They said I still needed to checkin using their kiosk which seemed odd. Then I was notified that there 7 people ahead of me. But...I had made the appt and was there ahead of time. Wow... I honestly don't know how this AT&T store operates. I came in to trade in my phone, only to be told they couldn't accept it because it was past their 30-day policy. The manager repeatedly insisted I would need to bring in a doctor's note as proof of why I couldn't return it in time -- something I've never heard of with any carrier. The whole interaction felt unprofessional and confusing. This was my second visit here, and unfortunately, the experience hasn't improved. I can't recommend this location based on how things were handled. The one positive: the woman who was helping me before the manager stepped in was kind, patient, and professional. Horrible visit to this store. I was helped by Arnab who was super pushy. Very uncomfortable how he was trying to pressure me to open a business account and then when I asked about pricing he automatically included the optional protection plan in the price I couldn't figure out why it was higher than online. Then he says because he "manually" calculated the numbers he can remove the protection plan but again very pushy with if I don't sign up for it now it won't be available later he said the same thing about the accessories sale they had going on. When I had to come back because they forgot to charge the sales tax for the phones and have me sign the installment agreement paperwork I spoke with Monica the store manager who others have said was unhelpful and that is true she confirmed the accessory sale is still available to me and that I was misinformed that day. I tell her what is going on in her store and she literally just smiled about it. I asked other employees there if there is a ton of sales pressure and they confirme that's the culture they have there. It starts from the top I included Monica and Elizabeth Yi the district manager I was told in an email summarizing my visit and no response from either of them. Do not visit this store and more importantly don't let them lie to you here and pressure you into signing up for things you don't need to be paying for just to help them have their sales numbers looking better. You've been warned. As for Monica Mendez.. do better lol .. Arnab isn't really your fault cause you're being pressured to sell sell sell but don't change who you are and be unethical with your day to day to try and help Monica Mendez not get yelled at in her meetings with Elizabeth Yi . Lastly for Elizabeth Yi "supposedly att district manager" ... you can't hide from behind a desk just because you don't answer emails, you should be the one fixing this you have a store that needs some help. I do intend to continue to move my concerns up and get some kind of response acknowledgment or head nod about what is going on in this store and how it will change so that myself and others feel like we are being helped and being helped the right way. read more

Avoid this AT&T location big time. I came in with questions about an online promo on Fiber internet, and the rep in this store (sumanth) somehow convinced me to sign up with internet through their store even though they didn't have the offer going on. He and his manager, Brandon, claimed that they would match the online offer. It's been 4 months, and I still haven't received my money from the offer despite texting/calling about the issue multiple times. Wish I would've just signed up online to avoid this hassle, and am just considering canceling my service with AT&T altogether. read more

What a great customer service, I was being help with a lady and that guy called Steven came from no way to talk to the lady and not helping me to solve my problem but only try to selling me their products. After I am waiting on phone for 30 mins , the other lady try to help me , he came up again and stop the lady to help me. The service is great, and everyone is super friendly and helpful! Jose helped us upgrade an existing plan, switch carriers for a line, and add the line to a plan. He patiently and insightfully answered ALL our questions. We went on a Sunday afternoon (around 3pm) and it was actually pretty busy. Once you enter, check-in with an employee and they will add your name to a waitlist. There is a monitor that shows the queue and where you are on it. Covid review: You must wear a face mask to enter and all employees are also wearing face masks. There is a plexiglass between you and the employee. There is also hand-sanitizer readily available throughout the entire store. read more

So I goofed big time...via online I selected upgrade rather than adding a line to purchase a new Apple Watch. Upon receiving my new watch and walking to my car, I noticed that my phone was no longer in service. So I returned to this location, and spoke with Claudia, who originally assisted me, that my phone is no longer in service. In a few minutes, she did some detective work and noticed that I have "upgraded" rather than "added a line". Bottom line, it took a while to get it all situated, but she was determined and quite patient to get this sorted out. I am super grateful for her problem solving skills!!! Typically, I'm a bit more wary of phone stores. Not sure where that stemmed from, but I always have a guard up when I go in. Yesterday's experience was a game changer though! It was pretty slow, and our representative Hameed immediately assuaged any reservations I had about what my husband & I wanted to get done. Our first tackle was gathering more info on combining our lines onto one family plan, so we wanted to make sure we were able to take full advantage of any special pricing and get that out of the way. Hameed was knowledgeable and gave us what we needed, so once we transferred the lines over, it took less than 15 minutes to get everything up and running. He was clear and fast and helped us save on costs, which is always a nice perk! Next on the agenda was upgrading my phone. I was thinking about the size difference, and he even brought his phone out to cross compare so I could get a good sense of what I was committing to. He also initiated a seamless old to new phone wireless transfer, and wasn't pushy on erasing all my phone data right there in the store, since I did have sensitive info and wasn't comfortable handling that right away. All in all, we spent under 1 hour for everything we needed to get done, and me being the impatient one that I am, was really grateful for Hameed's efficiency and personable, can do attitude. read more

My wife and I scheduled an appointment with this AT & T store for upgrading her phone. After we arrived and checked in, we had waited for a while. When a young lady finished with her customer, we approached her and told her that we have been waiting for more than 30 minutes beyond our appointment time. She did not even apologize or tell us how much longer we have to wait. She just went back to her work area by ignoring us. We felt the customer service at this store is so rude and unfriendly, so we just left. I have been an AT & T customer for over 20 years, and this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. read more

Very friendly and knowledgeable. Walked in to check out the new location and to get some Christmas presents. Everyone was eager to help with great customer service. Very personable, the sales associate and helpers were enthusiastic and displayed genuine interests in knowing my hobbies to fit me with the best electronic. Kyle, an AT&T sales associate, showed me to the Apple iPad that I was able to sketch on and try in the store. He also introduced Moleskine, an electronic journal that transfers my drawing to my Apple devices. Went over specific details I was interested in. I was impressed that he was able to go over different options and pointers on what to look for between Apple watches. (Purchase as a present). Was able to find the best fit. Overall my experience was more than I was expecting, really went above and beyond. Beautiful store, nice new location, great knowledgeable employees. read more

This is specifically for the rep named Lycenia at the ATT store, who was very dishonest. She signed me up for extra services/fees without first informing me. Also, she added DirectTV Now service to my phone and told me that it's free when it actually costs $15 per month. I needed to call ATT on a few separate occasions to cancel all the extra services and to get my refund. She is the most unhelpful rep I have ever encountered. read more

Recently, I needed to grab a new SIM card for a spare phone I had laying around since my iPhone's antenna was broken. I ended up coming to the AT&T store in Cupertino since that was the most popular location according to Yelp (JK it only has 5 reviews!). Cupertino's AT&T is located on the always-popular Stevens Creek Blvd. This spot is actually very convenient because it's 1. Inside a HUGE lot (much parking spots), 2. Very close to the 280 Freeway (Hella accessible), and 3. Nearby plenty of stores like Target (great location to stop by on your shopping route). I wouldn't worry too much about coming RIGHT when they open because there's plenty of people working there who are EASILY able to help you (e.g. every one who came in after us was assisted immediately). It may be because this store is within the heart of Silicon Valley, but dang in terms of the layout and space, this AT&T is ballin'! Right when you walk in, you are immediately transported into a whole new world. The plethora of gadgets, giant lights hanging from the ceiling, and screens everywhere really places you into a futuristic, techie environment that AT&T is trying to create. And this all makes you feel super comfortable too. Like if you are just waiting for someone, there's plenty of things to do to keep you busy. But what truly makes a trip here INCREDIBIBLE is definitely the customer service. I mean RIGHT when you walk in, someone is waiting to greet and help you. I was honestly SUPER surprised because I was so used to walking in and trying to find someone who actually worked at AT&T. NOPE, here all the employees are wandering around ensuring that everyone is helped. And boy I have to give a shoutout to Jade, the lady who helped me, because she was SO PATIENT. Though my issue was easily resolved, I had to go back and forth with my parents via phone (y'all know how hard that is), and Jade totally WAITED! She literally took an hour of her time to help me with a simple problem, and I'm eternally grateful for it. Because of her, I now actually have a working spare phone. All in all, if you need AT&T customer service, I recommend coming to the Cupertino location. This place is BONKERS GOOD, and the service is excellent. Literally here at the AT&T store, being helped by a friendly expert Antonio. From the get-go Antonio has made our process of upgrading a phone and adding a line very smoothly. But not only that any questions we had he knew exactly how to answer and also suggested us options that can benefit us in the long run. Not only is his customer service amazing, just being able to talk with him that may not be related to AT&T is a pleasure, he puts off a good vibe which is a great characteristic to have especially dealing with these types of situations. Not only was he helpful, his manager Natalie was a help as well. Overall, seems like the workers here are up to par with everything to make sure each customer has a great experience here. Back again for another new phone! Sitting here on a Sunday AM and really there is no one in the store. Staff of 6 strong and no customers. Folks come to this store before people realize this place exists! No wait super chill staff clean store and what else could you want??? ========= Beautiful new store with NO customers. Came in on Friday around 4 pm with every intention to join the AT&T network on the hubby's plan - with task of bringing in an unlocked iPhone and also keeping the current mobile number. Walked in to a completely empty storefront with the exception of the 6-7 employees hanging out and watching the NBA game (while promoting their products of course). Store is spacious, open, and clean. There are no kiosks in this store. Rather they have about 6 or so high top tables with cafe high stools for customers to sit. This creates the illusion of open transparency and letting the business side become more personable as the reps sit beside you as opposed to a desk in between. Yu Ting is a lovely young lady who was super friendly and helpful when laying out what we wanted. Since i wasn't the primary account holder and was waiting for hubby to come by, Yu Ting suggested getting all of my personal info ready while waiting - this case the current account number and pin info. The wait on the transfer was more on my part but Yu-Ting was helpful, polite, and really sweet plus really patient with all my gaffes. She got us a SIM card and popped it in and worked her magic. We thought we would be waiting at least an hour and the entire process took less than 20 min. No one walked in the store at that time and while punching info through Yu-Ting was sharing the fact the store was so new and less than 3 months old. We were in and out with speed and efficiency and the best part - Yu Ting totally walked us out and opened the door! She was all smiles and really adorable in helping us literally from start to finish. read more

Came in on a slow Sunday morning and found the staff very helpful and attentive. I had some more complicated requests involving corporate-personal account move and the associate pulled in a manager to speed up the process, but ultimately weren't able to complete my requests timely -- need to go back on a weekday to have corporate team assist. While waiting for my requests, I noticed one of the other reps actively engaging new customers to make sure they were being helped. Seems like their Sunday crew is doing what they can to meet the customers' needs. Overall exceeded my expectations -- I'll head back tomorrow to finish up. read more

Lied to all day by AT&T First we sent to the Lawrence Expy store, which told us their queue was long, but the queue in Cupertino was about five minutes. So, we went to the Cupertino store - and found the wait time was well over an hour. Which store lied? At the Cupertino store, we were told stores cannot check each other's wait queue. Who lied, Lawrence Expy or Cupertino, or both? Then we asked for a text message when we were near the front of the queue, as we have received on earlier visits. We were lied to and told it was impossible for the store to send automated text messages about the queue. But, we did receive several throughout the wait, another easily disproved lie. After waiting well over the estimated queue time (the time we were told was another lie), the sales rep finally met with us. She lied and claimed sim cards had a cost, when in reality they are free. She forced us to give her $5 for the sim card, which went right into her pocket. Lies, theft, both? And lastly, she deliberately tore the packaging of a related product we purchased, without even a feeble attempt to appear contrite. Watch out for the staff here, they will lie to your face and damage your merchandise for spite. If you want lies, go to the Cupertino store. That's all you will get there. read more

The wait here is too long for service. We don't get all of our questions answered. They have a lot of customers and they don't keep track of the wait list. The product selection is good. We still come back because the store is close to our home. Parking is a hit or miss. We like the management though. They are friendly. Just too crowded. read more

Unpleasant visit experience. I wanted to upgrade my phone plan so I dropped by the store since I was in the plaza. A staff came up and sat me down with a table after I told him I just wanted to upgrade my plan . He began to ask about my internet usage, who is my internet provider, who is my TV provider and so on.. I told him I just want to upgrade my phone plan, he went on and on for 45 minute and I finally convinced him that I don't need anything' extra except upgrading my plan. 5 minutes later I walked out of store and got 5 different text messages from AT&T thanking me for signing for the most expensive data plan and most expensive insurance plan for my phone, and couple several other services which I never asked for. It took me two more visits to correct everything. I complained to the manager that it was not a pleasant experience with her staff and her associate signed up things I didn't ask for, the manager said it was her associate's job to up sell, I understand but shouldn't you stop when I said no? But instead I spend good 30 minutes to convince him I don't need all things he tried to sell me. Manger also said it must've been an mistake her associate signing up all bullshit plan I didn't ask for.WTF! read more

Here's a "shout-out" to Brandon Shamo who helped my wife and me get a refund due us for over two months. Up until then, I spent over five hours on AT&T chat (three different occasions) trying to get our problem solved and got absolutely nowhere; nobody could help. Finally, out of frustration, we went to the AT&T store at 19479 Stevens Creek Blvd #100, Cupertino, CA 95014 and explained the problem to Brandon. It took Brandon about 40 minutes to talk to the right people, but he got our refund fixed. I had to return a week later because the finance people Brandon contacted did not follow through as they said they would; he was helping another cusomer, so Nestor did the follow-up for us. We're satisfied with Nestor's assistance as well. Today our bank informed us that the refund had been made. So "Mission Complete." Brandon's business card lists his title as "Friendly Expert, Mobility" and I concur 100%. No matter how frustrated the situation became he maintained a pleasant and professional atmosphere. --GHP read more

Beware of the bait and switch! I have been a loyal AT&T Mobile customer for 11 years. I will be cancelling all of my services with them this week due to their unprofessional and deceitful bait and switch practice (home internet, uverse and three mobile devices). In March of 2018 I was having issues with my iPhone 8+ so I took it in to AT&T. They introduced me to a promotion that would get me into a brand new iPhone X that came with a free iPhone 8 Plus (for my wife). Sounded like a great deal, well when I checked my bill and saw that they were actually billing me for the "free" iPhone 8 I called and complained - then they explained that since I did not add a new line that I was not eligible for the promotion. REALLY?? Would I have bought two full price phones just for the hell of it when my wife already had a perfectly working iPhone 7?? AT&T is not willing to do a damn thing about the "mix up".
