Filipino inspired food and drinks... count me in. It's great to see a Filipino inspired place in Claremont. We ordered the mango sago, and two drinks. We had it with the pink boba and it was great. Not too sweet and has a good chew. Service was quick and efficient. They also gave us sample of the ube mochi, which was not too sweet and was still light. I need to try their calamansi based drinks next time.

We walked here after lunch when we were in the area, and I'm glad we did! The owner is so sweet and caring! While we were waiting for my drink, the owner came out with samples of one of their desserts (mango mania--delicious!) for everyone waiting. I ordered an ube milk at 25% sweetness, and when the owner brought it out for me, she told me she could adjust the sweetness if needed. It was actually perfect for me!

I really hope everyone gets a chance to stop in. The owner is incredibly sweet and you can tell she really loves what she does. They offer different Philippine style foods on Saturday's and even offer catering if you call ahead. The store is very cute. We got the seasonal grape tea and the strawberry mango mojiteo. I can't specify enough how sweet she is and it was a pleasure talking with her.

Stopped by OONA Boba House in Claremont for some bubble tea and it was a really fun, casual spot to grab a drink. They've got a great variety of milk teas, fruit teas, and unique refreshers -- plus lots of topping options to customize your order and snack food options too.

Was working in the area and stopped in for a boba slushie in the afternoon. It's a cute little shop with a decent sized seating area and a few outlets to plug in. The windows face the downtown area so it's a great place to study and get a sweet treat. You can order on the Ipad or at the counter with a person and I chose the counter. I went with a simple passion fruit slushie with boba and it was ready pretty quickly. I enjoyed my slushie in the store whilst scrolling on my phone and it was a nice break. Definitely will try their milk teas next time.

Another hidden gem at the Claremont Village. They just opened last year, and I didn't know about it until a friend told me to try it out. It's a cute boba place. They have a good selection of drinks, snacks and meals. Service was quick, and their prices are reasonable. I had Jasmine green tree (50% sweetened) with crystal boba. I will come back and try other things and give another review, but so far, so good. Worth checking out when in the area.

    Oolong Milk Tea

This boba shop is under new ownership. It used to be called T&Joy. I ordered the oolong milk tea with less ice, brown sugar boba, and 25% sweetness, and the drink was extremely sweet for me. The employee was kind enough to remake my drink for me after I let him know that I prefer my drinks to be less sweet. The boba and milk tea quality wasn't the best, but it will hit the spot. They've received a higher rating from me for their stellar customer service.

Passion green tea with pink boba, passion fruit jelly, jelly cake, and popping boba!!!

Thank you Rowena!!! So many toppings to choose from! Homemade jelly cake so special and yum. Looks like a sunrise, tastes like a dream!!!

I wanted to support local and a new business , so I decided to try this new boba/snack shop. It had great reviews, but I had an inkling they were perhaps written by friends and family. I ordered at a kiosk, so minimal interaction with employees. The lady who handed me my drink seemed friendly. I ordered the 16oz dirty brown sugar milk tea with boba. It was watered down and overly sweet. It didn't have the creamy milk taste or tea taste. The boba was hard and wasn't chewy. Honestly it was too sweet , so I threw it away. I also ordered the 16oz mango black tea with lychee. It was too sweet. I salvaged this by adding ice to it, but it too didn't not taste like tea. Lychee jelly was the standard premade stuff all boba shops have. Limited street parking. Clean from my quick glance around. The previous boba shop at this location was subpar as well. I hope they improve.

Ube latte, ube parfait, ube krinkle, mango float, and banana bread

Had a craving for ube, so we went to OONA Boba. We started with the popcorn chicken bento boxes for lunch, which were delicious and filling. Had to get the ube latte with boba and a variety of yummy desserts. The ube krinkle cookies are a must!!!

French Fries, $4.50 So incredibly delicious, best tasting fries I've ever had.

The boba milk tea I got (Brown Sugar Oat Milk Tea) was amazing! Better than other boba places I've tried so far. The boba was also freshly made and hot. But the drink itself kept its very cool refreshing taste. The cup was also very cute. We also ordered fries and they were the best tasting fries ive ever had. Perfectly seasoned. I usually prefer extremely crispy fries but these were very good with a nice crispy outside and soft inside. The place smelled incredible too. This location doesnt have enough parking for the amount of business this place will and should have. The workers are incredibly kind and professional. For those with gluten/dairy allergies and intolerances Nina takes it extremely seriously and is knowledgeable. She took it more seriously than some dedicated gluten/dairy friendly places I've been. The shop itself was very clean and welcoming. The #1 thing for me personally was the service. You seriously don't receive service this kind and professional anywhere anymore it seems. You can find a lot of places with quick service, with professional service, and with very nice service. But rarely do you find a place like this one that has all 3. I'd certainly recommend this place for boba to anyone within a 30 minute driving radius. It's worth the drive and depending on how much exceptional service matters to you, an even longer drive would still be worth it.

Big pieces of fried tofu and the matcha were yummy. Cravings were satisfied.

Coworker's Paradise in North Pomona! (sorry if it sounds like I'm writing a Zillow listing, but I'm…read morejust trying to get this to show up in search results if anyone else is curious LOL) OUTLETS: Plenty of outlets!!! There's a set of steps with pillows on each step with a block of about six outlets beside them, and a really comfy, sinky couch (plus an ottoman and two comfy looking armchairs and a big table in the middle) with a set of two outlets on the wall and a star shaped power strip sticking out of the ground with six outlets coming out of it. There are also regular tables and it seems like there are outlets beside them as well. WIFI: The wifi is open (no password necessary), even though they have a password listed where you pick up your food (it's just Sanctuary Coffee). I tried to use one of the locked ones (the only one that made sense), but the wifi password didn't work, so I'm not sure why they have one listed. Regardless, albeit not the fastest wifi I've ever used, it's incredibly doable. I have been working remote here for 1.5 hrs and had almost no issues. MENU: For LA, relatively cheap. I am not a coffee or tea drinker, so I got the peach Italian soda, which was yummy. I believe it was about $4.89, which is not bad at all. I went to And Destroy in the Highland Park-ish area, and I believe an Italian soda with cream (cream is free here) was maybe $7-8. I'm used to paying more for drinks because the specialty (non coffee and tea) drinks are usually pricey, but this was one of the cheapest things on the menu. Also, you can claim a free pastry with your email and first name on their website (it sends you a voucher, just show the email). I got the banana bread, which was fine. I would've gotten zucchini, but it wasn't chocolate chip zucchini. ATMOSPHERE: Not too loud, the music is nice and chill and not very loud. There's cute art on the walls and homey looking lamps. It's the quintessential living room coffee shop, perhaps even rivaling Republik Coffee in Burbank in comfiness, noise level, aesthetic, and price (which is a bummer, because I likely will never be back - we just happened to be in North Pomona today, and I have no idea when we'd ever elect to drive this far again LOL). PARKING: It's in a little strip mall, so there's an actual aboveground lot with plenty of free parking (at least I think it's free, I got dropped off so I didn't pay much attention). Overall, I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking to cowork in a cozy atmosphere for relatively cheap in the North Pomona area. It checks all of my boxes except distance from home. I hope this review helps someone, because I always try to find this information on Yelp about new places to visit and it can be very difficult to find! BATHROOM: I believe there are two single person bathrooms like not stalls just one bathroom. Cute art and aesthetic inside, there are hooks on the walls for your stuff. The air dryer was not very strong and there were no paper towels or seat covers, but other than that there was a nice faucet and cute nice soap like homey soap you'd see in someone's house, and the lock worked fine.

Very relaxing atmosphere (at least when I visited). Customer…read moreservice was great! Coffee and desserts were very tasteful. I will definately be back to sample other desserts.

It's not awful, but it tastes frugal. I arrived at Almond Haus Cafe (Claremont) on Sunday (around 12:20PM). Parking is easy. The lot is very big. My immediate impression of the location's interior is "abandoned warehouse." There's cardboard boxes lying about; the lights are dim & gloomy; and the furniture & walls looked old and poorly maintained. There were no customers, other than myself. Staff zipped out from the back when I'd entered. There's no self-service kiosks, so customers order at the counter. Staff is friendly and welcoming. After receiving my drink, Staff vanished into the back for the entire time. The drink took one minute and six seconds. Fast!! As mentioned, the Brown Sugar Milk Tea ($5.50) with Boba (additional 79 cents) is not awful. It's big, cheap, and thirst-quenching. Although the boba lacked any perkiness, I did appreciate its very small sweetness. Concerning the ambiance, it felt sad. Chairs had mysterious black stains, dust & webs gripped the windows' corners, yellow & aged plants lazed about, and lights stayed dimly lit like a haunted house. However, there's utility. Almond Haus Cafe (Claremont) has six electrical outlets. There's also customer internet with password; details on the plastic countertop. And there's a restroom for customers. In addition, the floors and tables are fairly clean. Overall, Almond Haus Cafe (Claremont) feels like a forgotten relic of time. At the very minimum, it's an adequate establishment. If you're searching for affordability and a place to study/work, there's potential. 3.3 out of 5

I prefer the marshmallow cream top to be a bit thicker, considering it is marshmallow after all. 2) Chai Latte - My sister thought her drink was okay. Mind you, this is her first time trying chai lol. I took a sip of her drink, and the cinnamon and cardamom flavors were strong. It's a bit sweeter than I prefer, but it can always be adjusted.
