Absolutely the WORST T-Mobile store I've ever been in. WORST customer service. WORST knowledge of…read moreproducts. I walked in on Feb. 19 to pick up an iPhone I purchased online. Salesman (unfortunately I don't know his name) brought the phone out to me, asked for my id and proceeded to open the phone. He asked for the phone i was trading in and started moving EVERYTHING over to the new phone. I asked him to stop because i did NOT want everything moved to the new phone. He said it has to be that way "that's just the way it works ". I said no that's not how it "works". I explained that in the past i was able to decide what I wanted to transfer to the new phone. He proceeded to tell me how many years he has worked there and that what I wanted was impossible. He said "it's all or nothing, so you'll lose your contacts" I never heard anything like that before and this was my 12th iPhone purchase but the first at that store. He took over the phone began uploading the old phone to the cloud, it was taking too long and I'd been there 30 minutes and I didn't want to be there another 30 or more. So I asked him can I just leave with my old phone and finish the cloud uploading then come back with the phone in the evening. He said no. "Unfortunately it's now or never." I said what does that mean? He said if you don't leave the old one for the trade in now you will have to mail it back in. The whole interaction was frustrating and so time consuming! I realize that's his job and he has to be there 8 hours, but it's not my job and my time is important! I agreed to just mail it back and leave. He then said BTW I noticed your in an old magenta plan and I have one that much better for you. I said what's the difference between what I currently have and what you are offering. This guy just says "EVERYTHING about this new plan is better, and it will save you money" he never did say exactly what was better tho. This guy was like a bad car salesman. I said No I don't want to switch plans. Im fine with what we currently have. Could not wait to get out of there. I finished the iCloud upload on the old phone, went to a different T-Mobile where I asked can I turn phone in and they said yes of course, you have 2 weeks to bring it back. I explained the experience I had in the Orland store and they told me the salesman was wrong/lied. Then they looked at my plan and said they could see the purchase and where it was made and the NEW plan I was in. I said NO, I am in an old plan and I said I did NOT want to switch plans. They said okay well that salesman put you in a new plan. I had to call TMobile and explain the whole disastrous experience at the Orland Park location. The rep was very helpful and straightened it out for us but I did tell her it's the last time I get my phone at TMobile , from now on I will go back to buying directly from Apple! Time is money, and the Orland Park T-Mobile location is a gigantic waste of time and not deserving of spending your money there!

We called the customer service line, and after two frustrating conversations, they said we needed to go into an actual store. THANKFULLY Kevin was working at the Tinley Park location. I was ready to be even more frustrated, but after about 20 minutes taking to a couple of people on the employee help line, he was able to re-establish our cell service. It stinks that due to a mistake on ATT's end, we had to take time out of our day to get cell service back, but at least Kevin was very helpful and got the job done!

I…read morecame to golden tech last week and the guy fixed my phone up and I even got a case and a screen protector. A couple days later in plugged my phone in to charge like I do all the time and a red line came across my screen. A few days went by and more and more lines kept appearing, so I came back in 2 days ago to solve the problem and he told me that I dropped it and I as charging me to fix it again. Mind you I paid $200 to get it fixed last week and now he wants to charge $130 to fix the screen. I did NOT drop my phone or anything like that. He was trying to tell me that even SITTING on my phone or the slightest pressure can crack the screen. Either he fixed it wrong or he needs to have a disclaimer saying the slightest touch can damage the phone. I would not have came to him and I could've gotten a whole new phone guaranteed to work for what he was trying to charge me. I will not be recommending or coming to this establishment ever again!!!
