Let's start by saying that buying a phone is always easy, and everyone real helpful at all phone stores. I changed from Verizon, who has always been my only phone carrier. They just got to expensive with no offers for seniors. So, I changed to T-Mobile. Everyone helpful, but it always takes at least an hour when purchasing a new phone. Anyway, I changed both phones over. Now I'm trying to get assistance for my son's phone. We have coverage with Assurance on both. This has been an absolute nightmare dealing with them, but that's due to their phone call routing system that went in circles, and when finally getting someone we were almost done when she put me on hold and transferred me to a recording that started the whole process again! I made the initial claim at the T-Mobile store. The rep asked for the Gig, etc. of which we couldn't see because the screen won't come on, so we guessed. Assurance denied the claim because the Gig amount didn't match what was on our account. Why didn't the rep just tell me to look into the account while I was there at T-Mobile?! I just spent over an hour while at my job trying to work this out with Assurance. Now it will take another 24 hours to approve the claim just to get the screen fixed. It may have been faster to just get a new phone sent (even though they're refurbished). And to top it off, the savings isn't even there after paying for insurance, my discounted amount with a new phone, and taxes. It's the same monthly bill as I was paying with the other carrier anyway! read more

I really like coming to this location. It sits below in a courtyard right next to a Starbucks but the thing I like the most is how honest everybody is here.. Ernie is the sales associate that's been putting up with my unwanted visits for several months now one thing I needed help with was getting a portable charger. He had no problems not only finding a portable charger, but then the manager stepped in and told me if I picked up a couple of other items, I would actually pay less than paying for the charger by itself . I thought maybe they were lying to me or maybe we're trying to upsell me, but they were telling the truth and I was amazed at the great deal that I got! The charge cube is perfect for my travel needs and the cleaning kit I got saved me money actually letting me pay five dollars less than if I would've paid for the charger alone I can't thank these guys enough they have a great sense of humor and it's a great store! read more

i had 5 lines and a smart watch ported over, they did not tell us they added 2 more lines and when the promotion ended our bill went up 100 dollars and no one could tell us why for 6 months. All because they fraudulently started those lines for commission. It has caused our charity over 1000 dollars that we paid and keep paying for the lines we did not want. DEV will not help and Griselda was the one that did it. Plus our main ported line was disconnected because Griselda did not do it right we had to buy and reconnect to ATT&T to port it over again. I will be SWITCHING carriers Monday morning. I have been waiting over a week to process an insurance claim. During my last call I was told I would receive a text message within 24hrs. Then I could take my phone to a repair store. I then asked the agent if he could process my payment. He processed my payment. Following night, right before midnight my son called and asked why is phone was off. I checked my line and it's off also. Me and my son called customer service, we've both been on hold 1 hrs and 35mins so far. Whoever answer finna catch hell and it's NOT their fault, but I am pissed thee "f" off now. Pretty bad for a tmobile store, I did not feel comfortable AT ALL. Super awkward conversation with the lady. She didnt even try to sell me a phone, I have an older samsung and I thought it was finally time to get a new one, I wanted to get the most expensive one but nope. I was hoping for the newest galaxy, and all she said was "we have this samsung a13" and thats it. She never said anything about what it does, why I would want it over others, she never discussed lower/higher price range phones and the compare/contrast. Nothing. T mobile on 1st street in Boyle heights has an employee that is very rude and does not follow policy of the store. She made me feel very uncomfortable and Un welcomed at the store . Everyone else has been very nice at the store. I spend 650.00 dollars a north on all the I phones and hot spots etc that I have purchase there . I should at least be treated with some respect. I came to open a 5 line plan last week. The manager here is super disrespectful and rude ! I believe his name is Christian or Christopher. Honestly, have never experienced such an unnecessary arrogant attitude. He needs to humble himself down and show better customer service and patience toward his own staff as well. I do not believe the manager title gives you the right to talk down to people/staff or belittle them. I really don't understand how he became a manager. This is really the best TMobile location. I come in frequently to use my jump on demand and they're always super patient, kind, knowledgeable and fast. It gets busy in here but the associates get through the lines quick. This store also usually has more stock of phones than other locations I go to. My phone got hacked a few days ago, I was panicking and didn't know what to do. I decided to go into this location to ask if they could help me after trying nearly everything without success. I initially spoke to a very kind girl who tried to assist but also couldn't figure it out. She stated I would possibly have to reset my phone and I really didn't want to do that but I would have done it if I didn't have a choice. She took the initiative to consult with Ernie before doing so, Ernie quickly got to the bottom of it in less than a minute. I was so relieved and thankful that I didn't have to reset my phone.
