These people are not honest they will add extra line and devices just to hit numbers. We came in about almost 2 months ago to get a phone for a family member. It took forever but we got it done then fast forward today 2/15/25 we check the bill and another line was added at that location the same time we added the one line. So beware you might go in for something and they will add whatever they want to your account. Then you have to go to customer care and stay on the phone for at least 45 mins to get it straightened out. Wow Great job T-Mobile. Oh and here's the kicker the lady on the phone with customer care said this is NOT the first time she's heard of retail doing some shady business.......SMH Avoid this T-Mobile at all cost. Today I went into the Tmobile store we always use and Oscar Retail Store Manager assisted me. I will say it was the worst possible customer service and experience at a T-Mobile store. I explained to him that I needed to buy an updated phone for my daughter due to insurance not having a replacement. If they didn't have her phone I just wanted the next option that was the cheapest. I did say I tried to look at their phones but there were no prices. He did say that they were all digital and I asked him where that was but he didn't answer. Then he went to ask his co worker a question about upgrading the phone and going a different route. I did interrupt him to explain I needed to do it this way per the insurance. He replied I was seeing if there was a different way you could do it to save money and I just explained I wanted to do it this way. I did say sorry I am frustrated with the insurance. He replied ok I am not the insurance am I. He then disappeared and came back with a phone. I asked him which phone was that and if it was the next one from hers he said yes and mentioned another one. I asked the price on both. He stated the one I ended up getting was $200.00 and the other $400.00. I said ok to the $200.00 one, He then asked for a phone number. I asked mine or my daughter which he said didn't matter. I gave him mine and state clearing instructions would be nice. I meant that because it was unclear which number he wanted. He then starts typing and then just stops and says are you going to lose your attitude. I was super confused since nothing had been said for 2 minutes. I asked him what? He repeated, "Are you going to lose your attitude?" I asked why he was being rude and he told me I was the one with the attitude. He then said you can leave and go to another store. I replied that I just wanted to buy my daughter her phone. He then said are you going to lose your attitude and I said I guess this is my personality because I was so confused. He repeats about losing my attitude or I can go to another store. I just again said I am just wanting to buy my daughter her phone. He then smirked and said yea. As he was typing and finishing up he would make sounds under his breath as if he was so annoyed with me. It felt super strange. Then he finished giving me the total of $228.57. I paid and then asked how much sales tax was and it was 23.58. Then he says the upgrade fee was $35.00. He never once explained there was an upgrade fee but claimed he was clear about everything back when I asked for more clear instructions. I did ask for a paper receipt and then asked him if the receipt had all the information my email from insurance needed on it. He said yes. He didn't open the box of the new phone or anything which I thought was something they do to make sure it's all good. I got to my car and started crying. The whole interaction felt super bad and like he was pushing me to be rude. I just stood there trying to say as little as possible. I have never had a worse customer service interaction in any setting and was in shock. I don't understand what I did to make him that mad. The customer service of one particular employee was particularly bad. She had dark hair that was in a bun, and a light skin tone. She was very short from the beginning nor was she welcoming at all. I handed her my phone while she was helping me and she shot her arm back to hand me my phone and said "Unlock it". It was very short and very rude when I had only been polite to her up to that point. When I arrived there was a couple people so we were told we'd be helped "shortly" we waited 15 minutes even after everyone left and the 3 workers weren't helping the people waiting, didn't even ask what we needed help with and were doing their own thing. I visited today about a cracked screen . Can't help because they use a 3 rd party . I get it . Then asked about bill and found out we have been paying for something we haven't used in over 5 years . This is frustrating because the last time in we went over the bill and this was never brought up . Even more frustrating is that we are told they can't help us with this in the store that we have to call customer service . I wasn't asking for a refund or anything just to have that stopped . If I could give 0 stars I would, this location gave false advertisement. I came in to do a keep and switch promotion and to get onto my dads plan, I wanted to switch from Verizon because they suck as well I was excited when I heard about the keep and switch and along with the promotion I was told T mobile will pay off my old device. So I came in with my iPhone 13 I was perfectly happy with and was ready to do the keep and switch. I filled out a bunch of information online with my T mobile representative here at this store location I was told that because I was getting put on my dad's plan we were eligible for an upgrade for free! Okay I thought why not sounds like a nice deal I was persuaded and gave. we did the keep and switch promotion and I filled out what I needed for T mobile to send me a card over email to pay off my outstanding bill to version for my phone all is well. This is a little over a month later no email so I decided to call to check on the update of what the process was to pay off my debt, I called T Mobile today and was told I wasn't eligible because I upgraded my phone. Because I got the upgrade it changed the promotion, now just finding out the promotions are basically the same I just got a new phone out of it. While I'm relieved after talking to another T Mobile representative today to get it resolved, it was missed information but not on my part, I was not told about the promotion switch, I literally sat down and filled out the information for the keep and switch with the representative. So that was a huge miss communication on her part for submitting the wrong application in for the wrong promotion. I have to now reapply for the correct promotion which tells me that it wasn't my misunderstanding, but her lack of knowledge and communication. I'm glad it's getting resolved but the frustration of it being blamed on me and saying I miss understood instead of taking responsibility for the fuck up that took place. Communication! If it was a miscommunication on my part why did she have me fill out the wrong application and send it in? I fee like I was getting gaslit in this conversation but as long as it's getting resolved. UPDATE I AM NOW TOLD THAT THE CARRIED FREEDOM PROMOTION DOSE NOT EXCEPT VERSION!!! So the WHOLE point of me joining T mobile was to pay off my phone with version so I can be done with them, all I did was join another shitty fucking carrier! T-Mobile is a joke. I wish I never signed up for an installment plan. Now I'm stuck till I pay off my phone

My Internet kept disconnecting so I called T-Mobile. Between the wait to speak to a customer service rep and holding, I was on the phone for 3 hours. They couldn't fix the problem so they exchanged my Tower. The rep told me for my inconvenience she was going to send me a $200 gift/rebate card. I never received it so I called back. I received a call from a Manager (in California) that said he listened to the call and wanted to reach out to help. He said the $200 gift card was already expired when the rep offered it to me so he said he would take $50 off my bill for the next 4 months. Well, to my surprise the $50 that was promised was not reflected on my bill. I called twice today and was on hold for 45 minutes, I was then transferred to another department and had to explain myself all over again. I waited another 29 minutes for a Manager to pick up only to tell me he was busy and would call me back. My internet is not working on my phone nor is my Printer not connecting not to mention that the Internet keeps disconnecting. If you are considering T-Mobile for your Internet I would reconsider. I will be going back to Comcast. I was with Comcast for 8 years and never had a problem with my Internet. I would have given T-Mobile 0 stars but I had to put something in to write the review. read more

T-Mobile is the worst service, at the store. Reps are RUDE!!! You are way better off calling customer support & ask to speak with customer loyalty. The only reason I'm still with them is bcs of the new phone they hooked me up with (After misleading me on the original phone I wanted, and then giving me a Samsung Galaxy S4, WHICH I had to pay extra for and sucked! After about 7 months all my calls went straight to voicemail mail, causing me to miss important calls from my drs & lawyers, bcs I NEVER GOT A VM Notice)! Have had service for under 6 months. Got a new galaxy 7..not the one that catches fire, have had enormous amount of connection issues. Staff at the store is constantly changing and due to the lack of knowledge pool many questions are responded to with "I have no idea" or "I'm not familiar with that". Seldom do they offer to ask a superior staff Member for help.What are they afraid of? Since when is learning more about your job a bad thing? The staff does however behave as though they generally do care that there is a problem however resolution is limited or non existant. Calling repair to "boos t my signal" is cumbersome when I'm on a call. I was trying to talk to family one state away and had to go to my computer to Skype. Yeah skype? All the advertising is useless íf they don't deliver. Step up T-Mobile read more

Worst customer service I have ever had. I tried talking to their customer service 6 different times and was promised the job had been done each time. Each time I was told not to worry that I will see the change on my next bill there was no need for me to call back. When my next bill would come there would be no change not what they promised. They must give a class in lying to you at T-Mobile! It started from the moment I talk to the salesman right down to the last person I talked to. I would not recommend T-Mobile to my worst enemy. Waited in line because for some reason this location was super busy. After finally getting to one of the employees we explained the phone we had was having problems with the camera and since we had insurance would probably need to send it out. Employee took out the battery, put it back in, accused us of installing viruses and said to reset the phone and come back after. We were then shooed out the door with the employee doing nothing more than taking out the battery (huh?) Would be one star but gave two because I'm hoping the lack of attention was due to the many other customers in the store. read more

Probably the worst service is seen in a retail environment. If you have to go here, please get belligerently drunk beforehand. The IPhone 7 doesn't work with T Mobile correctly, making internet and data usage impossible. This phone can be use to call and text, but if you want to use an app without wifi or google a question, you're out of luck. When I called T Mobile, they denied it could have been their fault, and assured me that I was a complete idiot incapable of operating my phone. Ater a little research, it seems like a lot of people are having problems, but T Mobile is doing nothing to resolve it. If you want an IPhone 7, I beg you to use another carrier. Otherwise, you're going to be stuck with an expensive land line. read more

She had NO idea what she was talking about and had NO idea in what she was doing. She was totally confused and lost.
