This was my 2nd visit to this t-mobile, and for whatever it's worth, exemplifies why I have remained a loyal t-mobile customer for over 11 years (the same CANNOT be said for the Oxnard /esplanade location. But, let's keep this happy hakuna matata, shall we?) First time I visited was last Sunday. My old galaxy s3 decided to not let Waze, Yelp or other apps I needed to access for NFL-watching purposes work. So after frustrating the poor tech support svcs rep on the 611 line to the point of bawling, I decided to go to a store in person. (But NOT back to that horrid Oxnard/esplanade location. I think it's a Bank of America masquerading as tmo, their service is justthatbad) so I trekked over to THIS location... Yeah it was crowded. Yeah I had to wait, thereby missing more Sunday NFL. But, was my own fault going there on Sunday. .Maggie drew the short straw, ummm, I mean she got my name as next to be served, and, when I didn't cause her to weep inconsolably at my stoopid 5,213 questions, I decided right then and there I would finally allow evolution to take its course, telliing her I'd be sure to come back to get if/when I decided to upgrade. Well, only took me a week, Maggie was leaving for the day, but recommended I have Fernando help me. Another gentleman assisted me first whilst Fernando saved the world from tyranny and despair for another customer, I do not recall the gentleman's name, but he had long dreads, and well, he was very patient with me, so, yay! Okay Fernando got me 90% setup, Danny batted cleanup, I now am the proud owner of a galaxy S5 that takes waaay better pictures of my cat than I ever even imagined possible, and that's REALLY what a cellphone is for, isn't it? Succinctly, AWESOME customer service, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and, while normally I think dreadlocks don't work on Caucasians, the first friendly tmo guy who assisted me yesterday changed my mind about that. Have had them for a long time ....they are AWESOME . Used to b with Sprint n when T-Mobile took m over has worked fine ever since ....

So we went there to add a line for my son. When we got there the gal informed us we could get my son a phone on T-Mobile are choices we're a SE or I-Phone 12. We were never told we'd have to pay a device fee how much it would be and that the phone itself costs close to $700. Which is high for a 12. It doesn't even mention it on our receipt. Also when we left she stated our bill would be around $310 cause of the additional $35 adding a line and $18 for the warranty. We already paid close to $150 before we left. Than we get an email that are bill is $330. We complained to customer service and the store manager and gal who served us and it got us nowhere. WTF we're ready to switch to Spectrum and save a ton. We've had enough and are so pissed. read more

Leo and Katie were phenomenal with customer care at this store! I have a military family plan which is a huge plus and very nice of them to offer VETS and active military! Leo was able to order two 44mm series 4... apple watches for my lady and myself which was not a problem, I waited two days and was able to pick up and add them to my account with no problem. I was in and out within 30 minutes! That's some quick and positive-service. I do have to go back possibly because the 44mm might be a little too big so we're gunna see if 40mm is better fit. I was told by a costumer representative that I would have better reception than Cricket. So I traded my I-phone 7 and signed in with T-mobile. When i went back home I did not have internet. Next morning I returned to the store to cancel the service and they kept my I-phone 7 and also charged me $ 50 for restocking fee. Big scheme by T-mobile. Scammers. Go somewhere else. read more

Today my family and I were trying to switch over from ATT cell phone carrier to T-Mobile. We were ready to sit up all 6 lines up until SABRINA the sale girl neglected to inform us of specific detailed information after wasting more than 3 hours of our time. We were there last night when she made so many promises and failed to follow through on them. Her in adequate information she gave us was us false impression of the company. Our credit passed no problem. The lack of details she failed to tells has given us a negative impression of this company. Excellent Service from Karena, Pacific View Mall, who helped me figure out why I was not receiving incoming calls!!! She did tell me about a promotion but when I explained that I was currently not able to work, she did not pressure me or change her service skills instead continued on with the great customer service! Will return to her when I am back to work and able to purchase a tablet. read more

Jesus and his staff were helpful, friendly and patient. My wife's old phone turned out to need replacement. We got a very good deal on a new one. They also showed me how to get rid of things in my phone that were using up my gigabytes and fix something else I could not figure out. They knew what to show me right away. They sanitized the counters, phones, packages and wore masks. None of the staff looked or acted like they were up late the night before smoking weed and that you were disturbing their slumber. I have encountered that in other phone stores. These guys were bright and alert. read more

I walked into t mobile today with the intent to buy an Apple Watch, I walked straight to them. There was one person in the front and two people ahead of me. I waited by the watches as I watched them help the other customers and when they were done a lady and her three kids walked in, and they fucking broke they neck to help them ( note I waited 15 minutes to be helped) and they just skipped right over me! They are so rude! No one even acknowledged me! By far some of the worst service I've ever received. read more

Seven months ago I went in to the store and specifically stated I was a government employee not military and the person that helped me still signed me up for the military plan stating it was the same thing seven months later I find out it was not the same thing and now I have to pay more. On top of that because I didn't sign up for the correct government employee plan I cannot get it now unless I add another line to my account when this was not my fault. Customer service was no help and neither were the people at the store. I am going to be paying off my phone and will be leaving T-Mobile and also spreading the word not to go to the store or even to go with T-Mobile for that matter. It was time for me to upgrade my iPhone so I went to this t mobile stoRe at the pacific view mall. I was greeted by very friendly employees and Karena was able to answer all of my questions and assist me in getting a new iPhone, privacy screen and case. She helped me transfer over my info onto my new phone and my fiancé and I enjoyed our conversation with her. Jesus helped me finish up the last bit while Karena was on her break and he was also super friendly and helpful! If you need a Tmobile in the greater Ventura area skip this location and the Telephone location. At the mall location the only time the staff seems the least bit engaging is when they are trying to sell you some extra. I'm assuming they get commission or something. We went to pick up my daughter replacement phone that was delivered there, easy right?! They made the experience unnecessarily complicated. Staff is not in the least bit helpful or accommodating. Whoever is doing the hiring at this location is missing the mark greatly. I would think with how competitive the cell phone market is you would want to bring your A game. Definitely not the case here. Subpar customer service by unfriendly individuals. Tmobile can do better then this. read more

Leo was the guy who helped me and frauded me he made me over pay and keep 3 lines on my service when I only had two now there saying I owe 431 dollars because they made me switch my phone from a iPhone 7 to iPhone 8 and did the promotion were it was buy one get one free now there saying there's no Receipt found from the purchase and the guy Leo put all kinds of extra things that cost money that I didn't ask for nor was asked if I wanted it never again worse place ever plus never got my change back just a bunch of frauds going on at this place smh read more

I have been with T-Mobile for almost 8 years, and I am very satisfied with the customer service I receive at this store. I went in yesterday to see about adding a line, and was greeted by the employees. Will was extremely helpful. Not only did he help me get another line, he got me a plan that better suited my current usage. He didn't try to sell me anything I wasn't interested in, and made sure I understood my bill. We had to change carriers and needed an unlimited plan. We needed 6 phones but couldn't make it in until 8:30. (30 minutes before closing). We didn't expect much so close to closing. We lucked out when we met Will. He stuck with us, activating all 6 phones, helped us port our numbers, synced our data and contacts, explained the features of our phones and helped us take advantage of all available perks and discounts. Kris helped Will finish our our order after closing. I'm amazed at how patient and these guys were, all the way until we finished up, well after 10PM! I had to go in the next day to ask a question, yet again being impressed by the everyone working that day. The store was busy, but I observed everyone being greeted immediately upon entering the store. I read the older Yelp reviews before going. This is now a very pleasant place to do business. Their plans now have taxes and fees included in the quoted price. I will be sticking with them for a long time. read more

I have been a customer for 4 weeks now & have spent many hours on the phone & many trips to the Main St & Oxnard Stores trying to get a refund for a bill paid in error. I get a different story each time. No one has fixed my problem. I want my $500.00 plus money NOW!!! Also, I have no service in my home. I must leave home to make calls. Last night I went in to the T-Mobile store because my phone had suddenly stopped working. It was a busier night and both associates were helping other customers. I myself have always worked in retail and understand that sometimes there are more people than staff, however, multitasking is also an important part of the job when it comes to servicing customers. The associate Kris seem to understand this concept and did his best to accommodate to all even though he had more difficult customer. Garrett on the other hand was too busy being a creepy pervert spending way too much time on a simple Iphone sale to two young high school girls! NO ONE thought your stupid jokes were funny Garrett! I've been coming to this store for the past three years and I have always walked away happy because of knowledge and helpfulness of the employees, until this weekend. My wife's phone could not make or receive calls so we brought it here where we bought the phone. The young woman who helped us didn't seem to know what she was doing and had to read from a troubleshooting tree. She came to the conclusion that my wife needed a new SIM. My wife then asked, will I lose all my contacts if I change sim cards because they are all stored on the SIM card. The lady replied it shouldn't be a problem everything will be saved. She replaced the SIM card and it fixed the problem with the phone however, one hour later when my wife try to make a phone call, all her contacts were lost. We went back to the store and asked if they still have the old sim card. They found about five others but could not find the card that was taken out of the phone 1 hour previously. Another gentleman try to help us but had no luck. He informed us that it is the stores policy to shred SIM cards once they are removed however the young lady did not shred the SIM card but could not find it either. read more
