Premier exceeded my expectations in cleaning four rugs in my home. They were on time, got stains out that I didn't think were possible. The sizes varied from an expensive 9X12 oriental rug and an 8X10 shag rug. Also included a very light colored rug with dog stains that now looks brand new. After I wrote the previous review, I got a call from PCS telling me that my rug was indeed ready for drop off and had been ready since Feb 11th. The man on the phone said he was not sure why no one had contacted me but that they could drop off the rug at 9am on Tuesday, on Tuesday around 9 I was called and PCS informed me that they were still at their location and that my rug still had a bit of a stain could they come on Thursday 8:30-9. On Thursday 8:30-9 no call no show. Thursday around 5:20pm I got a call that they were sorry not sure what happened. On Friday at 8:15 I finally got my rug! Thank you lord! After all the hassle I must say that my rug looks brand new. It had a red wax stain from a candle and it's a white shag rug. Called these guys to clean my basement carpeting after one too many pet accidents. Avi warned me that cat urine is nearly impossible to remove ( which I already knew) but he could certainly improve the situation. His team was professional and fast and drastically improved thr odor in my basement while cleaning up old stains. With 4 kids from ages 7 to an infant, our 8 year old carpet was VERY dirty. These guys are fantastic!! I was so happy with the cleaning result we hired them for. We have a very large couch and 2 dogs that like to shed all over it. I've tried many times to keep it clean myself but the amount of hair that gets in those tiny stitching crevices makes it nearly impossible for me to do it. I really thought the couch was a lost cause, but after I hired Premier Service to take a stab at it, I could NOT believe how well they got the hair and the smell out!! It honestly looked, felt and smelt like a brand new couch! Unfortunately, my dogs pretty much got it dirty again the next day lol but I'm for sure planning to hire them maybe once or twice a year to just keep it as clean as possible. I was also very impressed by the cost. They had quoted us based on the information we gave them (size mainly) and were happy to hear how decently priced it was. Premier Carpet Service was fantastic and I highly recommend to others looking for similar services. I previously hired a carpet cleaning company to repair a stain in my apartment. While friendly, they were unable to remove the stain and did not refund the charge. Premier Carpet offers spot dyeing which is surprisingly rare in Chicagoland. This was needed to fix my stain. Arvy was very responsive when I contacted him and offered a lifetime guarantee (no payment unless stain is removed). His prices were reasonable and he was able to schedule an appointment very promptly. I am most appreciate of the service on the day of the appointment. I was unable to be home to let the cleaner in to the apartment and my roommate slept through his arrival. Rather than leaving, the cleaner waited and knocked while I roused my roommate and ultimately had the building management let him in. I booked carpet cleaning with Premier Carpet Services after reading the wonderful Yelp reviews, and it was done very smoothly. Did it all online a month ahead of time and communicated via email. The day they came- I forgot-it was my fault entirely and on a busy Friday morning, they waited patiently for the Freight Elevator that I forgot to book. After 30-40 minutes while communicating with my husband and the condo staff, they were able to get on with everything. They did a quick and very effective job, cleaning our one bedroom condo. They got out all the spots that were difficult for us to get out ourselves. With a white carpet in a condo that gets dusty easily, I was extremely happy with the service. These guys are doing an excellent work! I used a couple of companies service before, but they only did the basic cleaning and would ask for more for doing deeper cleaning and using chemical products. These guys are EXCELLENT! It was a pleasure working with Premier Carpet Service. I needed carpeting for the bedrooms of my new condo. I first called over the phone, and the agent who answered was very helpful. She took down my requirements and within 30 minutes I was contacted by the carpet specialist, Arvy. He already had my info, gave a quick rundown of the options available, the process, and the approximate cost based on the square footage I provided. He texted me samples of carpeting and answered all questions I had very thoroughly. Once I selected the carpeting I wanted, Arvy sent over a detailed invoice and scheduled a date for the work based on my availability. He was forced to switch the date in the end, but did me advance notice. The team he sent over were very professional. They showed me the carpeting beforehand to make sure I was satisfied. They took measurements of the room and finished the job (~500 sq ft) within 2 hours! And the final finish was absolutely great! Can't recommend these guys any higher! IF YOU WANT NEW CARPET INSTALLED AND A HEADACHE-FREE PROCESS, GO WITH THESE GUYS Only caveat: they don't provide warranty for their carpet since their carpets are actually remnants from larger distributors. This was not a big deal to us, but if you want the warranty, you can buy your own carpet and have these guys install it!! read more

Although my carpeting was visibly not so bad, I knew it's deep dirty secrets and so did my dog. I called a few other places, the ones with the traveling charge, the ones who said they could give me a quote but who really could not (come on, I'm not looking for a diagnosis, just some basic carpet cleaning), and some who did not answer on a Sunday (love that Premier answered on a Sunday). Premier came out on Monday, and for a little above their minimum but below the estimate over the phone, I have fresh, clean, pretty, beige carpeting throughout. An hour later, the carpets had been restored to their pristine beige......................................most likely for the next few weeks while our puppy picks up more dirt and brings it into the house. Kudos to Premier Carpet Service! Last weekend I hired Premier Carpet Service to come out and clean my couch and living room area rug. While the couch was in great shape, the white area rug was to be desired. I had attempted to have it cleaned twice before by a dry cleaners and professional cleaning company but wasn't happy with the outcome due to the spots that were still showing. Premier did the trick! They spent extra time on my rug and was able to get out EVERY spot. The rug was very expensive and I didn't want to replace it. The rug looks like new now! Premier even applied a protectant chemical on it for me as well. I will definitely call Premier for my next cleaning needs. read more

The guys who cleaned the (horrible, nappy) carpet in my rental unit just left, and I'm thrilled with their results. The carpet looks and smells fantastic. As a bonus, they treated my things with respect: they moved as much furniture as possible for the best clean, and left things neat. The technicians also made (non-pushy) recommendations for future services. (The carpet in our unit is all lumpy, which is something we'd definitely pay them to fix if we owned this place.) They instructed me to call if the stains I wanted removed were visible when the carpet dried. I certainly don't see them now. I called Premier after reading all the positive reviews left by other satisfied customers. Arvy called me shortly after I had sent an email through their web site, gave me a price quote and was very flexible with scheduling a time for them to come clean my carpets and my sofa. He was even flexible with my need to reschedule and agreed to come the day after instead, when I was prepared to have to push back the cleaning at least a week. I have a kitty who has been vomiting lately so I had some spots on the carpet that I had made worse by using store bought cleaners. All but one are completely gone (a toughy - But Arvy said that he would come back and spot treat if necessary. For now, I am not sure if it is my imagination or that it's still sort of there. Either way, I am pleased that he offered to return to re-treat the spot if needed). Aside from the kitty stains, I had regular foot traffic dirt and spots near the door. All were removed after Arvy and his employee left my place. They were delayed a bit, but called in the morning to let me know. Not a problem as they knew I had a time frame to adhere to. They arrived and got to work. Both Arvy and his employee were professional, courteous and personable. They did a fantastic job (within an hour - I have a one bedroom apartment). My lovable mutt ate something that disagreed with her tummy and my upstairs carpets took the brute of it. When I called about six on a Thursday night, desperate for someone to clean my carpets within the next 48 hours, they were able to get out to my house the next morning. The morning of, they called to let me know that they were running about 10 minutes late, which I appreciated. He took measurements and gave me a couple of options regarding cleaning. I thought the prices were reasonable, and they were efficient and my rugs look and smell way better than before. I also learned that they will do free pick up/drop off of area rugs for cleaning, and considering that in addition to the lovable mutt, there are two rug-rats who are still learning the finer points of eating and playing.... probably a service I will need soon. read more

But, was told now stains were too old to get out, which is probably true. But perhaps if they reached out sooner than 8 months, maybe something coudl have been done. Overall, I was happy with the cleaning service and the guys who picked up and delivered the rugs were very courteous and attentive to detail. However, I also had a repair done on the rug which required serging of the rug. When the rug came back, only one side was done which makes the rug look completely lopsided. When I called to complain, I was told that that's was all they had agreed to do when we discussed the fix (one side was $200 on an 8x10). He said to do the whole rug would be $800 which is crazy because at that point, I would have said no and just bought a new rug. He promised to call me back and never did. So while they may do good cleaning, I would not recommend them for repairs. read more

Had an appt for couch cleaning on Saturday this past weekend between 1-3PM. Was told i would receive a call on the day of to give me a more definitive time of arrival. 1:30PM, no call. So I reached out to the company, got the machine and left a message. Nothing. After sitting at home till 3 and wasting a few hours of gorgeous weather, I gave up. I got a call at 5:40 PM from the guys saying they had me down for 3-5PM. I said - first of all, that was the incorrect time slot. Secondly, even if they had me from 3-5PM, they were still 40 mins too late. They blamed Lollapalooza traffic, and I can understand. Chicago does go nuts in summer with all kinds of insane traffic. So - why the 2 stars? The owner personally called me later, profusely apologized and offered to do the job anytime at my convenience at a discount. That was very nice of him. I don't think my schedule will open up for a long time to have this happen, but I appreciate his responsiveness and graciousness. I would sincerely recommend he finds a better system to keep track of appointments. He told me the lady who schedules appts works at home weekends, so the number I called earlier to check on my appt went unanswered. If that's the case, she should be provided some sort of remote access to check messages during weekends. Or the call should get forwarded to the guys on the road doing the actual jobs. With so many 5 star reviews, this business is obviously doing something right. I'd hate for them to lose customers (or potential customers such as me) due to confusion in appt scheduling and technological challenges which can be easily fixed. read more

Klutzy me spilled a full class of red wine on our cream wool Pottery Bary rug. We rushed to get the "red" out with a mix of salt, carpet cleaner and water. This left a gross white stiff residue we couldn't get rid of. After seeing positive reviews for Premier Carpet Service on Yelp, I submitted an online inquiry for an estimate. The owner called immediately (on a Sunday morning) and came to pick up the rug a couple hours later. He mentioned the carpet would be ready on Wed or Thurs, but we asked for delivery on Saturday (today) since we both work during the week. It's back and looks as good as new. They came over to clean the upholstery on my 2 over-sized linen chairs that had some pet stains and overall discoloration from normal wear. Both guys arrived on time, were very nice and friendly, were careful to remove their shoes in my home, and were very intent on removing any of the difficult stains instead of just going over it once and calling it a day. I was pleasantly surprised with this company's level of service and professionalism. They called 30 minutes before arriving, arrived on time and finished in about 1.5 hours. The carpet was not in terrible condition, but definitely needed cleaning before moving into our new home. Arvy, the owner, was on site and gave me the specifics during the walk-thru.
