Are you in your teens and 20s? Do you like thick, fake nails? This is your shop! Vibe is todays latest rap/radio hits (largely explicit) playing loudly, with only 2 people working in a completely empty shop (at least the weekday I was there). A spa it ain't, nor is it entertaining (no tv, no people). Ya just kinda sit there. The work - I had Gel-X tips put on - was beautiful. Picture two shows how nicely the painting and chrome looks. BUT, and it's a big but, they look embarrassingly fake. If you aren't 20 and you prefer to have the elegant look of a person with beautiful, long nails, this isn't it. No matter how many times I said I wanted them set flatly these are hugely raised and stick straight out at a totally unnatural angle. (See 1st picture) Again, probably the look the younger gals want but it's like a neon sign saying "I can't grow or care for my nails so I got these big 'ol fake ones stuck on top of mine." You get what I mean? Check the other reviews mentioning this place using nails that don't really fit your nailbeds or natural width. They are right. I'm going to keep looking for what I have always gotten before I moved to this area: gel-x that looks glamorous but fits and lays flat. You know, like nails.
I've been to this nail salon twice and really enjoyed my experiences. The first time I can for a gel manicure and gel pedicure. Tiffany did my pedicure and made polish suggestions. The color she suggested was cuter than what I had originally picked. Jenny did manicure and made sure I like the color before preceding to do the rest of my nails. Both Tiffany and Jenny were very gentle when doing my nails which is a nice change from other nail salons I've been to that have manhandled me. You can also tell that they take their time and ensure everything looks good unlike other places that rush through the job. My second time here, I decided to do gel x which Tu did. I showed her an image of what I wanted and she helped me find a similar color to what as shown. She was very gentle and really paid attention to detail when doing my nails. I loved how my nails turned out and will definitely come back here.
I had a great experience at T Nails & Brows recently. I went in for a dip manicure and Tu was my technician. She was very friendly, very gentle, and clearly cared a lot about my satisfaction. She took her time and gave me plenty of options to get the desired color I was looking for. I'm incredibly happy with the results. I'll definitely book with Tu again. The salon was clean and the other technicians were friendly, as well. I'll try a pedicure next time too so I can experience other services at T Nails & Brows.
I have been getting my nails done here for about a year or so and was loving it! But I went in to get my nails done recently and was not happy. I asked for the color that I circled in the photo below but was told black would make it "pop" more. I just wanted what is shown on the picture, not just the cat eye. It felt rushed and I'm just not happy with the outcome of my nails. I communicated how I didn't like them but there was nothing they could do, so I settled with just paying the $75. Won't be coming back.
My favorite place to go where I know I will always be treated right and happy with the results. Gel-X is my go to. It gives me the acrylic feel but SO much better for your nails.
Don't want to write this review 'cause I want to be selfish and keep this gem to myself. My daughter actually found this place as I'm never going to another salon! Penny is amazing. My teen is super particular with her nails, penny masterfully recreated her designs twice now. In addition to nail design, my kid was able to grow her nails long and healthy. For the Era's tour next week both of us decided to do our nails based on our two favorite Taylor swift albums - reputation and lover. I texted the design and Penny made it happen! GelX is the way to go for me and my daughter loves her powder.
Gone a couple times and both have been great experiences. They even remembered me from the first time. Treated me well. Executed the nails wonderfully! Clean and calming!
I've been a regular with Tim and Penny for a while now, they consistently do a wonderful job! My nail broke before my upcoming appointment but unbeknownst to me, my now fiancé called Penny and explained the situation, telling her that he was planning to propose the next day. She was able to squeeze me in at the end of the day and stayed overtime to make my nails look amazing. She saved our day and made our day so special!!
I've been going here for almost a year now after my nail tech for the past two years prior had moved to a different city and T-nails did not disappoint! They introduced me to gel-x and my sets have always come out beautiful. I've only experienced getting them done with Penny and with Tim and both do an excellent job. They are very nice & not pushy with other services.

Love coming here! The vibe is really peaceful, I can zone out to some music or watch Penny work (she's so detailed, it's satisfying to watch). I've always been offered something to drink. Both times, I got exactly the design I asked for. I love that dip nails are a little thicker because they last so long! I don't really use my nails as tools, but I'm also not particularly gentle with them either. They lasted me 4.5 weeks, and even then were still doing well, I just wanted something new! I love this place for Gel-X nails and pedicures. It is my favorite salon in the area and not many places do Gel-X. Penny and Tim are both really attentive and detail-oriented, and the environment is always fun and relaxed. I highly recommend this place! read more

Tim or Penny usually do my gel x nails but yesterday Jenny did them and she did a fantastic job! I would have no problem going to Jenny again for my nails. She was meticulous and gentle. I didn't do anything fancy just French coffin style but she filed and painted them perfectly. Thank you Jenny! Plus Tiffany did my pedicure and she is awesome! I had a bad experience at a local nail salon and was looking for a new salon to help fix my nails and make them healthy again. I searched on Instagram and found T Nails and from all the photos, I knew they were going to be amazing! I immediately booked an appointment with Penny for a manicure and pedicure. Penny did a great job and I couldn't be happier. I'm going back in 2.5 weeks to have my nails redone to make sure they're getting healthier per Penny's request. Highly recommend this salon. Tim and Penny are simply the best at what they do and they are really nice, good people. I always get so many compliments on my nails and I make sure to tell whoever asks about who did them. When I moved up here almost 4 years ago I was worried I wouldn't find a good quality nail technician to do my nails. It took some searching and luckily I found Tim and Penny. I have come to Tim & Penny for about 3 years now. With them moving to this new location was even better - being about 5 mins from my house :) they both do great nails. They always make my nails feel so pretty whether it's just a plain dip color or choosing designs. And when they do powder dip, they don't double dip at all into the container. They pour a bit out of a separate cup and use that powder to do your nails. Tim & Penny would come up with some great designs & make them look perfect for any occasion. And they have over 200 colors to choose from. The place is super clean and very quiet. If you need quiet time from home, this is the place to go to. You can definitely relax while getting your nails done & a pedicure too! By the end of the service my nails are feeling super clean and super pretty! read more

I wanted a natural ombré look and the representative Crystal completely delivered. She was friendly and sweet. She was very gentle, was really good at eyeing every detail, and confirmed with me after doing one nail if it was satisfactory before she did the rest. This was my first time going there, and this will now be my go-to spot for dip powder nails. My only complaint was how they seem to be using the same dip powder for other clients, so I cannot confirm if everything is 100% sanitized or not used per client. read more

I have been seeing Tim and Penny for years, and their new salon is the perfect place -- to not only find their warm and friendly faces, but a superior level of service and amazing artistry. I made an appointment at this shop a few days before my wedding day. I hadn't gone here before but saw all of the great reviews. Upon arriving I showed them the inspiration that I was going for and let them know that I was getting married. They offered some adjustments based off what they had on hand and what they thought would look best. And I have to say that it turned out fantastic! I absolutely LOVED my wedding nail set! I've been going to Tim for my nails for a couple years now, and I'm so glad I found him and Penny. They are so talented, I always leave very happy and love my nails. Penny had a last minute opening this past weekend so I snagged it and I'm so glad I did! I got dip and I wanted a simple fall color and they had SO many colors to choose from. Penny was so sweet and did a phenomenal job! I have eczema on one of my hands and am always anxious that getting my nails done would make it worse but Penny worked around it and I didn't flare up after! Their salon is SO clean and I love that they don't double dip! Additionally, I'm a nurse and have to have short-ish nails and penny did an amazing job shaping them and they're the perfect shape for me! Can't wait to come back in a couple weeks! read more

This was probably the worst experience I've ever had and there has been no resolution. I've been blocked by the owners and have nothing left to do but write this yelp review in the hopes of saving one of their new eyebrow clients. I've been seeing this couple for over a year and was so excited when Penny started to offer brow services. I signed up the second she had availability. The first session was awesome. For being her 13th client, i thought Penny did a great job. Very cautious but overall great. She posted multiple photos of me on her Instagram which I loved. The final session I had requested my eyebrows to be thicker and darker which she was hesitant to do. But this was the second time I've had my brows done and knew that my body absorbs the ink very well. She finished the one eyebrow and went to the bathroom and I noticed that she outlined my eyebrow in dark harsh lines, a technique she didn't do the first time. I told her about it before she started on the second eyebrow and reassured me they would fade. They never did. I reached out to her on the two week follow up date. She told me to wait another two weeks. I did. They didn't fade. I reached out and she offered me a $100 refund or another session (I'm assuming I'd have to pay for that one too). I told her that I didn't trust the process with her for a third time since the second session was so much different then the first. She then became incredibly defensive and ultimately removed all my pictures from her Instagram. Long story short. Tim and Penny both blocked me from their Instagram. Penny told me that because I didn't appreciate the $100 refund (which is a lie) she wasn't refunding anything anymore. She became so hostile I eventually had to also block her. Below are pictures of my brows and pictures of our messages. I tried to do the right thing and go through them first but I'm at a loss and it's going to cost over $1000 to fix the harsh lines. This has been an exhausting experience and now I'm left with eyebrows that look absolutely terrible. Next eyebrow client beware. read more

I've been going to them for almost two years now, I have never had a chip or break and go four weeks between appointments. I wish I could give more stars, I had the best experience with Penny today! My nails have been going through some turmoil (used terrible press ons for a wedding and they DESTROYED my nails). Penny cleaned me up and was so nice. I am usually nervous to get my nails done because I have had so many bad experiences in the past but I cannot recommend these two enough. Tim did my nails for me last year right before I got engaged too! These two are the dream team!! read more
