With the grand opening promotion of a free Labubu of a party of 4 people or more, I convinced some friends to tag a long with me. We opted for hot pot and korean bbq all you can eat with a price of $51.99 per person. While that was a pretty steep price, all the food came out promptly when we ordered through the iPad and we had unlimited refills on our sodas which were included in the price. We really enjoyed the scallops and they had a wide variety of meats, seafood, vegetables, desserts and appetizers that were all included. We did get one Labubu for the table and sadly it was a fake, but otherwise the service and food were pretty good for an all-you-can-eat spot.

We came on a weekend ($34/per person) and opted for the additional ramen add-on ($3.50/per person), and all you can drink from a choice of 3 drinks ($10/per person). The appetizers were also included in the AYCE (takoyaki, gyoza, karaage, seafood pancake, edamame, corn cheese etc). The servings were good sizes so you can try other proteins. The ramen in my opinion was decent/average: I would only recommend it if you're craving ramen and there's nothing else in the area. One cocktail I tried was not good, and I waited for it to be watered down to be drinkable so I stuck with the Sapporo. You can only order 4 different meats at a time, and can only order with the staff. There is a self serve station of sauces and sides, including fried rice, seafood boil, fries and more. They have a small private parking lot, and there is some street parking next to the private lot. They also have K-pop music videos playing on their TVs. Their tables only hold 6 people so if you have a bigger group, you will be split up. Their menu is on a QR code.

It's the perfect balance of sweet and refreshing, packed with real mango flavor, creamy coconut milk, juicy mango chunks, and chewy sago pearls. It's my go-to treat, especially on a warm day. I also tried their Hong Kong-style egg waffle on my last visit, and it was amazing. Freshly made, crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside, with that nostalgic buttery aroma that keeps you reaching for another bite. It paired perfectly with my Mango Sago.

Ive had more than my share of milk teas here in the US, overseas in the land of boba, Taiwan, and…read morein HK and this place sadly fell short of what it could be. First, their location is very inconvenient unless you are on foot, which may be great for U of MD students, but if you are in a car, its a disaster when it comes to parking. This business even has a sign saying ask about a parking pass and they are not responsible if your car is towed. This alone makes this place already super unattractive. I fought my instincts and gave this place a try, but honestly, felt like I wasted $12. They have a digital kiosk where you can order your drinks and I chose a HK style milk tea (hot) with less sugar and also a jasmine milk tea with boba. The ordering for the jasmine tea was weird because it has an option to choose $1 extra for boba but if you scroll a little further down, you can get boba, no extra charge. I thought that was a bit sneaky, which I didn't appreciate. I waited about 15 min and then my order was ready. The HK style milk tea was supposed to be in a glass container but I only saw the sign after I ordered that they didnt have glass containers. That really sucked. The other issue is that when my HK style milk tea (hot) was ready, it was barely warm, which also was disappointing as it was a bit cool outside and I wanted something hot to warm me up. The HK milk tea also wasn't that great either, nothing special. I've had HK milk teas for about $2 elsewhere and they were great, but this was overpriced and lukewarm. I wont be ordering this again. The other drink seemed OK as I ordered it for someone else. I also thought this place was kind of dirty and could have been more clean. Not sure why the windows looked so dirty. I found the place kind of gross and it just didnt feel as clean as I like businesses to be. Overall, a pretty underwhelming experience. You get one chance to make a good impression especially when there are so many boba options available. I definitely wont be coming back here again.

We ate family style and ordered the scallion…read morepancakes, the spicy sesame paste tofu, the spicy oil wonton pork, the chive and pork dumplings and the sesame balls (filled with red bean paste). Total (not including tip) came out to approximately $49. What's Hot - Menu. Excellent. It's also written in Chinese in addition to English. For those of us familiar with traditional ethnic Chinese food, a menu written in Chinese is a good sign. They have traditional Taiwanese and Chinese food like scallion pancakes, sesame balls, beef noodle soup, soup dumplings, etc... Very good variety and there appears to be something for everyone, possibly with the exception of vegan dishes.. - Quality. Pretty good. Their scallion pancake was soft, not too oily, and not too salty. I prefer the scallion pancake to have been a bit more thick and flaky, but that's my personal preference. To be fair, still delicious. Their chive and pork dumplings definitely had a delicious chive flavor. Substantial and the wrapper was not too thick. Their spicy sesame paste tofu had a good flavor and substantive. The chili oil wontons were not too spicy and had a good flavor. Again, my personal preference would have been for the dumplings to have been more substantive, but still pretty decent. - Service. Pretty good. It appears most, if not all their staffers, speak Chinese (Mandarin), which was also helpful, because I specifically ordered in Chinese. I asked them about the spice level, because I wanted to ensure it would not be too spicy for my friend. - Price. Pretty good value for menu and portions. - Location. It's pretty easy to find. Also within convenient walking distance to the Silver Spring metro. The inside space is pretty good. Tables can seat a minimum of 2, all the way up to 8. What's Not - Quality. The sesame balls are smaller than I expected. They're the rough approximation of a ping pong ball, maybe smaller. I was disappointed, because I like sesame balls that are substantial. - Service. I specifically asked for soup spoons, because we were eating dumplings. Instead, they gave me regular spoons. Not all the dishes come out in the order you hope. For example, main dishes may come out before the appetizers. This is going to be dependent on your personal preference. - Parking. There is parking near the restaurant, but it's going to be dependent on the day and time. Final Answer Worth coming back.

The noodles had an excellent texture, and the broth was rich, robust, and incredibly comforting. The location itself was in the cut; you would drive right by it if you're not paying attention - as I did. The restaurant appears to be a house remodel into a restaurant and gave off the vibe that the food was going to be good - straight JA hole in the wall vibe. We sat in the back area and no server came. So we put our order into the kiosk sadly. I think if you give the order to the guy at the register the food may come quicker - at least that would be my hope. Without a person to talk to, I hopped back online to at least get the drinks we ordered. An hour later, I finally made it to the cashier and our food and drink was ready. I didn't like that the cashier was badmouthing other staff audibly. Keep your dirty laundry to yourself. Come to find out, you can order from the table and the food arrives without haste! Jerk chicken- a bit spicy and good. Calalloo tastes decent even though I suspect it was doctored from a can. Rice and pease need sauce/dressing because it Iowa's extremely dry. Brown stew chicken was sweeter than I've ever had but edible. Plantains good. Cabbage really crunchy, not bad taste but I would like it to be cooked a little longer. I would go back to try other things if I thought the service would be better. I'd say go for it - maybe your experience will be different. The outdoor seating and smell of the food being smoked was nice.

This dish was amazing. The roasted duck noodle soup was also great. The duck was juicy and tender. The soup balanced out the duck's greasiness. A fine dish as well. The GuiFei chicken was okay to good. The chicken was slightly dry, but it was still tasty. This dish was definitely a miss on my judgment but it was good enough. Generally speaking, I thought the food was fine. Was the food amazing? No. BUT, it was not horrible - I would say that my meal was slightly above average. Also, I thought the prices and portion sizes were pretty fair. I think the noodle soup was about $14 and the wontons were about $7. My order arrived to my home around 45ish minutes. However, I think the delivery aspect is more of a Grubhub thing rather than the restaurant. While the restaurant provided separate containers for the noodles and the broth, I wish they provided a larger container to mix the soup and noodles like many of the ramen and pho places provided for its delivery/take-out orders. Although I was not blown away by the food, it was good enough for me to reorder in the future.

We have been familiar with the area for years, as my father-in-law lived 3 minutes away, and recently we realized this was his go-to carryout. After 3 visits, I can say it's one of the best in the DMV, thanks to its flavor and food choices. You will find Japanese options like sushi, American-Chinese dishes like orange chicken, similar dishes, and Cantonese food like roast duck, Hong Kong-style noodle soups, and whole fish. They are family-owned and operated. Every time we come, the elder father is always gracious and provides excellent service. The restaurant is always quiet; you can hear conversations in the back, and as customers arrive to pick up their orders, we haven't witnessed any negative interactions. Customers are always happy with their food, and the staff say thank you. The only negative is the space. The building itself is older and outdated. In the summer, it is hot, and now in the winter, there is no heat. They have found ways to make it work, like space heaters on each table, but it can still get uncomfortable if you are dining in. The back area near the bathroom and the bathroom itself need a thorough cleaning. To me, it's a turnoff; it doesn't affect the food, but it does affect the dine-in experience. Again, overall, I love their food and believe it's a local gem worth a try.
