T W Boons in downtown Greenwood is great spot for laid back lunch. The bar area has a cool vibe and solid selection of bourbon! The service is consistent. We had the Cheeseburger with Onions Rings and the Shipwreck Salad. The burger had a great grill char on it and the Onion rings are amazing! Incredible experience with the staff! I came in the place a takeout order and was greeted with a "hello" from behind the bar the moment I crossed the threshold. Kyle was very friendly and patient with me as this was my first time visiting. Everything looked great but I decided on the Hawaiian chicken. It was so tasty that I forgot to take "before pictures." My waitress was amazing but the jackass young man behind the counter was fucking terrible on his phone the whole time. The environment was cute home towny but disgusting and disappointing needs a deep clean there are dead roaches EVERYWHERE! The food was decent but my salad was obviously old and brown my husband had to send back his steak bomb because of mold on the bread. Seeing how there are dead roaches everywhere I would be terrified to see the kitchen or the back! read more

This is what we got for dinner tonight. I got the Hawaiian chicken. It is a combination I didn't expect to be this delicious! The pineapple and almond blend well with the chicken and teriyaki. We found this delight on a recent trip to Greenwood and were very glad we did. It's downtown near the Inn. The atmosphere is great and the people are friendly. And the food!!!! Everything we ordered was well above our expectations. We had chicken tenders that looked hand made, blackened catfish cooked to perfection and a unique salad - Shipwreck Salad - crispy chicken in a coconut sauce over greens and fruit. Well I decided to stop in Greenwood for lunch after heading from Newberry to Abbeville. I found one of the first local restaurants I could: TW Boons. I ordered a mushroom and Swiss burger with sweet potato casserole. Both ended up being greasier than I care for, but the flavor is good. It made for a mushy bun. This is a great spot for lunch. I recommend the Roadrunner Chicken (chicken, bacon, cheese), Buffalo Chicken, OR the Pork Chop sandwich (this is not on the menu but you can order it. The meat is cooked grilled or fried. I like both ways. My favorite sides include fries, home fries (like homemade potato chips), or sweet potato casserole. For as long as I can remember, Monday is 33 cent wing day. The wings are small but they are full of flavor. There are other daily specials that usually include tea for about $6. And you need to SAVE room for dessert. I love the Fried Cheesecake. It is warm, crunchy on the outside with a soft, creamy inside. It is finished with a light dusting of cinnamon and powdered sugar. The service is great always. The people are friendly and reasonably quick. I like to sit outside on pretty days. I let them know I am outside so that they can come by, otherwise it can be a lengthy wait before they take my order. read more

This place is a hidden gem. Servers are very friendly even thought they are super busy. I was truly impressed with their courtesy and attention. I sat at the bar and could really appreciate the frenetic pace of this place. The phone was ringing like crazy and they still managed to smile on the phone AND OFF! Wow! Great food too! The food was descent, the service could be described as "Bless Their Hearts". Must have been training day because we had two young ladies take our order at the same time while being served by a third. Couldn't tell if they were middle school kids or Lander freshman. Ordered a burger, which was decent. However, did not like the lack of mustard and ketchup. Small packets just aren't right for a sit down place. Also, the burger came with shredded lettuce, again not right for a burger. I know they had whole leaf because my friend ordered a salad, which looked decent. One problem with order accuracy. I ordered an app, but it subbed for the side on my meal. Not really worth splitting hairs about and I didn't need so much fried food, but annoying all the same.
