This is why you should not go to local Verizon stores..... They are passing on used phones as NEW ONES!!!!! I wanted to upgrade my 1Phone 8. Becca came out with an "opened-unsealed box...iphone 14 was all that they had, in black. The box the i14 came in was not sealed and was not even the same model!!!! The box is for Iphone 16e!!!!! I decided I did not want to pay for something I did not want. I would be more satisfied with a newer version and in a color that I want. I went in the next day and asked if I could exchange for a i17, and Rebecca said of course, we can order that for you and She reactivated my old iphone 8, I left the store with the i14 and a dummy phone #. I left the phone in the box in the shopping bag that she gave me on the floor board of my car all week. I came back to pick up the i17 in lavender. Rebecca takes out the i14 to inspect it and finds a little pinhole, not even a scratch and would not exchange it for the i17!!!!! I walked out, and called Verizon customer service.....Now I am being charged for to phones at full price! read more

Very disappointing. Time consuming to set up service for one phone. Months to clear up mistakes made with the initial order. I wanted to much to like this place and to get a phone I'd never have to worry much about. The phone is terrific; the signal is usuallly wonderful, but Verizon is horrible to deal with. The website is terrible - IF you have anything out of the norm to inquire about. Customer service has been horrible. Hours on the phone to clear up small things. Retail store can't do everything - and refers you to customer service. I'm so sorry I ever signed up. I hope I am an exception and others have had great experiences, but mine has been awful. read more

I always prefer to support local businesses, and I seldom post a bad review. I had one good experience at this store several months ago when I was confirming international service, so I returned to upgrade my phone. While the purchase process went smoothly - after 2 weeks when I was having major issues with the phone - their customer service was completely non-existent and they provided zero assistance, borderline rude. I have since gone to another store and while they couldn't fix the problem for me since they weren't a "TCC" location, they were at least very pleasant and helpful, took the time to look at my phone and told me what I needed to do - it reminded me there are places where customer service is still valued. read more

11 customers in store at 6:21 pm since they close at 8 (if they're lucky) and only 2 Verizon associates. One customer said this was his 7th visit because he kept trying to coming back later when they had a free associate. Discussion in line veered toward going elsewhere, but people wanted Verizon and tried to stay, not sure who will. Here is the issue: Most people CANNOT get to a store until they are off work and most leave work at 5pm, eat at 6 and then hope to find something open. Sadly 99% of everything in cottonwood, Sedona, Clarkdale, Jerome, Prescott, flagstaff and most Arizona towns do not care about lost business and CLOSE at early hours. PS they will not give you a sim card if you do not have a Verizon phone. We waited 20 min to find that out. read more

I absolutely dread getting a new phone...it sucks up hours of time between choosing the phone, getting the contract in place and then getting the phone "back" to a familiar configuration. I was helped by Jacob at this location, afternoon of Jan 7. What a pleasant experience. Jacob was great and made the process painless and as quick as possible. He assisted me promptly, made the contract process easy and got my new phone ready for me with data / app transfers. He not only helped me, but greeted other customers that came in the store, answered phone calls, helped other techs with questions, and I watched him be extremely patient, helpful and calm with another customer who was quite challenging. Date of purchase was November 20, 2018 First of all let me say that the our salesperson was fantastic but for privacy I will not name him. My first mistake was thinking that if the store had Verizon on it that it was truly a Verizon store. This is just a Verizon authorized dealer. I was totally ignorant to the fact that there was such a thing. Live and learn. Purchased a Galaxy Note 9, Setup Assistant charge, Waterfall Case-Note 9-Rose Gold case, Pledge High Definition Tempered Glass Note 9 Protector and a Boostup Rapid Qi Wireless Charging Pad-15W-Black. All total came to $1128.98. About a week later the screen protector just fell off so I took it back to have it reinstalled or replaced. Was informed that I would have to file a claim on line and that they couldn't replace the screen protector because it would mess up their inventory! Seriously? It didn't seem to mess up their inventory when they sold it to me! The salesperson on this day (not my original salesperson) could not have cared less when I voiced my displeasure and really didn't care when I informed him that he would be receiving negative online reviews. I called Verizon corporate and informed them of my experience and they were very apologetic and even gave me a $50 credit on my bill, which they didn't have to do. I drove to Prescott to get my phone fixed and will always make sure I always go to a Verizon corporate store from now on. read more

Moved to Verizon for the $350 rebate, they have given me every run around to not issue the rebate! They didn't activate my phone correctly and finally four days later went to the rebate website, no longer available but yet I had 30 days! Store personal could not help be so needed to deal with customer service in a foreign country and was promised twice that it was in the mail read more

She gave me $41.60 to pay off my phone, charged me $1200 for my S21 ultra and added merch I didn't want! (Some towel) I felt really taken advantage of as I know they get commission. I've had several bad experiences here. This will definitely be my last time coming in. I bought an already extremely overpriced case from them, trying to patronize local workers. I used the case for less than a day and it went back in the box. When I went to return it to the store the manager refused to accept it because of "scratches" on the case. Soooo frustrated! Read before going to TCC in cottonwood (the Verizon retailer by Suzy Q). We went to TCC to get a replacement phone for one of ours that was lost yesterday. The customer service was fine. They were nice and what not HOWEVER they tried to run my card and said it didn't go through. I pulled up my banking app and showed them the charge on my account. They assured me that that charge would be kicked back into my account within a couple hours since it errored on their end. Well I just went back into my account and they charged me a total of almost $450 in 3 different charges instead of the one charge of $148.19 that I owed for the phone. I called in and was told there isn't a manager right now so they'll call me tomorrow and let me know if they can fix it but it's Sunday so he wasn't sure. No I'm sorry, no we will get this taken care of ASAP. No concern at all that I'm missing $450 instead of $150. Sooo disappointing that they weren't careful with my money, and that they don't seem to understand why it's a big deal that I need fixed ASAP. The phones they sell are fine, they set it up on my Verizon account how they said they would (I checked) so every other part of it was fine. But if you're going to shop there I strongly recommend paying in CASH only- not with a card!!! Update- it is now 3 days later, still no money returned and zero assistance from TCC to resolve the additional 2 charges they charged me without my authorization! read more

Recently my husband's Galaxy phone malfunctioned, so, we visited TCC in Cottonwood, AZ to replace the battery. The technician informed us they do not repair and it would be better to replace the phone. I suggested my husband buy a simple Iphone which I have and like very well. We purchased the Iphone and then the technician immediately started with the negotiating of offers to sell us other products. This is why I hate dealing with commission driven businesses. The pushing of products you don't want or need. We were sold a HUM unit for our car based on the belief we would receive Auto Health, Crash Response, and Roadside Assistance for the Fee and a monthly cost. NO SUCH LUCK! What we received was a basic dashboard, local discounts and navigation...we get all this for free with our phones. We have to unlock and pay for additional priced Auto Health, Crash Response, and Roadside Assistance after a 30-day free trial of all three features--features we were lead to believe we purchased in the first place with our HUM plan. We can get navigation and mileage records for free with any free app from our app store. We are now locked into a two year contract of $10.00 a month for nothing and if we try to cancel we will be charged $150.00 for a restocking fee. NEVER EVER LET TCC IN COTTONWOOD ARIZONA SELL YOU A PHONE MUCH LESS TALK YOU INTO BUYING A HUM FOR YOUR CAR!!! read more
