This is hands down the best focaccia I have ever eaten. As I sit finishing it, I am planning to go get two more before I walk home. The kind barista even asked me if I wanted an edge or a center piece.
The newest fan of T55 is my youngest who now demands that we go every week for their Black Truffle Goat Cheese Focaccia 5/5 because it is legitimately a thing of beauty. They also have a Cinnamon Roll 5/5 that is truly cinnamony without being deliriously sweet and no raisins (yay!) and a fav the Basque Cheeasecake 5/5 but but but the star this time around was their Brigadeiro Chocolate Cake with a Hazelnut Ganache 6/5 AND Chocolate Mousse 6/5... wow way to remind us how good you are T55, well done
This place is actually so good, if you ar win the area and have a chance to go you should, everything was good. Is there even a point to me reviewing their shit changes, but enough of it was good for me to just recommend the place. The cake thing was like a big ass ferrerro rochet with banana bread and chocolate around it I hope they sell it again some time. T55 Patisserie is definitely a bit out of the way, but the drive is a million percent worth it. The bakery serves up a rotating menu and while there were a couple misses, the highlights will absolutely blow your socks off. It's only street parking near the store, but downtown Bothell doesn't get too busy. The store is also extremely tiny, with only space for 2 parties to order at once and a few outdoor tables for seating. Went with some friends around 9:30AM on a Saturday and nothing had been sold out yet. The wait can get a bit long though as even though there were only 3 groups ahead, we waited nearly 20 minutes to enter the store. Highlights: - Banana Cake (4.5/5): Think of a Ferraro Rocher, but instead of a crappy wafer, it's a shell of chocolate and hazelnut around the moistest banana cake and topped light whipped cream. - Black Truffle Goat Cheese Focaccia (4.75/5): Probably a 5 right out the oven, but perfect texture with light crunch, airiness, and chew. Flavors are amazingly balanced with some funk paired with a bit of honey / sweetness; I don't even like goat cheese and I still dream about this sometimes. Skip: - Chocolate Chip Cookie (2.5/5): It's not bad, but they do soooo many things well and this is just okay. Nothing special and the chocolate is good, but the dough itself just was a bit firm (but not crispy).
Revisited this bakery a few times since they've opened and I'm blown away every time. The cakes and pastries themselves look like works of art and you can tell there's a lot of attention in detail put into every single piece. My favorite is the choux with the flower on top. We also got matcha and coffee drinks which were well done. The staff were friendly and were very excited to tell us about some of the pastries we weren't sure about. The space has home and kitchen items to look at while you're waiting in line and the line does move fast so if you come on a weekend don't get scared away. One of my favorite bakeries and definitely recommend!!!
Finallllly, made it out here after years of wishing/waiting/wondering where Susu Dessert Bar went as its first location in Chinatown is heavily visited by me. Susu, always a highlight in Chinatown, was just different, Michelin worthy pastries that produced early, long lines. I remember nostalgically all of us waiting in line and staring through the window looking and praying that what we want/came for would still be available when we finally got to order. It was part of the charm. Fast forward, they moved to Bothell, with a new name T55 Patisserie. But honestly Bothell is just out of the way for me and I suspect for many more too, but I'm sure the locals there don't mind as now its closer to them, Lucky! :) Its definitely still a 5 star eating experience, and I wish them well and know they will do well, but really wish they were back in Chinatown so I could see them way more. Every bite...."so good when it hits your lips!"
I finally visited T55 Patisserie for a mid-morning coffee and pastry run. This shop is located in downtown Bothell. There's available street parking in front of the shop or across the street. Their space is cute and cozy. There's no indoor seating, however there are tables reserved for customers on the sidewalk. Beautiful pastries are displayed behind a glass case with a brief description of their fillings and ingredients. Staring at the selections, I can already feel the pressure of making my selection. I just threw caution to the wind and ordered an iced americano, cardamon bun, and banoffee choux. The cardamon bun was dredged in sugar and had a delightful crisp. The cardamon flavor was perfect. The banoffee choux was filled with a toffee, bananas, and cream filling. This was topped with a buttercream and banana coulis which was decorated like flower. This all disappeared within a few bites. Staff were friendly and helpful. I recommend this pastry shop and will definitely return to try the other pastries.
A French-Asian pastry shop that features a small selection of pastries and coffee from Fulcrum. I've been wanting to go here but the hours before were challenging to make, but now, they do open weekdays 10am-3pm so it was a good excuse to swing by on a Friday. I came close to 10:30am and there was a line, so it must be good. The small selection meant quality over quantity. Parking is free and plentiful street parking or the garage but I didn't really research on logistics on that. I got the black truffle goat cheese focaccia and passion fruit raspberry choux. Coffee menu is decently different from the standard lattes - they had Asian inspired flavors like yuzu, so I decided to get the yuzu caramel latte. Black truffle goat cheese focaccia - has some honey so it's more sweet and savory. The goat cheese was fresh and creamy, and the black truffle flavor is apparent but not too dominating Passion fruit raspberry choux - WOW. Each bite was heavenly. A lot going on here - the filling is a passion fruit cream with raspberry jam. The bites outside are slightly flaky and soft at the same time. The cream is fairly thick and the center passion fruit jam is tangy. This is one of best pastries I've had! Yuzu caramel latte - a bit sweet but the yuzu flavor is apparent and works well with the coffee. I enjoyed it, though I wished they served without the lid for the latte art and I self serve put the lid on thereafter, but no biggie Downside of this place is that it's super far from the city where I live, but the choux is worth the journey again. Overall, excellent pastries especially the choux. I'd be curious of their new fine dining concept ILMU which is open for reservations on Resy.
How have I not reviewed this place? Anyway, my husband and I have been to T55 twice in the last month or so. The first time we went, it was shortly after they opened. There was already a line but we only waited less than an hour. An employee came out and showed the drinks menu to everyone so we can order drinks while waiting to get inside to order pastries. For the drinks, we got the yuzu caramel latte and the pandan matcha latte. OMG! Both drinks were delicious. The coffee was strong and the syrups did not make the drinks too sweet. For the pastries, I don't even know where to start coz we got a lot! All I can say is we loved every single pastry we got and I'm excited to come back for more! The second time we came, it was on Father's Day and it was towards their closing time. The pastries were sold out except for the Passionfruit coffee dessert so we only got drinks. We ordered the yuzu caramel latte again and tried the genmaicha latte. I'd say the genmaicha latte was good, but the pandan matcha latte stole my heart. You can actually preorder if you don't want to wait in line especially on weekends! If you don't, just come early! The service is pretty quick anyway!
I finally was able to make it up here to try some of the desserts I've heard so much about. Sadly, the cafe area was not open and a lot of Items on the menu I had wanted to try were not offered mid week but the ones I did try had nice textures, gentle complex flavors and were overall light. Price point was a bit higher than I expected for a few small items (average $8/each) but still nice to try.
I have had this place bookmarked for a few months now, but when a friend shared one of her strawberry matcha choux with me one day, I immediately had to come and get more. & not to mention, I am not even a sweets person. It was slightly past noon on a Friday, and although the selection in the display case was very limited, I was glad to see there were still some strawberry matcha choux left! If you wanted to secure your top picks though, pre-ordering is available each Wednesday after 5pm for pickup on the weekend. To drink, I ordered the iced pandan matcha latte, which I was happy with. The two flavors went well together, although the pandan was very subtle. The pastries here are very intricate compared with most other bakeries. I am hoping for the matcha tart and durian flavors to come back into their weekly rotation soon because those are the ones I've been wanting to try! In April they will finally be opening ILMU, which is a restaurant that offers a 6 course tasting experience. I am definitely looking forward to coming back for that as well :) If you wanted to sit down and eat your pastries, their only seating for that is outside. Parking was not too difficult. There is both street parking and garage retail parking available.
Came here around 2pm on a Wednesday and while some things were sold out they still had other options. I tried their black sesame raspberry choux, tart, guava drink, truffle chocolate, passion fruit hazelnut coffee dessert cup and goat cheese black truffle focaccia. Everything was delicious! I wouldn't get the truffle chocolate or the guava drink again since they weren't anything too special, but the choux, the coffee cup and the focaccia were amazing. Flavours are blended well together and I love how the dressers are not too sweet! It's a small place inside and there are spots for you to sit outdoors. There isn't a lot of space however, so if there is a line, except to take the food to go.
Stopped by here randomly a little bit before they closed, we decided to grab two treats: the chocolate chunk hazelnut cookie and apple Szechuan crumble cake. I really liked the chocolate cookie and it's one of my favorites I've had in a long time, I also liked the cake but it wasn't my favorite but definitely very unique and not like anything I've had before. The service is very nice and friendly and fast. The shop Is pretty small and there's a sign outside that says only 5 in line for inside. There seems to be an area to sit but i guess it was reserved or something because it was blocked off.

Got there on Thursday 12:30pm... no more of the Kouign-Amann (crying)... I came here for the KA.... But all the other pastries were attractive and the yuzu latte was so yummy. It sounds weird- fruit & coffee but it gives it a "fresh (sweet and sour) flavor Then babka croissant is huge ; I didn't need all the cream in it but the layers ... so good. I m not a huge fan of cinnamon but there is just so much texture (light crisp outside, creamy inside and then a bottom sticky layer) The choux, I didn't know what I was eating there was so much going on, so much flavor and so much texture.. there was something crunch inside... so good The shop is small, there is NO SITTING AREA INSIDE. But there are 3 small tables about about 8 chairs right outside on the side walk The line system can be improved.. maybe put a big sticker at the entrance to say go this way... as I was in line a few customers came straight up to the display case and asked if me/ other lined up customers were in line and I told them the line was actually behind me Pastry ordering can take a long time/ wait so if you are in a rush and see a long line... you might be in trouble. BUT, it only takes a long time because the employees are super nice and once it's your turn they dedicate all their time/ attention to you so you can full service- they will tell you what's inside the pastries/ etc as needed Despite not having indoor seating they have one individual bathroom- it's very clean which I was grateful cause we had a long drive and my kids really needed to go! It's amazing that a bakery of this quality exists in Bothell, WA. But so gentrification goes - and I'm embracing the benefits. I have been loathe to visit this place before now because it's notoriously nightmarish on weekends (lines down the block prior to opening at 10). However: I was running errands on a Thursday and thought I would nip in to see what was left at 11:45. The delightful answer: every. Thing. And so it came to pass that I ordered the entire back row of the the pastry case, plus some key players from the front row (I nabbed the last two Kouign Amanns yasssss, sorrynotsorry to the folks in line behind me). As you can see from the photos, the lamination of these pastries is a sight to behold. The flavors are vaguely traditional with some twists (the coffee/cookie butter on that Pain Suisse - ooof). I love the balance of the sugar level in the sweet pastries; very restrained, as one might expect from an Asian-led enterprise. We prefer our sweets to not be too sweet - it's a cultural thing. The savory pastries really hit, too - I ordered the khachapuri today for my lunch, but I was verrrry tempted by the focaccia and I will be back for it at a later, glutinous date. I have no idea how they keep the egg runny on the khachapuri through the bake/out of the oven, but it is heavenly. The dry goods section of the shop makes me want to plot a return visit, too - they have a nice selection of spices, sugars, coffees, teas, and imported ham. Service was lovely and efficient - as others have noted, they ease the wait time for ordering pastries by taking drink orders and serving you in the line. Once you make it to the pastry case it's smooth sailing from there. I'll be back on a weekday to try the things I didn't make it to today (and new things! T55 is my absolute favorite bakery! You can't go wrong with any choice you make here. Literally everything T55 makes & serves is top notch decadence. Today I grabbed ULTIMATE VALRHONA CHOCOLATE COOKIES for a dinner party with friends. I'm excited to try their restaurant as well in the near future. T55 is a treat you don't want to miss out on, check em out! read more

I went on a weekday at around 11am to avoid the crowd and everything was still available. The pastries are beautiful, flavorful and have great textures - top tier! You can also find specialty products in their store like valrhona chocolate, spices, balsamic vinegar, etc. Totally recommend, I can't wait to be back to try more of their pastries. read more
The pastries are elite. I cannot help but say good things about every single patient I have tried from this establishment. The flavor combinations are so good and speak to my Asian soul. The coffee has fantastic as well. I've tried a number of their seasonal offerings and always enjoy my latte. My only con are the wait times to order. I would definitely recommend you get here early if you don't want to be waiting 20+ minutes in line(which has been my experience every time I have come here.) I do appreciate and recent visits that they have someone taking coffee orders ahead of time so we can enjoy our drink in line but I always have to budget extra time because I know I'll be waiting. read more

My boyfriend said his good friend found this place and recommended it! It was a spontaneous excursion but we drove here just to see what the fuss was about! Based on the Seattle Met article - March 2023, we couldn't help but feel intrigue to check this out. As expected, there was a LONG line inside and thank goodness it didn't extend from out the door. They have some market items for display such as pots and pans, cooking utensils, chocolate, baking spices, teas and coffee bags! I purchased the Maldron sea salt and a Yuzu matcha green tea blend. Usually maldron salt is more expensive at the grocery store and saw that it was $8 here which is not terribly bad! I'm excited to try the Yuzu matcha blend! As we got to the front, they only had 3 treats left!!! But before that, we ran into my boyfriend's friend who recommended this bakery/coffee shop in the first place! He lives in the area and by the time he got to the front, there were no baked treats left...but it was okay for him bc he knows he can come here on a weekday as his work is in the area as well. He got a nice spatula/cooking utensil tho for cooking! We got the Basque Cheesecake, Valrhona chocolate chip cookie and the Matcha Rice Cake tart. They had A LOT of the matcha tarts and when we got up to the front. I think we got one of the last ones. Needless to say, all those treats were VERY good! Not too sweet and subtle. You can definitely taste some unique ingredients in there. The basque cheesecake is like a Japanese cheesecake based on the interior texture but the outside is a burnt, caramel flavor. My boyfriend didn't like the outside very much but I loved it! I got the Yuzu Caramel Latte (very much recommend...you can taste more of the yuzu than caramel but it's very light with the caramel...hardly at all!?) and my boyfriend got the white chocolate truffle beverage. Recommended to come in when they first open and I also hear Thursdays were a good day too. We will definitely come back to try the other scrumptious treats! read more
Different people will have difference tolerance for driving long distances and/or waiting in line. I love that I live so close to this bakery because it's THAT good and worth waiting in line for, but I probably wouldn't combine it with a far drive too. I love the choux here so much -- love the banoffee and durian when they have it. There is also savory items like the salted honey goat cheese focaccia that is the best focaccia I've ever had. It's probably the most memorable bakery item from here for me and it's not a sweet! I also came here a few months ago for the sought after mooncakes during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Hands down best pastries in Seattle. There is always a wait when I go (Saturday mornings), but it's always worth it. They get your coffee order in line early and their ambience is warm and cozy. I've been twice now and their rotation of pastries has been so delicious. Definitely plan for a wait. The first time I got hangry waiting in line, but the second time I was much better prepared. When I went last time, they were constructing a seating area for a restaurant, so that might be available in the future. Otherwise, plan to take the pastries somewhere else to eat. First trip - Parisian Milk Bread: The Flower (chocolate croissant): this didn't live up to my expectations. It just didn't stand out to me as much as I wanted. It was delicious for sure, but I was reaching for the other options. Onion Feta Khachapuri: Cinnamon Babka Croissant Loaf: FAVORITE. Tasted like an elevated cinnamon roll. The cream melted in your mouth and had a perfect cinnamon ratio. The crisp on the outside was like the best part of cinnamon rolls but across the whole pastry. Second trip - Berry Cheesecake Pie choux: FAVORITE. Textures were beautiful, the flavor was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, but with a nice fruit that cut the cream. My first ever choux, and I will definitely be getting more. Cardamom Bun: A little on the dry side and I wish the cardamom was a little bit stronger. But overall good. Better when I warmed it up later. Dulcey Passion Fruit Hazelnut Tart: Delicious passion fruit flavor and loved the crunchy base; however it was so thick that it kind of took away from the decadence of the pastry. It was worth trying once. Singapore Curry Crab Scone: Also a little dry, but very flavorful. Again, better when it was warmed up. Have not tried the bathroom, but I'm pretty sure they had one. Parking was hard the first time I went but much easier the second (street parking). read more
This might be my new favorite bakery when I want perfect lamination. I got 5 items to try. 1. Cinnamon Croissant Babka Loaf--The white cream filling was unexpected and SO DELICIOUS 2. The Flower 3. Chocolate Cherry Pain Suisse--The layers on the top of this were crunchy perfection. 4. Choux--SO pretty 5. Black Truffle Goat Cheese Focaccia--A bit soggy. I recommend toasting it up for a few minutes to regain the crispiness. Edge or center piece option. I am sorry I waited to long to try this. The pastries are 5 stars. The -1 star from me is the wait times and efficiency. I don't understand why they did not open until 10:10am but started having an employee come out to take drink orders at 10am. read more
Was finally able to visit T55. Used to go to Susu in CID often as it was a few blocks away. Hadn't been here till last Sunday. A friend and I were meeting in other friends in Redmond for lunch and my friend dropped by here with orders from our other two friends. We were probably about 10th in line. They has someone taking orders ahead. Nice touch and our drinks were done before we got to the front to select our baked goods. My friend and ai both ordered the Yuzu Caramel Latte with oat milk. We asked for a little more yuzu and the did it for us. First all the new shop is so cute. Love items for sale. Everything from tea to honey, other great merchandise. It had been so long since I've had items from these two. It was hard not to order everything. I went with the -Flower Chocolate Croissant my friend fellow Elite Yelper and IG-er raved about this I had to get it cause she is a bit of a pan a chocolate connoisseur. That there is chocolate in each petal is what makes it. a Mango Lime Chili Macaron, their Macarons are larger than most, Truffle Focaccia and the Matcha Adzuki Bean Pain Suisse. I knew I had missed talent of the pastry chef but I forgot how much!! Oh and a durian choux for a friend Thao N which of course had it's own box. His savory bakes are as good as his sweet and what I always liked was that the sweet isn't overly sweet. The flavors are always on point. Think the one item I regret not getting was the Peanut butter passionfruit item. Cause they tend to change things up and you won't always know what they'll have inly that they'll be delicious. Ok ready to return. Gonna have to find an excuse to go back or be in the neighborhood. Like in the CID theybare worth the wait loving that the beverage menu has expanded and excited to try the geinmaicha next time. read more
This bakery sells mostly French style pastries with heavy influence from East Asia (think, durian creme puff). Everything is handmade to perfection. They also have coffee and tea drinks, which I've heard are good, but I haven't personally tried them. I went this weekend for their annual mooncake release. These are by far the best mooncakes I have ever had: gently sweet, perfect ratio of skin to filling, not greasy, really complex flavors, great texture. Be warned that they have very limited hours and sell out quickly, so check their website/instagram to make sure they're open before you go and be willing to get there early and stand in line for a while. Not everyone's cup of tea so just be aware what you may be getting yourself into. read more

We got there around 9:45 on a Wednesday and there were a couple of people ahead of us. They took our drink order prior so it was ready by the time we ordered our pastries. I quite liked the crab scone because I've never had one before. The scone was more on the cakey side. We also got the choux, which was probably the best choux I've ever had. There were really balanced flavors and different textures and it was just so well executed. The cinnamon babka was nice but a little bit hard to eat, and the flower was very fun/still well balanced. I think the cinnamon babka just had a little too much filling/didn't taste as well balanced. I would probably rank the choux 10/10, the scone 8/10, flower 8/10, babka 7.5/10. I want to try the tarts and other choux flavors in the future! read more

Not totally worth the hype. Not a lot of food selection and the drinks were okay. No seating inside unless reserved and stock of food is limited through the day. Overall, not the best for the price range. read more

Got in line around 9:40am on a weekday morning, and were out around 10:40am, so about an hour but it honestly didn't seem as long. They start to come and take your coffee order a little bit before they open (they opened around 10:15am), and you pickup and pay with everything when you get to the counter. The shop inside is beautiful and so cute inside- lots of little goodies (chocolate, speciality salts, olive oils, etc). The black truffle goat cheese focaccia was a clear winner and standout among the bunch. The matcha tart was also a favorite from our group and the banana toffee choux was so good too and the curry crab scone was amazing. I love that they have a rotating menu so you get to try some different pastors every time. read more

I came here on a Sunday, specifically Father's Day, about 15 minutes before they opened and there was already a line of about 15-20 people. I was intrigued by the line and decided to join it, so I waited for a little over 45 minutes in line. The interior is really cute, and they have a bunch of wines, teas, cooking ware, chocolate, and coffee that you can browse through and potentially purchase while standing in line. Someone in line recommended me the Kouign-Amann (pronounced "queen aw-man"), which is a caramelized croissant, and said they only make 36 of them so they sell out quickly. I ordered one, and it was absolutely delicious. The flakiness element, crunch factor, and sweetness from the caramel were all there, and I was thoroughly impressed. If I had to change anything, it would be to make it a little less sweet. The bottom of the croissant was also slightly burned; I thought it added a nice flavor difference compared to the sweetness of the caramel, but others may disagree. read more

Excellent pastries. Everything looks amazing it was so hard to pick only a few. The pink guava drink reminded me of a better version of Starbucks' pink drink. The Khachapuri was perfection with chimichurri. Loved the cheesecake choux with berry filling. Can't wait to go again to try everything. Staff was fabulous, efficient, and helpful. There can be a bit of a wait. But if you want to get a drink, a staff member comes around to take orders and it will be brought to you. read more
Exactly what I was hoping for in a patisserie! Seattle is so lacking in terms of patisseries. After traveling a bunch throughout the US, I've come to realize how sad we are as a city in terms of patisseries. If Boise, San Francisco, Portland, and Vancouver can all have legit patisseries, why not us? This place fulfilled my pastry dreams. The focaccia was my favorite among all the pastries I tried today. The bits of goat cheese broke up the truffle flavor at the right times to keep things interesting and the texture of the crumb was to die for. The flower croissant was properly airy and kouign amann crispy and flaky without being hard and overbaked. Forget sea wolf and temple pastries- this place is now my favorite bakery in the Seattle area! read more

Food was delicious and believe reasonably priced. We arrived shortly before they open (around 9:45) joining the already decent sized line extending to in front of the adjacent bike shop. Once opened it took about an hour until we were able to order. They weren't sold out of anything so that was nice and they took drink orders while you wait in line (we didn't get any). Would be nice if they had one person focused on boxing the pastrys and other on cash stand to expedite the line instead of one doing both (although the drink order taker did jump in occasionally to box). If they opened a tad earlier then would have ordered a drink but went elsewhere for the morning brew before headed here. read more
Opened 7 months ago! Husband- baker, wife is front end. Food- I got one of each of what was available (8 items for me) and each were good, high quality, beautiful pastries. My favorites: *hazelnutcoffee choux. Love the chunk of coffe crumbles and whole hazelnuts! * Singapore curry crab scone- never had anything like it, great combo, texture, moisture! * Truffle, goat cheese focaccia was so fluffy, and flavored savory and sweet between the goat cheese, honey, herbs and truffle flavor. Drinks- variety of coffees and lattes. We got a hojicha latte, as expected. They also give a stick of dark chocolate on the side. Service- one cashier, so waiting for others to decide and the food service can take a while. Especially if customers are chatty or indecisive. As you enter bakery, go right and follow the black arrows to get to cashier. Ambiance - cute. No seating. Order and go! Parking- street. Value- feels expensive but in reality fair pricing for the quality! Recommend: YES! read more
I checked out this store based on a Youtube review and surprisingly "only" had to wait for about 20 minutes. The staff tried to be efficient by taking orders of your drinks while you're in line. My drink was ready by the time I was at the register, so that's good timing. The staff members who greeted me were friendly too. So why the two stars? First, the hojicha latte was awful. The tea powder was non-existent. There was no flavor other than milk. Maybe it was my bad for asking for 50% sweetness, but that should not impact the hojicha flavor. They also did a disservice to the hojicha by mixing it with the milk, so there's only one color instead of two layers. No froth either. Second, the pastries and truffle, while pretty, tastes mediocre. Perhaps I was hyped up by the reviews but I didn't taste anything special. In fact the hazelnut chocolate cake was very sweet. The yuzu choux was okay, not amazing but at least not as sweet as the chocolate cake. The store was under renovation so there was no laminated pastries available (no croissants ). Prices were a bit high, so I don't think I will return. read more
Wow! My taste buds were dancing when I took a bite of the variety of pastries from here! Seriously, you can taste the love that is baked into each pastry. This cute little chef owned boutique is amazing. I loved seeing all the different french products as you first walk in. I bought a french dijon mustard to try. They also have a small section of local Columbia Valley, WA wines (which are generally my personal favorites). The people working here are super friendly and will help you decide if you are feeling indecisive because EVERYTHING ON THE MENU LOOKS GOOD. i wanted to try so many drinks all at once lol. I ordered the mango refresher and it was super yummy. Felt like a tropical drink with the coconut milk in it. As for the pastries... I couldn't tell you which was my favorite. The croissant babka loaf was soo yummy and creamy on the inside. I could really taste the cinnamon too. This is great to pair with coffee! The pain au chocolat was so chocolaty. I loved having chocolate in each bite of the croissant. And then we last min ordered the fresh out of the oven caramel croissant. OMG who knew that a crispy caramel layer on the outside would make a croissant taste so much tastier than a plain one? I loved the caramel crunch that croissant had. Also, i kept going back for extra bites on the basque cheesecake (had never tried before) and was so delectable. I am now a huge basque cheesecake fan. Another item I kept going in for seconds was the black truffle goat cheese focaccia bread. There is so much flavor in this bread! I think it would be great to pair with wine on a charcuterie board. I wonder if you could order a whole one too because they just sell it by the slice. I would totally be interested in buying a whole focaccia from here because it was just that good. I had the best first experience here and I cannot wait to go back! They change their menu weekly so I am excited to see what other fresh goodies they have next time:) read more
Small bakery and coffee shop but one of the best one I've ever tried up north! Their pastries were so fresh, made from real fruit, not too sweet and dried. Love their Cinnamon Babka, Banana Caramel cake: so much cream filling and topping. They are huge, takes me 3 times to finish the whole thing. While waiting you can order some drink. Recommend matcha and egg coffee so refreshing! Chocolate is complimentary with each drink so nice of them. read more
This is a 4 star place because it's still new and process improvement is definitely a must but I'm pre-emptively giving this place a 5 star because their pastries have always been amazing and I can see myself coming back over and over :) Got there at 945am and was 3rd person in line. Within 5 minutes, there was 10 more people and by 10, the line was already wrap around the corner. You can see inside that they are trying to open on time but ended up not opening until 1010. The place itself is larger than the ID location and have more stuff but my goal was just the pastries. They have a person who will take your drinks order separately as well. I seriously wanted to get everything on display because it looks Soo good and the flavor was very interesting but I ended up getting 5 instead :) The flower (aka Chocolate croissant) --- each petal has a piece of chocolate so you don't have to complain why the chocolate is soo small :D I wish all chocolate croissant is like this. Perfectly flaky as well Kimchi blue cheese scone -- couldn't taste the Kimchi or the blue cheese but the texture was on point and the savoriness was nice Salted honey goat cheese focaccia ---borderline mushy but it was squishy and soft and flavor was good Matcha rice tart ---love the rice on top (reminds you of the Asian rice roll) and very matcha in flavor. I finally made it here on a Friday morning and I'm so glad I did! T55 is 4.5 stars for me, they have a few things they need to get figured out. We arrived at about 9:45 and there was a small line already. They opened about 15 minutes late, which from other reviews this seems to be the norm. I wish they would just change their hours back a little if they aren't going to open at 10. Other than the late opening, this place is great. The customer service was wonderful and very friendly. Someone takes your coffee order in line. I got the pecan praline oatmilk latte. Their coffee is incredible but sooo expensive. It's over $5 for an 8 oz coffee. It was great but probably can't justify spending that on coffee too often. Also in line, they have a little shopping you can do so it's fun to browse and keeps you entertained while waiting. Now for the pastries, these are amazing. I got a box of 6 different things. I got the flower, caramelized croissant, banoffee, mango tart, pb&j cookie, and apple pecan chocolate dessert cookie. The flower is so so good and I love that it's easy to eat unlike a traditional croissant. The caramelized croissant is also great but messy! I think the banoffee was my favorite thing which took me by surprise, I've never had anything like that before. The other 3 were also great! It is a little expensive so I probably won't have this as a regular stop for coffee and a treat but will definitely come for special occasions or when I want to treat myself! read more
My post is long overdue but I have frequented this bakery and have yet to be disappointed. The baked goods and coffee are delicious! Makes for a perfect morning snack. The space inside is a bit tight and I would prefer if we could see the pastries as we are waiting in line, but the staff do a good job trying to keep things flowing well. I do feel a bit anxious trying to make up my mind at the register as I don't want to hold up the line but will have to keep going back to try baked goods I haven't tried yet. There also isn't space to sit inside so it's definitely a grab and go but the Bothell Landing park isn't too far off. read more
T55 lives up to the really intense hype. Their pastries are revelations of flavor and texture. I recently visited and tried their flower pastry (a play on chocolate croissant), a guava chocolate tart, a passion fruit and peanut butter choux bun, and their French version of a cinnamon bun. Each one was like nothing I'd ever had before, presenting flavor pairings that were as delicious as they were unusual. Their business model doesn't seem to be quite up to par to support all the hype they've provoked. I went on a late Thursday morning to find a line of 7 people ahead of me. I waited in that line for 35 minutes to get a box of pastries. Each person's order was carefully and deliberately filled, reflecting the care that they take to make their superior baked goods. But it's not efficient or quick. I thoroughly enjoyed my T55 haul, but I will hesitate to return except for special occasions! read more
I am a big fan of SUSU Dessert Bar in Seattle's CID. So when I heard via IG that they were taking over another patisserie spot in revitalized, downtown Bothell, this is a definite score for northenders! I showed up half an hour early for the first day of their soft opening and there was already a line! Thankfully, I'm accustomed to lines to popular brick and mortars and pop ups. The interior has definitely well thought out space: pastry case, coffee counter, well curated retail, and the ability to see into the professional production kitchen. It's like a boutique bake shop with an amalgam of Sur La Table or Pacific Food Importers. However, there is no indoor/outdoor seating. Retail items included Emile Henry baking gear, beautiful tea towels, wooden utensils, Valhrona Chocolate, Fermin meats, Maldon sea salt, evoo, assorted mustards, baking decor, as examples. Featured coffee (Silver Cup & Urban City Coffee beans) and tea, with beer & wine forthcoming. Bought a kouign amann ($5), Basque cheesecake ($6.90), cherry chocolate financier ($4.80), and a yuzu sesame mooncake ($10)! Please note that this visit was on day 1 of their soft opening period. I'm sure the product line, retail items, business hours, et cetera could change accordingly as time goes by. I recommend following timely updates via Instagram. Nice addition to downtown Bothell's business core and proximate to another indie cafe a block away and an established bakery across the street. read more
- Review for soft opening only on Saturday 9/3/22 - Store opens at 10 am, came around 10:30 am and lime was wrapped around the corner. Probably 60th in line and got to the counter around 1 pm. For the soft opening, there were a few pastries such as the lemon meringue tart, chocolate cookie (the name was much better than this but the sign was taken away we got closer), and some others. But the main attraction was the mooncakes in unique flavors. I've supported SUSU bakery in ID, so even though I don't like mooncake, I'm willing to give it a shot with their twist on it. To note, I wish they updated their IG or had staff inform people in line how many mooncakes were left. I know it's a soft opening and they're figuring things out but something like how Flourbox (notorious for lines) updates via IG story and a sign outside on the remaining number would be helpful. This may require an additional staff member but the person helping wrap up the mooncakes could possibly communicate this info. My group picked up 4 mooncakes and there were about 10 left with at least 20 people behind us. Just a suggestion to respect your loyal customers willing to wait in the line for hours. Our group of friends enjoyed the green tea and was the favorite. The cranberry was surprisingly not bad and people found it enjoyable. The honey grapefruit was the least favorite but that may be due to personal preference. Our first choices were sold out - milk tea, pu'rh, yuzu sesame, and red bean orange. What likely slowed down the line were the drink orders so they eventually had the barista bring a card reader and take orders for those in line which helped speed up the process. The lemon meringue tart was well made! I love how the toasted meringue added some complexity to the flavor and tasted less like egg. Perfect amount of tartiness and the crust was firm but still had some moisture. Look forward to what other things are in store and the process being more smooth for the grand opening! read more

I've been a big fan of susu especially when I used to live in downtown Seattle. Since we moved to Eastside I was ecstatic to learn they're opening a shop in bothell. I'm not a huge moon cake fan but I knew I had to try t55's version so I came first day of soft opening. We got there half an hour before opening and already there were 6 ppl ahead of us. Honestly I was a bit surprised lol- I foolishly thought the line would be better than susu in ID since this was bothell. For the soft opening there were only a few pastries available besides mooncakes. I got two mooncakes and a cookie decorated with caramel and raspberries. The cookie was delicious. Still haven't eaten my mooncakes yet but my friend who also bought some said they were yummy! The shop itself is also adorable- with shelves full of really the highest quality ingredients. Eye candy for any foodie. I can't wait till they start offering more items- the owner told us there would be a LOT bigger daily selection of pastries/ breads (like 16+ items) once they get to full operations and they even plan to offer sandwiches. I'm hoping the lines ease up a bit though! I had friends who came later and ended up waiting almost 2 hours before buying their mooncakes. read more

Not that I know about, but you can order drinks ahead of time while you're waiting in line and when you get close to the front you'll get your drinks.
Are they dog friendly?
It is not that type of establishment, but they have amazing pastries!
