Stopped in for lunch on a Friday. The owner greeted us right away. He was very friendly and explained anything we had questions about. We had the beef shawarma wrap and a chicken shawarma combo plate with hummus and Baba ghanoush plus an order of dolma (stuffed grape leaves). Both shawarmas were very good. The beef shawarma had a nice tangy taste from the sumac seasoning on the wrap. The wrap was pretty well stuffed with the shawarma and the fixings - it eventually burst on the plate, so ask for extra napkins! The combo plate was filling with the shawarma, salad, hummus and Baba ghanoush. Hummus was nice and smooth and the Baba ghanoush had just enough smokey taste but didn't overwhelm the dish. They are both worth taking home a container full. Overall good food and friendly owner to make it worth a return visit for lunch or casual dinner. Should be 4.5 stars if Yelp allowed for an extra half star. read more

Delicious, fresh, authentic, flavorful and incredible middle eastern cuisine. When you're craving these flavors but just can't get yourself to drive somewhere and come back, Uber eats came in clutch and that's how u found this precious gem. I wanted a little bit of everything so I ordered the combo platter #4 that has hummus, tabbouli, falafel and stuffed grape leaves. It comes with enough bread to be satisfied and happy forever. The falafel were the right mix and so crispy and flavorful. Despite not having a full restaurant experience and having more a to go enjoy at home kind of thing, the flavors, quality and fresh ingredients excelled here. Great Lebanese food. This was our first time there and I struggled to order the right combination - Wanted a platter, but with lamb in it and that combination was not available. And, I worried I will over-order if I ordered a Kebab on top. So, we both ordered a platter each. Then we found some interesting things like pickled turnips, fava beans etc. While we were a little unsure on how to use them, got a few. The owner came and said "I saw you were struggling with the menu, so I asked them to add some lamb to your dish". That was so nice of him and it was not expected. The Tabouli, the hummus, the pita and the falafel were very good. The lamb was great and I will make sure I will add it next time. We found their food very tasty (4.5), the decor very nice but a bit too much Chipotle-ish (4.0), the service is very nice and accommodating (5.0). We found the food very good and reasonably priced. The chicken Shawarma wrap and Shawarma dinner were very good. We commented that they use pickles a bit much for us, but that's a personal taste thing. We all noticed unusual thirst that evening. Kibbeh was very good, as was the humus. As mentioned by others, their Baklava is very good, wife said one of the best! The decor is very clean but with a sterile feel. Set up like any modern fast-food establishment where you self-serve, but clearly home-made food. Not a place for first date, unless you're under 15. We loved the inspirational and humorous signage. It's only a few months old, but this Lebanese newcomer is already setting some high bars for deliciousness. Everything at this family-run establishment seems to be scratch made and fresh. A falafel platter (around $12) came with five ENORMOUS falafel balls, served with shredded iceberg lettuce; good, ripe tomatoes; and a generous container of creamy tahini on the side. Although the crust on the falafel was lovely and crisp (and magically not at all greasy), at two-inches in diameter -- almost double the size of the NYC norm -- I was a little worried the insides might be undercooked. That turned out to be a non-issue. I loved the robust texture unique to scratch-made falafels, the presence of an unusual-to-me sweet spice. There weren't as many herbs in Tabouli and More's version as there are in my favorites, and I think I do prefer a smaller falafel to maximize the fried crust to volume ratio -- but I've personally not encountered a more delicious example of the species in the greater Danbury area. A kofta platter (around $19) was also generously portioned and included five substantial, juicy kebabs made with a mixture of ground beef and lamb. These were served alongside tomatoes, peppers and onions (freshly grilled / griddled and fragrant), all over fat grains of good rice, garnished with toasted slivered almonds. I agree with another reviewer who said the dish could've been improved with sauce. We borrowed some tahini from our falafel, but if you don't happen to have an order with a complementary sauce, I'd order a side of hummus, yogurt-cucumber sauce, or tahini to go with. Our food came with sides of thin lavash, great for wrapping around everything. There were lots of interesting drinks in the case to the left of the register: mango lassi, mint and tamarind sodas, several types of teas. There's also a small section to the right of the register with a few shelves of groceries: za'atar and other spices, Lebanese pickles, sour cherries, preserves, olive oil, stuffed grape leaves, etc... Decided to try Tabouli after hearing good reviews. We ordered a salad, baba ghannouj, lamb gyro and beef gyro and its was very good! It was plenty of food for splitting between 3 people and loved it so much we got baklava for dessert. It was just the right amount of sweet without being overbearing. This is my first time trying this spot and I believe it recently opened as well so I can imagine there's going to be some trial and error involved. I enjoyed my meal here. I got the beef kebab after they told me my first choice of beef shwarma isn't available. The entree came with grilled onions, peppers, tomatoes and rice. It was pretty good, I just wish it had a little more zest to it. I also ordered the baba ghanoush which I used to top off some more flavor to my kebab meal which made it better. Very kind and welcoming owner who served us a delicious feast. I will say they seem to be more geared towards takeout as they didn't have real plates or silverware and it was plastic or paper. Despite this we had a delicious meal of hummus, tabouli, meats, rice and vegetables. Everything was flavorful and well spiced. Overall, the food will keep us coming back but I think we'll do takeout in the future. They also had a nice selection of Lebanese grocery items which was great! read more

Wow!!! The food here is really really good. It's the best falafel I've ever had. I will be back. The Tabouli was seasoned perfectly. The babaganoush was excellent. I have to admit I am less exposed and not at all an expert with middle school eastern food, but I do appreciate technique and well seasoned food. They execute dishes amazingly. They can cook. Come by and try it for yourself. I also met the owner's cousin who helped us set up a table outside (we finally hit 68 around here). Recently found this place and gave it a try. So glad we went. Had the #3 Combo platter and thought it was quite good. Everything was fresh and tasty. Loved the falafel and hummus especially. I wish I'd seen the little grocery section before I paid, but next time I will pick up a few items, including one of the tahinis they sell. Followed up our dinner with the baklava which was scrumptious. The owner was so nice and clearly took great care with our meal. Looking forward to our next visit. read more

BEST LEBANESE FOOD EVER! Growing up with Lebanese roots, I'm a bit fussy about my tabouli (and more!) EVERYTHING from tabouli to humus to kibbee to grape leaves is absolutely authentic and DELICIOUS! Counter service keeps prices reasonable, and Michael and staff are always welcoming and friendly. The location, just beyond Costco is convenient, so I can't stay away. So my co-workers and I ordered here to try this new spot. HONESTLY, very dissatisfied. Down to the worlds most dry dessert option. The chicken was super dry not much flavor. Served with French fries that were sub par and little assortment with the worlds thinnest pita. The lamb and meat combo was just bland and OK...nothing special not worth the money what so ever.
