Glad i switched back, before i was with them but changed because at the time the tmobile location i went to didnt help me one bit as far as saving money goes. So i went to sprint. But As time went by sprints price got hard for me to take care of. Then one day i decided to visit tmobile to see their offers and deals that i hear so much on the radio, see if they upped their game. I was not disappointed They gave me a rundown on their prices, plans and it was so much better my current plan, im saving a lot more than i thought and they walked me through step by step. Made it very clear and they satisfied all my concerns. And im fortunate enough to stumble on this location because the workers knew what they were doing. I have such bad experience with this company ever!!! I opened a pre-paid phone line on June 13, 2012. The sales representative (his name is Colin) told me that the service was $60 for a month plus $25 connection fee (one time charge). The service would include unlimited text, unlimited minute and unlimited data. However, I suddenly got no service on July 1st. I called T-mobile tech support. T-mobile told me they have no record. Also, the phone number I got from PhoneX was under other person name. Then I called back Colin. He completely could not help me. T-mobile helped me to contact PhoneX and attempt to understand the situation. The conclusion from T-mobile is ......."DO NOT GET ANY SERVICE FROM PhoneX AGAIN". Also, T-mobile commented on my receipt that the $25 connection fee was unreasonable. T-mobile never charges this kind of fee for pre-paid phone. Do not do business with PhoneX! You will get rip off! If I can put no star or negative star above, I would like to do that. read more

I went to this t-mobile because of the good reviews but I honestly don't know why everyone gave this place 5 stars. Worst customer service EVER. Emily was helping me switch from AT&T to T-Mobile and I expressed to her my concern about having to pay a lot to cancel AT&T since I was still under contract and was still paying off my phone. But she reassured me that T-Mobile would pay off my AT&T bill if I turned in my phone. I turned in my new iPhone5 and my moms Samsung phone for two new iPhone 5 plus's. First things first...I was at the store THE WHOLE DAY. For 6-7 hours waiting for her. She was helping everyone out while trying to help me at the same time. Whatever, I get it. I'm in the customer service industry too so I didn't think too much of it. However, at the end of the night (had to stay until closing) she told me to come in with my final bill so they could pay it off. Then, I checked my credit card statement and turns out she double charged me. Hm, fine. Probably an accident so called her and didn't get the charge back instead, I had to go to the store again. Wait again. And was told she would take care of it. A day or two goes by and she just says they're going to charge that extra money towards this months bill - fair enough. THEN I get slammed with a $500+ final bill from AT&T. Didn't want to wait at this small store so I went to another one on Valley and turns out...gotta turn in the bill MYSELF. In fact, I have to wait 8 weeks for the prepaid Visa card! Oh, and he said I may not get 100% of it back.... He said I either have to pay for it myself or just wait. When I asked if AT&T would slam me with a late fee - he said usually no. Usually. What a confident answer. I was so flustered at the other store though! Why wasn't I told of this in the beginning?! Especially since I was there for 6-7 hours! SIX TO SEVEN HOURS!!! Other people were switching to T-Mobile that day as well and I never heard her once say anything about this. So I decided to pay for it myself and just do the reimbursement process myself... Didn't want to get slammed with a late fee nor have to affect my credit score so, I paid it off myself thinking I would get reimbursed now, T-Mobile will only reimburse me $135...OUT OF $580!!!!!!! Thanks Emily for wasting my time AND MY MONEY. I work two jobs and now I'm broke for the holidays thanks to your poor customer service. Calling the reimbursement department tomorrow to hopefully get this sorted out. Called this store to file a complaint against her. Never coming back EVER. UPDATE: Called the reimbursement department and turns out it's because EMILY wrote in my iphone has $0 value. Therefore, I wasn't qualified for the reimbursement but they made an exception. Ugh. So I've been an AT&T customer for over 10 years. Stopped by this store while waiting for a table at 101 noodles next door (best beef noodle soup btw). My friends said I got suckered into transferring my service to T-Mobile but I would beg to differ. These guys got straight to the point after greeting me when I walked in. They're really good at knowing and pin pointing my needs, which is a lower monthly bill. Not only were they able to do that, I'm getting unlimited data as well all while saving over $75/month vs AT&T. I was a little concerned about the network but so far so good and they told me about some free signal booster if I ever had issues with reception. I feel the staff there is genuine and overly knowledgeable with not only T-Mobile products but the wireless industry as a whole. Highly recommend! read more

This is the best T-Mobile in the 626 area because of how welcoming they are to you and your family. I met Scott Lam who helped me get an outstanding price on my plan with unlimited data. He also informed me that my previous plan was overpriced and he would switch me over with little to no hassle. Also, even though there was a line building up, the customer service was on par. All of the customers were tended to in no time and the sales reps were checking on everyone. Let me say first off that I've avoided mobile authorized retailers for like 10 years. They usually have hidden fees and sometimes the salesmen are akin to those shady used car salesmen. I just made the switch from Verizon to T-Mobile because Verizon is charging an arm and a leg for their service. I was hesitant to go in but after reading how crappy the premium retailers were around Alhambra I just gave this place a shot. I am glad I did. Phong is the store manager and he is helpful, patient, and most importantly honest. Ron helped me out at first, he is a nice guy too and set me up really fast. All around excellent customer service. They are straight forward, let you know what promotions are going on and how much everything will cost. As for patience, I watched Phong help this clueless woman on how to backup her iPhone on iTunes. It was a solid 10 minutes of him explaining to her what iTunes was. Hats off to you phong. And about the honesty thing, they'll even give you their honest advice about certain things. If you're planning on joining t mobile don't go anywhere else. This place is great. By far the best experience from a T-mobile store. Early in the week, wife's phone (LG4) went on bootloop. The worst part, she did not upload pictures to cloud. Went to about 2 Tmobile stores (Glendale and Figueroa stores), and non can help by just extracting the photos, AT LEAST. All had the 'sales pitch' lingo thinking that would fix our problem. Frustrated and about to lose some hope, Yelp'd T-mobile stores within distance and that led me to this store (great rating and reasonable distance). By luck, met this guy Phong. Gave him the quick run down and see if he can help. He knew my main concern were the photos in the broken phone. He took my phone, plugged it in their computer, and started going to work. The computer was downloading the photos..YES!!!. After the photos were transfered to sd card, I discussed with him my current plan and if he can help. No big sales talk, but he was focused on what our needs as a mobile user. He broke down our old plan, and what he can do with a new plan. After nearly 3 hours, (he hooked me up with lyche boba tea while waiting), and with a new plan written, he advised me if I don't mind coming back tomorrow since Samsung will have a 'ONE DAY' sale. Next day, went back to the store, he go me set up with our new family plan, I walked out with 2 new Samsung 7 Edge, a tablet, and most important, the pictures from the broken LG. Anybody looking for a new plan, upgrades, or just curious about possible switch to T-mobile network, go to this store FIRST! Look for Phong.
