    10/10 French onion soup

It's been probably 20 years since I've been to T-bones. Not by choice I just don't live in the area anymore. I was up in NH this weekend visiting my mom's neigh and she treated my husband and I to dinner at T-bones. I started with the French onion soup which was my all time favorite as a child. It did not disappoint. The best French onion I have had in a long time. I ordered the BBQ steak tips with Mac n cheese and broccoli. The tips were amazing and that was really awesome mac. My husband got the T-bone steak with a potato and broccoli and he said everything was great. I was impressed with the thickness of the steak. It was a chonger but he ate it all! My mom got the stuffed baked haddock with a baked potato and extra extra butter. She loved It. Service was awesome. Our Server was Bobby. He was very personable and even brought my mom extra butter for her extra extra butter which made her day. He was a great server. Attentive and knowledgeable on the menu! When Bobby came to the table, I recognized him from elementary school. I didn't want to be weird and mention it but it was nice to see him doing well. Thanks for the great food and service! We will definitely be back on our next visit up!

This restaurant has ample parking and it's shared with other businesses. I came here yesterday during lunch around 1pm and it wasn't too packed. It took awhile for somebody to greet us so we just decided to sit at the bar. Once seated it took another 10 min to get a menu and ask us what we wanted to drink. I know places get busy and what not but not to be greeted isn't the business. Anyhoo ordered a beer and got their lunch special which was a steak fajita roll up. Steak Fajita- The steak was pretty good but they put too much sauce inside the roll up and also not enough meat. It was more or so veggies and a tortilla than a steak fajita. Even though right now I'm giving them a 3 star, I'll return again to try dinner or their happy hour.

Stopped in for lunch, meal was great food took a little but to come out but was worth the wait. I had the backed haddock with garlic mushrooms and broccoli, it was phenomenal. Came with a French Onion soup for $23. My buddy had the blackened Salmon. He said it was good.

Ask a teenager where they'd like to go for their 15th birthday, they give you the name of this place. My initial thought? "Simple, yet acceptable." Yeah, my son has good taste sometimes. Since the lack of burger photos alarmed me, please allow this review with accompanying photo to serve as a remedy to that apparent void. It tasted fine, btw. Good charred sear, perfect medium temp, chalk full of flavor. Not the best, but far from bad. 8 out of 10, can't be a simple cheddar burger. We also ordered a different appetizer for once. Though....I wish I had remembered to take a photo of them as well: the bacon cheddar fries. Not really fries at all, these thick potato slices covered in seasonings and cheddar cheese were surprisingly delightful. The sour cream is a personal favorite addition. Put a little on top and you have quite the delectation, IMHO. Only problem is...this thing is WAY too big! Like, it's an appetizer that could easily satisfy up to 6 persons. Sadly, we couldn't finish it. 7 out of 10, be sure to bring a football team with you to help finish these. Service was fine, despite the bar moving extra slowly with drinks tonight for whatever reason. We usually just order to-go from here all the time. So, this was my first time dining in at this location. Obviously, we'll be back. The son approves and so do I. T-Bones receives 4 juicy cheddar burgers cooked a perfect medium out of 5.

Great service! Average food. Not a favorite. Decent ambience. I would just go to Suzie's right across the street.

The service is always amazing and the food is always on point and it never disappoints. The ambiance is like a typical diner with booths, no loud music so you can talk to your party. Let's get down to the food. Cinnamon Bun Pancakes- this is my go to because I love it! It's not overly sweet which I love and it reminds me on a cinnamon bun. I always get one lol Country Benedict- this is what I order every time I come here as my main dish. You get buttermilk biscuits instead of English muffins with sausage patties on top and the lovely gravy. The gravy is soo good. CHOCOLATECHIP pancakes- my daughter go to since she loves chocolate lol. Which 5 year old doesn't right? She always gets this and it's really good. So if you're in Hudson be sure to come here, you won't be disappointed.

** Patty Melt review **…read more Roadside eatery in a tiny strip plaza. Outside, it looks nothing like the classic New England train car style or New Jersey stainless steel style diners, but inside are countertop with stools, booths around the outskirts, and the hustle and bustle giving it a strong diner vibe. Like my visits to many diners, I was here on my patty melt quest. -- Patty Melt: First, the composition is faithful to the prototype, with a quarter pound patty (no smashburger nonsense), rye bread (no sourdough decoy), buttered (not merely toasted), and with the classic Swiss cheese, sautéed onions and thousand Island dressing. No fusion, no reinvention, no omissions, no hipster jive. Good crispness and butteriness on the bread, great melt on the cheese, and noticeable softness to the onions. Most importantly, the beef could be ordered medium rare, and they executed. More softness, with gushing juices and a really pleasing bite. I suspect nothing special to start with, but they cooked it to near perfection. Only quibble would be not much crust to the patty, but not as critical on a patty melt. -- Fries: I could have had tots or a few other options, but fries were fine. Almost certainly frozen, but the skin-on variety and not the dreaded coated kind. Nothing special, but good enough. Service was adequate. It seemed like everyone was prepping to get everything gathered and cleaned for closing about 90 minutes earlier than necessary, but that didn't detract. If anything, it shows initiative and hustle. Not much data to go on, but an easy 4 for me.
