Absolutely the WORST T-Mobile store I've ever been in. WORST customer service. WORST knowledge of products. I walked in on Feb. 19 to pick up an iPhone I purchased online. Salesman (unfortunately I don't know his name) brought the phone out to me, asked for my id and proceeded to open the phone. He asked for the phone i was trading in and started moving EVERYTHING over to the new phone. I asked him to stop because i did NOT want everything moved to the new phone. He said it has to be that way "that's just the way it works ". I said no that's not how it "works". I explained that in the past i was able to decide what I wanted to transfer to the new phone. He proceeded to tell me how many years he has worked there and that what I wanted was impossible. He said "it's all or nothing, so you'll lose your contacts" I never heard anything like that before and this was my 12th iPhone purchase but the first at that store. He took over the phone began uploading the old phone to the cloud, it was taking too long and I'd been there 30 minutes and I didn't want to be there another 30 or more. So I asked him can I just leave with my old phone and finish the cloud uploading then come back with the phone in the evening. He said no. "Unfortunately it's now or never." I said what does that mean? He said if you don't leave the old one for the trade in now you will have to mail it back in. The whole interaction was frustrating and so time consuming! I realize that's his job and he has to be there 8 hours, but it's not my job and my time is important! I agreed to just mail it back and leave. He then said BTW I noticed your in an old magenta plan and I have one that much better for you. I said what's the difference between what I currently have and what you are offering. This guy just says "EVERYTHING about this new plan is better, and it will save you money" he never did say exactly what was better tho. This guy was like a bad car salesman. I said No I don't want to switch plans. Im fine with what we currently have. Could not wait to get out of there. I finished the iCloud upload on the old phone, went to a different T-Mobile where I asked can I turn phone in and they said yes of course, you have 2 weeks to bring it back. I explained the experience I had in the Orland store and they told me the salesman was wrong/lied. Then they looked at my plan and said they could see the purchase and where it was made and the NEW plan I was in. I said NO, I am in an old plan and I said I did NOT want to switch plans. They said okay well that salesman put you in a new plan. I had to call TMobile and explain the whole disastrous experience at the Orland Park location. The rep was very helpful and straightened it out for us but I did tell her it's the last time I get my phone at TMobile , from now on I will go back to buying directly from Apple! Time is money, and the Orland Park T-Mobile location is a gigantic waste of time and not deserving of spending your money there! read more

worst service ever. I went with my mom to get her a new phone. My brother pays the bill, he's had the plan for 19 years. 19. There was an employee that was trying to manipulate my mom to change the plan. Flat out lied to her saying this new plan is the same. ITS NOT. Then two more employees began harassing my mom. Shes 76. They were preying on her. I was disgusted. She bought a brand new car the day before and never got any pressure. If you go to this store, do your research. I've been a professional pastor for 30 years. Employees of this Orland Park Tmobile noncorporate store lied to me and my wife,making numerous false representations. The electronic documents they had us sign were not representative of the what they told us we were signing. Since only the signature line appears we trusted them and signed documents when. we later found out,they misrepresented the contract contents. Most eggreiously, we thought we were purchasing phones, only to later discover they were signing us up for a lease phone which would later need to be returned. We went to a T-mobile Corporate store to get everything straightened out. We spent hours there. They were able to correct all the mistakes made by the Orland Park T-Mobile location. The corporate store also told us that this Orland Park store was notorious for dishonest business practices. They also said they would be submitting a complaint to T-Mobile on our behalf against the store. read more

Switching cell companies is like getting your spine pulled out through your mouth. Which....I would rather have done actually. Oh, and don't switch to T-Mobile. If you're considering it, I'll pull your spine out through your mouth for you....for free. I just spent literally 3 hours of my day trying to get it resolved just to be shrugged off. Have the store manager deny saying what he said. And because of this, I wanted to cancel today is my 14th day and they said I can't get my phone's back that I turned in. So what Is the sense of having a 14 days return remorse policy if a customer can't get their devices back and are left with nothing if they return the ones received from t-mobile. I was blatantly lied to...by my sales rep and the manager. Just to be told sorry for the miscommunication. The customer service I have received is disgraceful and the most unprofessional I have ever receieved. You promise gold to get customers to switch to t-mobile and deliver coal!!! read more

Please stay away form this store. I hope for T-mobile's sake that it's just this store, and not a company wide problem, but I had a very long process in changing over from another carrier. I'm still not convinced that the employees didn't intentionally make mistakes to improve their commission or something. First, they signed me up for a plan a tier higher than the one we chose in the store, luckily a simple phone call to T mobile took care of that. Then, they forgot to turn the data on for my phone, again a phone call took care of that. However, I noticed my bill still seemed a little higher than what I thought it would be. Digging through the bill I noticed that they never gave me credit for one of my trade-ins. This was not an easy fix, and took a lot of my personal time and even had to go personally to the store, because for some unknown reason this was not correctable over the phone. At this point I was told they saw the problem and it would be fixed in a couple weeks, if not they would call me. A month later, no fix, so I called them. They said, they would look into it and call me back in a few days. Two weeks later, no call, so I called them back. At this point they tried to tell me I was going to have to come back to the store to fix it, however I was not going back in, and if they couldn't fix it I would just write a letter to T Mobile about my experience. Magically, they now were going to be able to credit my account, but tragically we are not done here. At this point I had been digging deep inside my bill and knew i was owed $578 over the next 24 months. Yet, they had only credited my account $490, and when I brought this up and tried to present the math to them, they said I was only owed $490 and threatened to take the credit back if I was not happy with that number. As you can imagine, at this point I was not willing to take anything less than what was owed to me, and told them fine take the $490 back, I'll write my letter to T mobile and see what happens. At this point I was done talking and ready to write my letter and move on, however they must have called back and my wife picked up and talked to them when I was off trying to cool down. FINALLY, months later, several phone calls, a visit to the store, and my bill was finally at the correct price. Like I started, I'm not sure if this was intentional, or a series of mistakes, but I advise you to look at another store, if shopping for T Mobile. read more

I have been a T-Mobile customer for many years. I have always had multiple lines and currently have four. I always hated dealing with the salesman. I have had them agree to provide me with certain accessories only to deny that it was even discussed. For the sake of this review I won't get into details about the poor service and rudeness but I have come to expect. This store today however has a representative named RAMZI who is unlike any I have previously dealt with. Ramzi is the only representative that I will use for all my phone and accessories needs. I have been dealing with him for over year and have made several phone purchases thru him. He has been so helpful to me and I don't get the feeling I'm dealing with a used car salesman. I normally don't step foot in a phone shop, I buy unlocked phones online. But Jordan was so helpful (and avoided trying to sell the overpriced crap accessories) that I bought an LG G4 right there. He explained everything clearly and concisely, and I now understand the various Jump programs. He should be an example for salespeople across the organization, and really embodies the overall marketing message of not upselling crap like Verizon or AT&T. read more

Very shady dishonest workers. When purchasing phones or a accessories, these people will promise you everything and the minute you walk out it is a whole different story. Everything they promise should be in writing otherwise you will be out of luck. Recently purchased two charging cords. The salesperson picked them out and rang them up. Although the boxes looked the same, they were not the same product. I had no idea at the time of purchased and because they were stocking stuffers, they were given after 14 days of purchase. Salesperson would not rectify their own mistake until the manager got involved. Not the place to spend your money. read more

I am amazed at the rudeness and the absolute stupidity of the people that work in this store, as well as customer service. If I could give zero stars I would. I closed my account with them, I had 4 phones all together on my plan, so when I cancelled I still owed on the phones and had to pay them off, about $1600 all together which was fine, but when I paid over the phone, they said they couldn't email me a receipt. What? Really? What business in the entire world let alone a multi billion dollar company don't have the ability to generate a receipt after you just paid $1600. They said I would have to go I to a TMobile store to get it. Wow, inconvenient. So I went to the store in Mokena IL and dealt with a rather rude employee who said they couldn't generate a receipt for me either. Haha are you kidding me? She said since I didn't pay in the store she couldn't give me a receipt, I told her that didn't make any sense, and she told me with an attitude, that it did make sense. I guess I should have asked her if she would think it was weird of she bought a TV from best buy over the phone or on the Internet and they told her she couldn't get a receipt. I am at a loss for words on how rediculous that is that TMobile can't give you a receipt after paying $1600 to close an account. read more

I stopped in this store to get pricing for a new phone and service. Granted, I came here on a Monday around 10:30am, so I was the only one in the store but it filled up quickly. I was politely greeted by Justin. He patiently explained all the services and compared a few phone by demonstration. He was very knowledgeable and found the phone that fit my needs. I work basically in a bomb shelter and I get no reception. I do get reception with my current carrier which I explained to Justin. He selected the phone that had the right features for me. Justin was a no pressure sales person. I told him I was reluctant to switch because of the great service I'm already receiving but that I was looking to lower my monthly bill and I didn't want to pay $500 for a new cell phone but still wanted all the bells and whistles. Hard to find, right? Wrong. I came at the right time for their promotion. Not only did he lower my monthly bill, I got the Samsung Galaxy S3 for $99.99. I was still skeptical, so I went back to my current carrier who said they would have to charge me $599 for the same phone! The rep said my carrier was being bought by Sprint and that they couldn't give current customers any deals or special pricing. This was a bunch of crap and I hate Sprint, so my decision was clearly to run back to T Mobile. The sign-up process was a bit long but the other rep I was working with and I'm sorry I didn't get her name because she was equally outstanding. I don't remember seeing her name tag. Anyway, these reps made sure I left happy. She took the time to search for my company discount and filled out all the necessary paperwork to ensure I received everything. I'm hoping my future experience with these folks is just as superior. read more

They don't give it. They say cost there money. He say I have to pay $15 or call customer ship it. And he see the message from customers service.. I came into this store to return a tablet(nothing was wrong with it, just buyers remorse) I bought week before when I had purchased a new phone as well. Not only did Brad help me out and return the tablet but Joselin was great at getting me in and out without any issues. Thank you all from the pregnant lady..you didn't make me cry. Ha. I WOULD STAY FAR FAR AWAY!! My dad who is a truck driver and travels around the whole country stupidly purchased a new iPhone and iPad from this store, he the next day went to work and had deliveries from IL to FL which during that time he noticed that he NEVER had service ANYWHERE! He was unable to use the merchandise he purchased for directions to deliveries, on top of that he was unable to even make calls to his dispatchers! He was so angry that as soon as he got to Florida he went to a T-mobile store to return the merchandise knowing he had a 14 day return period and knowing he would not make it back in time to make the 14 day had he returned it to the store in orland park. Of course tmobile in florida is just HAS to go to the original store of purchase, totally and completely screwing him over. He ended up making it to the orland park store just ONE DAY LATE! ONE DAY!!!! and the manager there was completely USLESS! She was the most unsympathetic, heartless, and mute person we have ever talked to ! I even asked her what she recommends we should do and she just was a mute! whoever hired her as a manager made one big fat mistake!! read more
