This review is long overdue. My daughter and I went into this store to upgrade our phones and we had a rather complicated situation. I won't bore you with the details, however, I want to express my sincere gratitude to Shawn for taking care of us. We actually had to come in twice as my daughter did not have her new phone when we first came to the store. Shawn helped us the second time as well and we had another complicated situation because my daughter had changed her mind about which phone she wanted after it arrived. T-Mobile has pretty horrible service. We have 4 lines with T-Mobile and decided to port to ATT. Three lines ported over fine but my mother's line did not due to no fault of our own. We called T-Mobile and they said we need to go into the store to get another transfer PIN. We go to the store and they said we need to call customer service. We call customer service in the store and customer service gets into an argument with the store employee about who can give out a transfer PIN. What a headache! read more

T-Mobile has been charging my late father's phone line from 2020 until now, even though he passed away in March 2020 and we called in late 2020 to cancel the line. Despite multiple follow-up calls requesting a refund, nothing has been resolved. This is unacceptable and outrageous treatment of customers. Ok so while there the customer service was amazing, it was a vibe in there. BUT I can't enjoy my new phone because something went wrong during set up. Instead of finishing through we were only helped to the point of them closing. We were told we could stand outside and use the set up WiFi, which didn't sound too bad at first but there were complications and we couldn't ask for help in that moment. We came an hour before closing so we definitely shouldn't been finished through. I've never known a place to not finish off a customer who's there way before closing. It probably would've take an extra 10-15 mins. But now here we are, a 3 star review that could've been 5 stars. I just recently had a baby so this is a HUGE inconvenience for me to have to come back into the store but I'll be in soon, unfortunately. read more

I have been a T-Mobile customer with the same phone number since 2001. Don't believe the positive reviews. I was robbed in March 2025. My phone, wallet, and IDs were stolen. Afterwards, I visited this specific T-Mobile store 3 times for help. Each time that I visited, I did not receive help. I ordered a new phone online. The Store Manager of this T-Mobile location refused to help me activate my new phone because I couldn't "identify myself". I am the only person on my T-Mobile account. Keep in mind, I provided the store manager with the following pieces of identification: a copy of the robbery police report, my new temporary CA Driver's License, my certified CA birth certificate, my original Social Security Card, my old CA Driver's License (current one was stolen during robbery), my recently expired US Passport, my AAA card, my health insurance card, my car insurance card, and my student ID. The store manager told me that they could not help me because they did not "have a button on their tablet" that could help me. As a consequence, I was locked out of all SMS dual-authentication websites FOR WEEKS (email, healthcare, banks, taxes, proxies, etc.) while I waited for a new ID from the DMV. This *devastated* me professionally. I have always been very vocal to others about my satisfaction as a T-Mobile costumer, but I will never forgive this. You kicked me while I was down. Going forward, I will encourage everyone to port their number to a different provider, and I will use this store as a narrative. read more

Went into the store last week to add a line and get a new phone through their promotion. Because I was receiving a credit for the phone I was trading in, I was told I could purchase a phone cover. Cool....but before the transaction was completed by RUBY LEON and before my card was charged, I said I'd prefer two charge bricks. She said she needed to finish the transaction and then she could return it. Except she could not. RUBY then told me to just come back the next day to return it, which really ticked me off because if she had just taken it off before the transaction was completed, I wouldn't need to waste driving back and forth, 20 minutes each way. Ended up going to the Brokaw store the next day and learned I could only get a credit for the phone case because RUBY provided a credit on the phone case and not the bricks. The manager at Shari provided an account credit and I told her I'd go back to the Hamilton store and return the bricks because I was out of pocket $50+ for items I was going to return because now I was ticked off. This evening, I went back to the Hamilton store and was "helped" by HECTOR MENDOZA. He refused to return the two bricks. He was disrespectful and said I had to keep them. I immediately drove back to the Brokaw store where Shari was on duty (thank goodness). She called the regional TMobile management office to ask if there was a reason I could not return them and there was not. I listened to the entire conversation and then I got on the call to file a complaint against both RUBY and HECTOR. Why? RUBY should have stopped the transaction and taken the phone case off before charging my credit card. HECTOR was rude, disrespectful and if this is how TMobile trains its management staff, they need to go back and redesign their training. AVOID this store. Employees who can't complete basic transactions properly, who can't do what a customer specifically asks before a transaction is completed, and who refuse a refund for products eligible for a refund should not be employed by TMobile or anyone else. Go to the Brokaw store on North 17/880 about 10 minutes from the Hamilton store. You'll be better off. Ask for Shari! read more

In less than 3 min, Lauren became available. She answered a myriad of our questions as parents looking to add new lines for teenie bopper kids (parental controls please! ‍)... she totally understood the assignment, haha. As we were doing a number of things (exploring options, considering promotions, looking at accessories), her attention to other customers remained keen. She continued to acknowledge new folks walking through the door and directed them to some quick problem solving or to another associate who could further support. When there were delays in connecting our devices, she held a calm and patient demeanor, and never made us feel rushed as customers rolled in. Lastly, super appreciated how many promotions she lined up for us to keep our total costs at a minimum. Cuz we be struggling out here! I tell you that a business agent approached my company and offered me better prices on the internet and phone. I liked the offer and we did the procedure but hours later Tmobile doesn't have internet capacity for businesses that can solve your needs. That same day I canceled everything and they charged me $86 and something. I called customer service and canceled everything and they told me to wait for a refund that would be made after the package arrived at my business. The same agent told me that when the package arrived I would return it with the same person from UPS, that's what I did. The package arrived at the warehouse a week later and they didn't return the money but instead sent me a bill and charged my card for $794.00. Today Tmobile has almost $1000 of mine and there is no way they will give it back to me, they only promise and do nothing. Because of this, I will be proceeding legally with My lawyer to sue for my money and damages, I do not recommend TMOBILE, you will have serious problems, it is a scam TMOBILE business read more

Quite a disappointing experience. It seems that the sales associates are determined to up-sell. If you inquire about a cheaper model of phone, they will denigrate it and explain that it is either old, slow or out of stock. Also, the sales associate who helped me seemed stoned and incoherent, frequently forgetting things and having trouble hearing me. He actually suggested that I go to Best Buy or Target if I am interested in a low cost phone. I went in to pick up a new phone that I upgraded to. In the past, I've done everything online and remotely. Because of my negative experience picking up the phone. I'll do everything remotely from now on. When I entered the store, a staff member greeted me immediately, which was nice. However, it took about 15 minutes for someone to check me in. In addition, a staff member was helping people who came in after me, and I called him out on that. He got defensive and unprofessional which showed his immaturity. I guess this is expected as retail employees are paid quite low and the quality of the staff showed this. I didn't even receive a thank you from anyone when I left. It's amazing how all these young kids have zero manners nor any common sense. I blame this on T-Mobile and the manager at the store. My advice is do everything remotely and avoid this place at all costs. I spent 27 minutes at this store to simply pick up a phone and leave. SMH read more
