So the last four times I have been to this location?! They never had any milk of any kind, Coke Zero, or ice. And to top it off? They never have any plastic bags to take what you do end up buying out of this crappy of a tuck stop! No joke! This has to be the worst of all TA's and Petro's in the United States! Trust me, there's some really shitty ones out there! It's nasty and there are no real driver conveniences other than nasty deli food! There is NO Restaurants or fast food in side at all! As well, maybe something they call showers and restrooms that look like it came out of a horror flick! Great location for a making of a horror film I think! The parking lot is extremely dark and dangerous because it's not level! The two nights I ended up having to stay here? I ended up having the total of five knocks on my door in the middle of the night! none of them were even lot lizards? All looking for a free handout or drugs! This travel Plaza needs to be shut down and put out of business or a lot of money dumped into it to revamp the whole thing! They're extremely high priced greedy with what shitty products they have! They really don't care about the Driver other than the money that they bring in! But TA has never been known to be for the driver! Since the early 90s TA has been known to be the crappist truckstops in America! It's sad that none of the competition has opened anything nearby to take the business away from them! Hint hint! I took my truck, just a box truck to do express oil change. First the supervisor directed a trainee to enter it as rapid oil change which apparently means something else. When her shift was over, another lady came in and directed the trainee to enter it as express oil change. Now, I asked for express because I did not have much time to wait as I already had a load to deliver in LA, CA. It took 3 sold hrs for the technician to finish the express oil change, not because it takes that long, but because the technician was jumping from here to there and for sure did not know what he was doing. When I was told he is done, he had only changed 2 filters, the Freightliner box truck has 3 filters. He went back to change one more. When that was done, the vehicle could not start, apparently he had not done something right, another senior technician came and corrected him and the vehicle started. When I went to pay the bill, there were 3 steps of oil change that I should have seen and should ask the technician to show me if I did not see him doing. I approved the bill, thinking I will go to the technician and he would show them to me when I'm taking out the truck. When that time came and I asked him, he replied with an attitude, "now what don't you see?" I told him never mind; I did not want to lose any more time. Whatever he did to the truck I'm not so sure it was all fine because the truck brought on engine check lights which I had to drive with till i could find another repair shop. I tried to ask the senior technician, he told me they would go off after a short drive. I drove more than 300 miles when they're still on and had to truck the shop for another phase of repairs for the problem I did not have. Though the oil change was shoddy and took too long to finish which wasn't necessary, I was billed $551 compared to $365 that I had paid at Speedco previously moreover the speedco bill included greasing which my TA technician did not do as that would be another billable work. - Exuberantly charged, - for shoddy work, - got extra problems and had to pay for another repair services, - lost time and nearly missed my delivery appointment That is my experience with TA and tell me why I should ever go TA or advise anyone else to go there? read more

Coffee was good and I got a clean shower. The ladies in the shower area were very polite and helped me figure out where to go. I also bought the Verizon portable internet box at the Verizon store there and the employee (Brian, I believe) was very helpful. $12 down to walk out with the box and then $103 every month for 150 Gigabytes. I have spectrum for a phone provider and it's very spotty, so the portable box will come in handy when I don't get service or run out of data for my phone. read more

Please beware if you fuel at this location. My driver came to fuel at the truckstop. he also requested cash adv of $200. The employee working at the desk said she cannot print receipt and can't give cash adv. The transaction showed up on my fuel acct few hrs later. Yesterday, the salad & soup bar were exceptionally stocked & clean. The soups were good & not watered down. Best of all, they have fresh yeast rolls. The waitress we had "Shiyanne", is a great waitress. Smiles, is pleasant & likes to make sure you are well cared for. Checks on you often, but is not intrusive to your meal. There are outlets for your computers & they don't mind if you sit & read while eating. Was able to sit & relax a spell. Today the salad bar again looks wonderful. With Reserve parking, they gave us discounted breakfast tickets. We also noticed Something has changed lately. Security actually appears to be doing their job. The lady in the shower rooms is actually keeping up with the demand & isn' t standing around. The waitresses the last two days have been more attentive & pleasant. Things are looking up. read more

We went there last night and I got chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes and the salad bar.the salad bar was decent the chicken fried steak was decent, I had a taste of the mashed potatoes and they was very dry and I showed the wife that I could pick up one end of the mashed potatoes and I could stand it up , she got pissed and after the waitress took our order we never seen her again so I showed the other waitress that she just took the potatoes off of the bill so we asked for the manager so he took my whole meal off . Clean restrooms. Small parking lot for cars. The restaurant waitress charged me extra for eggs and the two waitresses were busing their own tables so service was a bit behind. When she finally got to take my order, she over ordered and doubled my request so I was charged for food I couldn't eat. The food did not take long to come from the kitchen after the waitress put the order in. The meal was very well cooked and tasted very good. TA Truck Service staff are unorganized and rude because of it. They all will sit at the desk and do absolutely nothing and still not answer the phones while the mechanics & attendants "on 1/30/23" helped 1customer while phone was ringing and others were in line. Then when I explained that I received a call they stated that they are no longer here so too bad. It'll be a long wait even though someone already reached out saying to come to the shop. Very rude!!!! Glad I walked In instead of pulling my 80ft truck out of its spot. went in far a service on my Freightliner. Took 3 1/2 hours to get in, which is normal +/- for a T/A. Had to ask lube tech to check my axles for oil level and clarity. Spilled oil on the side of the motor, if I hadn't of pointed it out he more than likely would not have cleaned it off, the reason I say this is he didn't clean the grease off my tires (he accidently got on there) or off my chrome rims on the steer axle. The desk staff were very friendly. Another thing I noticed the reason it might take so long to get stuff done is the mechanics do not stay on just the jobs they are doing. So I had no many choices where to go n fix a tire I went to the shop n paid 600$ for one tire which I knew it will be expensive but I really want my truck to keep going... Any way I paid the tire n the driver left to his on way After 500 miles before MO the tire almost gone completely, I called the shop in CO ,the shop shift manager told me to go to next TA... So I did what he said n the driver showed up in the shop... We all agree that it was the same tire that we just replace... But the other store couldn't do anything about but telling me I have to pay for another bridgeston tire... 600$ N when the guy from Bridgeston will come to the shop n inspect the tire why it's happens than the may be will send me a check if it's them foult... I said whatttttt? I record the lady I wish I could add that as well but she didn't even listen to me... She just want me to pay for another tire... N on top of it the guy from CO couldn't do anything n said that what it is I left the shop n paid for the same tire almost 300$ cause I had no choice ...but that's TA Never let any TA mechanic touch anything never bad mechanic bed service n make sure guys when u fuel there that they not will charge your card again n double few day after fueling.. Anyone that eats at a TA already knows they're not getting a 5 star experience...but come on...at least try for a 1!!! The service is terrible here...tables are left dirty also. Waitresses let me give you a valuable tip...if you do a half ass job don't expect a good tip. You have no one to blame but yourself. Told to sit anywhere. Ok. Only 1 or 2 "clean" tables, by that i mean there isnt someone elses plates still on them. Not wiped off. Dishes and trash on at least 10 other tables. Waitresses i. The back leaning on the counters. Sat for 25 min before being offered menus. Asked for water. Never got. Took another 30 min to get our meal after ordering. Mind you, theres 2 or 3 waitresses, a manager and a prep cook wlaking around the whole time. No one cleaned the tables, no one offered to refill our tea, no one brought the water we ordered. Mediocre food at best (but hey, its a truck stop) glad that i wasnt under a hot load needing to get anywhere fast. Yes, i have my cdl, but i also used to work un restaurants. Me and my husband stop in here ever now and again to shower since we are on the road so often. There is always work being done, showers down, customer service not too friendly, but today had to be the worst visit so far. We were sitting in the lounge waiting the 2hrs for our shower(there were maybe 5 other people in there with us) and because we don't have a cdl license (because we aren't truck drivers) we were told we could sit in the lounge area. I totally get this is a truck stop but the lounge was empty and we had purchased a shower and there isnt really a big sitting area for people waiting for showers. Very disappointing!!! read more

First and foremost, the parking lot here is insane! We came here at about 2:15PMon a Monday afternoon and the lot only had about 4 parking spaces out of over 200. I could understand a Sunday, but aren't there three other truck stops within a five mile radius? The lot is narrow, so parking is a little tight, but I finally managed to find a spot. Upon walking in, there was a decent sized c-store. The drivers lounge is tiny for how busy this place gets, but they have pool tables and ample stalls in the bathrooms. A good variety of food here (Popeye's, BK, and Pizza Hut Express) plus the Country Pride. If you're feeling adventurous, there's a huge shopping plaza only a 20 minute walk away. We have been here sense Thursday August 30th and thankfully leaving tomorrow September 4th. These employees has no respect for the customers, first experience with this stay was Thursday no parking up front for straight trucks! They say reason is the concrete was laid 2 inches less than back for big trucks! Okay go to back every parking spot has a reserve sign to pay to park and parking lot nasty. Yesterday September 2nd, husband went in to purchase hot wings, waited almost an hour after paying, he finally asked about order the order they immediately gave 40 dollars back to much money. Today we waited almost hour for shower, finally asked how long be for shower be available as every shower door open and dirty with 11 customers on screen waiting on shower. When our number was called we got a dirty shower, towels tossed in rack floor so dirty looked liked pure grease in floor. The bench in shower was filthy, was no clean place to put my bag. The employee who responsible for cleaning showers keep giving us dirty looks after complaining. This TA has changed completely, they want the money but don't value the customers. read more

September 23rd, we arrived at a TA truck stop and parked in part of the parking lot off to the side instead of the truck parking lot, out of courtesy for the truck drivers. Around 8:30pm, a security guard came over and said that RVs have a two hour limit there. We've been to TA truck stops before, and RVs were always welcome there to stay the night. Since it was late, he helped us find a spot in the trucking parking lot for us to stay. He said that we had to leave the car where it was, because it wasn't allowed in the trucking section. Also strange, because we've never had a problem with that either before at any of the truck stops we've been at. Shortly after we decided to get some sleep, we got hit by an 18 wheeler. No one was injured, thankfully. The only damage was to the back/back side of the motorhome (where the tail lights are on a car, it's moderately damaged). We got the insurance info from the trucker and asked for his driver's license to write down, but he wouldn't give any identifying info about himself. We waited until morning (September 24th) to ask for his name, number, driver's license...for several hours. He abbreviated his first name and wrote his last, along with a number. Still wouldn't give the driver's license, and left. We went to the police department to file an accident report afterwards and went back to the motorhome. We're going to need to stay here to get the motorhome repaired, which could take who knows how long. I looked up the trucking company to get the number (wasn't on the insurance papers), and saw there was no trucking company at that address. It could be that they moved to a new location, I don't know. After one last errand to run a few hours later, we got back to the motorhome around 8 pm. A different security guard came and started shining his flashlight in the motorhome. He said he was waiting all day for us to leave, but we had to leave at that exact moment. Anya, my friend, responded that the reason we were there so long was because we had an accident the night before in the parking lot, and the arrogant sonofabitch said, "Well that's why you're not allowed here," and smiled. We were busy earlier with running around getting things done, but we said we'll leave. I asked Anya to drive me over to where my car was (parts of the parking lot were dark, it was for my safety). Anya drove me over and I got in the car after checking to make sure the motorhome brake lights still worked after being hit. I saw the security car pull behind us, and the same security guard went over to start questioning Anya, and then came over to me. He started questioning me if I was soliciting, and told me to be honest with him. He asked me three times if I was a prostitute. I said no each time. Each time I answered honestly. Frustrated and upset, I finally asked, "Do I look like a prostitute to you?" I was wearing a pink shirt, blue Reebok shorts, and sneakers. No, it doesn't match, but at the time I could've cared less. Does that sound like prostitute attire? If I was a prostitute, I would've worn something else that advertised "prostitute," done my hair and makeup, etc. He asked why I was parked there if I wasn't a prostitute, and didn't give me time to explain. In addition, I tried explaining that we've been friends for several years, that both of us are RNs, and how Anya helped mentor me with nursing school. So then he started saying that Anya paid for nursing school and in return for sex. I said no, and he said he didn't believe me and that he's going to report me for being a prostitute. He also mentioned not believing me more because of having two different state license plates. I tried to show my RN license but he walked away. Yes, I'm having difficulty getting a job in my field, it's upsetting more than I can say, but I would never whore myself out. I'd get a regular job. When I moved out of my parents home, they refused for the longest time to give me any documents I needed- ss card, birth certificate, passport, title, etc, so I'd come back home. Just recently I received my title so I can get a TX license plate. Anya came to see what the security guard was questioning me over, and the guy started yelling at us about me being a whore, it being against the law, how he's going to report us. He started yelling at Anya for coming over, for not immediately leaving the premises, and asked if Anya was refusing to leave. Reply was no, and also tried to explain about driving me over to the parking lot for my safety. Like everything else said to him, it fell on deaf ears. He started yelling at Anya to stand down or Anya would be detained. The fucking asshole reached for his gun! The security guard kept yelling at us that we're on private property and told us we're not allowed back on it. He tried telling me that we had no business there since we haven't given them any business, and I pointed out that we did. Still wouldn't believe anything that was said. read more
