He helped us get rid of both Comcast/Xfinity and Verizon. He was fun to work with and very knowledgeable. It took several hours to complete all of this, primarily because Verizon took some time to let us go. His lunch was delivered, and he refused to stop to eat it, although we wanted him to. By the time we were done, he was left with an inedible lunch, but we were all thrilled, including Mike. What a great guy.. They were very busy but greeted us and let us know they would be with us ASAP. The manager was dealing with a customer situation that had taken hours and was clearly stressed but still made sure we were taken care of. Dakota helped us to port my number over from Verizon to T-Mobile and gave me all the information I needed. The whole process took some time but she made it easy and comfortable and when I walked out to the car, I immediately received a call on my new service. Moe was also a joyful presence in the store. We didn't work with her but hearing her conversation with her customers clearly showed she cared. If you need to visit a T-Mobile store, this team will take care of you.

The screen on my child's iPad shattered on the way home from a road trip. Apparently, "it just broke on its own," according to said kid, but really, it looked like someone stepped on the iPad. Hmm, I wonder how that can happen, especially if you leave the iPad on the floor of the car like mom tells you not to do? Anyway, we called uBreakiFix on the way home, and we were able to schedule a drop off immediately. So we drove straight there and dropped off the shattered iPad on a Saturday evening. They told us it could be around 72 hours before we received it back. By Sunday evening, less than 24 hours later, the iPad was fixed and everything worked like normal. It was an amazingly quick fix on something that looked like it would take a while to deal with. We were very glad to have the iPad back (as was my child), and although it cost around $150 dollars, it was better than having to replace the entire iPad because of a severely cracked screen.

I went in to assess if switching made sense financially. I sat with Stephen, who just came from my current carrier. He looked at my current plan with said carrier, and I asked him 'How much would it cost us if we switched to Verizon?'. He said that if we signed up 5 lines our total out of pocket cost would be roughly $500, my monthly rate would stay the same and we'd all get Apple Music for free. Awesome! Say no more! So we decided to make the switch, came back with the fam and ended up paying about $100 more than he said (not a deal breaker). We got our first bill fairly soon after and not only was it $270 more than the cost of the forecasted monthly plan, we found out that our plan did not actually include free Apple Music. I talked to the manager and he said he'd try to make it right b/c 'there's a reason we have 4.9 stars' He did some 'creative' book work to make it look like we returned items that had not been returned and gave me a credit of a little over $100 in the store. He said he would continue to work on making us whole, but he'd have to wait on the sales for the rest of the month to see what kind of 'money he'd have to play with'. Two days later, they stopped answering calls. I went to the store to find that they went under renovation and I never heard from them again. I went to another Verizon store in the interim to find answers and they just shook their heads telling me that my first mistake was doing business with this location because they weren't an authorized Verizon retailer and that I wasn't the first person that had had issues with this store. Unfortunately, there wasn't much they could do. We decided to cut our losses and leave it alone. Two months later, we got a bill from our now past carrier that we owe $800 for the phones that were apparently still being paid off! I went back to the Verizon, which was now open, and I talked to Stephen. I told him what's going on and he said he'd talk to his manager and call me later that day. He called a few hours later to let me know that there is nothing they could about the $800 bill and that it isn't their responsibility to inform me of such things, and they wanted to make it 'abundantly clear' that if I thought about switching, I would then owe Verizon 'thousands of dollars'. All I have to tell you is BUYER BEWARE. These guys are much more interested in making a sale than helping customers make informed decisions that are best for them. Save your money, time and sanity by going to a 'verified' Verizon store (like on Greyhound Pass in Carmel) where there's actually some accountability. #verizonwireless

The phone issue wasn't simple so he created the pathway for us to get a fix should this initial attempt not work. He backed up everything, etc. Just what you'd hope for. I should have walked out as soon as I saw misspellings in their posted "guarantee policy" and that one employee was not wearing a mask. I was quoted 45 minutes to repair my cracked screen and apply privacy screen. True to their word, my phone's cracked screen was fixed. However, I could no longer use my gmail, safari, text messaging or camera. Also, my battery life was suddenly being sucked out. I told the maskless and unscrupulous employee that my phone was not working the way it was prior to repair. He stated it was a software issue and then jumped on YouTube to watch a tutorial on how to fix it. I was appalled. When I expressed my concern, he told me to go somewhere else, since I "knew so much more" than he did. Unprofessional, unscrupulous, not health or public safety- conscious and not trained or knowledgeable. They charged me $79 (with no receipt) and gave me back a worthless phone.
