It took about 10 minutes for them to assemble my meal, but my veggies were cooked fresh on the stove, which was really nice. They tasted very freshly cooked just as they would as if I had cooked them myself at home. I was there about 1245 on a Monday and there were a few people there and they had some takeout orders so my order took about 10 minutes before I could walk out the door with it. They had a nice condiment bar where you could pick out some yogurt with dill sauce and then they're famous garlic yogurt sauce, as well as a jalapeño sauce And another spicy hot one that I would never try. When I got back to the jury room to eat my meal, I saw that there was a nice quantity of the fresh salad and the grilled vegetables but the meat was piled high! The employees were working efficiently and the place was spotless and orderly.

5 Stars -- They Really Turned Things Around I originally left a very negative review after a frustrating experience with a reservation and the way we were treated when we arrived. At the time, I was extremely disappointed and honestly didn't think I would come back. But I have to give credit where credit is due. I've been back to Tabac Plus several times since then, and the experience has completely changed. The service, organization, hospitality, and overall experience have improved tremendously. It's clear that the team took customer feedback seriously and actually made an effort to do better. What I appreciate most is seeing a business take criticism, make changes, and genuinely improve rather than simply responding to a bad review. My recent visits have been great, and the staff have been much more welcoming and attentive. I'm happy to update my original review because I believe businesses deserve recognition when they make real improvements. He's way too busy running a social club at the door -- letting his friends skip the line, chatting up girls, and collecting phone numbers like it's speed dating night. We showed up early for our reservation, silly us thinking that meant we'd actually get a table. An hour later, still waiting, while Ahmet's buddies are already halfway through their appetizers. Every time we asked, we got the same robotic answer: "I can't make people leave." Yeah, but apparently you can make everyone else wait. I would give zero stars if I could. If you offer reservations, respect people's time or don't take them at all. I fell for the fake reviews and obviously they try to delete reviews if it's against them which is sad !!! Freaking scam We made a reservation and arrived right on time, but still had to wait over an hour with no updates. The host said he couldn't make people leave, but during that time, we saw at least 4 or 5 groups without reservations being seated right away -- all of them seemed to be his Turkish friends. That's very disrespectful and unfair to paying customers who booked in advance. If you can't manage reservations properly, don't take so many. I won't be coming back. There are plenty of other places downtown that actually respect their customers and their time. read more

We had mini empanadas filled with flavorful ground beef served with creamy tzatziki sauce; Vegetarian grape leaves with a mixture of rice, parsley, and tomatoes, and onions; spinach fatayer crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and stuffed with spinach, lemon juice, onions, tomatoes, and a little bit of walnuts for a crunch; and chicken tikka skewers with garlic. All the Lebanese food is made from scratch! The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Everything was fresh flavorful and cooked perfectly. Our guests could not stop talking about how good food was. The service was impeccable. Chef Mark was very responsive, well prepared, and organized from my very first phone call to the last text. He was punctual, organized, and incredibly easy to work with. The prices were very reasonable and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He is personable, friendly and professional. He is just a nice guy. I would highly recommend MAISA for any event and will definitely use Chef Mark again.

First up, their Turkish Breakfast, served ALL DAY, with Menemen as our egg choice. If you've never had Menemen, it's such a delicious combo: soft scrambled eggs cooked with tomatoes, green peppers, onions, warm spices and olive oil. The full breakfast spread comes loaded with cheeses, olives, sucuk, jams, honey, tahini, molasses, veggies and bread. Then came the Feast for 4, a massive spread of Adana kebab, chicken shish, köfte, lamb chops and döner alongside rice, salad and hummus. We also tried their potato gözleme with tzatziki, Euphoria Meze Mix, Turkish coffee and a Chunky Monkey smoothie. And don't sleep on their new hookahs. We tried the Hookahccino with a chocolate milk base, which was such a unique touch. It made the experience incredibly smooth with a subtle chocolatey sweetness. Between the colorful, photo-ready decor, delicious food and genuinely kind and helpful staff, Euphoria feels equally suited for dinner with friends or settling in for a late-night hookah session.

With so many incredible restaurants in San Diego, a restaurant positioning itself at this level really needs the service to match. The food was decent, but inconsistent. The standouts for us were the babaganoush, chicken, patatas bravas, and saffron linguine. The hanger steak lacked flavor, the lamb was just okay, and the tuna was disappointing, especially for the price. We spent over $600 and left wishing the experience had felt more like the elevated dining experience Callie seems to be aiming for. Beautiful space and a few great dishes, but overall we left disappointed and probably wouldn't return. I hope this place treats their guests with more warmth and care in the future especially with the price points.
