IPHONE AT TMOBILE!!!! Yes I said it... they have the iPhone at PhoneX for TMobile Customers. I'm not normally the type to write a review on yelp but this past experience at PhoneX compelled me to write something. I walked in the store couple weeks anticipating to get another boring smartphone but was greeted by a young fellow named Phung or Phong (sp?). He told me they were running a promotion for the iPhone 4S through TMobile and my eyes lit up like a Christmas tree. But before he would let me pull the trigger on the iphone... he walked me through almost every single phone in the store and explained to me the pros and cons of each phone (comparing it to the iPhone). First... I'd like to say how shocked I was to see someone take the time to explain each and every phone to me on a busy Sunday afternoon. Second... I can't believe how knowledgeable this man was about phones. I thought they were all the same. (he's def. a certified/ bonified cell phone nerd). I will be honest and say he almost got me to go with the new Samsung Galaxy III but my materialistic LA ego got the best of me and ended up with the iPhone. Typically the phone buying experience would stop there but, the customer service didn't stop after I left the store. Since I've been making changes to my account, the guys at PhoneX were kind enough to assist me instead of me having to call the tmobile help desk (which isn't the most pleasant experience when you're impatient like me). So overall it's safe to say I had a pretty good experience. read more

That guy Phong was very helpful and straight forward. I have a grandfather plan and only 1 of the line in my family plan needed more data. I called customer care and they recommended for me to upgrade my plan to the new plan but it will cost me $80 more per month (umm no thank you). Then I consulted w/Phong and instead of trying to up sale me to the new plan, he suggested for me to keep the current plan and just upgrade the data for that 1 line which will only be $10 more per month. Instead of telling me what I need, he listened to my needs and found the best solution, saving me $70 per month, Thank You Phong. read more

I do a lot of my own research and am super skeptical about salespeople but these guys check out. They are helpful, honest, and straightforward about getting you the best value. I usually run into Phuong (the manager) and Arvin when I have questions or need to change something on my account. When my mom finally switched over onto my family plan and we couldn't unlock my mom's phone, Phong called his guy and let us come back after closing to pick it up. We actually couldn't unlock the phone though and when we couldn't do a contacts transfer he offered to do it for us by hand. They go the extra mile to earn your business. read more

Phong and YoYo exceeded all my expectations. Led by Phong they both went out of their way helping me get the phone and products I wanted (iPhone 6 Plus & dash mount). The place they really helped me was in setting up the new phone and transferring all my info over especially apps and music. They tried to charge me 20% more and then they said they would only accept cash. WOW! FIrst they tried to rip me off and then they tried to rip off the taxman!! I'm so glad I came to Phong.
