After previous troubles elsewhere, I found T-Mobile Sports Arena Blvd through Yelp. Hands down, my time there today was everything I knew my first T-Mobile experience could be. Service was very professional, thorough, and extremely fast and efficient! We were out of there in less than an hour, for what should have been a fairly difficult issue to resolve. Ryan and (Stephanie I think her name was?) were awesome! For those that have read a previous review of mine for T-Mobile Clairemont Mesa, you can bet your bottom dollar I regret not having come to T-Mobile Sports Arena Blvd in the first place. Today's Lesson? Ditch the company 'store locator' and ALWAYS check Yelp.com first! Notes: The one dollar sign price rating I'm giving T-Mobile is for the GREAT rates. Don't believe the marketing hype for the other carriers out there. Buy your own phone and go for a SIM-card only plan through T-Mobile, and you'll be saving huge in the long term over all the others. The only drawback right now is that the 1900MHZ 3G refarm as well as the HSPA+ 42 4G (as well as LTE) rollout is far from complete. Now I just hope they can stay in business! read more

Well I must have been into this and other TMobile stores half a million times in my angst to decide whether to bail from Verizon. I happened on Michael at this store and he was so patient with all my questions about the service in San D at the beaches as well as general questions about TMo and the phones. I was keeping my Iphone 5S from Verizon and wanted to be sure about getting my termination fee paid. I left again without doing the deed, but returned a few days later when Michael was working and he took care of the whole changeover for me quickly and easily. All I have to say is WOW, after walking in there and no one bothers to ask if I needed help, and was not greeted like the other customers that came after me, and they were asked what was there nature of coming in today. Went to the store twice, first helped by Stephen Eisermann and didn't get the name of the guy who helped me tonight. 100% 1st class service, no BS, honest about the pros and cons of each phone and service. They switched me to my new phone and copied my contacts to the new phone in about 20 minutes, FREE, even though I did not buy the phone there. AWESOME! read more

I recently got kicked off my family plan and decided to stop by T-Mobile just to see what they had to offer. I got helped right away! Carlos was super nice and gave me all of my options in a way I could actually understand! I traded in my iPhone 6 and got a new shiny 7 even though I wasn't planning on it. My overall monthly bill ended up being a teeny bit more than what I had on the family plan, but I have unlimited data and can use my phone in Mexico! I didn't have my old carrier's account number on me, but they were still able to take care of all my needs. I called Carlos the next day with my account number and he got me my old number back in less than 5 minutes! I was super impressed with Carlos' service, but everyone I saw there was really nice and helpful. I had been with Verizon for 10 years, but became dissatisfied with the cost of services and the plan options. T-Mobile was advertising a special that interested me so I stopped in at this location. The reps I spoke with were helpful and management was great! Switching phone services is challenging and time consuming, but they offered me water while I waited and answered all of my questions. I would recommend this location to others. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service. I tried to return a charger cable 2 days after the 14 day return policy. "My grandmother was in the hospital I couldn't get back from Memphis in time to return it ". They don't even pay for it they send it back to T-mobile for a full store reimbursement! Worst customer service ever from the manager Sylvia!! I went in to change the screen protector for my husbands phone and we had gotten the free replacement with the insurance when he bought the phone. He took it off because it broke so bad that it was hard to type/swipe on his iPhone. She didn't want to replace it because apparently you have to have the old screen to give us a new one. Her excuse was "I can't replace something that is not there, I don't know if it was broken" WHY WOULD I TAKE OFF A PERFECTLY GOOD SCREEN AND WASTE MY TIME TO COME IN TO GET A NEW ONE!!?? it doesn't make sense and honestly the dumbest excuse ever. I have spent most of the day trying to cool off from my experience at this t mobile store...I thought after being a four year customer of sprint there was no way I could receive any worse customer service, but I hadn't met Brian yet. I am going to give you a clip of my experience at t mobile in order to not get myself worked up again. I wanted to switch my service from sprint to T mobile, no big deal...right?!?!? I am not tech savvy what's so ever, so any sales associate who works with me I will be putting all of there training to the test. I unfortunately got stuck with Brian who not only had no idea what he was doing but was also completely unprofessional. He didn't sell me on the phone what so ever. when he was giving me a BRIEF overview of the phones he was giving us wrong information. I ended up picking out the phone solely because he was making me uncomfortable and nervous due to rushing us. I was struggling with moving some information from one phone onto my new phone and instead of helping me he proceeded to scold me, "I told you I was going to be erasing everything from the phone". By this point I had already stepped out of the store due to feeling completely overwhelmed by his nasty attitude and dangerously close to crying. Thankfully my husband was there and he took care of the rest of the transaction and had a few parting words with him. The two stars I did give this t-mobile is due to the excellent deal I received...my bill is much lower than it was before and for Brent the manager who spent most of the time when I returned to the store the SECOND time cleaning up Brian's mess. read more

WHO IS IN CHARGE??? The worst customer service I have ever seen. Here is my experience. Switch from T-mobile to Verizon. Only thing what I needed from T-mobile was my final bill because I had contracted phones and as well needed to send it in 60 days to Verizon. At the retail store I was told that I will get my final bill after 3 weeks, to make sure that I will get my final bill I told to agents that my current address is different that it was 2 years ago. They responded confidently and said don't worry about address change, we will switch you to paperless billing. And I give them my email address. After not receiving my final bill in two months I started to worry about it and called to T-mobile customer service. I told that I am waiting my final bill for two months, but never got it. Agent said that WE DON'T SEND final bill by EMAIL ( what??? In retail store agent told me that I will receive it by email). Ok fine, I give my mailing address, agent told me to wait 3 weeks to get my bill. After 3 weeks I got a CALL from COLLECTION COMPANY (whatttt???? ) they was claiming money for my t-mobile bill. I was shocked!!!!!!!!! I paid off right away my bill which I NEVER RECEIVED. I went to retail store and I asked my final bill and clear up this mess from my credit history. They was able only to pull out my final bill and told me to call to customer service to get help to clear my credit history. I did so, the agent in call center told me to go to retail store to get a help to clear out my credit history. WHAT??? You don't know how to send final bill??? You guys don't know who is in charge to help with my situation??? That is the worst customer service I ever had. SO WHO Is in charge to hep me??? The 5 stars are for the customer service at this location and for Rich in particular. We walked in and he helped us right away, showed genuine concern for our lost phone, and sensed that we didn't want to spend a lot of time there and used his amazing product knowledge to speed us on our way. Honestly, I couldn't believe how efficient and professional everyone here was and I'm puzzled by some of the other reviews. I didn't even see or hear any discussion of it, but suddenly another associate was putting a screen protector on for us while Rich got us through the paperwork and cash exchange, like they have either telepathy or a really good system. T-Mobile has gotten too big for their britches and customer service loyalty is suffering. Be prepared to be let down for any of the great things they promise. They can afford to lose you as a customer and they're not afraid to let you know. Hit up another carrier and after they experience losing a few customers maybe they'll be able to find the customer service they once displayed. read more

i hate my t mobile service, but the cust. service here makes my tmobile service slightly more enjoyable. i went here when i bought my new sidekick, and they didn't charge me the activation fees. and when my sidekick headphones gave out, i went here and asked if they sold any. the girl went to the back room and brought a big box of phone accessories/headphones/chargers/earpieces. she rummaged around the box until she found a pair that would fit my sidekick. and she said i could have them, free of charge. made my day!!! read more

Switched from Sprint to T-Mobile and I am very happy! I was helped right away by a man named Baron. He did a great job at answering all my questions and getting me a great plan. Baron was very polite and he helped me choose a phone that was right for me. I didn't feel pressured at all into picking a phone I didn't want. Was having trouble with my iPhone due to the recent update bugs. Came in and got everything taken care of in 30 - 40 minutes. I walked out of the store with a new phone upgrade which was reasonably priced. Great service and they will actually work with you so you leave happy. Best customer service out of any T-mobile store I've gone to. After my bad experience at a store in Eastlake I decided to try another location. I have 2 issues with my phone, a. the layers under the top screen were peeling, b. text messages are extremely delayed & at times frozen to the point of not being able to send. Michelle was thorough with all procedures in checking for updates and troubleshooting. Once she figured that both problems were not fixable, she researched both problems were covered by warranty. The other rep had failed to tell me. I now have another phone on the way to replace this one. This team of professionals ROCK!! I lost my phone 3 days ago at the Fiesta Island dog park. I searched more than 6 hours over the last couple of days to no avail. With last night's rain, I finally gave up and went to the T-Mobile store to get a new phone since I figured even if it was found, it wouldn't work anymore. Rich - my awesome sales assistant - found me a great option spending as little as possible since I didn't really want a new phone anyway. I got home and there was a message on my answering machine - someone had found my phone and it still worked! T-Mobile has a strict $50 re-stocking fee for returned phones, BUT I went back to the store and Rich pleaded my case to his boss - Jesse - and he waived the fee and took back the new phone. I got a T Mobile hot spot here after being advised by two different employees that the "Binge On" plan was unlimited for applications such as Netflix, Pandora, Spotify, etc.. I even came in again to ask more questions and confirm that as long as I open these applications on the actual "app" rather then the web page would I be ok. They said "you don't even need to do that". WELL TODAY I FOUND OUT THAT THE "BINGE ON PLAN IS ONLY UNLIMITED STREAMING ON YOUR MOBILE PHONE, LAP TOP, OR TABLET. Not a smart TV, or PlayStation even if your using the app!!! Do your research, because the staff obviously hasn't. So I'm using their data to help "Educate" (that's the word they selected when suavely insulting my intelligence) because they gave me the absolute WRONG INFORMATION WHEN I GOT BAMBOOZELED!!! T-Mobile - Time to get that black market fire stick! - Mobile Phones Near Me - San Diego, California

I went into this branch last night to get a new phone. My current razor phone has been acting up lately and finally the LCD screen went out on me. The guys in there were quick to assist me but since my phone was no longer under warranty they could only give me an upgrade with a partial discount which meant $108 for a replacement phone. They suggested that I call 611 (T-mobile's customer service) and tell them I want to cancel my service (I was bluffing but thought I'd give it a shot). 15 minutes later, not only were 2 brand new FREE phones on the way (my boyfriend and I share the family plan), but they were upgrading us to the new Razor model FREE of charge, if we would keep our t-mobile service. How cool is that?!! On top of that, Anthony called a place called A-Z Wireless (cell phone repair) and checked to see how much it would cost to fix my LCD screen. It's normally $45 but Anthony has the hook-up and was able to get a quote for $30. I was so pleased with their service that I had to buy them a 6-pack just to say Thanks. I had just purchased a T-Mobile plan and phone through Costco. I had some usage questions so I went to this nearby store. The salesman asked me where I had purchased the phone.
