I don't know how often people from T-Mobile read their reviews but all I have to say to this location is that your costumer service SUCKS and even worst the manager sucks even more! He is so rude, I don't even know how the employees from there can work with him. My experience with this location was that I wanted to go into a family plan but at the time I was with cricket so I went to this T-Mobile store and this one guy helps me out everything was going good UNTIL he puts in the SIM card and he says "oh your phone is not unblocked?" I have an iPhone 5 and well I did not know that it had to be unblocked, so the guy says here is your chip go to cricket to see if they can do it for you. So the next the day I went to cricket and they said they couldn't do anything about it because I was no longer with them which is totally understandable so I go back to T-Mobile and thank god the guy that helped me out first was not there because obviously he did not know what he was doing, they take my name and this really nice guy is now helping but he told me that my iPhone was not compatible with T-Mobile and in that moment I was so MAD! It's like dude then why the F^{*] didn't the first guy tell me this before doing anything, so then the assistant manager comes and she was also nice, but tells me the same thing that my phone was not compatible and that I had to buy a new compatible phone at that moment I was literally burning, I was not going to spend money on another phone!! So she tells me come back tomorrow my manager is going to be here and well it was the next day and I go back and this guy asks to take my name and I say "I am here to talk to the manager" and he says "I am the manager" so I am explaining my situation to him and he is being a smarty pants and says go to cricket and tell them that they HAVE to unblock your phone because it is illegal for them to tell you that they can't and if they do tell you they can't report them.. And then again I was BURNING! It's like dude it's been a week and I have no phone all because of a person that doesn't know what he is doing and only wants the commission! So the manager was being an ass to me and I said I don't want to be with your company i want you to transfer my phone back to cricket and then after spending about 20 minutes with me he says "I have 9 people in front of you do you want me to put down your name" in that moment I knew that costumer service in this particular location sucks real bad! I ended up staying with cricket, they have awesome customer service and they are real efficient! If you read all this then I truly recommend you to NEVER go to the T-Mobile store in the Chula Vista mall! The one in mission valley is the best ask for a guy named Alex I believe that was his name, he is an awesome guy and he helps you with your problems, not like Bryant and the manager that only talk but do nothing to help the costumer out! read more

Absolutely the worst store and incompetent staff I have ever had to deal with! Further more, they took my cash and due to their 'system' being down, gave me a new SIM and their business card as a receipt and told me to try it later when their 'system' was back up. I always come here whenever I need to buy earphones or cases and I absolutely LOVE the service of this place The store is always clean and organized. Everyone is so friendly and they always get me in and out fast with great service. Melissa and Krystal are always very helpful and nice too! Victor is very informative and Eddy always shows me cool new speakers. The manager and assistant manager are all very friendly also. It just seems like everyone that works here gives great service :D as for the more negative comments on here, I did notice that the Yelp reviews started to change when the new manager and ASM took over the store. I'm very happy with this place and although I don't actually have T-Mobile service I do like the accessories here and I buy stuff here every now and then. read more

Came to upgrade my current phone. Second time around I decide to get the Samsung Galaxy s6 edge, didn't have it in stock. That's ok, cause they went out of their way to go to the store across the street and get it from the store that did have it in stock. What service! Everybody I've dealt with here has been amazing. I switched over from Verizon who has the worst customer service ever. To top it off, since I've switched my T-mobile data speeds are way faster than my verizon speeds were. I get that maybe that's not the case in all areas, but in all areas of San Diego it has been fantastic service. Not to mention the service when I'm in Mexico utilizing the north America plan service is amazing. My data is fast down there and I am able to call and text and search restaurants and use GPS in mexico as if I was still here in the US. I've switched many family and friends and I would highly recommend getting it here! read more

I had a great experience here. Carol helped us and she's really good & knows what she's doing. Also, very easy to talk to. She went through every step from how much the phone costs to how much I'll be paying a month with insurance and what the differences are between the other phones and what I got. And she even convinced my mom to by the SyncUP Drive device that goes in your car. ALL of the staff are super friendly and easy to talk to also. I will definitely be coming here again. Me and my husband just left this store... we where there approximately 15-20 min no one ever greeted us or offered to help us. It was not busy there was maybe 2 other people there and like 5 workers making sure not to give us eye contact tired of waiting and being ignored we left, I called to let them know that their customer service is poor and the young lady that answered just laughed and refused to give her name stated what did we expect then proceeded to say she would get a supervisor so we could complain left me on hold for 5 min so I just hung up.. wish we could give negative stars because thats what the workers there deserve! I went to the store to buy a new phone this guy name Bryan told me that u was going to get free case as a promotion they had going on so i was like cool everything went well later on when i looked at my bill I notice there were some extra charges in my account this guy added extra services to my account and i was also being charge for the case that I got for "free" so I called the store to see if I could return it so I spoke to Roberta who is the assistant manager and she was so rude she wouldn't even let me talk and when i asked her to let me finish talking she told me not to tell her what to do i mean what kind of customer service is this ! Terrible customer service. Bought a phone case a couple months back. The case was clear but starting turning brown in spots all over the case. These cases are already outrageously priced so I took the time to exchange it. Went to the Imperial Beach location to get it replaced. The gentleman working at that location apologized and searched for 20 minute in the stock room for a replacement but unfortunately were out of stock. Called the Chula Vista location and they had 2 cases in stock. Upon arriving I was told by Alex that it was known that the cases turn brown, but there was nothing they could do about it. Angry that they knew they were selling defective products I asked for the manager Marco. Marco acused me of keeping my phone next to my makeup in my purse and that was the reason my phone turned brown. Not only are they totally incompetent when it comes to customer service they are also sexist and insulting. I will be cancelling my service because they wanted to save pennies on a phone case that is obviously being discontinued. read more

Cheers to the T-Mobile staff at this location. I stopped by twice last week and was in and out within 15 minutes. I walked in knowing what plan I wanted and Melissa processed everything efficiently and with nice attitude. I signed up to have international service but it seemed like my service in general was not up and running. I had a great experience the first time so I placed my trust on the staff and stopped by a few hours before my flight for assistance. Erik Rubio welcomed me to T-Mobile and offered assistance. I explained what was going on and he solved the problem quickly. I realized it was human error on my end but he still offered further help to make sure I know how to connect to international networks while traveling. He realized I was in panic mode and once again, like Melissa, he processed everything efficiently and with great attitude. Thank you, T-Mobile, for employing the right staff! read more

So i hope I'm grading the Tmobile inside the Chula Mall on H st. So ill grade them in all full performance as a Yay! I'm a fan, but theres couple 1 stars on few things. Ill start with the negatives so they are read, and i hope the staff from this Tmobile reads them: 1) a female staff welcomed us and I really didn't get the idea of her role in the store, she seem like she was playing the role of a hostess, she asked us and customers after what we needed help with and then lead us to a different rep. I don't get that. That purpose is not needed. Ask and help, don't lead customers to a different staff. 2) Another different female staff was asked by chris to help and put the screen protectors on our phones, i noticed she worked on my phone and left the screen protector with air bubbles, annoying! my only guess that it happened was due to her LONG FANCY NAILS!! thats more Annoying!!! a big fat NO! , it looks it made it difficult for her to work well on putting on the screen protectors. for me thats not professional in a work place, maybe at her wedding, birthday parties, night clubs etc or want look cute for friends or guys BUT not for a work place!! so when i go back I hope to see the ladies with normal size finger nails! 3) I dislike when family or friends of emplyees come in an take the time away from their work, assuming a sister of employee came in with her kid to say hi, but that hi became more of a sit down and have a conversation. I was there for about 1.5 Hr and believe me that family or friend was there for the full time i was there, chitchatting with the employee. 4) this one I dont know if it was me who missunderstood or staff made it sound like a great deal on the package. So Phone cost 750 or so and later I will receive a pre paid card of 750 and all i need to pay is taxes, but at the end i ended up paying estimate of between 850- 900 for each phone, so the extras that were added screen protector, phone cases and memory card, I thought they were included in the package but after reading each paper put int he bag I notice thats the reason it went from 750 to between 850 and 900, that was more then the taxes. so the extra items were just extra. Staff made it sound it was part of package and it was necessary to buy since "its part of the package deal" Ill check more into that. Second the Positives! 1) This location has more options on phones, so good BYE Hillcrest (Washington St)Tmobile, Now i have to drive 30min farther, BUT WORTH IT! 2) Staff really friendly and welcoming and energetic! 3)really clean location 4) Chris was our guy and convince me to make a purchase, which i was there to get a NEW phone! the Samsung S8!! Today I got a bill for two months worth of service and phones I never bought. Terrible experience. I walked in and ALEXANDRA ( sales person ) was on her phone and didn't even say hi to me. I walked up to her and started to tell her the problems I've been having with my iphone. It starts opening apps on its own, making calls, etc. She just looked at me clueless. I then asked her, what can I do? She said I could pay $175 for a new one with my insurance or nothing else. I then asked what about taking it to the apple store? She again looked clueless and said "yeah sure" , i also asked her about the warranty policy they have and at that point anything that was coming out of her mouth was not informative, I was very annoyed because this young girl did not know what to even say. If a customer walks in with a problem on their phone I recommend you start off by giving them all the options you know about to help out your customers instead of just standing there waiting anxiously for me to leave to get back on your phone. Tried to process a return on the final day (14 day return policy). I was refused service and asked to call customer service. Called while in the store, Was told store should handle it. After 1 hour of insisting. I finally got the return processed by the store rep. unnecessary waste of time. Store is more concerned with revenue than customer service. This is the very 1st time I've ever written a review. EVER! I left this place in tears! I understand that crying over a cell phone issue is by far the most immature thing ever, but that's how angry I was. I've been with Cricket for many years. I believe I've had service with them since they first started. After all these years their service started getting bad. Very bad! I stayed with them, because I didn't want to deal with the whole change and cancel and all things that comes with switching providers. My mom talked me into getting a line with them at T-Mobile. They actually had an awesome deal. We were there for 4 1/2-5 hours! Got all 3 phones activated and when they came to my phone, it got blocked! The girl who activated my line told me to go next door to Cricket and ask them for a codeto break into my phone to use my t-mobile SIM card. Cricket couldn't help me, because I've only had this cell phone for 4 months. HAD NO IDEA THAT WAS EVEN AN ISSUE! T-mobile people knew that my phone was going to get blocked and didn't tell me before we started! The girl who helped us, (better yet, screwed me) send me to two different places that break into phones. They too couldn't help me. The girl at t-mobile told me to not tell her boss she sent me over to the place they break codes. =/ My family left to eat, because our kids were hungry and we had been there for too long. The girl told me to buy a t-mobile phone, because it would be easier. I told her before we started everything, I did not want a new phone. My phone is new! She said I didn't need a new cell phone. I was so mad! 3 hours in! She then said to keep the Cricket SIM card and also the T-mobile SIM card, because they were both active. WTF?! She said that my Cricket line would deactivate as soon as she imported my line to t-mobile. If that's the case, what am I suppose to do when my Cricket line is off? I can't use my phone to use my T-mobile SIM card, because my phone is blocked. I was SOOO mad! Then she said she was able to get me a "loaner" T-mobile phone so I can use my T-mobile SIM card when my Cricket line goes off, and that they will get a code to re-open my own phone. She gave me a dead phone!!! Are you serious! I've been here for almost 5 hours!!! We just paid for new services and I'm leaving with an old scratched up loaner t mobile phone that's DEAD! I can't even use my "awesome new t-mobile services" and my Cricket line is going off anytime now! I left and came back to ask for the # to corporate! I work in beauty retail and I treat my customers the same way I want my mom to be treated! The manager that was there was looking at me crazy,because I was crying. My family was waiting for me this entire time!!! I kept calling my mom's "new cell phone" and it was DISCONNECTED!! but how?!! We just payed for this new service! When I finally got back to my family, my mom's cell phone was not working! We ran, literally RAN back to t-mobile, because it was already 9:30PM! The rude manager said that it takes time for SIM cards to "work". He had to put a new SIM card in my mom's phone, because the one that got put in earlier did not work! I HATE THIS PLACE!!! I cried all the way home, because if I wouldn't have been with my mom she would have been without a phone. I am calling corporate tomorrow morning!!! I am so mad! Wow is all I can say about the service I got here. And not in a good way. I went in today to set up my visual voice mail on my S4, because for some reason it wasn't working, and was "helped" by a short woman whose name I can't recall. I'm going to start off by saying that this was the worst customer service I have ever received anywhere, and that's not an exaggeration. This woman asks what I can be helped with today and as soon as I tell her, her immediate response was "ugh you are going to make me work and I'm already off?" oh but it gets better. She asks me for my number and pulls my account up on her computer, then asks for my name. I give her my name and happen to glance at her computer as I say it, and she says "why are you looking at the computer? Is this not your account?" wow so now she's accusing me of theft and fraud. So it can't get worse than that right? Wrong. She asks me why my number has an 814 area code and I tell her I'm military and that I move around a lot. She gives me a funny look and trys troubleshooting my problem. Then she says "Did you not read the directions? It says you have to call this number to reset your pin etc etc" with a very condescending tone. Except I did read the directions. At this point I'm really trying hard not to go off on this chick, and I tell her there is nothing to reset, I'm a new customer and I haven't even set up my vmail yet. After she fixes it she asks me what time it is. This part confused me and angered me at the same time. I look at my watch since she still had my phone in her hand and before I could even tell her she says "why are you looking at your watch your in the military right?" apparently she thought I was going to give her the time in 12 hr format not 24 hr format like it was on my phone. So she was basically trying to call me a liar and reinforce her assumption that I stole the phone. I took the phone from her and it took every ounce of my being to swallow my pride and walk out without causing a scene. I was still so angry after leaving that I actually turned back around and demanded to talk to the manager who was actually taking a phone call in her office. After waiting around for a good while I decided I had wasted enough time and just let it go. All I can say is the woman that I dealt with was lucky her name was forgettable, because I would have done everything possible to make sure she was fired for her garbage customer service. I really hope one of you T-Mobile higher ups see this and straighten this out right away. It's bs I had to deal with that today. I think I've gotten better service at a dmv. Never coming back to this branch again. My rant is over. read more

please dont come here ever! i was scammed by the manager named sonni. he conviced me to open a line because he said theres was a promotion at the moment where i can get a free tablet and promised me that my bill was going to be the same... the tablet and the line was for free. by the time they didnt have no more tablets and i have to come back. they charged me $30 for activation. today i went back and asked another lady about the "promotion" she said yes the tablet was free but i was going to be charged for the service. immediately i told her my story and said he was the manager... he came and i asked ehy he would lied for me to open another line and got me charged? right away instead of apologize or saying any excuse he just told me " i am not going to refund your money" i was speechless and i am taking this case to the company. isnt fair!!... i have a 5 months baby and for me to go to the store again was a hasle, just to be told i was lied? by the manager? i cant believe this! on facebook this store has the worst reviews ever! read more
