there waiting 4 hours in the dark in a town we don't know. When I asked if they could come tow us anyway, he said a flat no. In my life I have never had such a horrible experience. If something would have happened to me or my mother it would have been bad. It was cold and dark out, and this guy knew we never got towed and refused to even TRY to resolve why he never got the call from AAA. I complained to AAA and I hope they reach out to T&A for the aggravation they caused. And I am gonna send AAA all of these reviews as they seriously need to get T&A off their list. read more

Great service! Called AAA and TA was there in 10 minutes. 10 minutes later the service tech had put the spare on and inflated it.

They took a bit of time to get to my car, which was stuck in a turning lane, but once there they did a great job of getting my car where it needed to be. Once there I was informed that they could not fix the issue so please tow to a dealer. T and A towing went out of there way to do this for me. Fast and without any problems. i called AAA so they could come get my vehic because my key wouldn't turn so I could start my car up .. so they sent out this towing company to assist me however , when the driver showed up he didn't have the right equipment; also he didn't want too Do his job I finally got him to get my vehicle up on the flatbed then once he got my vehicle to the location he need help too get it off he didn't know what he was doing I had to assist him . He came off as he was high on drugs don't I repeat don't use this towing company . I even called the guy the next day to see if he would come back and put my vehicle in the proper spot because he left it block the driveway of the mechanic shop I had him take it too . I used my AAA car and they sent an extremely awesome guy (Terryon) from T&A Towing to help me out with an extremely dead battery. I was promised service within the hour; he showed up with 15 minutes. He had to replace the battery ... right in my garage. I have a TON to do this morning and he has me on my way on schedule and with little drama. I'm very pleased. read more

Wish I could give them 0 stars. Just wanted to have my weekend/project car towed out of storage in warrenville to my garage in Chicago. Right off the bat the driver was extremely rude on the phone and was giving me attitude when I said I needed it towed to Chicago. He finally showed up and then refused to tow it when he saw the plates were expired. Still don't understand how expired plates makes in untowable. Car hasn't had up to date plates in a while as it is a project car and not drivable at the moment. Had 3 other places tow it before and all didn't care at all. I Called west & sons to tow it and even they agreed that was silly. Don't waste your time with these guys. read more

Dont use this company!! If you have AAA make sure its not this company. I waited 2 hours on a service call that was 45 minutes, he called and was rude from the getgo, couldn't find my street on gps which was eola a common one, insisted I was somewhere else, when I called him back after 40 more minutes I asked if he was lost and needed directions he became rude and spiteful. When he finally showed up my vehicle was blocking a lane in an intersection and he saw my California plates and said tags were expired. I told him one block from my house was the new Illinois plates, I just came home from California that day and had not put on. He refused to tow or even pull me 25 ft away from harm. Honestly, I'd give them a zero star, worse service ever experience..(T & A Bolingbrook) We are currently here from San Antonio Texas, visiting family, have been having trouble with our battery since the holiday, we kept on getting it charge till today I gave up, I called AAA an they sent these folks down, horrible service, we would think they are paying for the battery, he refused to change it, he charged it for 28 min then tested, then said it was fine will not replace the battery. we took the van to the mechanic an Auto zone to have my starter, alternator, and battery check an they both stated an gave me in writing its the battery that is bad.....will be call AAA as soon as I am done here.. Very Rude tow truck drivers. I called and used AAA and this company was dispatched to me was rude. He let me sit in the cold while he hooked my car up. Then when he was taking me home he put me out of the truck in the middle of the street with oncoming traffic in the snow because I didn't have my ID. He also dropped my car off rudely to the mechanic and the Mechanic told me that the tow driver broke my control arm. I had a flat tire and I was tired. John came and took care of everything in a short period of time. He had the tools to change a Buick Reatta tire which had locks. I was amazed with his knowledge and foresight to carry all the tools to handle any car problem. He then followed me home by my request to be sure that I was safe. The service was beyond compare. It was pouring rain and I spun out and put my truck in the snow bank on the side of the road. I called AAA and they sent T & A towing. I had also locked my keys in the car and was stuck out in the rain. When the driver showed up, he handed me paper towels to dry off and I sat in his truck while he pulled my truck out. Don't call these guys. They're the worst! With three children with old cars AAA pays for it's self but getting T&A Towing is always a nightmare. Most recently my daughter used my car and spun out in the rain, hit the curb and bent my back wheel. The guy from T&A shows up and says "why did you call us it looks drivable to me". I tell him the wheel is bent the tire is damaged and it's not safe to drive, could you just put the spare on? He pulls a small screwdriver out of his pocket and starts poking it through the hubcap and says where is the spare? UM. IN THE TRUNK!.THE OPEN TRUNK! I got the spare out of the trunk while he played with his little screwdriver till I asked him "do you know what you're doing"? Rude from the start, late and then there's the tow truck driver that calls asking where I am at despite getting the referral from AAA which included the address. I tell him the address which I have to repeat three times--apparently mentally altered in some way he says "by the Panda express?" when I confront him on his inability to take an address, listen for an address or respond that he has heard an address he says ok and hangs up. then Carlos calls to say that I hollered at his driver--this unreal situation gets worse as then carlos walks up to where I have been standing waiting--no truck and when I asked if he was with the tow company as he was dressed in mechanic overalls(and was wearing a headset for calls), he says "No" and asks me for the address of site we were standing at--he said but I'm a towdriver--bizarre right? he goes into the store buys nachos and walks away--then two calls into AAA and one hour later no tow company or reemergence of the strange tow man in overhauls . strange situation, inadequate and incompetent tow driver that can't note an address or retain information. unreliable company. I requested a flat bed through AAA and they sent the driver to my house. He asked me to drive the car up the ramp and I said no I didn't want the responsibility so he got in the car and as he drove it up the ramp the front end hit and damaged the front honeycomb air dam. The driver herd the noise and stop the car. Then he backed the car off the tamp and said it was not Hus fault. I was there and saw it all. Too bad the driver could not admitted his mistake. called AAA for a tow they said 32 miles @ $4 pe r mile. Tow truck arrived and saw that my vehicle was a taxi and told me they charge extra for commercial vehicles. Said it would be 150. I called AAA to confirm and the driver left without telling me. I would have gladly paid him the 150 but he took off. Had to wait 1 hr forv t he initial showup. Then 1 hr for another truck. AAA was efficient and dispatched us to T & A out of Naperville and to you guys at T&A, you're lucky to have a guy like JUAN. I was met by Dustin (or Justin), and while he was having a bad night due to hid dog being sick, was rude, was unwilling to check the air pressure in the spare he put on, even though it was almost flat, and constantly complained about his job. He oral heated the lug nuts onto the spare so hard, I don't know if they will ever come off. I tried calling the number AAA gave me to give them feedback and there was no answer. He seemed concerned. He was easy to talk to so I asked lots of questions. He worked quickly. He pumped up my spare just to be safe. He had all the right equipment. I felt like I was in good hands. Well I have to say my first experience with this company was a great one. It was a Saturday morning and our old truck was dead so we called AAA and within 20 minutes a very nice man came out and worked for an hour on getting it started. He understood everything about the mechanics of it and explained it to us as he was working. He got it started and off we went! Then 2 weeks later the same thing happened and we called AAA who sent the same company (T and A) but it was another guy who brought a box jumper to start the truck. This did not work because it wasn't charging the battery first it was simply just to jump it. He tried it once, said not going to work, I stated we just had a man here to help and it took a while but he was able to get it. He charged the box on his truck to give it full power and then tried it again. I explained I know I only know a little about this but we need "cables" to get it started. He said they don't carry cables. I said we just had someone do this with 3 sets of cables. He said and I quote "you are not understanding me, we do not have cables". He tried the box again and it obviously didn't work. I said please leave and we called AAA for another company that could help us of which they stated it would probably be an hour to find someone else. Needless to say I learned how to jump my own car that night. It took no less than 15 minutes for me to hook up the cables and get enough juice to start the truck. Awful attitude and very unprofessional from the so called mechanic. I had thought about using them in the future for any problems but now I will never ask for them nor let them come for AAA service's.
