ALL vegan, not just options. Food truck with an easy order screen and covered picnic tables FANTASTIC LOCO MOCO!!!! Great staff. Totally chill, and no corpses! We'll be back!

Delicious & fresh! Affordable and healthy! They offer meal prep & catering. They also have a food truck. We tried the Kitchari and it was amazing! Highly recommend!

I've heard about this vegan food truck and couldn't wait to try it. I met Tabay at a networking event where I tried his Persian veggie burger. Ono! Had to find that food truck pronto!! In Kahului, across from Costco are several different areas with food trucks. Go to the one closest to the Marriott hotel and look for the bright, orange food truck. Omg, I couldn't believe how many choices there are!!! A vegan heaven !!! (The menu online doesn't show everything he offers.) I ended up ordering Mexican grilled wrap. (Not sure of name). It was HUGE!!!!! And had left overs for another day. The to go box even had a hand-written note in it. (Love is in the details.) And Tabay even delivered it himself. I highly recommend Tabay's if your vegetarian or looking to add healthier but fun food choices. Can't wait til next time!!

It's always great to find new vegan stops and Tabay's Mindful Kitchen was an EPIC find after a 12 hour day on the Road to Hana. We just made it to Tabay's about 30 minutes prior to closing and were warmly welcomed by Tabay with his big smile and positive energy! His truck is fun and was impressed with his great marketing and graphic work on his truck. Opening the menu was one after another thoughts of "Wow that sounds great"... "and so does that". After some contemplation and Tabay giving some feedback i landed on the BBQ Burger topped with onions rings. I had to add in the order of Buffalo Wings and an iced cold Lavender Lemonade. My family tried a wide range of different menu items like Buffalo Chik sandwich, Fish Tacos, and much much more. So let me jump right in and saw Oh My goodness... this was a massive surprise and everything we had was absolutely mind blowing. Now full disclosure. We are from Chicago and our entire family ( including 4 boys) have been vegetarian and spoiled with some of the best restaurants on the planet. Tabay's Mindful Kitchen literally just ranked to the top of my list. From the cute food court, clean kitchen, and infectious positivity I would fly back to Maui just for another visit to Tabay's! This is a must stop for Vegan, Vegetarians and even those meat eaters. I guarantee your mind will be Ask Tabay about his story... what a great one. All the best to Tabay ...a true entrepreneur!

Delectable Plant Based food in paradise. Doesnt get any better. Awesome customer Service. Big Macs were my favorite back then and this satisfied the taste buds and delivered. The food was AMAZING! Definitely visit if you're vegan and in Maui. We spoke with the owner at the end of our meal and the service + backstory is fascinating! They left thoughtful personal messages in each of our containers and on the bag. The area is also very nice!

We got the loco moco and the mexican pizza and both were delicious. The chef was incredibly accommodating and even let me change my order at the last minute, so I'm definitely coming back to try the crispy chicken burger next time!

Best vegan food ever!!! There's so many options for any time of the day! Breakfast is served all day too! Woot woot! I highly recommend you stop by here to try this incredible food truck and to meet Tabay and his mother! They are super positive and genuine!! The human fries are like the in n out animal fries but BETTER!!! I've had vegan animal fries from other vegan establishments and nothing beats Tabay's! I had the spicy chicken sandwich and it was by far one of the best I've had. I am not even close to being a vegan but I will not hesitate to eat here again and again. Have no idea why their slogan is "Food for Mind, Body, and Planet" ...as a nutritionist, literally nothing on their menu is nutritious or "good" for you. I also unfortunately experienced bad customer service making waiting in line a very long time for a simple and basic frozen yogurt even more of a negative experience. Will not be a returning customer. read more

First time visiting Tabay's and we will most definitely be back! The food was delicious - classic burger, Persian wrap, fish tacos and human fries were all perfectly prepared and great portion sizes. Awesome to find a Vegan food truck with soooo many options!! My favorites were the truffle fries, cut fresh right there in the truck! And the fresh squeezed watermelon juice was to die for!! I was fortunate to stay at a hotel right by Tabay's food truck. The food was wonderful. I finally got some decent vegan onion rings and the crispy chicken on pretzel bun was amazing - crunchy and flavorful. Tabay also entertained me with conversation while the food was cooking so the time flew by. Thanks so much! read more

As I was driving, this orange food truck caught my eye last month but didn't see anyone going to it. Until I read a clip on the newspaper 'local yogi opens a vegan food truck'. It had just opened. I had to try it because my sister is vegan. And I love local mom n pop's. When we arrived, we were greeted by Tabay. He gave me the menu. I ordered the 3 f'sh tacos, f'sh & chips and the human style fries which his mom recommended. They all tasted wonderful. I was quite surprised by the variety in the menu. I have yet to come back for some more tasty vegan food. Tabay's Mindful Kitchen is one of a kind gem! This time I'll bring my sister and my nieces. I love that this is family owned and it's nearby Capistrano Beach and Doheny beach. read more

Had Persian burger and BBQ chicken burger there on two different occasions. Every time it was amazing and flavorful. I am not the one to leave reviews but am so inclined to give them 5 stars as they are good people with amazingly tasting food. Even though it's a food truck but the quality of food is no less than a chef class restaurant! Will be going there every day of my stay in Maui! read more

First of all, I'm extremely skeptical about vegan food, or any vegetarian food for that matter. We are still in disbelief that what we ate was actually vegan but Tabay served it up himself and guaranteed everything was vegan, so it must be true! It was so delicious, fresh and meaty-tasting....you'd have no idea that it is really vegan....Highly recommended to all the skeptics out there. read more

The food definitely fooled me, I could tell that it was vegan!!!! The service is exactly what you expect from Hawaiian hospitality, no worries even if there is any mix up on your order. Don't like what you ate no worries you'll be reimbursed. The ambiance is out of there control but it was fine where you'll be sitting, just look out if there are chickens perched above you while sitting underneath the tent. read more

Love that we have some delicious vegan food options in our little town. I usually have to drive to Aliso to go to veggie grill but I'd much rather support a local family owned business. Lucky for me the food is super tasty and the service is amazing. I was at a coffee shop this morning and some people there were talking about how amazing the food was at Tabay's so my mom and I came to grab some lunch. We got the crunchy tacos and eggs rolls, the tacos were super tasty, they remind me of Taco Bell crunchy tacos but obviously vegan but taste wise I think they got it spot on. The egg rolls were good but the tacos stole the show for me. I definitely will be back soon to try more of the menu!! read more

I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and my girlfriend ordered the fish tacos. We also got an order of French fries and curly fries. The food was fresh and delicious! I can guarantee that it's the same texture and taste as non-vegan food. To top it off we got an oat milk soft-serve swirl and it was very light and tasty. This is a vegetarian's paradise and a vegan's ultimate YUM meal. It's so hard to find good vegetarian food, let alone a vegan kitchen that delivers delicious, filling, super tasty food. The bartender recommended the IPA and it was excellent. The homemade tots were great. A shredded potato in the middle, nice and creamy and crunchy exterior. Feedback was there were only 5 on the plate. Definitely could use more. The bison patty met was perfectly cooked. A lot of folks overcook and dry out the bison. It was perfectly medium and juicy. Feedback would be a little char on the patty would be great. The service really tailed off in the end, it was not super busy and they had about 5 servers behind the bar. I sat there for at least 15 min until another bar tender asked if I wanted another brew and my server came about 5 to 10 later to attend to things.

Let me start this review by saying this food is not just good. It's amazing! Forget vegan and non vegan, take all the preconceived notions you have and throw them away. My wife ordered the chicken sandwich and I got the crunch wrap for our first of several meals here (yes, several!). The flavors were fresh, quality and just so well balanced! Nothing overpowered anything else and before I knew it, it was gone and I wanted another one. My wife, who doesn't even eat chicken sandwiches (even when she wasn't vegan) loved the sandwich so much she got it three more times lol Basically whatever you order you and don't be disappointed. But what takes it over the top is the people who run this truck. The mother and son team have got to be the nicest and sweetest people we've ever met! Their service is above and beyond. So far we have tried the BBQ Bacon Burger, Persian Burger, Buffalo Chick'n Wrap, Double Decker Taco, fries, Aloha Fruit Smoothie, and the Persian Cherry Drink. Everything has been nothing short of freakin' DELICIOUS. My absolute favorite is the BBQ Bacon Burger which I have craved ever since I tried it the first time!!!! OMG YUM!!!! I had a Persian burger and it was most flavorful! And the freshness of the vegetables and picked vegetables just complemented the burger for a most exotic experience for the palate! I also tried the fish & sticks - delicious! And the fish taco was another hit as well! Top it all off with a lavender lemonade! The BEST Loco Moco! Stopped at Tabays Mindful Kitchen food truck to try the Loco Moco and I was so pleasantly surprised as to how good it was. Probably the best meal I had while on Maui. To find out half way through my meal it was vegan I was floored. I would have never known. They go out of their way to make sure you have the best experience.
