    We come to this store in the valley when we need Verizon help. Won't go anywhere else. Friendly staff. Quick service. Highly recommended.

    This location, in Palm Desert, was the closest to my house in RM. It's convenient enough with…read moreCostco, SAMS and WalMart all within minimal driving or walking distance. However, it's woefully slow. I don't think it's the reps, per se, but more the customers. During the almost 1.5 hours combined waiting time (I had to pick up new equipment, go home, then come back and drop off the old equipment), I noticed that almost everyone who was there had little to no grasp of current technology. Either it wasn't a clear understanding of their cellular phone plan rates, the Xumo box and remote, or how to connect their dumb or smart TV to spectrum, it was all rather simple stuff that took so much time. I had ordered my equipment while driving and was told it would be ready after 1pm. Fair enough. I got there at 1:20 but didn't leave until 2:15! Yikes! Then, when I returned at 6:30 pm, I wasn't helped until almost 7. For those of us who know how to log into a website and navigate, there should be an automated dispenser and/or return kiosk for equipment. I really didn't have to talk to anyone to get or return the equipment. I mean, I had to activate the new modem on my own via their website, so Spectrum already made the assumption I didn't need any customer service help, so why would they think I'd need it picking up or returning equipment. The 2 star rating was based on the wait times, but really, it's a reflection of the customers' lack of knowledge... I appreciate the teams' patience there. Some of the questions or the rudeness of the customers would have gotten on my last nerve...

My payment was paid on April 5, 2026. I called to get a refund since I only had service for one day before I cancelled. NO REFUND! Will not use Spectrum again!!!

First I tried cancelling online through the chat but was told I had to call. It took over 20 minutes for a rep to answer and towards the end of the call, he indicated there would be a $50 restocking fee. Nowhere did it ever list a restocking fee when I signed up. When I moved here from my previous address, I was able to cancel Spectrum easily without any issues at all. I used to hate Spectrum but compared to Frontier, they are friggin angels.

Installation was going to be in one week during an appointment on Friday. On Tuesday of the week, a guy stopped by to get into the backyard and run cable. On Wednesday, at 6:30am, another installer knocked and began digging a ditch for the line. Wasn't even nice about it. On Thursday, yet another unexpected visit from dig alert, but Frontier had already dug a shallow trench. So, he left. On Friday, the day of install, nobody showed up. Nobody called. So, I stayed with my current internet provider. A week later I got a voicemail that they were ready to install. They had zero respect for my time, just dropping in to work without notice. And, they stood me up for the appointment. I wondered if I should reconsider Frontier. UNTIL, once again, Frontier knocks on my door. They literally knocked on the "No Soliciting" sign. I have to buy gates now, it seems.

    Mojave WIFI is the BEST Internet available in the Morongo Basin!…read more I was referred by my neighbor after a complete fiasco with the only other option in the area and as it turned out I am very happy to have ended up with Mojave! First and foremost, the office staff was very helpful and got me an appointment set up immediately... Which I couldn't make and had to cancel and called back over a year later to reschedule. Not a problem, they found me another appointment and set it up for the very next day! (Not sure that this is always the case but it worked out for me!) They sent me a list of everything I needed to know and some directions on the equipment that I needed to provide for them and I was off and shopping! The router and proper surge protector were easy to find at the local WalMart. I was given a window of 8-10am on a Saturday and at 8:10 the installer was at my front gate! Ed, the installer, was competent in his job and within about 20 minutes we knew that we were going to be able to complete the install It took a few minutes to sign waivers and set up the ladder, but once he climbed up on the roof with the test equip we it was fairly shortly there after we were ready to proceed! The installation is clean and the Ed was through about the necessary steps to restart the equipment if I need to move anything around. 45 minutes later Ed was done and on his way! I like the fact that this is a "No Contract" carrier so that if I want to increase my bandwidth at any time all I need to do is place a call and they can upgrade you for a month at a time! I will definately refer others to Mojave WiFi!

I had two expensive, disastrous experiences with other companies, one of which had me on hold for over an hour when I reached out to can el service. When I called Mojave WiFi, the phone was answered by a local woman who was friendly, professional, and ready to help me. The installer was on time and showed the same friendliness and professionalism as the woman in the office. They asked me to buy a router, which I got for $50 at Walmart. Earthlink charged $16 permi th for their router, so I'll be saving money by having my own in just a few months. So far, the internet works great. I spend a lot of time on the computer or streaming TV and there hasn't been any issue with the signal. I highly recommend this company and its kind people.
