Matcha with sea salt cream foam

As soon as I walked into the store I knew the experience was going to be amazing. The various food offered was fresh and delicious - we got the spam musubi, fries, and fried dumping bento box. The drinks were so fresh and unique, and the matcha with sea salt cream foam was genuinely the best, creamiest matcha I've ever had. There was a big middle schooler rush but the two guys and one woman behind the counter were on top of it, having our orders out in like ten minutes. I wish I lived closer by to come every day.

Filipino inspired food and drinks... count me in. It's great to see a Filipino inspired place in Claremont. We ordered the mango sago, and two drinks. We had it with the pink boba and it was great. Not too sweet and has a good chew. Service was quick and efficient. They also gave us sample of the ube mochi, which was not too sweet and was still light. I need to try their calamansi based drinks next time.

We walked here after lunch when we were in the area, and I'm glad we did! The owner is so sweet and caring! While we were waiting for my drink, the owner came out with samples of one of their desserts (mango mania--delicious!) for everyone waiting. I ordered an ube milk at 25% sweetness, and when the owner brought it out for me, she told me she could adjust the sweetness if needed. It was actually perfect for me!

This is a cute and clean place with a wide variety of menu items. Although they have a self-ordering kiosk, they have a friendly staff in case you have questions. I always ask for suggestions because there's so much on the menu that I can't decide. I've tried their matcha, iced teas, iced coffee, "mojitos," smoothies, pandan, pancit, chicken wings, fish, bento box, and other Filipino treats (my fave). The food is well-seasoned, crispy and fresh and they never skimp out on sauces. They always ask if you'd like certain items mild or spicy, which I appreciate. Oona also has THE VERY BEST LUMPIA in the entire area (I have tried several), that is what I always recommend along with SHRIMP TEMPURA!Next time you visit, ask them if they have any special menu item that day... sometimes they have turon (fried banana rolls) and other fun dishes. My only regret is that I forget to take more pictures because I get so excited to just eat. High key, I wish they were a whole full-service restaurant so I could go for breakfast, lunch, dinner and a sweet treat

Stopped by OONA Boba House in Claremont for some bubble tea and it was a really fun, casual spot to grab a drink. They've got a great variety of milk teas, fruit teas, and unique refreshers -- plus lots of topping options to customize your order and snack food options too.

Was working in the area and stopped in for a boba slushie in the afternoon. It's a cute little shop with a decent sized seating area and a few outlets to plug in. The windows face the downtown area so it's a great place to study and get a sweet treat. You can order on the Ipad or at the counter with a person and I chose the counter. I went with a simple passion fruit slushie with boba and it was ready pretty quickly. I enjoyed my slushie in the store whilst scrolling on my phone and it was a nice break. Definitely will try their milk teas next time.

Another hidden gem at the Claremont Village. They just opened last year, and I didn't know about it until a friend told me to try it out. It's a cute boba place. They have a good selection of drinks, snacks and meals. Service was quick, and their prices are reasonable. I had Jasmine green tree (50% sweetened) with crystal boba. I will come back and try other things and give another review, but so far, so good. Worth checking out when in the area.

I really hope everyone gets a chance to stop in. The owner is incredibly sweet and you can tell she really loves what she does. They offer different Philippine style foods on Saturday's and even offer catering if you call ahead. The store is very cute. We got the seasonal grape tea and the strawberry mango mojiteo. I can't specify enough how sweet she is and it was a pleasure talking with her.

This boba shop is under new ownership. It used to be called T&Joy. I ordered the oolong milk tea with less ice, brown sugar boba, and 25% sweetness, and the drink was extremely sweet for me. The employee was kind enough to remake my drink for me after I let him know that I prefer my drinks to be less sweet. The boba and milk tea quality wasn't the best, but it will hit the spot. They've received a higher rating from me for their stellar customer service.

Thank you Rowena!!! So many toppings to choose from! Homemade jelly cake so special and yum. Looks like a sunrise, tastes like a dream!!!

Iron & Kin was recommended to my by a good friend, so I've had this spot on my "GOTTA TRY" list for months. Alas, the chance finally arose and I got to try it out two days in a row! The first time around, I tried the mango cold brew. I was skeptical at first at the combination of ingredients because I initially thought, "there's no way that mango and coffee can be a thing!". Well, apparently they can be! This beverage was well balanced between the cold brew, the cold foam, and the mango flavoring. The second time, I had gotten an iced matcha latte with a splash of vanilla and that was also delicious! Apparently, the must-haveitem is the iced latte, so I'll be sure to try this out next time and update my review accordingly. I imagine it's going to be OUTTA THIS WORLD! Also, the vibe and aesthetic of Iron & Kin is modern, sleek, and it's a great place to meet with a friend or to hop on your computer and do some remote work. I could definitely see myself coming here more frequently (whenever I'm in town) and setting up shop here. The staff are INCREDIBLY friendly, and althought they are busy, they still are attentive, helpful, and joyful to be in presence with. Iron & Kin is, in fact, a fantastic coffee & tea spot in the Claremont area! I highly recommend it to any folks that are in the area, looking for a yummy spot to stop at for an iced (or hot!) beveraggino.

Not bad, not memorable, just ok. For that much time standing around, I'd expect something worth the wait. It isn't. Save yourself the time and check out one of the other spots nearby instead.

There's a set of steps with pillows on each step with a block of about six outlets beside them, and a really comfy, sinky couch (plus an ottoman and two comfy looking armchairs and a big table in the middle) with a set of two outlets on the wall and a star shaped power strip sticking out of the ground with six outlets coming out of it. There are also regular tables and it seems like there are outlets beside them as well. WIFI: The wifi is open (no password necessary), even though they have a password listed where you pick up your food (it's just Sanctuary Coffee). I tried to use one of the locked ones (the only one that made sense), but the wifi password didn't work, so I'm not sure why they have one listed. Regardless, albeit not the fastest wifi I've ever used, it's incredibly doable. I have been working remote here for 1.5 hrs and had almost no issues. MENU: For LA, relatively cheap. I am not a coffee or tea drinker, so I got the peach Italian soda, which was yummy. I believe it was about $4.89, which is not bad at all. I went to And Destroy in the Highland Park-ish area, and I believe an Italian soda with cream (cream is free here) was maybe $7-8. I'm used to paying more for drinks because the specialty (non coffee and tea) drinks are usually pricey, but this was one of the cheapest things on the menu. Also, you can claim a free pastry with your email and first name on their website (it sends you a voucher, just show the email). I got the banana bread, which was fine. I would've gotten zucchini, but it wasn't chocolate chip zucchini. ATMOSPHERE: Not too loud, the music is nice and chill and not very loud. There's cute art on the walls and homey looking lamps. It's the quintessential living room coffee shop, perhaps even rivaling Republik Coffee in Burbank in comfiness, noise level, aesthetic, and price (which is a bummer, because I likely will never be back - we just happened to be in North Pomona today, and I have no idea when we'd ever elect to drive this far again LOL). PARKING: It's in a little strip mall, so there's an actual aboveground lot with plenty of free parking (at least I think it's free, I got dropped off so I didn't pay much attention). Overall, I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking to cowork in a cozy atmosphere for relatively cheap in the North Pomona area. It checks all of my boxes except distance from home. I hope this review helps someone, because I always try to find this information on Yelp about new places to visit and it can be very difficult to find! BATHROOM: I believe there are two single person bathrooms like not stalls just one bathroom. Cute art and aesthetic inside, there are hooks on the walls for your stuff. The air dryer was not very strong and there were no paper towels or seat covers, but other than that there was a nice faucet and cute nice soap like homey soap you'd see in someone's house, and the lock worked fine.

I've been eyeing and peeking behind the blinds at this Nosy Neighbors for a while now and finally pulled the trigger today and mosey-ed on down. What a refreshing little shop in the heart of Claremont Village! Love the greenery surrounding the comfortable sofas, tables & bar seating. I perused their menu and found the ingredients to be so highly tempting. After reading about the menu, I had to stop myself from ordering 4-5 drinks all to my self. I narrowed it down to the Reptar latte that's matcha topped with ube cold foam and the Happy Nut latte mixed with almond & macadamia milk, pistachio syrup & pistachio cream. Staff a super amiable and the youn lady say me eyeing the mini donuts being made via a conveyer contraption & asked if I wanted a sample, I said, "Who me? I thought you'd never ask! You must've been reading my mind" lol. Either that or she saw me drool over the counter while I took a video of the donuts being made (see video please). I thought she was going to give me one mini doughnut, but instead she actually gave me about five mini donuts in one bag. She knew it was going to win me over and so I ordered a dozen coz Hubby would've mowed it all down and all I will have left is the cinnamon & sugar dusting. The drinks were made right away and both were heavenly. I especially loved the matcha with ube cold foam. There were a couple of outdoor seating but I definitely did not want to basque under a heat lamp today. There's only street parking but atleast it's free. It's busy but we snagged a spot right away. Great visit. **** Although, the only downside, my eyes were burning from the concentrated smell or frying of the donuts, that was strong and uncontrollable, perhaps the ventilation needs tweaking.

Staff zipped out from the back when I'd entered. There's no self-service kiosks, so customers order at the counter. Staff is friendly and welcoming. After receiving my drink, Staff vanished into the back for the entire time. The drink took one minute and six seconds. Fast!! As mentioned, the Brown Sugar Milk Tea ($5.50) with Boba (additional 79 cents) is not awful. It's big, cheap, and thirst-quenching. Although the boba lacked any perkiness, I did appreciate its very small sweetness. Concerning the ambiance, it felt sad. Chairs had mysterious black stains, dust & webs gripped the windows' corners, yellow & aged plants lazed about, and lights stayed dimly lit like a haunted house. However, there's utility. Almond Haus Cafe (Claremont) has six electrical outlets. There's also customer internet with password; details on the plastic countertop. And there's a restroom for customers. In addition, the floors and tables are fairly clean. Overall, Almond Haus Cafe (Claremont) feels like a forgotten relic of time. At the very minimum, it's an adequate establishment.
