Avoid this t-mobile location all costs. They are extremely racist. I was on my way to this location to see if I could get an upgrade and before I could even get to the door, this middle eastern security guard jumped out of his seat and ran all dramatically to the door and held it close acting like I was rob the place. I honestly have never seen any security guard act that way towards me. He asked me what do I want. I said I have service with t-mobile. Then he asked me to show some ID. I never had to show ID goin in there before and I been goin there for a long time. I showed my ID then I started pressin him, asking him questions about being racist. He didn't want to answer any of my questions. So then this bald white guy wearing glasses walked to me and said, how may I help you? I told him that his security was treating me very poorly in a racist manner. He totally dismissed it and asked the same question again. After that I didn't want to give them my business. So I immediately left and went to AT&T and switched over to them. Please avoid this T-Mobile location. read more

I have been with TMO since 2000. No more. tired of the decline in service and increased costs. they suck and Metro advertises a 20 6month plan online but it only works in store where after taxes and activation is nearly as much. Tshafted no more. read more

Got scammed out of $140 by fake Tmobil Rep using Tmobil's app to steal a phone. 4 Tmobil genuine reps assured me I would be reimbursed the $140 but it never came. Finally number 5 rep told me no refund because Tmobil didn't get their phone back. Customer for 23 years and they couldn't make it right. read more

I was helped by Ally F. an hour before they were about to close. Having worked in retail myself before, I knew that this was not the best time for me to go in, but my father had passed, and I wanted to take care of his account as soon as I received the death certificate. Ally was not only understanding, she got the whole account taken care of in less than 20 minutes! She was friendly yet extremely professional. I asked for her card at the end of our interaction so I could sing praises about her (that she rightfully deserves!) I know these stores really are a hit or miss with who you get sometimes, but everyone at the store when I went a few days ago were pleasant and welcoming. Would definitely visit again! read more

BEWARE!!! T Mobile offers rebates and discounts to new customers only to not disclose the restrictions on them until you are denied months after when you are supposed to receive them and you have been a customer for months. They offered us a costco rebate but didn't disclose to us that it was invalid if you transfered to them from most of the well known carriers. They also offered free phones but didn't tell us that we had to have the premium package that is double the regular service. So the difference in the service is what it would have cost if we stayed with our original carrier and financed the phones. Have filed complaint with costco and BBB and hopefully they will stop their bait and switch practices. I will go to T mobil kiosk in costco to warn others. BEWARE!!!! read more

The sales associate that helped me did not give me my rebate for the trade in promotion to pay off my old phone from Verizon. I had to pay it out of my own pocket and they never refunded me. Spent nearly an hour on the phone with T-mobile customer service and they determined my phone was covered over warranty and all I needed to do was pick up my phone at the nearest location (broadway & 5th). When I got the location is when the issues started, the assistant regional manager, named Dalal, decided to deny me the phone because it was against her reading of T-mobile policy. So I looked at the policy and it was very clear my phone would be covered under warranty. I asked her to read the policy and she would not. I asked her to read the policy to me out loud and she would not. I asked her to call the manager above her. When she did, 5 mins later they approved my phone under warranty. The denial of my phone was against T-mobile policy and completely unnecessary. It was clearly wrong. She acted against T-mobile policy and she had no interest in complying with her own companies requirements. This was supposed to be a meeting to exchange and pick up my new phone and instead turned onto an hour of debating over the policy. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. read more

I was anxious all morning and she helped me file my claim. She made sure I was able to get my phone as soon as possible through the mail. I'm not one to complain, however, in this circumstance I feel obligated to say something. Ok, me an my wife have been Metro customers for years with no complaints with low payments and great service. However, she lost her phone and decided to switch to T Mobile but wound up paying 800 bucks for crappy phone and 100 bucks a month for service for 5G and payments for the phone. They cut her service halfway though . So, I went and paid 200 bucks and there was a 198 balance . My wife is a healthcare provider and needs her phone but they still would not restore her her service. This is not right and she has been making her payments. Our Metro bill was only 65 a month each. Even at 4G my Motorola phone is better than her 5G phone. Can someone explain to me how TMobile is better than Metro ? I'm all ears. read more

They close so early compare to other locations, not sure why they rented out a big space, but does not gain a lot of business, or was it because of downtown area, people would rather leave work early, I couldn't even come in to claim my T Mobile Tuesday items here, maybe they didn't even participate. read more

I spent $200 to repair my glass screen, as it was separating from the body of the iphone. I thought it was a little expensive, but the service rep said it came with a 1 year warranty, so if I had any issues with the repair they would either refund my money or fix the problem again. Due to this, I went ahead and had them replace the screen. Initially, it seemed to work fine, but eventually the touchscreen was not always responding to my touch. Two months later, the screen separated in the exact same way, so I brought it back. They said they would not honor the warranty, claiming I must have dropped it (It was in a case and I am very careful with it)! I was so angry that I was suckered by their warranty pitch, which obviously they know they won't honor. He said I could get a discount for them to do the repair again. No thanks! I never write these reviews, but thought if I could spare someone else going through the same aggravation and expense, that it would be worth it. What comes around goes around. This was the business on Midway Drive. Do not believe their warranty pitch, they will not honor it. read more

We switched from AT&T to T-Mobile primarily to take advantage of their offer to pay off the balance of our installment plan for equipment. We had 2 lines and paid off over $1000 based on their assurance that they would reimburse us within 14 days. It's been almost 40 and we have no reimbursement. It took us 3 days on the phone 8 hours with India to transfer our lines. When we finally got service on the 4th day, they simultaneously sent us a text saying they were going to disconnect our service for failure to pay. Hours and hours on the phone to get that straightened out and they still charged us a $5 late fee even though we had no service prior to. Various reps assured us they would make it right but never did. The nightmare of trying to get approved for the $1000 reimbursement was unbelievable. They will not accept a screen shot of your installment plan pay-off as advertised. They require a final bill which falls after the 30-time period to submit the claim. I had to file a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission in order to get their attention. They approved one line but not the other (even though both lines were identical). DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. As soon as we get our reimbursement (if we ever do) we will switch. read more

After being a T-Mobile customer for 10 years, I cancelled my account three months ago. I was surprised to get a bill much later for a router and a cell spot repeater--equipment that I do not have. I contacted the service department, and they assured me they would take care of it--but I was even more surprised when T-Mobile just deducted the amount from my checking account. To all T Mobile customers--cancel autopay. Even when your account is closed, T Mobile can use that to get whatever money they think they are owed. All because you guys didn't merge my monthly installments over to her account. I'm not letting you get your damn payment. You guys never told us we needed to pay off our phones to merge. If we knew that we wouldn't have done it. Poor service. Update. So I go into another store and they said that YOU guys fucked up with transferring my EIP contract to my new account. He said i needed a drivers license and mine is expired and am waiting to be fully vaccinated before going to the dmv. the store is not the least bit welcoming or competent. so i went to the downtown verizon and was helped with immense intelligence and expertise. I was a huge fan of Tmobile just months back. I once had fast service on both phone and Tmobile 5g internet service. Note..my phone is a prepaid account and the internet is whats called postpaid account. I was so happy I referred in several family members co workers etc to join both the phone and internet service offers. As a techie I also installed many tmobile routers for clients of mine as well. Just three months back Tmobile began trying to charge me random late fees on the Home internet service ...post paid. One month 22.00 extra bucks ... another month 12.00 extra bucks... just random amounts. So the last three months when I go to pay my tmobile internet and my tmobile phone bill at the Tmobile store the clerk states you have some kind of fee on here. I ask what kinds of fee they cant even tell me. Next I spend an hour or more three months in a row calling tmobiles customer care center obviously located in the philipines. The philipino customer care center is great and they are also baffled why I am being charged some random fee when I am paying two days earlier then my due date. So of course they have reversed the mystery fee all three times it showed up the last three months. So now it takes me 1-2 hours each month between talking to the Tmobile store and waiting in line to pay my bill and the calls to philipino service desk to get my internet service active. Even after that it is still 5.00 higher than the agreed upon price of 50.00 I signed up for. They fined me 5.00 a month too for not agreeing to auto pay. What is this nazi germany I know how to pay my own bills. After already having the previously mentioned issues above with Tmobile interenet service I got a super special gift from Tmobile this month. They turned off my phone at midnight just two nights ago out of the blue. This means when i woke up to my work day I had no service and had no idea I had no service until it was too late. After missing a morning meeting with my boss via phone and not getting my daily work shedule via text from my boss my work day was shot. I was freaking out when I text my boss it said message blocking enabled or something. I finally figured out of to contact tmobile through 611 or whatever. They said my phone was shutoff due to .10 cents in domestic charges. I was like WTF I have unlimited phone service and always have. The rep said yes you are right it looks like its an error onTmobiles end and then proceeded to turn my phone service back on immediately. I then immediately tried to call my boss and catch up on the day that tmobile ruined for hours of at this point. My boss was livid and thought I had quit and blocked him on my phone since he couldnt get through to me. My boss also gave my route that day to another driver costing me over 800.00 in income. I had to run out buy lunch and shedule an emergency meeting with my boss just to explain to him what happened and to fight to keep my job. He said for now I can stay at the job but he wants to see proof tmobile shut my phone off for no reason. I requested this from tmobile and they still have not sent me the recording of my call into them about this issue. Now that I am fighting for my job and sick to my stomach from tmobiles multiple service and billing failures. Guess who starts calling me daily and sending my a ton of surveys. Yep you guessed it Tmobile. I fill out all surveys with zeros and then tmobile philipino reps start blowing up my phone. Philipino reps even offer me discounted tmobile service and a late model samsung flip phone to make it right. I agreed if you the rep if you give me something over 800 in value for the income you cost me I could forgive you and overlook the mishap. You wont beleive what happened NEXT. They start begging me for more money again. They say to get a free phone i have to give them several hundred dollars etc etc. I am speechless at this point and just completely and uttery in shock. I have been harrassed , billed wrongly, promised a free phone but then asked to pay for it, I am literally have invested 16-22 hours into dealing with Tmobile the last three months. This time is more than I have even used the phone or internet during the same period. Its taking me more time to deal with service failures, billing problems and all out lies from Tmobile than the time I use the service itself. INSANITY. So you guessed it I am currently shopping for a new internet service provider and wirless carrier ASAP. So I can hurry up and shut off my payments to the TMOBILE Nigerian Scam network asap. My phone is 442-309-7377 and I have been a loyal customer for years and also brought tmobile tons of customers on both wireless and internet side. I go by Q. I called and spoke to 3 people to talk about becoming a new customer. it's time they said they were busy and they took my phone number and said they call back in a few minutes. I waited an hour to between each phone call throughout the day got the same excuse and although they were very nice they never called back. I was calling about Internet service and two of the three that I can find this information online. I told all three of them that I do not have Internet and that's why I was calling in the first place. I spent more time repeating my phone number and name or they could've just answered my one simple question. At the end of the day- I happen to be in the neighborhood and I saw through the window three people inside and one person at the door and there was only one customer in the store. I parked my car and walked in and said all three of their names they turn their head and looked at me. I told them I'm the guy that started calling at around nine or 10 AM and reminded them that every single time I called how they always said they were gonna call me back because they were too busy at the moment. I told him it sucks to be me for The last six or seven hours. I've had great experiences both times I came to this t mobile location. There was no wait either time, but I came during a work day close to when they opened. The employees were so friendly and very helpful with solving my iPhone issues. I left completely happy and was happy to buy a new screen protector and phone case from the employee who helped me.
