Not pleased at all. Went on a slow Tuesday night. First, stale popcorn as a complimentary appetizer was not impressive. We ordered the crispy brussels appetizer, and they weren't as crispy as I like them to be. However, they were the best thing about the meal. For the entree, my mushroom ravioli should have been called "pesto sauce." I could taste nothing else. My wife had the farfalle pasta carbonara. The pasta was decent, and the pancetta was pretty good, but the chicken was burned. The desserts sounded like the chef wanted to do too much with them. Considering how slow it was, one would think that a manager (or even the purported owner) would have come around to check on us since they are relatively new. That didn't happen. Overall, the food was overpriced for the lack of quality that we received. A disappointing experience that we will not repeat there. read more

Ok to be fair the service was excellent but the food was not. My boyfriend and I have dined here 4 times now and I really want to like it. The place is cute but the booths seating on the bottom cushions are already getting uncomfortable. Last time we had to send our soup back and the hamburger was so over cooked. My family and I stumbled upon this restaurant during our recent weekend getaway to Lake Allatoona. My parents were visiting from South Florida for the weekend! We started with a wine tasting at Olive Tree and Vine and afterwards walked further down Main Street looking for some dinner. Coming from Atlanta where there are amazing restaurants at every turn, I have to say that my expectations weren't very high. BOY WAS I WRONG! Every single thing we ordered at Table 20 was delicious! Just as good if not better than a lot of restaurants I go to in Atlanta. We ordered the pork chop (my dad said it was one of the best he's ever had), the Chicken Carbonara, the Salmon and the Trout! This is a place you go to when you can make up your mind what to eat when the other 3 decent places around aren't calling your name but wish there were. Seated immediately with a dirty 10 top behind you yet there's 4/5 servers/hostess at the wait station doing nothing or looking at there phones.. 8 mins go by and finally someone comes over to grab out drinks to which we ordered water to start as we didn't have a drink menu.. Finally got one from someone else and Tiffany appears and is a breath of fresh air. Someone who has been in the industry for 20 years she was great but feel like she was the only one who was busting there A@@ as every other person on that floor was there just to punch the clock.. we never got popcorn but both tables on each side of us did .. out of 2 beers we ordered and what we finally got was warm.. end of the story it lacks clear FOH mangment ( front of House) for someone who doesn't get the lingo.. seems there trying to appeal to a certain market but clearly food can be great but service will make or break you.. read more

After a day on the water at Lake Allatoona, we were looking for a restaurant in nearby Cartersville. Read the reviews on Yelp and decided it looked good. Our party of 4 adults and 2 kids were all very pleased with our selections and a few local craft beers added to our pleasure. On top of that, our server was very helpful and attentive. After months and months of waiting for this place to open, it has been worth the wait. My understanding is Chris did all the interior construction experience etc. He is a chef and a craftsman. The decor is mod but soft. It's clean, warm and inviting. As another Yelp reviewer said the service is good but not great. My appetizer of popcorn was stale so I did not partake. My beet salad arrived a little dry but I ask for more balsamic and that is what it needed. I cannot describe the goodness of the pan seared salmon. It is unbelievably good. I saved room for dessert sort of. I got the chirps and smore skillet. What a unique combo. I ate a few bites and got the rest to go. Once again I am excited for another feather in Cartersville's cap. First, I'll say, the food is good. I'm hoping it's just the salads ... but my basic opinion is this place will not stay here long. My husband and I left, asking each other, "Want to go eat?" We both ordered a "full" beet salad, which consisted of half a cup of arugula and 6 thin beet slices, and with a half fillet of grilled salmon added, it came to $13. I actually had to ask the waiter if it was really a full salad. They really should have done their research. Cartersville is way too rural for fancy, urban food that costs a small fortune. Our first trip to this quaint restaurant on the square yielded an enjoyable dining experience. The staff were friendly and provided prompt service. We had the cauliflower steak and shrimp tacos to begin. Both dishes were very enjoyable and I look forward to having the cauliflower again. Next was a grilled Caesar salad and the Korean BBQ burger. The salads was thoroughly enjoyed by my wife, while I feasted on a well thought out and prepared burger. While I would have liked a little more spice, the overall flavor was great. Paired with the roasted fingerlings and some sauce from the cauliflower, this was an incredible meal. We will definitely be back. read more

I have eaten at Table 20 seven or eight times. My first choice for dinner is the salmon and shrimp risotto. For lunch, my favorite is the BALT- bacon, avocado, lettuce and tomato. The potato soup is awesome. My favorite salad is the beet and goat cheese. The best dessert so far is the apple crisp if it is fresh and hot and has plenty of whipped cream. read more

I have been so excited to see a new restaurant coming to Cartersville, and I had heard so many good things about Table 20, but our first experience was a huge disappointment. First, there were only about 2-3 tables seated for lunch when we arrived, so they were not busy. It was myself, my two young children, and my grandparents. The hostess had us wait while the table was wiped off, but then she didn't seem to notice that the table was clean and so we stood awkwardly and waited for several minutes until I finally asked if we could sit and she said "oh! Yeah!" and finally seated us. Then, no one came to take our drink order. We waited, and waited. A server began to approach our table, then abruptly turned and walked off before she reached us. Another table of two came in and was seated in the next booth, waited on, brought their drinks, and had their food order taken. We were still waiting. Finally, while my grandmother and I were debating whether to just get up and leave, my grandfather managed to get a servers attention (the one helping the table beside ours). She took our drink orders, and was very apologetic. Apparently, the other server was supposed to wait on us and just never did (we had waited about 15 minutes. Which is ridiculous, especially when there were only 2-3 other tables seated). The food: I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with blue cheese. I couldn't taste the blue cheese at all... I checked inside the bun, and found an oily, whitish blue liquid inside, which was apparently the oil from the burger mixed with a minuscule amount of blue cheese. The bacon was very fatty, and soft and limp, almost undercooked. I didn't eat it (and I love bacon). The burger itself was dripping oil and grease... The bottom half of the bun was a wet, disgusting mess from the grease. How hard would it have been to press the oil out before serving...? There was so much grease that it was running out and dripping on my lap. I was wearing white pants, so I attempted to blot the brown grease away with the only paper napkin on the table, which was black, and ended up just adding black to the brown grease stain. My 4 year old and I were both brought unsweet teas (they were supposed to be sweet), because the pitchers got mixed up. That wouldn't normally warrant a mention, but with everything else it begins to look like a bit of a pattern... My grandparents meals weren't as bad as mine, but both of them said that they were not very good, they wouldn't go back, and they were not impressed. It was especially disappointing for me, because they live two hours away and I only see them a few times a year. On those rare occasions, I would like us to enjoy good service and good food, and I can't say we had either today. The only bright spot was that our waitress was very nice. We arrived to Table 20 around 2:30 on Saturday. Very few customers there. Friendly staff and plenty of staff there but our order was close to 45 minutes to the table. A simple order of food. A BLT with crumbled bacon which I doubted was even a slice of bacon. We were told they were out of French fries and offered Brussels sprouts. That was okay but then told no Brussel sprouts and offered some inedible Cole slaw. And also an order of chicken tacos which were just okay. I hope Table 20 makes it but my business will go elsewhere. read more

I heard very good things about this place and being local I wanted to give it a try. Reservations made for Saturday night and good call because it was very busy. Server was very nice. Bar was out of Michelob Ultra but not the end of the world. The place was busy but not wait over an hour for your food busy. Two people in my party ordered the trout - plain and simple the trout was bad. You know bad fish when you see and smell bad fish - the restaurant was serving bad fish. Period. I would have knocked this off as a one time thing but even the server said it is an ongoing issue. Take that for what it is worth but based on the fish alone-I would not return here. The other two entrees on the table were quite good. Place is getting great reviews and business and with them being local I hope that continues. Figure out your seafood offerings though before you make someone very sick. Not coming back. read more

A friend and I stopped in for lunch yesterday. We typically eat at another bistro nearby; but we really wanted to try something new and Table 20 is located near the RR tracks in town...so we had a great view from our roomy booth whenever a periodic train chugged by. The restaurant was cozy with an open concept kitchen so you can watch meals being prepared if you are seated at the bar. My table mate had what most everyone else was having...a big juicy burger. He said it was simple, yet impressive, and quickly devoured it. I selected the farro salad with salmon, which was deliciously refreshing with loads of flavor. The portion was large enough to take home and have for dinner. The "crispy" brussels sprouts arrived oily, soggy, and more burned than charred. The server agreed, then strangely turned and walked away. It was a busy lunch hour; so whatever...not a huge deal. We especially enjoyed the Chipotle Braised Pork Tacos, Crispy Brussels Sprouts, Grilled Romaine Cesar Salad, 24 Hour Marinated Hanger Steak, 12 oz. House rubbed Bone-in Pork Chop, and the Churros with a S'mores Skillet was nothing less than incredible. The wine choices were solid and very reasonably priced. The staff was attentive, the food was good and the prices were reasonable for the type of restaurant it is. Our experience wasn't without the kinks of a restaurant that just opened but I'm sure Chris will work those out. I'm looking forward to going back and giving this five stars. read more

I have eaten at Table 20 many of times. The interior matches a sophisticated aesthetic that is really appealing for date nights or business lunch. You are greeted with high quality menu items and it's hard to choose they all sound quite delicious. The different drinks from the bar are outstanding and there is so much creativity and thought in their fun mixed cocktails. The chefs are amazing at every entree and it's fun to sit at the bar and watch the behind the scenes. My adult daughter and I were in Cartersville for the day and stopped in Table 20 for lunch. My daughter had the Grilled Pimento Cheese and Tomato Soup. It looked gooey and delicious and she said that it was. I opted for the Keto/GF Buffalo Chicken, not that I'm into Keto or Gluten-Free, it just sounded tasty, and it was. We also had dessert. Hers was the Peanut Butter Pie, and mine was the White Chocolate Blackberry Cake. We couldn't have finished them off better if we had licked the plates. Don't worry, we didn't, but wanted to. Our server was super sweet and attentive. The owner was very gracious as well. Although we had no interaction with him, he did have to deal with the booth behind us. They were very rude to their server as well as to him. I was very impressed with how very well he handled the situation. read more

A lucky chance took us to Table 20 after a visit to the Tellus Science Museum. We went crazy for the complimentary popcorn (we tasted what we thought was rosemary, fennel seed and maybe some parmesan?) Ended with the key lime pie: Yellow in color, as all real key lime pie should be, with a delicious, thick (albeit hard) graham cracker crust. These things bracketed plump, perfectly grilled shrimp with risotto, with sweet corn, that was rich and delicious. Prior to coming in the door, I had been being very watchful of every bite that I eat as I continue on my weight-loss journey, but caution was thrown to the wind at Table 20. It was my birthday celebration, so the calories didn't count! Our waiter was outstanding -- knowledgeable and personable -- and I wish I could recall his name. The young man was terrific, originally from New York, now living in Cartersville. (We were there on Saturday, June 10 around 5pm, so management will hopefully know who the kudos should go to.) Excellent from start to finish. Natalie did a great job serving us. Ceasar salad was wonderful. Half size was a full size salad. Reasonable wine and beer prices. I had the GA trout entire. Wonderful crispy skin. Risotto was very good. Wife had grill shrimp over sweet corn risotto and loved it. Son had the cookie stuffed brownie with ice cream and caramel sauce. Wife and son had deviled eggs that were delightful as well. Prices for entrees were very reasonable and portions were good as well. Not sure where the complaints about small portions and high prices are coming from. Highly recommend! Almost forgot. Swheat Market was closed for a private function so my roommate and I decided to try Table 20 out. We both ordered half house salads which are $5.00 and were tasty. The salads were a nice size for a side salad. I ordered the smoked chicken thighs over goat cheese polenta with green beans and he ordered the farfalle pasta carbonara. The server had never tried the chicken dish so he couldn't give an opinion on it. Both dishes were served in small deep white bowls. My roommate finished his dish in under 10 minutes and I tried to make my dish last by cutting the chicken into very small pieces. The polenta was smooth but tasteless and the green beans had a nice taste but they were more like a garnish. With tip my meal and sweet tea came to $30.00. The service was less than average. Our server came to the table twice after ordering. Once to drop off the food and the next to ask if we wanted anything else. Another server saw that our drink glasses needed refilling and took care of it. I left feeling hungry and underwhelmed by the service and my small bland dish. I don't think I'll be back anytime soon. read more

Hands down our favorite restaurant in Cartersville. When family comes into town to visit we make sure to take them to Table 20. Chris has done a fantastic job and is always interacting with his customers. I've eaten here dozens of times at this point and have had no complaints with anything on the menu. The salmon is my personal favorite but you cant go wrong with any of the items- get the s'mores for dessert.
