We wen ToT a "sister" property in Cancun (Rosa Negre) and the staff was very judgmental and rude (not the servers). The servers and staff here were excellent and happy & fun. Im sorry. I really wanted to like this place. But nah...food was disgusting. How can u actually get a burger wrong? No salt, no taste for anything Id give service a three due to some of the servers being odd. Ambiance was nice. So four stars for that. But the food was so bad that overall, this place gets a one star. It has no reason to b this expensive. We should get comped for ur terrible food. read more

This place is a vibe. It's located at hotel ME Cabo and it's very lively and fun! The views are AMAZING, staff are friendly, playful, and attentive. I gave 4 stars because they only play EDM style music and it's not really inclusive but it's still a nice place to go and have a great time. read more

The place and vibe is amazing. Super pricey but worth it on the cocktails. I ordered two starters octopus and muscles. I sent the octopus back it was super chewy and sub par. The flavor was good but so tough I couldn't eat it. The service is good and they replaced it with the calamari. The taste was good but again undercooked and super tough. I was going to order a main course but decided against it as the starters were so dissatisfying. Vibe, music and drinks 5 star. Food 2 star at best. To be fair they just opened and it cooked right the flavors would of worked very well. read more

Do not come here on a Sunday the DJ is a complete asshole he will never take any requests he has a major attitude the service and the waiters are amazing the food was also wonderful again the DJ was a complete asshole! Went as a small group of 5, had a reservation so seating with not an issues. But the service has horrible. It took so long to get our drinks and even longer for our food. My husband and I ordered and app and 2 entrees while the rest of the group just entrees. They received their plates when we got our app, and it took another 20mins to get our entrees. We almost told our server just to cancel at that point. When our food finally came, it was alright but we had plans so we took it to go (another 10 min wait for a box). When the check came, we were rudely told it could not be split between the parties (no where does it say that and we were never told in person) and they kept pressuring us to tip on the card. My husband spoke the manager about all this and the manager was being very rude about why we wanted to tip in cash. The only person who deserved a tip was our busser who was running around trying to help us. For the price of the food and the ambiance, I expected better service. Never going back and if you are Mexican, I suggest you stay away. Doesn't seem like they want our money. read more

Had a reservation at 7, and was greeted SO warmly at the door and at reception, and was even sat ten minutes early. However, we asked for water immediately and proceeded to be ignored for 40 minutes. I stood up and my girlfriend threatened to leave and then two minutes later we had our drinks not sure if it was our waiter, or if the entire restaurant decided to not serve a gay couple. Finally got our food and it was pretty good. However, my girlfriend is now sick with food poisoning.... We had the catch of the day which should have been more than fresh... Waiters and MANAGER were vaping at the service station while we sat there with no water, checking in for literally 40 minutes. Eventually, the manager came to apologize and sent something over but at that point, our nice romantic dinner was ruined. I understand it's a large resort with lots of moving parts but waiters actively ignoring a table for nearly an hour is unacceptable. read more

We went against our concierge recommendation to NOT go to Taboo, but I wanted something lively. Well, that's exactly what we got, but not in a good way. It was LOUD with thumping base blasting constantly through the sound system. The atmosphere was like a 3-ring circus. We couldn't hear ourselves talk, much less each other, and had to ask the waiter to repeat himself every time he spoke. I gave it two stars for these reasons. If I could give separate ratings for each aspect of the dinner, I would give it 5 stars for service. Ivan was really attentive and friendly. I would give the food 3-4 stars. The branzino was cooked perfectly. The Coconut margarita was just meh. They brought out sparklers at the end with champagne to celebrate our anniversary, which was nice but pretty cheesy. Overall, I guess if you want a very loud, very crowded dinner experience with pretty good food, this place is for you. If you prefer something classier and more low-key, listen to your concierge. read more

Unimpressed. There was zero energy. I expected a low crowd, but this location is nothing in comparison to Tulum or Cancun. My fish was at first too raw and under seasoned. Well, I wish I would've kept it, because it returned overly cooked. I asked for it to be cooked A LITTLE more. It came out nearly 15 minutes later very dry. Also, my martini barely had any alcohol. I can say my friend enjoyed their steak and the appetizer was good. I discussed it with the staff and all I received was an apology. Threw out an entire plate and wasted money. Poor customer service. Oh well. Two stars for the brand and a few positives, but overall I wouldn't return or recommend. read more

At our 7:00pm dinner there were 4 different DJs playing at the same time, so loud even the staff struggled to take our orders. The Greek salad consisted of a bowl of tomatoes and a block of feta cheese, the meatball appetizer, a mere three, well done hamburger slider sized balls, and the paella arrived overly salted (inedible) with undercooked rice. My partner and I ate here when we stopped by for the night during the Groove Cruise. The food was mid given the situation we dealt with and price. There was a bunch of miscommunication on whether we were able to use our cashless wristbands or not for food. We don't drink alcohol and the hostess told us that our wristbands were only valid for the bar and drinks and we would have to pay extra to eat as the wristband money was non refundable. My partner and I prepaid for these wristbands with the mindset that we would spend the money we have on food and were also told that we needed the wristbands to enter the area. We were told a bunch of different things by different people and it was super confusing and frustrating. For food itself, my pasta was a little chewy? The sauce was good though and my partner's salmon burger was pretty good. Its a 3 star review for me bc of how hard it was to finally get food and the price it was. Dinner and drinks were amazing! This place is a whole vibe. I enjoyed all of the courses from the pitta bread to my large balls (what me & Robi called them) meatballs of course. Robi & Cazeles we're very attentive. They even provide our group with some warm towels because it was kind of chilli out. I have been staying at Me Cabo for years. This time they said their pool is being run by Taboo which is another company. Complete scam. Service is horrible. We had to beg for service. Everyone is clueless of anything that is going on. At the end my girlfriend and I got our bill and the bill claimed we had 17 mixed drinks and 4 beers which is not even humanly possible. What's more interesting Is that we don't even drink beer. After we complained they apologized and lowered it to 6 drinks which we did have and at $30 a drink for vodka and sprite. That's right $30 a drink. At that point we were disgusted and wanted to just pay and leave and then waiter asks if ok to add 20% for tip for coming to our table 3 times all day. Complete fraud. Be careful and watch your bill. If they see you are tipsy they will screw you. Will never go back to the pool or hotel. read more

I've been all over the world and back multiple times but the service here is exceptionally great, the food, the atmosphere, the vibe, the scenery, the list can go on and on!! Alberto which I believe is one of the managers has great service with everyone and makes sure everything is running smoothly. He runs the whole show with ease it looks like, even though I'm sure it's not easy. Our servers Jorge and Omar were great as well helping us with everything that we needed with a sense of urgency. The food was delicious! The fireworks were a good surprise as well, that I did not expect. Lastly, they had a violinist by the name of Carlita that has a presence that is captivating to all and gave everyone individual attention and put on an amazing show! Terrible service, massively overpriced weak drinks, very disappointed. Took a group of 14 with a 7 pm reservation. We were offered a cabana after we declined a table next to the bar. We were essentially neglected for the first 20 minutes. Drinks were ordered and arrived in a barely acceptable period of time, but bottles of Evian were $10 a piece and drinks were over $20 apiece. With those prices, we expected outstanding service. It fell far short of that. We never ordered the food and left after drinks only were finally served. The spicy margueritas were so spicy they were undrinkable and I'm fairly sure my Cadillac marguerita did not have a shot of triple sec. Unacceptable when you're paying those types of prices. And given Taboo's reputation as a hot restaurant, we were astonished by their poor performance. Lots of pretty people posing in bikinis and flexing shirtless torsos. But not worth the price of such dismal service and exorbitant prices. We walked five minutes down the road and had amazing affordable food at Gardenias. read more

Went here while on my bachelorette trip! And this place was most definitely an experience, A GREAT ONE! The food is extremely pricey and we ended up spending like $40 on still water for the table and maybe $60 for sparkling. I was in Cabo with my best friend and her family for the, the 6 of us . This was suppose to be a birthday celebration for me and another member in our group of 6. I was so extremely disappointed from the beginning. After a long wait, the waitperson finally took our drink order. I ordered Pinot Grigio. Usually the waitstaff will all you to take a taste, but no not here in this very hip place. I returned my drink ASAP as it was awful !!! I ordered a lighter meal: humus and their asparagus soup. I was delivered dried out old pita bread cut into wedges with humus, but where was my soup!! It never arrived, twice the waitperson deliver a plate of asparagus to me which I kept returning. So finally I said delete the awful glass of wine off my bill and the soup that never arrived. Half the people in my party were very unsatisfied with their meals. I will never eat there again as the place is very dark ( you can't see), too loud with their music that you can't carry on a conversation with anyone, they don't have they typical paper menus, it's all the QR Codes. So half of us had to ask for a paper menu, because our phones won't take that code, and we couldn't even read because it was so dark! When the waitperson finally came around to take our order, one of our group member asked it we could have individual checks and the answer was NO! One option was that they could take the total and divide it into 4 equally parts. Well there is no way that I am going to do that as most of my order was wrong and I didn't even want to leave a tip. And everyone else ordered more expensive food and beverages, it a nut shell this high class restaurant is all fake :( read more
