Being in Hawaii, I was not able to just run over for a test drive and to see the truck. Sean made me video after video even with his kind voice being recorded in real time going step by step of the truck. There were many others inquiring about the truck as it had just been posted on their website. When I told Sean I wanted it and knowing the money and shipping processes, I was worried that someone may walk onto the lot and purchase before I was able to get my finances in order etc. Sean literally did everything possible to make sure I would have that beauty in my driveway over in Hawaii. When trying to buy a vehicle off island sometimes it can be rather difficult especially when you are up against local buyers. I have had a few vehicles shipped over and I must say, Sean made this experience one of my best memories. The time he took daily over a few weeks with me was by far absolute superior service. Once we got everything in order and paperwork back and forth, then came the shipping. Sean took photos and videos of my truck being loaded onto the simi as it pulled away from the the dealership and continued to update me over the next 4 weeks while it was in transit. Sean does not stop there, Sean kept in constant contact to be sure I had my truck in my driveway and to be sure it was everything I had dreamed of. Sean truly built an ever lasting friendship which goes way beyond the signing of the contracts and payments. Avoid this place at all costs…read more I bought a 2020 Audi PHEV about three years ago. The check engine light hit about an hour after taking it off the lot. I called to return it and the owner said to take it to Audi as it still was under the full warranty. It sat on the lot for nearly two years waiting on parts - finally having the entire electrical system replaced. I drove it for about a year then a couple of months ago it wouldn't start. I called Luxury Auto Plex and the owner told me he would pay any deductibles on my "fully refundable" extended warranty, so take it into the dealership. The repair was declined so I paid for it out of pocket. Last week it started making strange noises and I had enough so I lost about 6k and traded it in. As for the fully refundable GMC warranty? It's not cancellable or refundable upon selling the car - the only way to cancel it was to default on the loan or total the car. They told me to call the dealership, lol. Stay away from Luxury Auto Plex and DO NOT FALL for the GMC Extended Warranty. Not worth the paper it's printed on and you will not get any refunds.

Here is most of my complaint to the service manager Kenny Bowers: "On July 27th, my 2011 GMC Acadia Denali was brought in for what I believed to be was an issue with the starter. In addition to a host of other repairs that were found needing to be made, the length of time it was taking to address my inquiries (with the only communication via text) was over three days. I finally just asked for the starter to be replaced and an oil change. This amount came to $1419.43. When I picked up the car July 30th, I immediately noticed that the HVAC unit had been compromised. This unit was in perfect working condition in all modes previously. The fan was set on high and the A/C was on (I did not leave it in this mode). I spent several minutes analyzing different modes and vent options only to find the unit kept producing very high heat when the temperature was set to the lowest degree. The A/C did not work at all. I immediately notified Bill and Josiah. I was told that "sometimes these things happen with these old Acadias" and it was nothing they did on the service end. It was also insinuated that I could be lying, how did they know if it was working or not when I brought it in? After a week of trying to talk to the manager about this issue, Josiah finally reached out (again, via text) and said they would look at the car again and see if anything might have been done during the service. I was eventually able to get my car back in for service August 5th. The conclusion was the same and the subsequent repairs came to $1049.36. Mind you, I had just been told the week before that I had $4648 worth of repairs in addition to the starter! I will not elaborate on the way that Josiah dealt with the handling of this issue except to say that he told me, "Look at the condition your car was in when you gave it to us MELISSA." He basically said, "I told you so" about the diagnosis." Kenny denied my request saying what they serviced had nothing to do with the new problem and they will not be performing any service for free. I will never go back to this dealership, and you shouldn't either. Youve been forewarned.

This dealership though was unresponsive through most of the experience. They would not take phone calls, but rather only communized through text messages. The vehicle went in October 30th of last year and was not repaired until early December. We actually got notified from our charging app and that's how we knew to reach out and see if it was ready. No one informed us and probably were never going to. The car sat on some alternate lot somewhere in Beaverton for almost 2 weeks with the new battery on site. Additionally, when we went to pick it up they handed us a packet of papers, the keys and just pointed to where our car was. No customer service, not even a basic rundown of what took so long or happened to the car. I know repairs take time, but 44 days without my nice car that I spent a lot of money on has burned the bridge for me. GM never responded about the software breaking the car and the dealership for why it took so long to get repairs done. I would discourage anyone from buying a Cadillac until the company cleans up its quality control and as other reviewers have mentioned, go to Salem for better service.

The engine is broken and the warranty won't cover it because it's not broken enough Do NOT buy an extended warranty with these guys. You'll get screwed and not in a nice way. I'm having a lawyer investigate this. What carmax did is pretty shady so I might be able to get them reported to the bbb and fined.
